Great prices! And nice portions. Got one taco carne Asada and 1 bistec in Chile arbol 👌 been coming here since I was old enough to walk, everything is good here! Tamales and guisado de res are some favorites .never disappoints, just be ready to wait a lil while when it's packed, but we'll worth it...

Delicious tacos and amazing variety of yummy Mexican food dishes. The security guard there was really friendly! He helps us get seated and napkins/to go boxes. The service is pretty quick despite the long lines! The restaurant is very clean and the shop is also quick to ring you out! I always enjoy coming here!

Tacos are big and taste as good as anywhere they make Tacos. I had the asada, lengua and Chile relleno... Sad to say, as good as they were, I couldn't finish them.

The food here is amazing!! Decent portion size and so tasty 😋 Not too expensive either... also, make sure to get the horchata, it's definitely worth it!!

I have been coming to this place forever. I come whenever I am in the area and have got food for parties. Plenty of parking, the food has been consistent over the years always fresh and delicious. I see they made some changes on where to pick up your food once ordered. Actually it's a plus because it use to be very tight with ordering and picking up in the same small area. I don't have anything negative to say. I just hate I live so far because if I didn't I would probably be there every week. The tacos are the best !

Right when you walk in, you can smell all the delicious food being cooked up in there. A great option out of the many available in this area. Line can get a little long but the food is worth the wait! Restaurant is ran quickly and efficiently.

The nopales are delicious. However, the service was mediocre on this day. The older lady that works there was mean and rude. People were waiting for the nopales to arrive from their other location,but they just wouldn't arrive. People were told it was a 10 minute wait, but those 10 minutes ended up being over an hour. The workers just kept lying over and over about the wait time.

This place has some really good steak tacos might need to add some salt to the meat as they do not add seasoning. They cook it on a open fire flame, its super cool that you can see them cook the meat. We had the tamales as well they had good flavor try the green chicken ones. Price is reasonable because of the quality they put in what they do no cutting corners. The flour tortilla with the steak Is my go to. They add rice and beans to them so make sure they understand how you want the taco plane/onion cilantro/or with rice and beans.

El Milagro, translates in English as, the miracle. Upon entry, everything was right; it smelled right, we were welcomed right and the verde chicken tamales were absolutely done right. It was definitely, a little miracle. The folks working here are some of the warmest, most polite and hospitable people I've ever encountered. I felt like family, truly. There was ranchera playing and plenty of seating. The line was long but moved swiftly. We ordered steak tacos and tamales. Everything was so flavorful and authentic. The tacos smelled like home because we only use El Milagro tortillas for tacos back home. This is one very special place -- I walked away feeling like I had been nurtured. I plan to purposely look for ways to get back here rápidamente or as we say, quickly :)

This is my first time visiting this location of El Milagro tacos on 26th ST. Upon entering you smell the delicious grilled meats. They have a hot food line behind plexiglass where you can see all the variety available for tacos or plate lunches before ordering. It is a clean restaurant with plenty of food variety. Casual ambiance and quick service. Ordered the asada tacos with salad only. They do have loud music playing and it stays very busy. The tacos are still good but lack seasoning and the tortillas are not even warm. The aguas frescas are not homemade which was a downer.

I got to check out Taqueria El Milagro with my friend have to say it is one of the best taco spots I have been able to try since moving. Let me get into it! The food was hands down, the best Mexican food I have been able to try. The quality of the food was amazing the steak was out of this world every bite was worth it. The service was alright it seemed really busy so it took a little longer than I excited but, waiting made the food taste even better. The atmosphere was very low key and pleasant. The décor really made the experience even better. Overall, TeM is one of the best taco spots in the city. Here is a tip for anyone that wants tortillas. Next to TeM is where they make tortillas so you can get reasonably priced tortillas if you want!

Auténtica Mexican cuisine, the only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because I've never seen employees working in a 90degrees environment, dining room was hot, imagine the counter kitchen? This girls deserve my admiration. Owner must provide AC for them. Service was nice and kind. 4 stars for employees this time. By the way I was visiting from New York Chef and consultant

If you want to score some great tamales, you have to get there before 9 am. They have great chilaquiles for breakfast too. It's a little far for me. Wish there was a Milagro closer to me. It really is worth the drive if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican Breakfast food.

I was in the area for jury duty and we were given an hour for lunch. I wasn't excited over the idea of eating courthouse food and was looking for alternatives. Upon suggestion from a friend, El Milagro was the place to go. I drove there and arrived around noonish. When I got in, a line to the counter had formed. While waiting, I looked up at their menu and decided on carne asada tacos to go. When it was my turn to order the lady at the counter asked if I wanted rice and beans and I said yes. I paid, she gave me my number and proceeded to wait towards the back of the restaurant where orders are picked up. My Spanish vocab is minimal. I can comprehend a few words but can't carry conversation. Be aware they call out order numbers in Spanish. Make sure you heard right otherwise run the risk of walking away with someone else's food which is a BIG no-no. I was cautious and just showed my number to the person manning the takeout section. I received my meal after waiting for 10 minutes. Bag in tow, I drove back to the courthouse to eat my lunch. Once I found a place to eat, I opened up my brown bag and saw my 3 tacos, sauces, napkins and silverware. I was like, "That's it? Where are my rice and beans?" At this point I didn't plan on returning, (I only had 30 minutes of lunch left) nor was I looking to call and complain to say I was missing my sides of rice and beans. However, I noticed the 3 tacos I ordered were super thick and larger than what I'm used to receiving. I opened up one, dressed it with salsa verde and took a bite. It was pretty damn tasty! The taco was filled with plenty of flavorful charred meat and then there it was! Embedded in the taco were my rice and beans! They didn't forget. That's just how they roll here and I was pleasantly surprised by it. El Milagro is a solid joint for delicious fast Mexican food ensuring you get a lot for value. For those driving in, there is a dedicated parking lot to the left of the restaurant along 26th street. This was a good find and I would for sure return when I find myself in Little Village.

I came here because I wanted to try their champurrado, but unfortunately they were out. It would have been a perfect drink for a cold day. Instead, I got the stewed beef taco, which was good. I hope to be back when they have champurrado.

Affordable, hearty and delicious. Get in line order your food and go take a seat. They bring the food over to you. My friend gets the burrito which is filling and tasty. My go to is the chicken dinner plate or steak dinner plate. I make myself a couple tacos with the beans and slaw. The plates also come with rice. Just a solid affordable meal.

This is Rounded up from 3.5 stars. First of all, Hats off to the brand recognition for El Milagro tortillas. Milagro mean Miracle in Spanish and these tortillas are in every store throughout Chicagoland. They've got a few restaurants here in Chicagoland and they're in GA and elsewhere. That's great, how they've been able to spread their presence out. Went to the original spot I believe, in Little Village, which is the closest thing to being in Mexico in the Midwest. Right on 26th St. and they have a convenient parking lot. Try to come early (like 11:00 a.m.), as many reviewers have pointed out. Otherwise the line really backs up. What I really like is that they have an on-site Security guard who also guides you to your table - which is in a plexiglass enclosure, complete with a sliding door. That's really cool and I like that separation without feeling claustrophobic. As for the food, the steak platter was a clear winner, it came with plenty of steak and it comes well done. As for the tacos, it's kinda new to me - on top of two tortillas, they put onions and refried beans along with your protein. So you definitely need a knife and fork. There's no way you can pick that up with your hands. My chicken mole taco was not breast meat but rather, a thigh with bones. And the lengua came in a red sauce instead of being dry, which is what I'm accustomed to. The stuffed poblano came with red sauce and it got a little soggy but it was good. The food was plentiful and you won't go away hungry.

Um yum. This place is a neighborhood delight. Feels very local. Love that there's parking too. What a plus! Upon entering you can't help but notice all the protocols they have in place. They have tables with plastic walls for social distancing and there's an organized system with ordering. Very clean too- especially the tables and bathrooms. Sometimes it's so busy with a line out the door so maybe an off time would be a good idea- we went around 12 and were just in time. As we left around 1 is was very busy. The workers were so nice. They even let me practice my Spanish. They did have a mess up with the cash register and we had to re-name all our food so it took a long time. They were apologetic and kind about it though. The veggie tosta was great but heavy on the bread. The chips were incredible- thick and homemade. Amazing sauces and great flavor all around. The tacos looked amazing. Jealous. They have tamales- tons of options that change daily and are pretty cheap. That's kinda one of their things and it checks out. There are sweet and savory ones- didn't even know that was a thing! Fun! We got some to go. Very heavy and dense but when we split them they were a great little snack throughout the day. Next door is the tortilla factory- stop by for some to go torts!

Food is great and good price , but be ready to waste time waiting in line or for your food the service is very very slow

This restaurant is adjacent to the El Milagro Tortilla factory. You'll find so many delicious things here. My recommendations are the pork green chile verde and the bistec a la Mexicana (Mexican steak). It comes with Mexican rice, refried beans, and slaw. The slaw is really quite good, sweet, refreshing, and light. It comes with a choice of flour or corn tortillas--I implore you to try their fresh corn tortillas, because nothing beats a fresh corn tortilla.

Can you say Deliciously authentic Mexican cuisine at a bargain basement price! I tried the beef and steak tacos and the steak tacos hit it out of the park for me. Big, Juicy, tender and flavorful what more can a girl ask for. Customer service was amazing and inside seating was reinvented. CDC guidelines fully enforced. Each dining table was enclosed with sturdy plexiglass - how ingenious was that! I'm hooked so I'm coming back for the dine in experience.

I've have always gone to the El Milagro in Pilsen and I finally made it out to this El Milagro on 26th. The line was out the door, but it moved somewhat quick. As soon as you enter and look to the right, you'll see the cooks in the corner cooking their carne Asada on the grill. It looks so damn delicious! Back in the day I was ignorant and didn't really appreciate how they serve tacos here. It's not your traditional taqueria with cebolla y cilantro and like 8 different types of meat. Here you'll get cafeteria style food. Where everything is laid out and you can eee them making everything right in front of you. Instead of cebolla y cilantro, they add rice, beans and cabbage. Any any given weekend, a Mexican backyard bbq will consist of tacos with rice and beans. So when you come to El Milagro and order tacos, just know you're eating some pretty damn good home cooked food that any Mexican would offer you in their own homes. My wife always gets their Puerco en salsa verde taco. The pork is so tender and the sauce adds some amazing flavor. I usually get a couple bites from her taco, but my main order is two carne Asada tacos. Rice, beans, carne Asada topped with cabbage. The carne Asada is seasoned and grilled to perfection. It's so tender and goes well with their homemade Milagro tortillas. They also give you salsas to add to this amazing taco. I will admit, the tacos are a little difficult to eat, and if you don't have a large appetite than one taco might be all you need. El Milagro has stayed consistent throughout the years and I don't see it ever changing. Can't wait to come back!

El Milagro is one of my all-time favorite Chicago Mexican restaurants. I have been a loyal customer for many many years, and one thing I am extremely disappointed in is their serving portions. I am unsure if the small portions are due to new management and or the recession- but this is ridiculous! The burritos used to be twice as big as the one pictured here. Very disheartening. If you wanna get your money's worth then do not come spend it here :(

Just always good! Been coming here for over 20 years and never disappointed. My favorite is just the simple steak taco. They do it like no other place. The cabbage, beans, and the oh my gosh steak! They're always busy, so sometimes you might wait if you're carrying out. But it's not Taco Bell people, you wait for better food!

There aren't too many options near the courthouse but Little Village is nearby and why not go to El Milagro? My sister and I came in for a late lunch and it hit the spot. I will say that our meal did come out to a little more than 20 bucks but that's because we tried really, really hard. I had three tacos, the asada, chiccaron and lengua as well as a tamale and a jamaica and my sister basically mirrored that order. An asada taco is pretty hard to mess up and they didn't. I felt that there was too much salsa on the chiccaron taco and it made everything soggy. The lengua though was on point but again, just drowned in sauce; I'm a messy eater to begin with and adding that to the mix didn't help. I will say though that the best part of our respective meals were the tamales. I had a carnitas one and it was the right amount of masa to meat ratio. Hopefully, on your visit there'll be someone selling churros outside to end your meal.

Ever had a dream about a steak taco? I have...after visiting here! My goodness get the steak taco plate and thank me later. So good. Everything fresh and they give you a nice amount of meat. My husband did the burrito and was very happy. The inside looks like an old church interesting ... but I'm only there for the food. It's a must try!

They have THE BEST covid safety precautions of any restaurant that I've visited . They take temps at the entrance , their staff is well protected and tables are divided with plexi glass enclosures Their food is amazing as always . My go to is the Steak taco and strawberry tamale .

I came here because I have heard great things about the chicken tacos. Of course the time I come they said they are all out of chicken. Their was a fried chicken taco that I order, which I thought was odd because they were out of the normal chicken tacos. Anyway, it was not bad, but it was smashed very thin and then fried so it seemed more like breading than chicken. Their asada was probably the best that I had. It was tough to chew in a few spots, but had the best flavor. It was pretty dry though. The lengua (cow tongue) was not good at all in my opinion, although it was tender. It was large slices, which I haven't seen before, but considering all the meat on the tacos basically hang out, it was not surprising. I have had it at other tacos stands and enjoyed it, but here was a different story. The corn tortillas were tasty and they are lined with refried beans and Mexican rice. The best part of the meal was definitely the salsa they provide with each taco. It is almost like a salsa verde, but with large jalapeños. The atmosphere was clean and the people were nice. If I go back I will try something else and revise my review.

Food: I liked my chile relleno very much. My friend had tamales which I believe she liked as well. Service: I will not blame Covid on the bad service. I was not allowed to come in unless I placed a to go order online, after which I was allowed to come in. They never called my name. After 20 minutes I noticed my food was sitting there. I asked about it and the server finally brought it up and then tried to charge me a second time. They didn't seem organized and I didn't appreciate not being informed my food was ready.

I used to go there till Covid. Now they got you sitting in a plastic enclosure and if I could see germs I could see them all over the plastic

I work in Little Village and stopped in here for lunch with some coworkers. We got there a little early to try to beat the rush, because you can definitely expect there to be a line out the door. They do a pretty good job keeping it running smoothly though. I usually do steak tacos, but was told by my coworkers that the steak plate is also a solid move so I decided to spread my wings and try that. WOW. I mean all of it was sooo good. The rice was amazing, same with the coleslaw. And of course the steak was delicious and the tortillas topped it all off. I had started to build a taco out of the plate, but was advised that isn't the authentic way to eat it, so I ripped the tortilla up and used it as a "spoon"...and yeah, as you may have guessed, it was delicous. Definitely recommend this place. Authentic, cheap, big portions, and it's delicious. Can't beat it!

El Milagro has some of the most authentic delicious tamales I've ever had! You also don't have to worry about them running out like most places that sell tamales. I went here on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. But I just got in line, yes there was a line! This place is extremely popular and for a good reason. I ordered red (pork) and green (chicken) tamales they were delicious and reasonably priced. The tamales were ready to go so I didn't have to wait a long time for my order. The tamales were perfect just the right amount of filling and corn balance. They were soft and moist just how I like them. Overall I recommend and I will return! Beware if you go it will probably be a wait dining in or getting to go but it is well worth the wait!

You can't get anymore authentic than El Milagro. My favorite items to order here are the tacos and tamales. Guisado De Res en Salsa Roja & Bistek Asado Tacos: translated- tender beef stew in special tomato sauce. Secondly, skirt steak. These are the biggest tacos you will find on 26th street. They're huge. If you want everything on it, they will come with rice, beans, salad and whatever kind of taco filling you order. They are messy and you'll probably find yourself eating this with a fork and knife! They are generous with their skirt steak tacos and give two whole grilled strips of meat. The steak isn't chopped up like regular tacos. 1 taco can easily make 2 and can be an entire meal in itself! I personally usually only order 1 and I'm filled up. $3 is an unbeatable price for the amount of food you get! Tamales de Rajas & Tamales de Frijoles: translated- cheese and hot pepper tamales. Secondly, bean tamales. I'm super picky with tamales. These are the only ones I like to eat because the majority of sellers cube their meat and leave all the fat on. They make them this way because it's less time consuming. A properly made tamale should have shredded meat, all fat removed, and thin masa not chunky. I have yet to find a meat tamale worthy of praise in Chicago so, I stick to El Milagros vegetarian tamales that are super delicious! I order 2 and I'm filled. $1 each or a dozen for $12! Their Chile Rellenos- stuffed pepper, are also amazing! Now, here is where the 5th star is given. Besides it's sister on Blue Island, what other Chicago Mexican restaurant can you go to and walk out of with a fresh batch of the best brand homemade tortillas? None! El Milagro tortilla factory/store is right next door and you can take tortillas home for the rest of the week! A one stop shop! In addition they have a private parking lot! Last, served cafeteria style there's plenty of seating and their bathrooms are decent compared to other icky bathrooms on 26th St. Overall, cheap, yummy, and convenient!

This place is the worst when it comes to service I waited 30 minutes for One burrito I don't know who is running their pick up area but they need help it's not even busy in here and still I'm waiting

Dinner for 2 for $12 Came here and saw tacos for $3.75 each so got a few to start. They are massive! Unbelievable value. Guisado de Res - 4.5/5. Mexican beef stew in special tomato sauce. Delicious sauce that has a little kick and a ton of great flavors. Main issue is that there's so much that it is very difficult to eat. Bistek Asado - 4.5/5. Grilled steak taco has great flavor. Well flavored meat. The salsa on the side helps give it that extra kick. Pollo Asado - 3/5. The chicken doesn't have much flavor, especially compared to the others. Works OK with the salsa but wouldn't get again.

The food is good but the service is horrible employees act as if they are doing you a favor of taking your order no courtesy, no attentiveness to your order have gone three times this month and have not gotten my order right. So sad for such a place. Yet so quick to charge you.

I ordered a lengua taco and chicharrones taco and there wasn't a lot of flavor to them and I asked for everything on it. Also, they were not hot, but Luke-warm.

El Milagro in one word... GREAT. I could go on and on and use lots of words, but great sums it all up. This is a Little Village classic and a Chicago staple for great Latino food. It's located on the southwest side of Chicago right off of I-55 and down the street from I-290. It's not the greatest area, not the worst and there is a nice secured parking lot right next door. This place gets very crowded on the weekends. The Tamales are great and will sell out early. Personally I think they have some of the best tacos around. They're very big and also have beans/ rice on them. I'm a big fan of the grilled chicken and grilled Asada, but the milanesa is really good. The tamales are solid and I'm a fan of the chicken and salsa verde. Very good, good great and the salsa tastes great. I would REALLY, REALLY suggest getting some food here. Get yourself some tacos and tamales and your day will get much better!!!

The food is amazing, always. The only negative about this place is a cashier who seems to have worked there a very long time. He's a bigger dark skin man who always and I mean always is in a bad mood and has a very bad attitude. I've looked him dead in the eyes as he rolls his eyes when I stutter or change my mind about an item of my order. You would think since this location is pretty busy you would hire people with great customer service. I've seen him act this way with all types of people (I've lived here all my life and come in at least once every other week). I imagine with the police that come in he's nicer but with regular folk he deff is not. Besides having to get a stink face every time I order and he's there, the place is great.

If you are stuck doing jury duty on California Ave, this place is a must for great tacos! Plus the only other choices close by are Popeyes or Panda Express or the cafeteria-so this was a no brainer. The restaurant was an easy 10 minute walk from the courthouse/thanks Yelp for the recommendation! Also, how can I pass up a restaurant that makes my favorite tortilla chips :) I got the grilled steak tacos and the pork in the green salsa verde. Taste wise, I loved the flavors of the pork and the salsa verde sauce-super tasty with a subtle kick. The steak taco was good and I was surprised to find a big flank steak instead of small slices of steak. It was good, but flavor wise I wish there was more punch to it. Both tacos had the beans and rice inside, so almost like a burrito. One of my fellow jurors got the chicken with mole sauce, he said the sauce was delicious and kind of shocked at how much chicken you-whole chicken piece with the bone haha! Don't try to eat this like a regular taco! He wasn't thrilled with the tamale, it sounded interesting with coconut and raisins. Of course I couldn't leave without buying the tortilla chips at their store next door. They cost a buck less than Mariano's-score! If I'm stuck doing more jury duty this week, I will definitely be back.

I've been here before, and always loved it. This time there was a longer wait time, it's understandable and I liked that they have the separation in the dining area. Your table is in a plexiglass room. It's enclosed with sliding door. Temperature is taken upon entering and social distancing is enforced. The food left me missing the old taste of it. I feel like the steak was a bit dry lacking flavor in the rice beans and the slaw too. Portions are very generous and the price is cheap. The salsa was not very good either. And I hate to say this... but my pineapple water was not made with real pineapple. I'm sure it's made from a powder or syrup, that was maybe the biggest let down. Im sorry, as much as I like to come in and milagro still the best tortillas hands down! Ever!!! I would skip this place and try something new.

Food is good but every time I order to go I'm waiting 30+ minutes for my order! Very annoying! The ladies all have an attitude. The food is never that good for poor service!

If I could give them less than 1 star I would BEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT!!!! Service sucks, food has no flavor, then they gave me the food cold, NEVER WILL I GO BACK!!!

There was a long line, but this was a more enticing jury-duty lunch break destination than Popeye's. The menu was extensive, but I am a taco guy and tried three different varieties. Overall, the food was pretty good and the value favorable, but I found a couple of things to be weird. Number one, the tacos come with rice, beans, and cabbage. This sounds more like a burrito to me. But okay, fine. Number two--and this was really strange--the chicken mole taco contained an entire chicken thigh. The whole thing, bones and all, just plopped right into the tortilla. Quite an unwelcome surprise. So...I'll stick with the more common taquerias that serve a smaller taco with onions and cilantro, and chop up the meat first.

Very nice place and I don't even speak Spanish. The mole is top tier and I'm sure if you know what you're here for that'll satisfy your langua tambien.

Favorite new spot for authentic and cheap Mexican food. We ordered carne asada plates, tamales, the chilaquiles were bomb. It's so packed here hence it's Sunday. We found parking in the lot they provide next to the tortilleria. When you walk in it is a self serve set up, and numbers assigned to tables. The Restaurant was clean, workers were friendly I really suggest trying it here. Plates were filled they are generous with servings. All our plates came with rice, beans and a cabbage salad that we all really wanted a double serving of. It was just that good! The meat is nicely seasoned and not too chewy like most places, it was tender. I liked the chilaquiles but more salsa was needed. Also one of the best horchata drinks I've had in a while too. We had food to take with us and I Will be back again.

The Miracle. Look no further. This will complete you. For one thing, this is the place that makes the most amazing yellow corn tortillas you will buy in your lifetime. I'm from California, and when I consider moving back, I'm not joking when I say I wonder how I will survive without these fluffy, fresh, flavorful tortillas. You can buy them at any grocery store in Chicago for around .40 cents and you should start... today! More importantly, this is the place with the best tacos, I have ever eaten, in my lifetime. A single taco consists of 2 yellow corn tortillas, refried beans, a giant piece of grilled skirt steak, and their signature coleslaw. The salsa they serve is sort of like a marinated pico de gallo; red, spicy, sour, large pieces of pickled veggies. The entire combination is unique and delicious to this particular restaurant. Because I am so into the grilled steak they make, I prefer to order the steak plate; I think the price is like $7.50 right now, which is so outrageously cheap that I don't know how they can make any money at all. The plate comes with a lot of delicious steak, refried beans, rice and tortillas, and salsa on the side. Part of the reason why this place is so special is obvious as soon as you walk in the door; staff laboring over a huge grill, cooking enormous amounts of perfectly seasoned steak all day long. The entire street smells like steak. Yes!!!! And the smell of them making tortillas next door... next level. The tamales are also incredible and I usually get a dozen to go when I am there. You can reheat them for about a week and they make a perfect lunch or snack. I think the rajas one is the best (and one of the best rajas tamales I've had), but you cannot go wrong with the pork or chicken. For about $1 a pop, it is an incredible meal-deal. Best taqueria in Chicago and likely the US and I am not fucking around when I say that! I can't leave the state because they are that good!

Have eaten their tortillas and chips my whole life, pretty cool to actually get to come here. To tell you the truth I was around for jury duty. I went out for lunch, its about 1/2 mile away from court, well worth it not to eat "court" food. It was pretty busy on a tuesday for lunch. Got 2 steak tacos and a chicken tamale. The tacos were huge. Usually when you get tacos they are stingy with the meat, and you end up with a mouthful or tortilla. But here you can almost wrap the steak around the tortilla. The tacos are pretty filling, inside they put beans and rice, next time Im gonna just go with onions and cilantro. The chicken tamale was pretty good, you can tell its fresh. Overall this was pretty good, the food seems authentic, lotta options and large portions!

I want to recommend it! I was very satisfied with everything, the place was very protected and divided with plastic to feel safer because of Covid and I could also appreciate how they make the meals in front of us, all with a mask and careful !!! I definitely give it 4 stars not only for the taste but for the safety in these difficult times

I usually try to come here twice a year to stock up on tamales when i'm not making them myself. El Milagro really has the best around. I ordered 2 avocado tacos, rice and beans and a dozen tamales. I was surprised how much it was for my order. It was $25 for that. It's a hassle to get there and quite far from my home, the area is so busy. I was kinda disappointed in how much i spent. Of course the shining star was the rajas tamales and they were worth the trip, but next time i'll stick to what I came for.

Every time I come here, it seems like half of Little Village is lined up out the door for lunch. Probably eat here 1-2x per month for lunch. Great tamales, delicious steak tacos, and I'm also a huge fan of their beef stew. The prices are bit high for tacos, but they are twice the size of your normal taco. Expect a long wait, during lunch time. Also, they usually sell out of tamales so don't expect any in the evening.

Was not expecting the huge amount of uncut meat thrown into a "taco" seriously a lot of meat isn't a bad thing but those tacos are ridiculous. Salsas weren't good. Mole wasn't good. Those COVID cubicles are so tight.

Ordered 2 dozen tamales de puerco ! Ordered enough to share with neighbors and my nephew. They are different than La Benedicion tamales but just as good in their own way. If your in the area stop in. They have an assortment of tamales, and other authentic Mexican dishes. You won't be disappointed! The taqueria on Blue Island and 21st is just as good also! Muy Sambroso hermanos‼
