The Best Tacos In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"White Center’s popular food truck (with two locations near each other) serves many great tacos, but the beef tongue stands out. The little cubes in each tortilla are like tasty little juice sponges. And each melty bite mixed with nicely contrasting pieces of white onion is a strongly worded note to carnitas and al pastor that they’re officially on notice." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

The Best Food Trucks In Seattle

"Have you ever walked by a Starbucks and then immediately walked by another Starbucks? This scenario plays out at Taqueria La Fondita and Taqueria La Fondita #2, duplicate taco trucks within a two-block radius—only they make horchata and great tacos instead of burnt coffee and cake pops. The adobada is tender, with fatty pieces melting into crispy pork bites, and the carne asada has a smoky crust that seals in the meat’s flavor like a padlock. Go to either location before a walk through White Center Heights Park—both have a couple of picnic tables set up in case you want to relax for a bit." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

The Best Restaurants in White Center

"With all of the changes taking place in White Center, Taqueria La Fondita is a comforting mainstay that serves excellent renditions of the classics: tacos, crunchy taquitos rancheros, generously packed burritos, and enchiladas smothered in sauce and oozing with cheese. The lengua tacos here also hit the spot. As a bonus, many of the orders come out with a piquant combination of a grilled onion and serrano peppers. The horchata offers the right soothing blend of cinnamon and sugar to cool down any overheated taste buds." - Jenise Silva

My adult sons and I eat here every time we are in the neighborhood. We have ordered both the chicken and carne asada tacos. They were excellent! The burritos here are awesome!! Throughout the years we have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

We came here after seeing all the great reviews. It was good food with good flavor but nothing out of this world. The reason I am giving this a two star is because I ordered a burrito which was like $12 and it was mostly filled with rice. I took pictures as I ate it to show. If I’m paying for a burrito I expect some meat in there as the prices are quite high. I was extremely disappointed. My husband said that the chicken tacos and adobada tacos were meh and the asada tacos were good. The horchata was watered down quite a bit but it was still ok. If you go here beware with ordering things which you cannot see inside. They might just fill it up with rice and beans.

Great taco truck with picnic benches for eating. Although some of the meals are a little pricey, all the food was good. Horchata is delicious also. Very good place to stop by if you want some tacos, would go again.

Highly NOT recommend it! Staff I would say is ok. But I got a burrito and the lettuce inside was full with dirt/soil! I look a bite and thought it's a small rock in the rice. I spit it out thinking the second bite will be better, but no luck. Same thing again. As I unfold it and start tasting the rice, figured out it's not the rice but the lettuce wasn't washed and there's dirt in it. Disgusting experience!

I'm from Texas and was skeptical about one of the most highly acclimated Seattle taco spots. Taqueria la Fondita delivered! These are solid tacos by any standard. I understand the love they get. Try the asada and pastor tacos. They're both great choices to explore more traditional styles of street tacos.

I used to come here a lot and this time I came and ordered 2 carnitas and two spicy pork and they gave me two carne and I prob would have ate it but the beef was ice cold and rock hard. So I went up and told them hey this isn’t what I ordered and they argued with me and wouldn’t redo the two tacos. So I tossed the tacos. And just walked away. Not only did they give me the wrong thing and not make it right they gave me something really disgusting. Not to mention in the past I have come here and been severely over charged a few times. The original truck they have is always better but I won’t be back.

Busy busy busy! This place is hopping on a Friday night, but the quality doesn't suffer. The tacos were juicy and flavorful and came with the extra onion and (super) spicy pepper. Service did take a while, but for what you get it's great. The only issue is that the prices on the menu and advertising are inconsistent, so you'll have to make sure youre being charged the better, advertised price.

This is an amazing taco shop. My birria beef tacos were amazing. The drink selection only has 4 drinks, but all 4 are good. There is indoor seating. I recommend this restaurant very much.
