The Best Tacos In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"White Center’s popular food truck (with two locations near each other) serves many great tacos, but the beef tongue stands out. The little cubes in each tortilla are like tasty little juice sponges. And each melty bite mixed with nicely contrasting pieces of white onion is a strongly worded note to carnitas and al pastor that they’re officially on notice." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

The 12 Best Restaurants in White Center - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Have you ever walked by a Starbucks and then immediately walked by another Starbucks? This scenario also plays out at Taqueria La Fondita #1 and Taqueria La Fondita #2, duplicate taco trucks within a two-block radius—only they serve horchata and excellent tacos instead of burnt coffee and cake pops. The adobada is tender, with fatty pieces melting into crispy pork bites, and the carne asada has a strong char that seals in the meat’s flavor like a padlock. Before a walk through White Center Heights Park, hit either location." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente

The Best Restaurants in White Center

"With all of the changes taking place in White Center, Taqueria La Fondita is a comforting mainstay that serves excellent renditions of the classics: tacos, crunchy taquitos rancheros, generously packed burritos, and enchiladas smothered in sauce and oozing with cheese. The lengua tacos here also hit the spot. As a bonus, many of the orders come out with a piquant combination of a grilled onion and serrano peppers. The horchata offers the right soothing blend of cinnamon and sugar to cool down any overheated taste buds." - Jenise Silva

I have came to this location for at least 10 years. Do not order online from this location. They do not read notes. I have been upset many times because they won't add veggies or hot sauce with large orders or any orders. Also there is no place to order more vegetables or hot sauce in the menu. Thats why I give them 3 stars. It would be 5 star if they respected online customers more.

Had an order of sopitos for dinner for the first time at this location, everything was good but when I waved to say bye to the cashier and she saw me, she rolled her eyes and just looked away. There was no other interaction than me ordering and they handling me the food before that, so I don’t know what happened there. The other guy that handled me the food was actually nice and even told me to try their hot sauce with the sopitos.

We came here after seeing all the great reviews. It was good food with good flavor but nothing out of this world. The reason I am giving this a two star is because I ordered a burrito which was like $12 and it was mostly filled with rice. I took pictures as I ate it to show. If I’m paying for a burrito I expect some meat in there as the prices are quite high. I was extremely disappointed. My husband said that the chicken tacos and adobada tacos were meh and the asada tacos were good. The horchata was watered down quite a bit but it was still ok. If you go here beware with ordering things which you cannot see inside. They might just fill it up with rice and beans.

Great taco truck with picnic benches for eating. Although some of the meals are a little pricey, all the food was good. Horchata is delicious also. Very good place to stop by if you want some tacos, would go again.

I'm from Texas and was skeptical about one of the most highly acclimated Seattle taco spots. Taqueria la Fondita delivered! These are solid tacos by any standard. I understand the love they get. Try the asada and pastor tacos. They're both great choices to explore more traditional styles of street tacos.

My adult sons and I eat here every time we are in the neighborhood. We have ordered both the chicken and carne asada tacos. They were excellent! The burritos here are awesome!! Throughout the years we have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

Busy busy busy! This place is hopping on a Friday night, but the quality doesn't suffer. The tacos were juicy and flavorful and came with the extra onion and (super) spicy pepper. Service did take a while, but for what you get it's great. The only issue is that the prices on the menu and advertising are inconsistent, so you'll have to make sure youre being charged the better, advertised price.

Absolutely delicious and cheap. It's funny they spelled it "cheep" in their outside ad, maybe it's a pun. Anyway, great food truck and quick service. I love they give you a grilled onion and pepper with your tacos. I'll be going back for more!
