Acceptable, but by no means outstanding Mexican food. However, it has no business costing as much as it does. With tip/tax the burrito plate was over $20. I’ve been to sit-down restaurants in the Seattle area with free chips/salsa that cost less. I’d probably give 3-4 stars if not for the offensive pricing.

I’ve been here several times now, and while it’s OK for the area, hasn’t blown me away. The meat has usually been dry, the tortillas a little tough, and coming from living in SoCal where taco trucks set a really high bar, it’s hard not to notice the difference. That said, it does satisfy a craving when you’re in White Center and want something quick and casual. The staff is friendly, and it gets the job done, just not quite the kind of spot I’d go out of my way for.

Absolutely astronomical prices for mediocre food. Didn’t get everything I ordered, no garnishes, and the burrito plate was soggy and tiny. I expected way more from this place, which I used to regard highly and recommend to others. Quality and price not worth the stop.

This may not be a regular restaurant, but don't be fooled, their flavors are wonderful! I'm especially fond of their tacos, whose flavors are currently unmatched. I don't know what they're seasoning their meats with, but the tacos I've gotten from other trucks are all bland in comparison, and I travel for work, so I've been to alot of taco trucks in the area and well outside of the area.

Classic tacos! Tried the chicken, carnitas, and carne asada. All were totally delicious!

I'd rate higher, but two of the best items aren't on the menu on the apps, the nachos and the chili relleno, so you have to go in person for those. The chicken tacos are absolute perfection and the bean and cheese burrito is one of my favorites right now. Sadly, it's 2024, and they are still using styrofoam containers. Probably because they are cheap but it is so unhealthy for people and the environment. The hot food melts the styrofoam and it gets in your food. I attached a picture.

The adobada tacos where amazing. The horchata was also really good. I was very let down by the taste of the asada.. seeing as how good the adobada was I had high hopes but it was kinda sad

Adobada tacos were really good, lots of flavor in the meat. I live nearby so I'll be coming by more often.

Not going to lie, I didn't realized that this would be in White Center. As my GPS was navigating me to the best tacos that was still open at 10pm, it seems to be leading me closer and closer to the hood. Now, I'm not denying that the best ethnic food usually comes from the hood, but it's dark and frankly I was afraid to get shot leaving my car at this hour in this neighborhood in White Center. Luckily, there was parking close by and it's so popular that there's a lot of people crowding here at this truck. They have all the classics that your typical taco truck would have except they also have crunchy birria tacos which isn't too common. There's seating with a cover next to it also if you want to eat your food right away. My taco plate meal that consist of 3 street tacos plus rice and beans was like $12. I did wish their red sauce was a tad bit spicier. But for the price and late hour, I can't complain and it seems like a community hit. Used to be really good and cheap! Now, like everything else, the food quality sucks and they started price gouging. $15 for a burrito with no sides and very little meat. Absolutely ridiculous!

This place use to be the best and good value. And now they are serving greasy slop. There was so much grease in my burritos that it dripped out the front, side, and the back of the burritos. Clearly the cooks don't care no more. I won't be back. I wish I had taken pictures. .

Always a line so you know it's always good! Consistently delicious! Saw some new menu items today- the spicy pork is always a family favorite.

My colleagues only told me wonderful things about Taqueria La Fondita, so I had to try it while I was in White Center, an area I hardly ever visit. Taqueria La Fondita is a popular, casual Mexican eatery that operates out of a truck. I visited Taqueria La Fondita #2 after a work event and there were people eating outside of the truck and a small line that kept forming for dinner. The menu featured several different, classic items that you'd expect from a Mexican eatery, and they had specials like a burrito for $3 and a taco plate with a drink for less than $11. I ordered the carne asada plate, two fish tacos, a chicken burrito and three adobada tacos plate. I should disclaim that I got all of this food was for takeout, so had to trek back to Bellevue, which takes half an hour from White Center without traffic. Therefore, the food wasn't as good as it would be had it be eaten soon after it was prepared. However, it was still good. My partner liked his carne asada, but mentioned that it's no different than other casual, Mexican spots that we get takeout from in Bellevue. The fish tacos were small, but good. The adobada tacos plate was standard, with the seasoned, spicy pork being the best part. I had the $3 burrito special that's smaller than a normal burrito the following day, and thought it was meh. I can see why it was only $3 as the filling didn't include much meat, but was mostly rice. Was it the best Mexican food around town as some of my colleagues claimed it to be? I don't think so. I can see why peeps flock to this truck, as the food was solid, for the most part. But I would most certainly not drive out to White Center to eat here.

This is THE Go-To food truck in the West Seattle area (besides the other one near Lincoln Park). If you're new to the area and want good tacos, come here and Only Here. Tortillas are good, meat is good, toppings are good, sauce is good (always ask for extra green sauce!) and the gem is the cooked onion. It's just so sweet and adds so much. Delicious! There is a small outdoor eating area next to the truck, and it is covered. Definitely go!

We are big Fondita fans in our household! Service is always super quick and easy! Food is delicious! We are partial to the mullitas--they hit every time. The carnitas plate is a wild amount of protein for the price, you can get a few meals out of it! Tacos, so good. Burritos. Same. 10/10 recommend

3.5 stars We came here due to all the high reviews and because we had other plans in the White Center area. This place has multiple food trucks of the same name in the same general area (we saw one a little south of this location). It seems the one that people go to is next to the Best Roasted Corn Stand food truck which is where we went. I ordered both asada and adobada tacos ($2.47 each). I thought the adobada was just okay and not as red or flavorful as other ones I've had elsewhere. I liked the asada better as it had more flavor. The green and red salsas that came with the tacos were not super flavorful or spicy on their own but eating the pepper that came with the plate helped. I thought it could've used more of the onions and cilantro toppings too. There's street parking in the area and covered seating to eat your food. The food came out quick but overall was just okay.

Way way way too expensive for a Mexican food truck now. I remember food were affordable and good there, but went last Friday, shocked about the price raise, and the tacos tasted blend and flavorless. Lady on the register could be little more friendly as well. This was my last time there. Also the Chimichanga had no sour cream with it. Seems they charge now for everything extra! A scoop of sour cream, expensive, even it is still pictured on their menu, but no, it's an ad-on now. Muy decepcionante!

Here's the secret: Seattle's BEST taco truck and mexican food! It doesn't have the nicest ambiance, but this is my fav place to pick up mexican food. The carne asada is well seasoned, and love all their carne asada tacos/burritos/mulitas -- you name it! I would dare to say it rivals the mexican taco trucks in LA. Service is always fast and friendly! The best part -- the corn stand is next door.

Never disappoints. Carnitas Tacos and rice and beans. I've had the chicken and steak tacos as well AMAZING. Plus the horchata is home made and not that crap you buy at the grocery store. Free sauce and they never skimp on onions and veggies

Really delicious tacos and horchata! The flavor just brings me back to when I used to live in LA. Moving to Seattle, I never thought I'd find really good and authentic street tacos but I'm so happy this was only a 20-minute drive from where I live. Parking isn't too difficult to find as the truck is situated in a parking lot, with plazas full of businesses surrounding it. I guess nowadays you would have to request radishes and limes with the tacos. Ours didn't come with it but the salsas worked to add a little acidity to it. A great experience overall - not too long of a wait, authentic food, and inexpensive for something so delicious.

We love this place ... think last summer alone we'd gone several times. It's got a cool outdoor patio outback. We particularly love the tequila selection & love all the food. Some of of the items are way too spicy for me, but they do a whole range of spiciness on the various menu options, so they can accommodate your preferences. we've gone there in groups or just as a couple ... every single time it's been a wonderful, festive kind of experience . I think it's a place that everyone should at least try once, if not go regular like we do

When I moved back to Seattle in 2010, after living in LA for 15 years... the idea that there was a legit taco truck in Seattle was inconceivable. But my daughter who went to school in LA insisted that it was the real deal... And it IS!!! I would hold La Fondita up against any Taco Truck in LA... Their Adobada is excellent, Carnitas is tasty and they have great salsa! Plus they are open until 11PM!!!

My colleagues call this "the good taco truck". We work nearby and we're able to get our food within 5ish minutes of ordering. You can commit to a combo or order via sides, cheaper to do it via combo but when you're indecisive...it's nice to just get it all. Food is solid and that's really all there is too it.

This taco truck is the heart of White Center, literally. It's got a gravitational pull for everything that is weird, wild and every day living in Rat City. I enjoy seeing my street corners active, and food trucks are such a positive way to do that. I love the carnitas, taquitos and tacos here. Extra yummy when they remember to include some pickled veg with your order. My only wish for this truck is that they would add some homemade tortilla chips to the menu (or a decent facsimile). This is the little taco truck that does!

Typical taco truck that's good by Seattle standards. I ordered an asada burrito and an adobada taco that came out to about $17. The burrito and taco were both smaller than I expected. My favorite part of the taco was the tortilla, which was grilled and crispy around the edges. The adobada was a bit tough. The burrito was satisfying. Asada, rice, beans, guac, sour cream. None of the ingredients were amazing but they were good altogether. The salsas were tasty and added a lot to the burrito as well. There's a covered seating area if you want to stay and eat. I made a pigeon friend while I was there. I think it was a regular. All in all, I'd return if I was in the area and craving a burrito.

I've been coming here several times a month (or a few times a week, depending) since I moved to the area in 2019 and it has been consistently fantastic. The food is always great, the service is always quick and the prices are always good.

Had a torta and sopes. They were both really well done and came out fast. Sopes were crispy and fresh and not too thick. Torta came a little squished but taste was great. Salsas were alright, not much flavor/spice to it. Would come again!

The tacos has consistent flavor and everything was so great. The Taco Plate was so satisfying and the portions were very generous. Great meat, so tender and well-cooked. The veggies was fresh. The salsa was one of the best too. I like to stop by here for tacos. Friendly staff!

Great food good service. And it was fast. Everybody was really nice and there wasn't too big of a lying, so yeah, you should go there.

If you have a craving for street tacos and you are near White Center, this taco truck hits the spot. They have a pretty full menu so you can find whatever you might be craving. I got the plate of 5 tacos (got 3 asadas and 2 lengua). I was disappointed that she mentioned an extra charge for lengua - I'm totally up for paying extra, but I was disappointed it wasn't marked on the menu. The tacos were solid and hit the spot. I'd totally spot by again if I was craving tacos. But if I had extra time, I would make my way to Tacos Chukis personally.

Love this place. Over the last 3 years I have eaten here more than 30 times while working in the area. They never disappoint. Just had the Quesa Birria Tacos and they were phenomenal. If your in the area and hungry, don't miss out.

It is what it is. Good solid tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, quick. Nice people. You can eat at picnic tables, with an enclosure at the SW 98th and 15th SW location.

If you want to spend $13 on a rice burrito, then this is your place! There was 1 part meat to 4 parts rice... It was almost completely rice, no discernable taste of meat at all.. Then they charge you extra for guacamole sauce and do not have pico de Gallo. I was just in Mexico and they put more meat in a $2 taco then they do for a $15 burrito here - yep $15 after you pay for guacamole, something that you get as much of as you want in Mexico for no extra charge. Mexican food just sucks here and it's super expensive for what you get. Will not be coming back, in fact I've started making my own burritos, they are so much bett iner and I'm just a gringo, that says a lot!

This place used to be amazing. Now almost every time I come here I'm disappointed. I've been getting asada burritos from this truck for years and over the last couple years there's been an obvious decline. The majority of burritos I've gotten recently are 90% rice and dried out steak. I hope the quality returns back to the way it used to be :(

Delicious, hearty, authentic Mexican food. Got 4 tacos ($7.90) and a burrito plate ($9). The burrito plate came with guacamole and sour cream and was DROWNING in cheese which I loved. Rice and beans were absolutely delicious. My only qualm is the meat in the burrito was just alright and tougher than the taco meat. It's a food truck on the side of the road but it has a couple outdoor tables in a metal shed. GREAT portions. Food came out quickly.

This is hands down the best taqueria truck in the Seattle area. They make everything reasonably good. You could probably find other spots that can make what you're looking for very similar or even better, but you just gotta find them. If you're like me who grew up eating the standard stuff you can find good Mexican food in Seattle. If you are Mexican from Mexico then sorry.

Crazy delicious at amazing prices! I loved this place so much when I first tried it that I came back the very next day for another four tacos! Most items on their menu are under $10. I got the 4 and 5 taco plates with asada, birria, spicy pork, and lengua. All the meats were delicious, but I MUST shout out the asada and lengua. Asada (steak) is so crispy, and lengua (beef tongue) is so soft and melt-in-your-mouth - the perfect pairing. Some tips: ask for the ~free~ combo to get a drink and the pickled onions/carrots/radishes. And get the horchata, too!

Not sure why this place is rated so darn high. Though we are and mostly enjoyed the tacos we got, they weren't amazing. The carnitas tacos were fine, but the meat was a little chunky, and the flavors were a little lacking. The kids quesadilla was basically 1/4 of a quesadilla, with rice and beans. Could've used more quesadilla. Wouldn't likely try again, would rather search out other tacos.

Overpriced. Used to be great food and service. Now it's just average. The portions are fine - but not worth the price. Especially in Georgetown.

This is the best closest thing I'll get to SoCal tacos from LA/San Diego. My go to tacos are the Carne Asada and Carnitas. They're topped with cilantro & diced onions with sauce on the side. Where can you get 4 tacos and an horchata for less than $10?! What a deal. This'll be my go to taco spot in Seattle, WA. I'll be back! The taco truck takes both cash & card. There's plenty of street parking available.

Best tacos I've had in the states so far! We tried the 4 taco plate for $8: Lengua, Cabeza, Al Pastor, and Carne Asada. All were well seasoned and juicy. The green salsa was really fresh and bright. I like how the Tacos were made to order, the menu was clear and reasonably priced, the service was efficient, and the restaurant accepted credit cards! When I do return to Seattle, this will be my first stop again after getting off the plane!

They're going to charge you and extra $2 for your drink even thought the price is whited out on the menu and she tried to argue it wasn't a can when the sign clearly says "can drink, or Mexican drink" the food was pretty mid and not hardly seasoned at all for authentic Mexican food. May come back for to decent price, but there are plenty of other taco trucks that do better for similar prices and don't lie about their prices on their menu with cheap white out stickers that don't fully cover the charge they charge you ‍

Great sized portions, friendly people and great food! I ordered the carnitas burrito plate and it was fantastic. No frills and great meat, rice and beans. Comes with sour cream and guacamole.

Good food quickly. A regular stop for our fam. Never had a bad meal and we've tried pretty much everything.

A White Center gem. I've only had the tacos so far, and they are absolutely fantastic and cheaply priced compared to their counterparts in bougier parts of Seattle. I've sampled a variety of the meats here, and my favorite is probably the carnitas (fried pork) and adobada (spicy pork) tacos. I like that they come with a side of sauce, a perfectly grilled whole half of onion, and of course double-layered corn tortilla holding the meat. My friend got one of the tostada dishes, which came with a generous helping of avocado - she enjoyed the dish a lot too. Oh, and right next to it is another truck serving incredible esquites and desserts of the Mangonada variety.

I was so happy to have found a great taco truck like this during my errand running. I went to La Fondita out of no where looking for fast good food to grab and go. I was able to order quickly, but after my order this place had a huge line the entire time I was there and to me this is a very good sign! While I waited for my turn at the truck's delicacies I watch more and more workers come up and get in line for lunch breaks. They had all kinds of specials posted on the walls. there was plenty of outside seating and they gave me two types of hot sauce with my tacos! I really enjoyed that! I prefer verde, but the red was good too! There was lots of meat on my tacos and they included this 1/2 roasted white onion that was a really tasty accompaniment. I have nothing negative to say about the food at all! Fair prices! Good food! Fast orders! I'll definitely be back to try something else! See you next time La Fonditas!

Food quality definitely toke a turn over the years and the special burrito that was once 2.80 is now around 4 dollars and they add whole pieces of avocados instead of guac in your burrito sour cream almost always tastes like it's expired or some the workers service is quick because they don't even properly make the burrito with love and it's almost always coming apart like they just lazy and want to get your money they been slacking lately might just stick to Taco Bell smh thumbs down for sure

Before the truck got super hyped it was literally the best place to get Mexican food. It's still really good, but I feel like the quality isn't the same. I like to get the chimichanga and burrito since it's fills you up for a good price. The service is good fast and easy. Although I ordered the horchata and it taste really watery compared to other places.

Winter blues? Warm up with some Al Pastor tacos! Brave the cold winter winds for some of the best tacos on the block. My only complaint is there is not enough meat in the tacos for $2.90 each. The Al pastor had maybe 12 little meat cubes that were smothered in onions. I think there were more onions than meat. The flavors are vibrant. I wish I took some photos before eating everything in the car. Same for the fish tacos, not enough meat. The special burrito for $1.99 was the perfect size. The beans and rice were super tasty, with the chicken. But same issue, not enough meat. I could barely find any chicken.

SO FRIENDLY, SO FAST, & SO FREAKING GOOD! What more can you ask from a taco truck? Smack dab in the middle of white center, this truck always has a line or crowd. I also always see people posting this truck on social media. This afternoon I saw less than 3 people there for the first time so, figured it was my turn to see what the hype is. Oh Em Gee! Ordered the taco plate special- 3 tacos (I chose pork) with rice, beans, and a pop. It's all about the tacos, these ones were fresh and legit. The rice and beans is usually whatever- comparable- from each Mexican spot. Right? But not here! These ones are laced with magic. There's something going on... I need more rice and beans! I literally had to call my boyfriend about them. My only complaint is I literally need more. Lol I'm sure I/we'll be back.... THIS WEEK.
