Taqueria Las Bonitas

I’ve ordered the steak torta a few times. It’s very filling and the salsas add good flavor. My only gripe is the bread is not toasted, so by the time I take my first bite, it’s really soggy. If it was toasted, it would be 5 stars!

11/10 Amazing experience from the start, I was greeted by Eric who was very friendly when ordering the tacos. He informed me that the corn tortillas Were made in house, typically, I don’t like corn, but since they were made in house, I had to try them and I was very very pleasantly surprised. I for once enjoyed corn tortillas and by far the best I’ve ever had. Out of the five meats, I tried the carnitas was definitely my favorite and they have a great salsa Verde and salsa Rojo. Good prices, great atmosphere, amazing food. Check them out!

This is the place to go for Mexican food. Very well priced, food is delicious. I have been a return customer several times now and have yet to be disappointed by anything so far including pupusas, Mexican tacos, and their torta. Everything tastes fresh, cooked to perfection, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Awesome spot for a casual lunch or dinner.

The in-house hand made corn tortillas elevates the tacos! Meats were cooked to order, really good tacos are served here! Their beef pozole soup was incredibly wonderful. Nicely seasoned broth with all sorts of tender beef cuts and fatty pieces.

If you are looking for authentic, fresh, and great taste mexican food, this is the place to go. Their tortillas are freshly hand-made at the moment, prices are fair, staff is super friendly and the dishes are fantastic, from the meat, the garnish, the sauce etc. sooooo good... don't sleep on the house cheese made by them too! My favorite for quesadillas and other dishes. 💯 percent recommended 👌.

Muy Rico! Being a frequent traveler to San Antonio, TX, I have given up trying to find good, cheap TexMex food, like what I find in SA. While my $15 carnitas plate wasn't cheap, the meat was very well prepared and tasty and a large enough portion to make 3 overstuffed tacos. The rice and beans were good as well. My wife went a la carte and had an Al Pastor Mexican taco and a chicken gordita, both of which she said were very tasty. It is also nice that they have a weekend special, 3 carnitas tacos for the price of 2. We will definitely return to try other menu items. On a side note, it was nice that the young man, who prepared the food, came out to insure everything was to our satisfaction. Won't be returning to the overly priced Acapulco, nearby, after they served us queso which was as thin as water and when I brought it to their attention, they just said they were aware. Neither will we be returning to the also overly priced El Vaquero further up 23, when on our last visit, they served us burnt tostada chips and when I brought it to their attention, they just said they were aware.

Came in for lunch on a whim today and everything was great. Tacos were fresh and hot and the service was excellent.

Literally just walked into this restaurant and seen that every single item on the wall menu has the prices blocked out. All the prices are blocked out on the menu as well. The non English speaking lady behind the counter seemed to be making fun of me with the female cashier as I expressed my discontent and frustration with this. As I walked out they made sure to laugh louder, maybe to get a reaction from me. I never looked back at them. In these end times scoffers and mockers are abundant. It's a spiritual battle, deeper than most seem to understand. I'm praying for them. They're behavior showed me what I needed to know. If they don't care about their customers and choose to laugh at those they bring them business, they may not be in business much longer. Many restaurants have been in that same building and didn't last long. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Either way there's nothing special about the menu items there, many better places to go where they don't make fun of you for wanting to see the prices to the items they're selling. It's America, that's how we operate here. This isn't an upscale, fine dining establishment, it's one of many, no ingenuity, nothing new or different. Chipotle is walking distance away.

Nice little taco place. I got the Mexican tacos and the American tacos. Both were excellent. Great service and authentic Mexican food that was priced right. Lots of local Mexican patrons eating for lunch here. I see why!

I hate to be the downer here, but my meal a few months ago did not blow me away. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it somehow tasted like absolutely nothing. I wasn't getting any salt or flavor from the cheese or the chicken. I will say the amount of chicken inside was very generous which was nice, but it definitely wasn't seasoned enough. We also ordered two cheese pupusas and were given bean pupusas. I recognize that they may specialize more in the traditional items than something like a quesadilla, but I also think something that simple should still be flavorful. I would like to return and try some other items and will update my review as needed.

We went in expecting La Joya's, not knowing there was a new spot in town, so it's not fair to compare the two. We ordered the steak tacos, the carnitas tacos, and cheese pupusas. Everything was clearly cooked to order and we'll definitely be back for the pupusas!

My sis is now finally moved in from the west coast. And.. she's finally getting a little bit more comfortable with Columbus. Yes, finally. We reunited after more than a decade. It's been rough...when does life NEVER get tough? It's always... tough But like the handmade tortillas and the labor of pressing these by hand... in the end... there's Love. Rough little edges. You will miss it when you get up to leave: "I should have ordered... two more,no-- three more." I know, I know... you think it's corny and 'why the heck is she talking about Love?' Two words. COMA PUPUSAS. Yes, I'm excusing myself with a little bit of informal slang because español is not my first language, mmmk? Esto es amor. I mean, who could pass up curtido--- There's. Love. In. This. Food. And by the way... they turned the music down. I blame Slapsy's. I think they are to blame for the loud music (skimmed from a google review in passing). So we sit here and we were -supposed- to do a hybrid taco and sushi night (a little Mexi here... a little nigiri there) but... we decided to stay... right here! That's right. We are going to stay -right here- and do a double hitter of two rounds of these tacos and pupusas. Maybe even one more round of pupusas. Because when the going gets tough... we decide to Love... more. And guess what.. we are in the company of family. Not just ours. But another one too. Remember that. Nuestra familia. Yes, this is a family run place. Oh, last thing. This place is El Salvadoriano and Mexicano.

Ordered several things off the menu and was absolutely amazing! Closest thing to my parents cooking! Customer service was amazing. Portion sizes were great. Carnitas was 10/10 the favorite item we ordered. Do not hesitate to order from here! Love it.

Food is delicious and very authentic. We had assorted Mexican Tacos ( corn tortillas ) and Pupusas. Service is friendly and attentive. New owners just opened this business with about same menu as the previous ones.

Nice visit! I had a Huarache of Barbacoa de Borego, which is twice the size of a tostada and on a thicker tortilla(like a gordita). It was loaded with meat and would have been a meal in itself, however I also ordered a Tinga Tostada of chicken, which had an even better flavor. Jarritos mango soda was a nice addition. I will definitely be back to try another menu item.

The al pastor tacos from here are a must before going to see a movie next door! Staff is very friendly. Restaurant is never too loud.

This place is amazing!! The Al pastor tacos were some of the best I've ever had, the service was fast and friendly and everything is reasonably priced!
