I’m super picky when it comes to street tacos but these are proper! So authentic and the atmosphere takes me back. I highly recommend this spot, so delicious!

If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Mexico that packs bold flavors and street taco vibes, this local gem has you covered! Their breakfast burritos are an absolute must-try. Cooked to perfection on the griddle, they’re stuffed with crispy bacon, savory chorizo, gooey cheese, hearty beans, and a fresh burst of onions and cilantro. Each bite feels like a love letter to breakfast, with a perfect balance of smoky, spicy, and cheesy goodness that will make your morning complete. But let’s talk about those asada tacos – these little street-style wonders are the real deal. The asada is perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to smoky perfection. Wrapped in a soft homemade tortilla, topped with the classic fresh cilantro and onions, each taco is an explosion of flavor that’ll transport you straight to the streets of Mexico. Simple, yes, but sometimes simplicity is where the magic happens. This spot doesn’t just serve food; it serves a taste of home – authentic, flavorful, and made with love. If you’re after an experience that feels like you’re eating in a little corner of Mexico, this taco shop is where it’s at.

Taqueria Mi Casita is a hidden gem! The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Their tacos are some of the best I’ve had—perfectly seasoned meat, fresh tortillas, and delicious toppings. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. Whether you're craving tacos, burritos, or a hearty plate of carne asada, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Mexican food in a friendly atmosphere!

I've moved here to AZ 3 years ago and I've been coming here since, the people who run this place are amazing, kind hearted and hard working people. When they are busy and have a line they work so fast to get through to help everyone. Everyone comes out to help with the line. They've seen me before pregnancy, during and after. They make me feel like family every time I walk through the door. Makes me feel remembered since I don't go very often since it's not in my area. Totally worth stopping in and eating. They also have high chair for little ones.

Google
Love coming to this lil place, the people are always so friendly, it's clean, and the food is absolutely tremendous!!

Google
The tacos at this place are amazing. The only thing that I would like different about it is a flour tortilla option. Other than that the El Pastor is awesome. Plenty of flavor in it. The polo is awesome too. I love it that they give you radishes and limes for your tacos. The melon drink is off the charts and I would suggest to anybody to go here and enjoy some tacos. As I can see with a line, all the other food is good too have not tried The other food, with a huge line all the time there it must be good, but I will in the future, I’d highly suggest them to. Please have a flower tortilla option for their tacos.. this has become a regular hotspot for me Authentic Mexican cuisine.

Google
The tacos were terrible no seasoning so try I couldn’t even eat the asada I spit it out the lengua was dry and tough . The al pastor was okay . Overall a bad experience don’t waste your money here

Yelp
Wow! I loved this Lil hole in the wall place, and apparently so did half of Chandler. This place was packed on a Saturday morning! I ordered their menudo, cabeza tacos, lengua tacos, carne asada tacos, Al pastor tacos, buche tacos and all of them were FIRE! Now I see why the line was out the door! So happy this place was shared with me. Customer service was great too, the owner seems to really care about his patrons. He walked around fist bumping a ton of people and making small talk. It was very pleasant watching the interactions.

Yelp
Tacos de asada, Tortillas were dry and needed more oil on the fry, the asada was bland. Aqua de Jaimaica I personally enjoy el ranchos Aqua de jaimaica better. The tables were dirtry no one cleaned them. Salsita I like my salsa chilled, and they were warm. IDK I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Be prepared with your order in mind! The chefs on the line for Taqueria mi Casita will ask you exactly how you would like your order. They will customize everything! I was surprised at how thorough they were especially when they asked me if I wanted or didn't want something. They're also pretty upfront and will let you know what's good value. For example, rice and beans on the side are no extra cost for the quesadilla. It can be a little chaotic when ordering food, but it's fast. When my partner and I had gone, it was pretty clean inside. For drinks, we got the horchata and jamaica. The horchata was light, but in a really good way. It was refreshing and hit the spot with my meal. We're not sure if we were given the wrong drink or if this is how they make their jamaica, but it largely tasted of grape juice. We prefer ours more hibiscus forward without too many extra add-ins. It's unique and stands out from other jamaicas we've tried though. Their tortillas are so good! I mostly liked my quesadilla except I regret agreeing to add salsa to it directly. It made it a bit soggy. I would recommend asking for salsa on the side. Speaking of salsa, their salsa verde definitely has more of a kick for anyone who's a bit more sensitive to spicy. My partner got the tacos and mostly enjoyed them, but he also mentioned that he felt that they didn't necessarily stand out from other tacos we've had in the past. He really enjoyed the quesadilla I got though.

Yelp
We were out on the town after a late Saturday night in Chandler and needed some dinner. My daughter and her boyfriend have come to the spot before and she recommended it. She was talking about the decorations before we got there and when we walked in, it was fun to see everything she had been describing. The walls are lined with decorative bottles and they are also in hutches. You won't get bored while waiting for your food. There was quite a line when we got here (a good sign) around 9:30 PM and it moved quickly. The servers were really friendly and they were busy cleaning tables as customers left and new customer sat down. We ordered: - Bottle of Gatorade - Bottle of Water - Bottle of Mexican Coke - Chicken Quesadilla - Asada Burro x3 - Street Tacos (Asada, Pollo, Carnitas) Everything was so delicious! This is authentic Mexican food at great prices. The portions are good. This is a solid, affordable meal that will make you happy. If we're ever down in the area again, I'll be coming back here! I always know we're in a good spot if I find myself saying this taste like something we would cook at home. That's how I felt here. Fresh comfort food all the way. My daughter did mention that this was the best burrito she has had yet in Arizona. There is a lot of takeout and delivery happening here as well. They seem to have the system down pat and everything runs smoothly. There's a gender, neutral restroom towards the back for customers.

Yelp
This is a solid place to get a burrito. I got the California burrito for $15 and it was stuffed to the brim! I was a little disappointed in the guacamole here- I think it's watered down/can't tell if it was in the burrito. But the size was so big I probably ate 1/3 and was stuffed! The service was quick however there was a long line! The flan was my favorite. It didn't taste like typical flan and more like a cheesecake.

Yelp
Ordered the enchiladas to go. Watched them assemble the dish in front of me in a styrofoam container then put it in the microwave for a minute to melt the cheese. The styrofoam melted of course, leeching Styrene, a carcinogen, into my meal. If you've ordered enchiladas to go from here, you've likely been exposed to the same. Also, the guac was like puréed, watered down avocado pudding.

Yelp
I've been here before, but it was a couple of years ago. One of my coworkers suggested it, so I thought I would give it another try! I got the three taco plate. You can mix the tacos so I got two carna asada tacos and one shredded beef. The flavors were pretty good but I was expecting a little more spice! I got the carna asada burritos for my hubby and he said it was just alright. Over all, not a bad place! I'll probably go again.
google avatar

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good, though not exactly what I was looking for. I asked for Al pastor, but believe I got carne asada. I would have gone back up to the counter to check, but had just walked in before the 5pm rush. I figure, I'll go back another time to try the tinga and al pastor tacos.

Yelp
If you are looking for delicious food with great prices, I'd highly recommend stopping in. This is great as a weekly takeout spot, as your bring-the-family spot, or affordable date night. The service was great and everyone is friendly. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos with no onion and a bean and cheese burrito for the kids. The red sauce had perfect flavor and the tacos came with radishes and limes.

Yelp
Mexican food is my husband's favorite food. He found this restaurant on Yelp. My husband ordered a Cabesa and Lingua Taco with All the fixings! He loved it! I ordered the Menudo Cho pan to share with my husband. It came with a burrito size tortilla and refried bean taco. Such a huge bowl! The service was outstanding! There's someone who cooks that takes the order and another person at the register that rang us up! While eating I noticed that the one who cooks and rings up the order trade off with other workers. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and kind as we do not speak Spanish. One worker took our dirty dishes and my husband told him how excellent everything was. He said they've been in business for 20 years We're visiting from California and my husband wished he lived here because he would be here all the time!

gianni g.

Yelp
The food is genuinely extremely good !!!! Everyone is very polite and welcoming. Carnitas nachos :)

Joshua P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here. The attitudes of everyone working was great. The service was nice. The overall ambiance gave a great Mexican vibe. The food was very good and a great price as well.

Yelp
The tacos were soooo delicious!! The meats were so flavorful and they give you a good amount! I really liked the onions toppings as well. Will definitely want to come back and try other menu items.

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place... been coming here for years since it was a smaller little hole in the wall when they only had like 5 tables in the place..They've since expanded and has plenty of seating. Some of the best authentic Mexican food I've found locally. Fresh tortillas warmed on la plancha. Meats seasoned very well... perfect salsas to complement... chile on the side if you need extra spice! But really, what keeps me coming back are the people working here. Pretty sure it's a family run place.. the same guy has been working the grill all these years. Always welcoming with a smiling face. The ladies in the place are as sweet as can be and are willing to accommodate just about anything if you ask. Very kind and patient people... Businesses like these need our support more than ever. Will happily continue to spend my money here over any other place in the area. Thank you mi casita!

Yelp
So there I was...sitting in a meeting and perusing through Yelp because all I could think about was food and I had dinner plans to figure out. I saw this place pop up that I book marked awhile back and decided tonight was the night. I gotta say....tonight was a good night :) This place has all the flare and is completely decked out from floor to ceiling with unique decor. The staff is uber friendly and amazing! There's inside and outside seating as well and plenty of it. I went with my fav: Bean & Cheese Burrito ($5) and added a Carna Asada Taco ($2)! The bean and cheese was huge and perfect and the taco was delicious! Good food and low cost? This place is a no brainer!! My friend got the breakfast burrito and loved it as well. Definitely a new favorite spot for the list. On a scale of 1 - 10, don't pass this place up! I'm definitely going back again soon!

Yelp
I went a Friday during lunch time. The food was good! They really mince the carne asada! Burritos are a good size and delish! Conveniently located in the heart of Chandler. You can tell most people who go there are regulars; families and people who work in the area. Would be worth trying again. Maybe tacos next time. Decorated everywhere, with Mexican culture.

Yelp
I was starting to get hangry in a way only Mexican food could fix. I was NOT disappointed! We ordered the verde enchiladas with steak, two beef tongue tacos, and a California burrito with steak. We absolutely demolished everything. I'm not a massive burrito gal but this California burrito was hands down my favorite burrito I've ever had. RIP to my husband who had to give me a few bites. But it evened out because he had some of my enchiladas. The steak was wonderful. The pico was absolutely bomb- I'd recommend asking for extra if you're a fan of that. We do wish there was slightly more flavor throughout the whole burrito/enchilada. We have a high spice tolerances and so we could have done with more, but we know that's not everyone's favorite. Service was friendly, but definitely do not bring anyone who is overstimulated easily. Yelling of orders, clanging, and a lot to look at visually. Ambiance is a little hectic. Was it worth it? Yes. Very satisfying and delicious!

Yelp
Pretty good food. Very authentic. I say this is a 3 stars sort of way. If you wanna feel like your eating Mexican food in the middle of Mexico city, then this is good. But hey, we're not in Mexico, so tone it back for our gringoness! Ha ha. Horchata is good. Street tacos were so so. Carne esada burrito enchilada style, shoot! Spicey. Sweating to the spice! Ha ha. Good luck!

Kelly B.

Yelp
Excellent tacos! My family loves Mi Casita. Everything we tried has been delicious (burritos, quesadillas and nachos), but the tacos are the best! Highly recommend
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
This place was a nice local find close to my house. The tacos were good and they had a nice variety of options on the menu. The ambiance is laid back and casual (you order at the counter and can take it to go or eat at one of the tables there. There is a decent amount of seating inside and the decorations are cool. The food came out really quickly. If you have allergies, I wouldn't recommend this place. The toppings were all kind of mixed together on the counter and the workers grabbed all the different toppings straight from their hands (they were wearing gloves).
google avatar

Lindsay M.

Yelp
Best tacos I've had in Arizona. I got the carne asada taco plate. The tacos were filled with flavor and not greasy. Rice and beans were also fantastic. Quick service. Will go back asap.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Incredibly good burritos with amazing tortillas-- a true Southwestern gem. Lots of locals who speak Spanish; my husband and I were caught up in the swiftness of ordering. It was fun with lots of energy! I got a fish enchilada plate and my husband got a fish burrito. My plate was good but the thing to get here is the burritos for sure. And I'd say meat probably better than the fish which was pre-fried already. They microwaved my plate which I thought was a little weird but fine! I'd absolutely come back but focus on the burritos. Service friendly and nice!
google avatar

Sarah O.

Yelp
This used to be our tried and true never fail burrito spot for breakfast/lunch and dinner. I doubt the owners look at these reviews but to say I'm not a fan of the new ladies they have working there would be saying the absolute least. My husband always gets me a carne/chicken burrito with sour cream, cheese, onions, cilantro beans, rice AND enchilada sauce inside the burrito. Not Outside/wet. Because my husband doesn't speak Spanish i don't think they comprehended a word he said. Because they charged him a bogus amount and our burrito wasn't anything correct. Added pico de gallo which my husband absolutely HATES with a passion. And zero enchilada sauce. Then they tried to add guacamole when we didn't ask for any. And to top it off for two burritos they charged us a WHOPPING 36 dollars and some change. The absolute most expensive burritos we have ever purchased. Damn bear 20 dollar per burrito. I can tell you we won't be going back for a long time which is a shame because we have been coming to this place for well over 14+ years. Just lost us a loyal goers. Last but not least we never used to have issues with their food but man...both my husband and i were dying after eating the burritos. Another reason not to go. Probably not up to code.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by all the staff. It's such a happy ambiance. The food is excellent. It taste like you're getting true Mexican food. The parking is right in front of business. Very convenient. I highly recommend going there.
google avatar

Chris R.

Yelp
California burrito was on point and big as my head!! Awesome vibes to boot...glad I finally stopped in.
google avatar

Dawn M.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place for all your breakfast, lunch and dinner plans. I came here mid morning and picked up a carne asada burrito which came with refried beans, Spanish rice, cilantro, onions and huge portions of the carne asada. They also make tje burrito right in front of you. This burrito was big enough to share with a second person! I was only able to eat 2/3 of it. So much flavor in every bite. I only wished I added an egg to it! I got mine to go but they do offer inside seating. The staff were great and friendly. I'd come back again!
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
Not too bad. I like that they make the burrito right in front of you and you get to pick what you want on it. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Nice family atmosphere.
google avatar

Han W.

Yelp
Always good food here. Everything was great. Don't read into the pics as I asked for the topping separately so it doesn't look as good.
google avatar

Lauren ..

Yelp
The tacos were so delicious and authentic! They weren't too greasy like other tacos al pastor I've had, they were perfect. The meat and vegetables were tender and fresh. The flan was good, very soft, however the caramel was a bit more liquid than I expected but still tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
For the second time, I tried to go to Tacos Chiwas Chandler and it was closed during business hours. *sigh* So we saw this nearby with high ratings! Great! When you walk in, it seems very festive! There's music and some donkey statues and a lot to look at. We ordered carne asada tacos, carnitas tacos, chips & salsa, and a side of guacamole. We got just the salsa that came with the tacos, plus a plate of chips. When I tried to order guacamole again - which is listed as 3.50 on the menu - I got a tiny ramekin of guac salsa for $0.85. OK, guacamole is not happening, and I guess the taco salsas are the only salsas we are getting for chips. The two salsas are a very watery mild green salsa and a dark red hot salsa. The green salsa was pretty much water and not flavorful. The dark red salsa looked like it would be bitter and hot, but wasn't bitter, and not overly hot. It was fine, but not great. The guac salsa wasn't noteworthy either. Tacos were fine but nothing exciting and didn't really fulfill my taco cravings. The tacos had a lot of meat, but both the carne asada (shredded) and carnitas (shredded) looked and tasted about the same, and were pretty dry and flavorless. This seems like a nice local business and the staff were nice enough, but I just wouldn't stop here again. I did appreciate they have Coke Zero! But canned sodas are $2.35 which seems excessive.

Yelp
Excellent. You know it's legit when there is a line. Fast and efficient. Go the burrito bbq pork

Yelp
I was in town for my son's soccer trip. Wanted a authentic street tacos and I knew this would be a good location when I walked in. I felt like I was transported to Mexico and food was simple but great! Would definitely visit again when I am in town.
google avatar

Ivan R.

Yelp
Food was flavorful! I accidentally ordered a large rice and beans when what I really wanted was simply a plate of rice and beans. The staff were so nice in handling this situation. Lots of parking space and the ambiance is engaging. :)
google avatar

Alisa J.

Yelp
This place was awesome! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, delicious authentic Mexican food. I was in the mood for some real good tacos like the ones I get in Mexico and this place hit the spot! Tacos & horchata...heaven. Thank you! I will be back!
google avatar

Monique M.

Yelp
Taqueria Mi Casita is one of my fav tacos spots. They have amazing food and service. My fiancé and I enjoy coming here!
google avatar

Anjanette S.

Yelp
Great food! Will go back for those awesome tacos and beans! Great pricing and service.
google avatar

Phaedra B.

Yelp
The quintessential example of a hole-in-wall restaurant that is a hidden gem. My visiting son-in-law was very impressed with his burrito and said he would definitely go out of his way to visit it again. Yes, you are served with paper plates and plastic forks, but the food makes up for that. Yes the decor is a gluttony of alcohol bottles but it adds to the atmosphere and makes it feel like you are visiting the eclectic auntie's house everyone loves to congregate in for food and fun. Five stars.
google avatar

Lolo Q.

Yelp
Wow, this place sure is amazing and loved by all the local workers during their lunch hour. We arrived right before lunch break and wow do they line up to eat here. There were almost 20 people in line waiting to place their order. Burritos and the tacos were the hot items. The burritos are huge, no dinner needed after you eat one of these footballs! Sooo good!!

Don W.

Yelp
Food above average. Service was friendly and efficient. I will go back to eat there again
google avatar

Paula C.

Yelp
Small authentic taqueria that you could miss if you drive by too fast. Always fast, fresh and delicious. It amazes me that Taco bell is walking distance to a real taco place. Stop eating fake food. Locals who want real food, here it is! Delicious Mexican food, very reasonable prices. We generally order carne asada tacos, tostada, and burritos. Breakfast burritos are off the charts... ssooo delicioso!!! My favorite! Carnitas? I'm drooling thinking about them. Really can't go wrong with any choice.
google avatar

Francisco M.

Yelp
Absolutely one of my favorite if not, my favorite Mexican restaurant, it is absolutely so good. It's what you crave in an authentic Mexican meal. The service is really great even during rush time and everything is made in front of you and you're allowed to choose whatever toppings you want. It really does give you that home vibe just like Mexico. Burrito 10/10 Carne Asada quesadilla 10/10
google avatar

Mindi F.

Yelp
This place is perfection. The portions are huge. There's one guy at the flat top just hustling. There is love in everything they make. This will be your new go-to if you live nearby. It is worth the drive out to the burbs if you are just visiting too!
google avatar

Donna B.

Yelp
Good tacos with la lot of sides to add. Fresh and authentic. Great customer service! Get there early for dinner or there will be a line!
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
The staff was very nice and the dining area was cool. I had high hopes because of their yelp reviews and they seemed busy when we arrived. While waiting in line the couple in front of us received the incorrect protein on their taco. The gentleman proceeded to put the protein that was on the tortilla back to be reserved and the new protein was added to the existing tortillas. I thought that wasn't very sanitary. I still ordered the food. Two taco plates with a variation of fish, shrimp, chicken, and asada tacos. The best one was the fish taco, but they all could use a little bit more flavor. The rice was bland and the beans were alright
google avatar

Jesus V.

Yelp
I don't like giving low scores but I ordered 3 bacon breakfast burritos and 0/3 came with bacon. The dining room is roomy. Service was lacking because of the mess up order. Salsa was just colored water also. Jaime said I have credit for my burritos next visit - since I couldn't go back due to work. We'll see.
google avatar

Patricia R.

Yelp
OMG, this place was amazing!!! I tried the tacos, tostadas and burrito and I cannot pick a favorite. The are all so good and tasty. The burrito was to die for, the tortilla was so good!!! Definitely a most try for Mexican food in chandler!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible customer service the lady with glasses is extremely rude and racist very bad attitude is she doesn't like working there and provide good customer service she should find another line of employment! The food is excellent but the people who work there the lady's in the front are rude as hell !

Paula M.

Yelp
LOVE this place !!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST Tacos in the East valley. Cute and clean !!!!!!!!!! This is a MUST VISIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Desiree M.

Yelp
10/10 The food and service were AMAZING!!! We walked in on a Sunday late afternoon and were eating within 5 minutes of ordering. I had the carne asada street taco plate, my boyfriend had the California burrito, and we got chips and salsa. Everything had so much flavor and the ambiance was that of your traditional Mexican taqueria.
