Went for breakfast. Had the chorizo plate. Great flavor & healthy portions. Refried beans were just the way I like them- not too firm. Staff was very friendly with fast service. My only complaint is they need to tidy up the outside.

**Review: Delicious Tacos, But at What Cost?** These tacos are *damn* good—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and just the right amount of heat. Every bite is a reminder of why I love Mexican food. But holy hell, $15 for a taco plate? I feel like I’m getting violated with a smile. Yeah, the quality is there, and yeah, maybe the ambiance is cute, but my wallet is crying. I get that prices are up everywhere, but charging near-fine-dining prices for two tacos and some rice feels criminal. Delicious? Absolutely. Worth the financial pain? Debatable. If you’ve got cash to burn, go feast. If not, maybe pray for a happy hour miracle. 🌮💸

Ordered to go and was given old dry meat, it’s so tough I just ate the tortilla, I would recommend dining inside to get better quality. The limes were also hard and dried out.

Let me say not all Mexican/Latin food is the same and depending on the region the food is coming from, you'll get different variations of the same food and y'all should know my preferences are biased towards the El Paso-chihuahua flavors. Now, my family and i had the sopes de pollo and asada, tacos de lengua, quesadillas, and a torta. The meats were well cooked, tender, and flavorful. The consensus was that the beans were really good, but the rice was a little different but still ok. The maiz from the sope was rock hard on the edges, so that was a bit unfortunate. The customer service was rough around the edges, pushy, rushed, and came off a bit snarky. All of this may sound terrible, but depending on your own personality, it can come off comical at the end and wouldn't deter us from coming back again lol

I’m writing this message as a frequent and loyal customer of your restaurant. I often choose your establishment not only for myself but also to order meals for my employees, as the quality of the food has consistently been very good. However, I feel the need to express my concern regarding an issue that has now occurred more than once, and it’s beginning to affect my experience as a customer. This is the second time I’ve come during lunchtime—what should be your busiest and most well-prepared time of day—only to find that rice, a basic staple of most meals, is unavailable. It’s disappointing and frustrating, especially when I’ve made the effort to visit based on the expectation that a full menu will be available. For a place that prides itself on quality and service, this is an issue that should not be recurring. What adds to my disappointment is the fact that I genuinely enjoy your food, and I’ve supported this business consistently. That’s why I’m bringing this up—not to complain for the sake of it, but in the hope that improvements will be made. I want to keep coming back, and I want to keep recommending your food to others. On a more positive note, I want to highlight the employee named Gabriel. If I’m not mistaken, that’s his name. He’s always professional, respectful, and willing to help customers even when issues arise. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and represents your business with integrity. Employees like him are rare, and I believe he deserves recognition. I truly hope management can address this issue with more consistent planning and communication in the kitchen. Running out of a key item during peak hours sends the wrong message, especially to regular customers. I’d love to see the level of service match the quality of the food you serve. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Came here for dinner and struggled to order because the cashier was very quiet. The food was made quickly however, but came out cold. It cost me 6 extra dollars for a small plate of rice. Way too expensive. Don't waste your money on this location

EDIT: I LOVE this place, I keep coming back over and over again, all their food is AMAZING! great flavors and amazing staff, keep it up you guys <3 I’ve seen someone else review on the medium-waiting time but just wanted to say this is not a fast food restaurant. The food is completely fresh made so if keep that in mind :) you get what you pay and wait for and good quality takes time. Old review: I ordered on the phone and all directions were followed correctly. Went to pick it up, great efficient and friendly staff. It’s a pretty location. I ordered cactus gorditas. (I love the meatless options!) The food was so tasty, everyone in Denton should try this place at least once in their lifetime. The gorditas were so soaked in the sauce from the cactus stew, it was the only thing I could taste. I wish I would have been able to eat the Gordita with my hands as it’s supposed to or taste the beans and lettuce in it. I will definitely give this place a second try, hopefully our food won’t be soaked then ;) I would recommend coming to this place as they have great prices and a good selection of Mexican antojitos :)

Walked in, said how are you to the cashier (young kid) he replied "what can I get you". I said how are you again and received the same reply. I just walked out and spent my hard earned money somewhere else. Horrible customer service and won't be back

Yelp
Perfect place for an authentic lunch or dinner. Very casual. No drinks. A lotta food for the price.

Yelp
One of the best taquerias around. They never miss with the taco plate. The rice is delectable and should be a crime to eat. The wait is never long with accurate service. I will always recommend this place.

Yelp
I got super drunk here. I had a nice night with my hubby. Would come back here to drink more

Yelp
Always a great option for legit Mexican street food. Tacos are always good and the carne asada is probably my favorite. Th rajas are a close second. Normally I like nopal tacos but these are doused in a red sauce that I just didn't dig as much. On our last visit I ordered the hawaiana torta which has tons of meat and is huge! I only ate half. Had a side of beans and rice and it's perfect. I think the rice is very well done. We've been here three or four times now and every time it's been very consistent.

Yelp
This is our favorite taqueria anywhere near south Denton. My husband's favorite order is the al pastor burrito. He cannot order anything else. My fave is the Tostada Siberia with the verde sauce and some pickled jalapeños. Sooo good. We also love the asado, al pastor, and picadillo tacos. Delicious!!!

Natalie S.

Yelp
This is so authentic!! Never did I know they had my favorite soup! The pazole is Devine .

Yelp
This taqueria is amazing. They always have good service, the quality is always consistent, it's surprisingly affordable considering how good it is and there has never been a long wait even when they are busy. So far I've only tried various tacos, you can get them with either flour or corn. I typically don't like corn tortillas but their corn tortillas are amazing. They also ask if you want cilantro and onions. It's no brainer to me but there are some that apparently don't like cilantro like my wife so I'm glad they ask so you have the option to get it without cilantro. I have tried most of their tacos, my favorite by far is asada. Al pastor, barbacoa and chorizo. I haven't had tacos this good anywhere else and I have had a lot of tacos. I tried the huevos rancheros while it was good it didn't wow me like their tacos does. This is a must-try restaurant if you like tacos.

Yelp
I haven't been to this location in about 3 years or so. There are two simple and innocent reasons for why I don't come more often. First, I'm usually on my way somewhere and not hungry when I'm at this intersection. Also, their second store is much closer to my usual route and I've been content with frequenting that spot. However, stopping by on a Saturday morning just after 10am reminded me of all the things this location has to offer! First, for those of you passing through, this location is super easy for getting on and off I35 without disrupting your trip too much. It's next to the Care Now and behind the Dickey's in the corner of the strip. Second, this taqueria has a better layout and is less crowded with their seating, so it has a more relaxed atmosphere. Also, they have about four tables out front in a patio area. It's not covered, so that will depend on the weather. It is shaded in the mornings due to the height of the building. This location is extremely fast and that's actually harder to find in a taqueria setting, so they get major props for that! People had to go orders ahead of me and I still got my food within 5 minutes. I ordered the taco plate, which is my go to at both locations, and a medium agua fresca. With tax, this came out to exactly $10. I ordered the asada, pastor and carnitas. All 3 are executed a little better here than at the one on University, but it's just minor things. The asada is less chewy, the pastor is less greasy and the carnitas aren't as dry. The seasoning was on point for all 3, as I would expect from either location. Even the potato that comes with the plate is a little more flavorful. The beans, rice and agua fresca are about the same, which is to say very good and flavorful. I regret not getting the barbacoa. As we had stopped in on a whim, and a very nice lady was immediately ready to help me, I ordered off the top of my head as I scanned the list of meats. What I should have done is ordered the barbacoa. The barbacoa at the second location is the best I've had in Denton and I've never had it from here. Judging from everything else on this visit, I bet it would have been just as outstanding if not more so! They had 6 agua fresca's ready to go. I went with the Jamaica and it was quite good. They also had breakfast tacos stocked on the counter for grab and go. They have fountain drinks and bottled drinks and ready made desserts available as well. This Taqueria Monterrey is extremely organized and clean, I really like it a lot. It's a great stop for solid food and I'm glad I got a nice reminder of that with delicious agua fresca, yummy rice and above average, well seasoned meats. A 4 1/2 star experience that deserves to be rounded up for speed and service because you can see they are more prepared than many of the other local taquerias around.

This is my go to when I want street tacos. Doesn't get any better. I haven't had anything bad here. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
Huge shoutout to some of the best yelpers in N TX. Richard, Manda, and Magnus!!! You guys rock. All are clearly foodies that are very respected for their keen knowledge of the best eats in Texas and beyond. I follow them like a devout monk of all that is great and holy food wise. Thank you for your yelpship! It's an honor!! This is the best darn taqueria in North Texas. Period. Breakfast tacos topped w homie-homade salsa Verde and/or Roja is mind blowing..... really good. Make this a bucket list taqueria. Your welcome. Hope everyone can be as lucky as I am to have the privilege to know great yelpers like those above and to be led to the altar of tacos by the apostles of all that's good and wonderful in Texas. Can you tell I'm a believer!??? Lol. Enjoy.

Yelp
Grabbed some tacos, quesadillas, a torta and some drinks. Ordering was super easy and quick. Food came out relatively fast and service was awesome. No issues with missing or wrong items. The tacos came with a potato, cooked pepper, grilled onions, likes and salsa. Which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed every bit of it. Food was very filling. Location is in a mini mall behind a gas station. Very authentic food, and you don't have to speak Spanish to order. Very much enjoyed everything we got. Prices were decent and food was filling.

Yelp
I'm sorry but this place was not good. I got a variety of meats in tacos and gorditas along with an elote. I got barbacoa, asada, carnitas, lengua, pastor, & guisada. Out of all the meats I ordered, the barbacoa was the only good one. I can't even say the elote was good either. Just overall disappointing.
google avatar

Eduardo J.

Yelp
Food is mediocre and their prices are horrendously high for the quality of food they offer.
google avatar

Alisha S.

Yelp
Because it was National Taco Day, we decided to celebrate by coming here, however they didn't really have any deals going on for it. I decided to get two tacos, one chorizo and one pastor. Both were good, but I think I've had better. The tacos were kinda overpriced too because my total for two tacos was $3.72 which isn't worth it. I tried their elotes and they make it different from what Im used to. They didn't add any mozzarella cheese and it was kinda liquidy. They have churros and cheesecake which I would probably want to try if I came back, but overall the price isn't worth the food.

Yelp
OK, so If you want a HUGE menu of options, this is your place! If you are looking for delicious, authentic, Mexican food, this is Definately your place! And if you are looking for a friendly, fast service restaurant to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner certainly stop in here. I will admit, I passed by many times before I finally stopped. For no other reason than........ well, I don't really know. I just never stopped. I wish I had. I pulled in here hoping to grab some tacos that I could eat on the road and what I walked in to find was like a food Disney Land! I couldn't believe the options they had. Service was extremely prompt so I recommend looking up their menu ahead of time otherwise, you may make a quick decision and just tell them to give you one of many things ( I almost did this but stopped myself and stuck to the tacos on the road plan)..... and because I love pastries, I had them throw in one of those churros too. I topped it off with a cup of the aqua frescas de pina. I chose my old favorite tacos, Al Pastor. I was shocked at how fast my order was ready. There were so many customers coming in for pick up orders as well as patrons coming to dine in yet it seemed like I was the only one because I was in and out so quickly. I got out to the car and was extremely pleased with what less than $10 got me. Wow! Refried beans and rice, three tacos stuffed with onions, cilantro, grilled onions. a roasted jalepeno, even a potato. Everything was about as perfect as you could get. The tacos came with two sauces, a red and a green. The red had a little kick to it but wasn't overpowering. The green was very flavorful and added a nice finish to the tacos. Oh, and with the spritz of lime that they also provided, those tacos tasted like I was on the streets of Mexico. And if you've never been, you must experience this culinary journey someday. I will say, I have a favorite taqueria in East Texas that I have frequented for nearly 2 decades now and I still have never found one that I like better, but this one is REALLY good. And close to as good of a value. Now to the best part. The Churro and the Aqua Fresca. Both were heavenly! The Aqua Fresca tasted just like homemade and the Churro, well, I'm glad I didn't dine in because I most certainly would have gotten a few more to take with me. If you have done as I did many times and drove by here without stopping, don't do that any longer. Stop in and grab a quick, quality bite to eat. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This shit is so good it came out in less than 7 minutes of waiting the person at the cashier was chill as hell best taco spot in denton fashozile

Yelp
Just NAAASTY! We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Sunday morning and our food was room temperature. One of the tacos i immediately spit out into my napkin. Our family came because of the reviews on yelp. I wish I had the option to put no stars.

Yelp
My wife and I were fortunate to visit this restaurant on a recent stay at a nearby hotel. The breakfast was just as I remember in Mexico. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the salsa we very great and tasty. I wish this kind of breakfast was available in St Louis.

Yelp
I've been in the hospital 10 days. I have tacos and burritos of all varieties from here. This place is really really good and similar to southern CA Mexican food. Prices are reasonable and the salsa is really good. Highly recommend. Thank you helping me get over Covid Taqueria Monterrey!!!
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
OMG los tacos de Taqueria Monterrey son los mejores de DFW. Sorry, The tacos here are the best in DFW. SoOOOO good. Reminds me a lot of what my mom used to cook growing up. The pastor and Carnitas were my favorites and you can door dash them if you're covid minded. I give this place 5 stars just for the experience on the food. I can't wait to go in person!!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is always fresh and served fast. Employees are very friendly. Thia has been a great little spot for my stay in Denton TX. Highly recommend.. The carnitas and al pastor porks are very flavorful. A must go to and check it out!! Thank you to the staff for staying open during this crazy time..

Yelp
Do you miss being able to travel to Mexico and all the fun of eating street tacos and drinking a coke? Well, Taqueria Monterrey can bring you the flavors you are missing and while you can't quite escape to explore an exotic location you can take a culinary trip down memory lane and enjoy some fantastic food from very friendly people. My favorite location is off Mayhill and I35
google avatar

Christy G.

Yelp
This is my favorite place for authentic Mexican food. Their chicken chile rellenos are beyond amazing! I've recommended this restaurant to many people. I absolutely love it! The only reason I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service is not as friendly as it used to be. It used to be really great! It has been reported to me that the employees do not get to keep their tips (owners keep them), so I'm sure that does affect work ethic. The bathrooms are also really gross. Women's toilet doesn't flush. Men's bathroom floor has pee everywhere (come on men..... you're old enough to be potty trained).
google avatar

Riana A.

Yelp
Literally every time we order we wait a minimum of 10 minutes... even when we call the order in advance.
google avatar

Darla I.

Yelp
I've lived here for years and simply drove by this place as it didn't look like much. But after reading the reviews, we decided to try it. It did not disappoint. Very tasty! I had the carne asada street tacos and they were on point. Loved the two salsa options they gave you. Spicy and very tasty. A huge menu of choices. I can't wait to come back and try other stuff. Great authentic Mexican food!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to eat Mexican food. Best flavor I've found in the Denton area. Prices are worth every bite. Plus the green salsa is amazing.

Jaclyn B.

Yelp
Great stop for some reasonable tacos! Clean, fast and friendly. I got the asada tacos, pastor taco and chips and salsa and would go back for more!

Yelp
I've had Taqueria Monterrey bookmarked for quite a while and I finally stopped in for lunch. I've since been back a second time so I am ready for a review: Getting anywhere in Denton these days is always a factor in where I decide to eat. I am happy to say that getting to Taqueria Monterrey is relatively easy now that traffic seems to be a bit better around State School road. There is plenty of parking available in its location behind the Quick Trip gas station across from Regional Hospital. I was impressed at the spacious size of the dining area. I expected there to be only a few tables with most of the business being take-out but its actually a good-sized eating area with plenty of tables and booths in a very comfortable setting. You walk in and head towards the back to a counter with a large menu on the wall that shows images of all their offerings. Both times I visited there was no line at the counter and about half of the tables were occupied. I was greeted as I approached the counter by very nice employees who were pleasant and in no rush which allowed me to consider all the menu options. The menu has a good range of options to choose from with a good variety, from fish to enchaladas to soups. They have self-serve fountain drinks and a refrigerator/cooler unit with canned sodas and Jarritos bottles. They also have a few dessert items at the counter such as honey buns and packaged pastries. On both visits I ordered tacos. They have a three taco plate that comes with rice & beans and a five taco plate with no sides. You can also order single tacos. You pick your carne and flour or corn tortillas. The corn tortillas are double-layered and the tacos are on the smaller size so don't hesitate to get a few extra. My taco varieties: #1 : Carnitas = shredded roasted pork. It's basically like pulled pork. I think this is my favorite. The pork was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was great with a bit of salt and salsa added. #2 : Barbacoa = shredded beef, similar to chopped brisket. This was a close second to the carnitas. It was very tender and moist with a distinct beef flavor. Definitely a must-try. #3 : Asada = basically it's diced up beef fajita meet. Very good. I will order at least one of these every time. The meat was nice and almost chewy/crispy since it had a lot of surface area due to the small bits of around the size of a jelly bean. I also tried Al Pastor and Pollo which were pretty good but I would not choose them over those three ^ on a three taco plate. They are definitely worth getting on a five taco plate. I also order chips and salsa which were probably the best chips and salsa I've ever had since eating chips at Julio T. Garcia's house when I was a kid. The chips were super fresh and still warm from the fryer. The salsa had the perfect amount of kick with a great balance of flavors. I poured the extra salsa on my tacos and I ended up eating the rest of it straight with a spoon. I am definitely making this my default place for Mexican food. It's so good, the price is great, and the dining experience is quick, easy, and comfortable. Plus, there is so much on the menu that you look forward to going back many times just to try all the options. I think I'll try their guisada next time or maybe the asado de puerco.

Oscar M.

Yelp
My wife goes there and orders me #23 Mojarra Frita plate. It's a fried fish that comes with rice. I get home to my dinner and all I had was an overcooked fish with no rice. I call to complain and they tell me they're willing to credit me a side of beans bc they're out of rice. Ridiculous to charge $15.70 for poor service and ok at best food. Save your time and money by going elsewhere.

Yelp
Have driven by this place many times, finally stopped in for lunch during the week. That was a great choice, legit tacos, hot, fresh, and very very tasty. #4 plate any 3 tacos with rice and beans and of course on corn tortillas, carnitas, barbacoa, asada for $7. Barbacoa was the best, then carnitas, but all were very good. Rice tasted very fresh, beans were a bit thin. The plate also came with grilled onions and a small potato, excellent additions. Lots of seating indoors and a few picnic tables outside with wide variety of customers; families, business people and tons of spanish speaking folks. This place is the real deal, a bit hidden in the strip center behind the QT, well worth the trip.
google avatar

Hayden L.

Yelp
Great authentic Mexican Food. The barbacoa tacos were out of this world. Also had the asada and carnitas. They were both good, but nothing like the barbacoa. We will absolutely be back.
google avatar

Astrid C.

Yelp
The horchata here is BOMB! They have so many menu options, I really like the ceviche tostadas and they have a lot of little snacks to choose from. Friendly service and super cheap prices! They also have elotes and other fresh waters.

Yelp
Great napoles Gorditas for a vegetarian option. I had 2 asada Gorditas as well. Highly recommend them. Great sauces come along with every meal and a grilled jalapeño.

Yelp
Love coming here, really authentic and great service. The bread next door is a great desert

Yelp
Guilty pleasure? Authentic Mexican food found mostly in gas stations (think Fuel City in Dallas) or hidden away so well that this place has been open for over a year and I had not noticed it. The shame is that it is only a couple miles from my house and nothing but pho can beat a well done breakfast taco or bowl of pozoles for a low key brunch. When my hubby and I venture in, which has become once a weekend now, we are surrounded by other folks who enjoy real Mexican home cooking. The place is by the medical district, behind CareNow and is largely holding the retail strip mall afloat by its presence. It is clean and you have a very nice selection of Jarritos (my favorite is the tamarind) or Topochico to ease you into your day. I love the plain, deliciously flavored rice and beans that remind me of my first experiences with home cooked Mexican food. The beans probably contain lard or bacon grease and I have to get a side of them every time. I want to think the flour tortillas are home made, they taste and look like it. I've tried the street tacos, barbaqoa, some chili pepper variety and lengua. I liked them all. I tried the pozoles next but was slightly disappointed that it was topped with just shredded lettuce and not cabbage. The breakfast tacos are good, I've had the potato and egg one and a chorizo egg one (they forgot the egg). All, liberally dousing them with either the green or red salsa also tasty and homemade. I like that it is walk up counter service but you can help yourself to your beverage as you wait. Don't miss the dessert cooler with homemade cakes and other sweet treats. They do not have Tex-Mex queso and that is a good thing but you can get a side of the Cojita cheese to crumble over everything! I can't wait to go back and try more items. It is an extensive menu but all very well done, reasonably priced and currently is BYOB. So, for those mornings where you wake up a little groggy and need a good place to hunker down in, check it out. Go there, get some and enjoy the soap operas or bands playing in the dining area.

Yelp
I love the food here. I feel like it's hard to find food of this quality near me and the fact that I was able to find this one is a blessing for me but a curse for my wallet

Yelp
Really good food! I wanted a regular tostadas with chicken and the guy at register was happy to have it made (it wasn't on the menu). Great customer service! I also ordered the tacos with rice and beans! It was sooooo good! The carne asada was tasty! My husband had the menudo and said it was also good! Next time we're back in Denton we will be eating here!

I wish the service was faster because the food is amazing. I got the al pastor taco plate and it was sooo good. Rice and beans are delish too!

Yelp
When I saw the sign go up for Taqueria Monterey, I was both excited and hesitant. Living in Texas, AUTHENTIC Mexican food is a term that's thrown around a lot when it really shouldn't be. Tex-mex and Mexican cuisine are two very different things, delicious in their own rite. Authenticity goes a long way when choosing restaurants I frequent, and I am adding this to the list. For my first time, I usually default to street tacos... easy and a good way to gauge flavors and quality. With 11 types of tacos to choose from, I might need to make a round two with the street taco research. A three taco plate will run you $6.99 and is served with rice, beans, and charred vegetables. I decided on pork carnitas, chicken al pastor, and lengua (beef tongue... if you've never had lengua you're missing out). Selection of salsa picante and salsa verde were available. Both were delicious but the verde was superior and had a nice flavorful heat. Their rice had a wonderful saffron flavor that was surprising and divine. This place has a large menu of many items that prides itself in authenticity, flavor, and service. I highly recommend swinging by this place for a quick bite.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
Overall, I won't go there any more because I had a pretty bad experience related with a Cashier. I believe this kind bad thing should be stopped here in Texas.
google avatar

Rhonda D.

Yelp
Yep, showed up at 20 minutes before closing. Staff were cringing when we walked in, we should, have left but we were out of options. Food was microwaved to heat it up - we had tacos, ordered a burrito and got a piece of meat, ordered nachos chips were soggy and mushy and the meat was rubbery. So...not able to give more than two.
google avatar

Jeremiah R.

Yelp
Excellent taqueria! I've been here several times and gotten different tacos and my favorites are the lengua and the chiccharon. The typical red and green salsas you find Aaron most taquerias are here as well. Prices are reasonable and they have menudo (haven't tried theirs yet) available everyday. Worth a trip.

Yelp
I really love their potato and egg breakfast tacos with green salsa. Definitely give this place a try!

Yelp
While looking for some breakfast food I found this place on yelp. It was close to where we were in Corinth, so we stopped in and picked up breakfast for the whole family (we were staying with family in Texas for Thanksgiving). What says Thanksgiving better than tacos the day after? Nothing! So we ordered a bunch of tacos and also some huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. Everything was great and their salsas were super flavorful. Their lunch menu looked really nice to!

Yelp
I wanted authentic tacos and wanted to try the new Taqueria Monterrey (behind the QT). I searched the web for their hours and Google showed they were closed today (Sunday). Boo. I opened up Yelp to doublecheck their hours and it showed open. Interesting. I then called the # listed on Yelp several times over 10 mins to triplecheck and it was busy the entire time. Wtf. I then decided to drive there to quadruple check. -1 star for that inconvenience. Upon arrival, I was glad to find that they were open Sundays. Inside was clean and menu was brightly lit. I ordered nachos and 9 tacos for dining in (I brought my neice and nephew with me). It took 26 minutes to arrive (I looked at my phone when they brought our food minus receipt time). -0.5 star for the long wait for dine-in. I would expect to-go orders to take longer. Food was decent and presented nicer than most taquerias. My tacos came with a roasted jalapeno and half potato. Green and red sauce (chilled) available from the fridge near fountain drinks. +0.5 star for presentation, extras. We didnt finish everything so asked for 2 large to-go boxes which was nice for them to have (+0.5). I also ordered a horchata to-go and said no ice, so that it wouldnt be watered down during the drive home. I had one of the kids carry the horchata. When we got into the car, guess what? It had ice. Wtf. That was the only thing on the order and the young lady at the register got it wrong. -0.5 star. Overall, this is a nice taqueria and a welcome addition to the area. They could use some help with their online presence (incorrect hours, no website, no menus) and simply managing the business hours would help a lot of people. 3.5 stars overall to be more precise. Since I couldnt find any indication of their menu or correct hours, I have uploaded them for any others looking for them. De nada.

Yelp
Their food is always hot, consistently flavorful and cooked perfectly. They are fast and friendly and accommodating. I love the tacos of course but the breakfast tacos and the gorditas are sublime!

Yelp
I had never eaten in a gas station convenience store before, but this little restaurant tucked off to the side was always busy so I decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Love their tacos. $1.75 ea. Be prepared to wait a little if they get really busy. It's not a fast food drive in but well worth it.
