Mexican Rotisserie Meats Are Now Being Served at Parranga in Mill Valley | Eater SF

"Set in the Strawberry Village shopping center, I noticed a new option for tacos and beer with the opening this week of Parranga, a Mexican restaurant from the crew behind Colibri in Union Square that replaces The Plant Café. Owners Eduardo Rallo and chef Jose Miguel Smith Bustos focus on meats slow-cooked in a rotisserie and used across tacos, tortas, and salads — notably a roasted pork shoulder in a pineapple-chile marinade served with house-made corn or flour tortillas — and there are also chicken, beef, seafood, and tofu options. The casual space features communal tables and an industrial design and is striving to keep things local with produce from area farms and pastries from a long-running Mission District bakery. For drinks look for beer, margaritas, sangria, and a full non-alcoholic menu of shakes, smoothies, and juices (which can be made with rice or almond milk and a choice of sweetness); aguas frescas come in four flavors including a hibiscus-and-cinnamon combo, and there is Mexican Coke. Parranga — a name meant to evoke “endless joy” and a play on the tongue twister Parangaricutirimicuaro — is currently open for lunch and dinner and will add breakfast and brunch when it gets settled in." - Rachel Vigoda

Google
Its hard for me to give anything 5 stars, but if Google allowed it I would give Taqueria Parranga 4.5 stars for sure. Santana Row is an uppity area in San Jose, but they have great shopping so recently when we were in town for thr NWSL Championship we stopped in. Taqueria Parranga was a breath of fresh air amoung stuffy higher end places when you just want a drink and a quick bite to eat. The reaturant is absolutely freaking adorable 😍. The staff was extremely friendly and the chicken and steak was extremely fresh. I have almost no complaints whatsoever and would for sure come again.

Google
Looked promising, but really missed for us. We came in for lunch and tried the papa relleno, burrito bowl and some chips and guacamole. The chips were stale, everything was stuck to aluminum foil on the papa relleno and the food just lacked flavor. The best thing was the melon agua Fresca. That I would get again. Too many choices around for this to be a go back.

Google
Solid tacos, flavorful sauces, and legit Mexico City vibes. Parranga brings street food swagger to Santana Row, with a slightly upscale price tag. Still, a welcome (and tasty) addition to the scene. Would come back for the salsas alone.

Google
Good Mexican food isn’t and doesn’t need to be fancy. Taqueria Parranga nails it. No fluff, no frills, just great food. We ordered the burrito con pollo and it did not disappoint. Full of ingredients and flavor, it was the perfect lunch. HIGHLY recommend sitting at the restaurant because they have a carrier of all the sauces you could want to add during your meal (you’re definitely missing out on this if you take-away). Can’t wait to make this a regular spot.

Google
What a wonderful experience! The tacos were delicious, I tried the Pastor and Carne Asada, and the beans, which were fantastic! If you love tacos, great service and cute atmosphere then you have to check this place out! 10/10!

Google
The tacos are good and the sauces make it amazing. I’m a fan of the pina y Serrano. We had the lengua and carna asada, and pastor and it was tasty. Tacos were 5.25 each and there’s no option for tip

Google
Al pastor taco and birria taco paired with the hibiscus mule. Love the variety of salsas available.

Yari G.

Google
Authentic tacos! Had the carne asada, al pastor, and quesadilla. Tastes like Mexico, and the salsas are spicy, just as they should be! Tortillas are home made and fresh. The pastor is generously packed with pineapple and meat. If you need a place to go after a night out on the row this is the spot.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food! Great customer service Hand made tortillas, with flavored meats ! We had al pastor and carnitas and they did not disappoint We also loved the variety they had of salsas Our experience here was great, cannot wait to return!

Yelp
The food isn't actually bad. The place is clean, and it's in a great location... so why is it a 2-star dining experience??! First off, the food is good. It's a fairly Americanized taco kind of establishment so the menu selection and food is pretty good. But the rest of the restaurant... The service, the wait, the overall vibe is abysmal. I went on Sunday at lunch and there was only one person manning the front. They were overwhelmed even though there were only a handful of customers. I saw my food come out within 10min plated but I ordered togo. So they took it back. And it took another 20min for my order to be ready... A bit frustrating but not a big deal. I could tell the place was understaffed and probably mismanaged. But then I get home and realize one of my items is missing and they definitely made the guacamole with a lot of spicy peppers... It felt more like a hot salsa dip than a guac. Looking back, the vibe of the place is just dreary, none of the workers looked happy to be there, and you can feel it. The soft service machine was broken and when you try to call in, it takes you so some voicemail of another company. Overall it just feels like a mismanaged restaurant, which is pretty unfortunate given the prime location and menu. Hope they turn things around but I can't recommend it for now.

Yelp
We've been here a few times now and it's great just skip the cocktails. Aesthetic So cute -- love the colors and overall vibe. It's a counter-order setup with a streamlined menu. On the far end, you can see right into the kitchen window and watch everything being made/prepped. To the right of the counter, there's a reach-in cooler with additional drink options and their sauces in to-go formats (the sauces are incredible -- more on that below). They've also started canning their drinks, which is a fun (just wish they were better). There's both table and counter seating inside plus a really well-done patio outside with heaters. The whole design is so thoughtful -- even down to the planters on casters that divide the patio space nicely. A lot of places treat patios like an afterthought; this one doesn't. Service Always friendly and upbeat. Even though it's counter-service, they still come by to check on you and bring food to the table. You can tell the team actually cares about the guest experience. Food We've tried several things here, but the tacos al pastor are the absolute standout -- easily the best thing on the menu. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, balanced -- just excellent. The menu is organized in a choose-your-format setup (burrito, taco, volcán, etc.) followed by your protein. They've got all the standards plus some regional favorites like suadero and lengua, and even some breakfast options. They also serve soft-serve ice cream for dessert, which is such a cute and unexpected addition. Sauces The pineapple habanero sauce deserves its own award -- it's my favorite anywhere. They keep all the sauces in squeeze bottles in caddies on the tables, so you can try as many as you want without paying extra or dealing with those tiny ramekins that make you feel guilty for asking for more. It's such a smart, guest-friendly setup. Drinks The margaritas are just okay. One time they were pretty rough (seemed like someone forgot the lime), but when we mentioned it, the cashier handled it perfectly -- super gracious. They're on tap and def not the highlight, but not a dealbreaker either. Overall Great food, great vibe, friendly people, and clearly a lot of thought put into the design and guest experience.

Yelp
Nice taqueria in Santana Row serving Mexico City-style street food. Limited seating inside but plenty outside, so this place is popular among the office-going folks in the vicinity. Came here with my colleagues for lunch and was pretty happy with the meal. We got some guac and chips for the table. I wasn't a big fan of the salsa that came with the chips, but the chips were served warm and crispy. I had a couple of the chorizo tacos and one al pastor. The al pastor was flavorful but dry and tough. The chorizo tacos were fantastic! The star of the meal was the extensive selection of very unique salsa sauces they serve for each table. The service was slow though - it took a while for the food to arrive, and the line can get pretty big at peak lunch time. Overall, pretty good option if you are nearby and crave some Mexican food. Given that my office is close by, wouldn't be surprised if I return.

Yelp
Came here for a quick bite while I was in the area, every other restaurant was absolutely packed so we selected this as a back up. The interior is simple, you order at the counter, they give you a number, and they bring you your food. I ordered the chips & salsa and the al pastor burrito. The burrito was actually super good, I was pleasantly surprised. They also have an assortment of hot sauces/salsas at each of the tables in bottles that you can add to your food to make it more flavorful. I think the salsas were all very unique and tasty. Overall, highly would recommend stopping by if you are in the area. This spot probably serves better (and cheaper) food than 99% of the other restaurants in the area.

Yelp
More like 3.5 stars. Average to decent food but amazing sauces given tableside. We got the 2 veg tacos-corn n mushroom and soyrizo one and a veg burrito. Both tasted great specially with the sauces given. I got a paloma too whoch was a big disappointment for the price. Tiny and straight out of a can. Total was about $55 ehich is expensive for a place like this.

Yelp
this place really surprised me! I find it difficult to get a good meal on Santana row if I'm being totally honest. I find a lot of the restaurants to be overpriced but locking in flavor. Is this place price for tacos in San Jose? Perhaps so, but everything I had was surprisingly good! There is a big variety of salsa and a lot of my meal was enjoyed alternating between them. It is a cute little space as well with lots of green tile. I think if you're exhausted from shopping and just want something quick to eat and don't feel like walking all the way into Valley fair, this could be a good way to not spend all your money and get a full meal. It was not crowded at peak dinner time on a weekday, and I think it seems pretty chill even on the weekends. Hope this place stays open for a while even though the location seems cursed with all the turnover in recent years.

Yelp
The seating is communal seating so if you're in a group it's a little odd since you would all be sitting next to each other. The menu has a good selection, something for everyone. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that there were a few options. My partner got 4 tacos and he liked them. I got the torta with papas and soyrizo, 10/10. I really enjoyed the torta, it included cheese, tomato, sour cream, onion; it usually comes with lettuce but they ran out of lettuce. However, I still thought it was great. Service was fine, they answered all our questions and food came out relatively quick. In terms of pricing, it's Santana Row, so expect that pricing.

Yelp
It's hard to find a affordable place to eat on Santana Row. This hits the spot. Favourite thing to order- Volkan with Carne Asada

Yelp
This taqueria is the cutest and most vibrant place! I absolutely adore the decor and the colors used throughout the restaurant. The seating is spacious, both indoors and outdoors. My friend and I opted for a table outside near a calming waterfall setup surrounded by lush foliage. The restaurant features an open concept that seamlessly connects the indoor and outdoor areas. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, adding to the delightful atmosphere. FOOD - Tacos (Al pastor, carne asada, barbacoa, carnitas) - Quesadilla - Papa Rellena (baked potato) - Watermelon drink - Hibiscus drink - Chips and Guacamole All of the food was well-prepared, and the proteins were plentiful and flavorful. The tacos were slightly greasy, but that's to be expected. Overall, they were delicious! The guacamole was fresh and tasty--very simple, with no onions or other additives mixed in. The restaurant offers a variety of dipping sauces, so I had a great time trying all of them. Overall, it's a solid taqueria for a quick lunch or for catching up with friends over dinner. The outdoor seating is beautiful as well.

Yelp
Hola to a new taco spot at Santana Row! Taqueria Parranga brings the bold flavors of Mexico City street food to San Jose, with a modern twist. I tried a spread of tacos, burritos, quesadilla and Papa Rellena (a huge loaded baked potato with butter, bacon, cheese, sour cream and brisket- highly rec this!). Seriously impressed by the fresh ingredients and vibrant housemade salsas (the creamy green salsa is my fave!). The handmade tortillas were warm, and each taco was packed with bold and savory flavors. The space is bright, open-air, and super fun. Imagine bold street taco vibes, colorful decor, self-serve salsa, and casual counter service. Their $12 draft cocktails are such a steal, love the spicy margarita! Bonus: they open at 9.30am-12pm for breakfast, with items like breakfast burritos and scrambled eggs, making this a solid option for brunch or an early start to your Santana Row shopping day.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The coffee was also very good. The only thing I would change is the comfort of the chairs.

Yelp
I'm actually a fan of this taqueria! It's odd that it's inside Santana row which feels and looks out of place only because there's nothing but restaurants around it BUT it's one of the cheapest options at the row. I love their burritos especially because they toast it and the ingredients inside are really good. I request to have it with no rice that way you get a lot of the flavor. I enjoyed their suadero which is brisket and has lots of flavor. I'll definitely need to try their carne asada though. I love that they provide different sauces on each table to provide more flavor; my favorite is the verde sauce which is like creamy guac with lime. There's a few more items I'd like to try such as their quesadilla and tacos. This is an excellent Mexican taqueria to go to especially during late nights after hanging out drinking & dancing. I'll be back again for sure!

Yelp
Phenomenal service, ambience, and food! I got the vegetarian option for the breakfast burrito, which included eggs, jalapeños, Napolis, and onions, and it was phenomenal! I was impressed by just how much egg there was in the burrito, as opposed to any filler items. The price was also Great, especially considering that this place is on Santana Row. The menu is quite minimal for breakfast, but for lunch and dinner it's expanded, and I will definitely be back to try more! Seating area outside and in the hybrid outside/inside space was lovely. It reminds me of a southern California Taqueria.

Yelp
My review of Taqueria Parranga in all fairness is closer to a 3.5 stars than a 3. This was our first visit here as we are taco lovers and most all things Mexican cuisine. Well, let's start with the three tacos we ordered and shared...Carne Asada , Al Pastor and one that peaked our curiosity was the Potato with Soy Chorizo . The Potato taco had a weird aftertaste and the other two were meats were seasoned well enough. However, the tacos were all pretty greasy. We also ordered the pinto beans with bacon and chorizo and it was SO salty it may have shot up my blood pressure! The chips and guacamole were decent but the guacamole portion small. Also, the salsa's all came in squeeze bottles where you couldn't see the salsa's and also nothing special about any of them. We were also disappointed in the two flavorless Aguas Fresca's that we ordered, strawberry and horchata a definite pass! Sadly, we won't return to this Taqueria and you don't get the value that you pay for. If there's one nice thing I can say about this place, is that the guy who was the cashier and behind the counter was especially attentive, helpful and very polite.

Yelp
*** SOFT OPENING *** Taqueria AND Mantana Row is kinda an oxymoron but after taking a peek at the menu...they had me at lengua, tripas, suadero...AND $12 cocktails! From the team behind El Jardin, Zazil, Suspiro, and Colibri comes Taqueria Parranga. They took over Chika which they also owned. They soft opened today with a grand opening on 4/1/25. M E N U Apps, tacos (Mexico City style), burrito, quesadilla, volcán, etc. Proteins: Asada, carnitas, pollo, barbacoa, chorizo, lengua, suadero, tripas, and veggie options. Al pastor not available yet. Yay for having offal! Beer, soda, agua fresca, and draft cocktails. Unfortunately, all their cocktails are premade. No shots or club soda available. D R I N K S * Hibiscus Mule: Gran Centenario Plata, Hibiscus Ginger Beer, Mint, Angostura Bitters ($12) Attractive price but it tastes like juice (not in a good way) with a splash of alkie. Served in a regular water glass with no garnish. One sip and I left it. * Diet Coke ($4.99) High markup for fast casual (can). F O O D * Chips & Guac ($7.50) Hearty chips, the chunky guac (~4 oz) was bland, needed more seasoning and acid. But, add some tableside salsa and you're good. TACOS Tacos come in a single handmade tortilla with your choice of protein, garnished with onions + cilantro. These are street tacos and so may need at least 3-4 for a meal. The tortilla was fine, could have been warmed up longer on la plancha so it's softer and more pliable. * Lengua ($5.25 x2) Beefy, meltingly soft beef tongue but underseasoned. * Suadero ($5.25) The shredded brisket was solid, slow-cooked and tender. * Tripas ($5.25) Chewy intestines, would request "crispy" next time. * Volcán: Crisp open-faced corn tortilla w/ cheese and your choice of protein ($6.25) Tender bits of asada but could have used a harder char. The melty cheese added a delicious salty sharpness to the otherwise underseasoned steak. The tortilla was more chewy than crispy. SALSAS They have six tableside housemade salsas. My fav was the verde cremosa, an avocado based salsa w/ serrano + jalapeño. While it's supposed to be the spiciest, it wasn't very spicy (3/10) but had good flavor and viscosity. S E R V I C E Fast casual service. We received our entire order in less than 4 minutes (empty at the time). A M B I A N C E Festive and colorful with mainly outdoor seating. P A R K I N G Garage parking is free for the first 2 hours, $1 for each hour thereafter. Overall, having dined at their sister restos, I didn't have high expectations but Taqueria Parranga ended up being pretty good for the area, tho the salsas do the heavy lifting. Wish they had a full bar like their predecessor. Would def return but pre-game beforehand!

Yelp
We came to Taqueria Parranga on a Saturday around 1 PM, and it wasn't too busy. It took about 20 minutes for the first part of our order to come out and another 10 minutes for the rest. Thirty minutes was a bit too long for just three tacos, but since they just opened I hope that this wait time improves in the future. We got: - Papa Rellena - Carne Asada Taco - Al Pastor Taco - Barbacoa Taco My favorites were the baked potato (papa rellena) and the carne asada taco. For sauces, I really liked the toreada and the creamy verde! This place is on the pricier side compared to other taco spots at $5.25/taco. My other complaint is that they forgot the pineapple in my al pastor taco :(
google avatar

Carolyn D.

Yelp
A little steep for tacos but its packed with meat and is pretty good! I like the sauce assortments it comes with so you can pick and choose your own. Its never busy do if you want a quick snack during shopping this is not a bad option

Yelp
Loooved this place! Awesome spot for a casual and chic meal without breaking your bank! It's a recently opened spot so I didn't have too high of expectations but wow--would totally come again. First off, super chic interior and very modern but retro. Plenty of seating indoors and out! Menu is also super easy to read and pick from. I was told their tacos and papa rellena (basically baked potato) were popular so I opted to get the lengua papa rellena since I've never had it before. OMG SO GOOD!! The lengua was PERFECT!!! Also loved that it was crusted cheese AND melted cheese inside. But honestly the highlight were their sauces. I think they had like 6 sauces on the table and they were actually spicy! I basically put all of them on my potato and it was delicious. Service was also great! The waiter frequently checked up on us and helped us order as well. Totally coming again~

Yelp
I saw a TikTok that they finally opened so we decided to check it out today. Their website hours says 8am. We were surprised they'd open so early for tacos. Come to find out, they only serve breakfast burritos 8-11am. We got here at 10:15 so 45 min to kill was ok. They need to update their website with this breakfast item in addition to the small chalk board they have on the counter. Exactly 11 we were able to order 3 papa rellenas, carne asada taco and chips & salsa. The salsa bottles they were all spicy so I passed on it. Chips were tasty. The color scheme is cute and goes well together. I like how they opened up the restaurant and just a nice setting. They had Spanish music playing in the background. The baked potatoes weren't as soft as we'd expect but they were tasty. The hub said he'll stick to the tacos here since he enjoyed the taco. As we exited, we ordered soft serve! Toppings we picked were churros and candied walnuts. Yum! I hope they do well here. There is a lot of foot traffic between VFair and SR. This is the 3rd establishment since The Row opened. The manager told us same owners as Suspiro and el Jardin located at the other end. They decided to change the previous taco restaurant in this spot.

Yelp
Today was their official opening day so hopefully they improve over time Carne Asada Taco: 3/5 good homemade tortilla Breakfast burrito: 1/5 chorizo is too salty but decent amount of cheese Guacamole: 1/5 watery, lacks flavor Coffee: 1/5 terrible - do not order Great selection of salsas with good amount of spice Casual dining ambiance No line before noon so service was fast

Yelp
Excited to have a quick eats spot in Santana Row. Mexican City style tacos and easy to understand menu. The spot was clean and the staff were generally friendly. *Given that it was a soft opening, I am going to give some grace here and hope that it gets better with time but they were clearly trying to figure things out. The cashier struggled to ring up the order and then gave me the wrong number. The manager yelled for the food runner in a way that did not seem right. Then after dealing with the confusion of the wrong number, we were given chips and guac (which I paid for) and told that it was on the house so that we could try, silly. * There are multiple styles "Estilos" for Step 1: tacos, burrito, quesadilla, Volcan, and papa rellena. I suggest the Volcan which is a tostada like flat fried corn tortilla topped with cheese. Step 2 is meat selection. We had carne asada, suadero , and carnitas. The suadero was fire! Unfortunately the carne asada and carnitas were bland. The carnitas were also essentially minced and watery. The food was good not great but the salsa selection really made the experience. They bring out different salsas to try. Each one was great but my preference was for the toreada. It was like a more citrus forward version than the usual and was a value add similar to a chimichurri on steak. Overall the food was good and the salsas elevated it. I'm not going to knock them for the systems not being ready yet. I will come back in the future with the optimism that all the feedback will be implemented and that they can be successful in the space, which has seen other businesses come and go.

Val R.

Yelp
We keep coming back for the quality food and options! My new favorite was the carne asada bowl followed by the soft serve! Chips and guacamole are delicious as well! Ruth was especially helpful and super friendly! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I came by here for lunch today.I ordered the burrito al pastor ( marinated pork n pineapple n a diet Coke The burrito had rice, pinto beans n salsa n cheese.I ate somef of the burrito but couldn't finish it as it was Too spicy.I guess it was the marinade. If it hadn't been for the spice it would of been tasty. The lady who worked there gave me some of my money back Next time I might try the grilled chicken n see if that isn't spicy. The people who work here are plesent

Yelp
3.5 stars but rounded up to 4. The food is decent, did not seem truly authentic, but I'd say it's a step above Chipotle. Ordered a lengua super burrito $15 with guacamole (+$1.50) and a modelo negra $6. They have a nice variety of meats and vegetarian options. Meat was tender and plentiful, ingredients were well balanced, grilled tortilla, reasonable size. Pretty decent overall, but a bit pricey. It's probably as affordable of a meal you can get on SR though. Didn't get to try their tacos which are made with homemade tortillas It's an order at the counter, self serve, open seating type of place. They have caddys of sauce bottles you can bring to your table. 5 types of sauces total. Just 2 beers on tap and some pre-made draft cocktails, all quite reasonably priced. Lots of outdoor tables and some inside. Some with heat lamps. Self serve water station. Clean bathrooms. For SR standards, this is a decent affordable option for food and drinks. Think of an elevated Chipotle

Yelp
First time here, and ordering was quick on a Friday afternoon. You order at the front and I loved the decor. Very simple menu which is great for those who get overwhelmed with too many options. Food came out relatively quick. My husband and I loved trying all the salsa. The pinapple one went well with the al pastor. Definitely want to try the loaded potatoes next.

Yelp
Right at the front of Santana row next to yard house. Menu is good with lots of meat options, but the staff can occasionally kill the good mood the restaurant embodies with the open floor plan. The food can be pricey, soda is $5 and chips and guac are almost $10. It does have a very cute outside vibe. I love the quesadillas - that's the best thing on the menu.
google avatar

Sunil R.

Yelp
A new entrant to the Santana Row scene. This is an unassuming spot relative to the other restaurants on this strip. The ambience was clean and modern and the food was good. Bonus points for being open late. We could not get a table at the restaurants nearby on a Saturday night and were thankful to get one here.

Yelp
Good location on Santana row with outdoor seating to bring your dog. Unfortunately the food is not very good and expensive. My burrito was very small and not much steak. Mostly rice and cheese and that wasn't even good. I did like that they grilled the burrito. The chicken tacos were ok but fell apart. Maybe if they did double tortilla but they didn't even taste homemade. I don't think this place will last like the other 2 taco places here unless they lower their prices. Lots of competition on the street.

Yelp
Food was delish, fresh, and consommé was my fave! Their various salsas were diverse and so good--even though I don't like spice I noted the spicy ones as having depth of flavor! Will return soon! I've been twice so far.

Yelp
When I saw the menu, I had the audacity to ask if it was "like chipotle" I was humbled real quick. Get the Volcan. Get the tacos. Everything with a crispy edge was delicious. Try the sauces with the chips. Everything is authentic down to the lengua It will run you about 6-7 bucks per taco but that's expected in Santana Row

Yelp
The decor is so vibrant and cute which really pulled me into the restaurant to begin with. The menu is pretty simple just choose the type of meat you want. If i remember correctly, the tacos were $5-6 each which is really pricey considering how small the tacos are. The burrito is around $14 which is ok i guess for being at such a prime location. The food was just ok. Really small portions. Some of the salsas were really spicy which i love since i feel like a lot of places don't make the salsas spicy enough. I probably would not come back again, but if i were to come back again i would get the al pastor over the carne asada. The only really good part of this experience was the tortillas. You can taste that it is freshly made.

Yelp
Overpriced Mexican food. If you are going to charge more than a hole-in-the-wall type of taqueria then it better be worth it, sadly it falls short. The few positives were the fresh tortillas and carne asada. The tripas meat was inedible, either overcooked or reheated. Suadero meat is mostly pieces of fat, if you like that kind of thing, then go for it. Salsas were okay. The Guava and Raspberry agua fresca were flavorless. I had tripas, carnitas, suadero, and pastor tacos. Pastor was probably the least bad. Kids had asada and that seemed to be good quality meat. Service needs improvement as well. They bring out 2 tacos at a time and at one point they lost track of what they had delivered. Food didn't all come at once. You just don't get the bang for your buck that Mexican food is known for.

Yelp
This is a cute place with a fun but simple vibe. The aqua tiles are nice. The seats are pretty basicand no-frills. There is some seating inside and more outside. Selection of different sauces are presented in a metal box. There are three breakfast burritos available in the earlier part of the day. I tried the bacon potato, which has eggs, bacon, potato and cheese but no onions. You can use the sauces to spice it up. The tortillas are quite good and homemade. The potatoes are in smaller pieces and fully cooked, so the flavor is even with the cheese and bacon. It is not huge but a decent size, and the breakfast burritos are quite popular. The employees are cheerful. This place has it's own canned cocktails. Not fancy but good for a quick bite

Yelp
I love how it's outdoor seating first off. Just a casual vibe and the staff is super friendly. Now on to the food, Al pastor anything is delicious! I ate the tacos and totally forgot to take a picture. But the meat is super flavorful and makes you crave for one of everything thing it comes with. The salsa variety was pretty big. There's 5 different sauces you can add if needed for that extra spice! Highly recommend trying this place out if you're just wanting a small bite while shopping.

Yelp
Not bad. Not great. Just OK. Salsa varieties are good. Outside seating is nice. The pineapple salsa is unique and tasty.

Yelp
Food was good. We went a bit late, so they were out of agua frescas and low on sodas. It's extremely casual -like a traditional taqueria. I won't go out of my way to go again because Santana row is such a hassle to Park at, but overall it was good

Yelp
Came here for their soft opening. All the food items are reasonably priced and affordable compared to the other restaurants in Santana Row. The asada tacos were my favorite and their aqua frescas were really refreshing. I also really enjoyed their chips and guacamole, as well as their pina y serrano salsa. I wish they sold this salsa in jars! It's that good y'all. If you love sweet & spicy salsas, don't sleep on the pina y serrano salsa.

Yelp
Love this place, it's a fast casual restaurant. A great place to have beers and tacos with a wide range of salsa. (BEERS FOR 6 )! This place could create more opportunity if they add more entertainment/lounge outside to keep Santana row livelier. Kinda similar to El Jardin but make it a different vibe where people can socialize.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. I don't skip the "cebollitas asadas." They are delicious. The pastor burrito is a 10/10. Great place!

Yelp
Got the carne asada burrito. Omg. The most perfect burrito ever. It was so delicious. The tortilla, rice, beans, beef ...the hot sauces..everything was SO PERFECTLY GOOD! Perfectly salted. Perfect flavors. Not greasy or junky. Just full of flavor. The best executed burrito EVER!!! Surpassed all my expectations. The bathrooms are also clean and love how the sink is outside the actual bathrooms. Fun to watch the food being made through the windows. Especially the tortillas. Definitely will be back for more. SO GOOD!!!

Yelp
Breakfast burrito with bacon was very Just ok. Sauces also just okay. Chips and guacamole was good though. TikTok ads for this place setting expectations too high. The asada taco was ok. The Al pastor taco was really good though. Tortilla for both freshly made. Would come back for Al pastor tacos Al pastor burrito just ok Will try other things and adjust review as I try more

Yelp
The food came out fast, and there was a great variety of sauces to choose from. My favorites were the asada salsa and the pineapple serrano. The barbacoa taco had plenty of meat and came with a fresh tortilla. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The food was delicious, great homemade salsas and tortillas. The Al Pastor was very authentic. The vibe is awesome and the staff were super friendly. The prices are a little high, but you can't blame the owners. Renting a space at Santana Row can't be cheap and the crazy minimum wage is also not their fault. Do yourself a favor and drop in.
