Google
it’s crazy how amazing these tacos are, i literally went to this place two days in a row and i don’t regret it. this is probably the best taqueria in metro atlanta hands down. i love the size of the tacos and for the price, such great portions. let’s talk about the tacos themselves, sooo fire. 🔥 i tried the carne asada, al pastor, chorizo, and chicken tacos. the chorizo might be the best meat, the flavor on it is so amazing, the chorizo is so elevated! i also love the green salsa here, put that on all the tacos. this is an amazing place to come grab a bite and eat some delicious authentic mexican food.

Google
Fantastic place it was so good I ate there 3 days in a row . I recommend them.

Google
The food is amazing. Service is fast and friendly. I’m there AT LEAST once a week. You can’t beat the quality and taste for the price. 4 tacos for less than $10. My absolute favorite place for authentic street tacos. You won’t be disappointed.

Google
Stop your search for the best Mexican food near Tucker because it is here. San Pancho is ridiculously delicious, cheap, and fast. I went back after I was wowed by their quesadilla and tried other items and not a single one disappointed. That's on top of the well stocked salad bar of garnishes and sauces to customize your already excellent food, and the outstanding friendly service. If you're not picking San Pancho for your Mexican food run you're not getting the best in this area.

Google
The food was so delicious and authentic. The place was a bit small but quaint. You can sit down or carry out. Very nice

Google
The service is great! They speak both Spanish and English. The line was out the door when we got there, and everyone was quickly attended. We got tacos and a burrito, but the tacos definitely stole the show. Totally recommend this place!

Google
The best tacos around! Friendly and fast service.

Olga

Google
The portion for the price is very small the box is the size of the smaller leftover box $ 8:75 for nacho meat over price. The food have flavor but like I say overpriced

Yelp
The Dorado tacos are the best tacos I've ever had. Golden, crunchy, delicious. I tell everyone to go to this place. The service is quick. It's a good bang for your buck, as they do not skimp on portions. The cashiers speak English and Spanish which can be helpful.

Yelp
The steamed tacos, al vapor, are incredible! It's a busy place but very friendly and warm. Easy parking. Great salsa bar. If you're near, check it out.

Yelp
This place is so good!! We made about a 30 minute drive to try it out and when we walked up to the line out the door we knew it was a good sign. I got three tacos a la plancha (carne asada, al pastor, shrimp) and three tacos al vapor (cabeza, lengua, cachete). My boyfriend got the exact same assortment. They were all yummy but the al vapor were our favorites. Will definitely be back here!
google avatar

Yelp
I was very impressed with San Pancho! Its a very cute, small, and clean restaurant where you order at the front. We got our take out order like 5 minutes after we ordered, so the preparation was very fast! We ordered the super nachos with steak and two steak quesadillas. Portion size for the super nachos were appropriate for two people to share. I think the nachos were my favorite, I just wish I had ordered a spicy salsa to go with it. Quesadillas were good too! They add a lot of cheese to it which made it super yummy. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and I will definitely be coming back. I think the next time I go, I will order their tacos.

Yelp
I would actually love to keep this place a secret for selfish reasons but as a fellow yelper that loves to support local businesses, this humble establishment deserves all the praise and free marketing they can get! Located in a small strip mall in Tucker, Taqueria San Pancho (TSP) is truly a hidden gem that cannot be missed. TSP has a casual, laid-back vibe that is perfect for lunch with family or friends. While it might not look fancy like other ATL restaurants from the outside, the food and prices are absolutely incredible. The menu features a variety of classic Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, and tortas, as well as some lesser-known items that are definitely worth trying. The al pastor tacos are a must-try - the meat is juicy and flavorful, and the homemade tortillas are soft and pillowy. The carne asada burrito is also a standout - the steak is perfectly cooked. My favorite meat is hands down the cabeza (mix) though - while head meat sounds intimidating, just trust me and order a half pound of it. The beef is packed with savory flavor and will leave you feeling satisfied in every way. Also, when you order a certain meat by weight, the restaurant includes tortillas, cilantro, and onions with your order and you can help yourself to their self-serve salsa bar. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, but the staff are friendly, prices are amazing, and the portions are generous. Overall, San Pancho is my absolute favorite hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant in georgia so far. Hurry up and check it out!

Yelp
Place gave me food poisoning for the second time. They're doing something different in the kitchen now. Remember guys, people over profits. I'll never be back here again. I got the chicken tacos and shrimp nachos.

Yelp
I moved further out away from Norcross many years ago and where I'm at the authentic tacos still just don't hit no matter where I go. I will drive the 20-25 mins here just to have tacos that won't disappoint me. I got pollo (chicken) and carne asada (steak/beef) tacos and we split a big plate of rice. The pollo taco - 5/5 - the chicken is perfectly seasoned and very very tasty. A lot of places mess chicken tacos up but not this place. If a restaurant can do chicken tacos right they know what they're doing! Not overly salty, not bland, just perfect. The chicken is diced into pieces and not shredded just heads up. The carne asada taco - 5/5 - the steak tastes nice and a little smoky. Juicy and tender no tough pieces like other places. Not fatty from the taco I had today not sure about other days but I hateeee fat on my meat The rice is DE-LICIOUS and not dried out. It's moist enough and fresh not sticky. I'm pretty sure it's chicken bouillon and tomatoes blended and boiled but idk why this just tastes great here The chips and salsa is authentic tortillas cut and salsa is diced tomato onion jalapeño? Cilantro, it's not a red saucy salsa The salsa bar is pretty good, there's radish, limes, 3 types of salsa, Marinated oregano vinegary chili raw onions which aren't spicy like some other places. It looks like you can eat here under $6-10 per person I'm very interested in trying the nachos and hard tacos next time I'm giving this place a solid 6/5 they really hit the mark and more. I ate before I could take pics ‍

Yelp
Great spot for a casual meal. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table based on your order number. There's a salsa stand if you want to add more flavor but I thought was great as is. Generous portions, good selection and fair prices.

Yelp
After a few hours of running errands, I was in the mood for tacos. It was a dreary rainy day and tacos are a great way to end the day. I stopped at one of our favorite taco joints and grabbed a plate full of street tacos to go. Hubby always gets their Vegetarian burrito. Their prices are hard to beat and the food is phenomenal. The ladies behind the counter taking orders are swift and courteous and really keep the line moving. The self-service salsa/veggie bar is well stocked with all the accompaniments needed for perfect street tacos - lines, radishes, onions, jalapenos, and salsas. I personally love the orange salsa but the green comes in a very close second. We.typically grab our goodies to go, but the dining room is filled on most occasions so lots of people choose to stay and eat, too. Want great tacos - don't want to spend a lot - go to Taqueria San Pancho!

Yelp
They got a sweet new digital menu and they still make the best tacos in Tucker. If you don't like the food here, something is wrong with your taste buds.

Yelp
The Basics: This is authentic and the best quality Mexican food I have tried in Atlanta. There is not much to the dining room and there is no patio during covid times. You order at the counter and sit down at an open table. This restaurant is as casual as it gets and is meant for more of a quick stop in than a long meal. However, you must try the food!! Things I like: The food here is authentic and amazing! These are the best tacos I have ever tried. We tried the chicken, pork, and steak tacos and all are great and worth trying. They have corn tortillas that taste extremely fresh. We also ordered chips and queso and the chips are thick and crunchy. Must try taco spot for sure! Things I didn't like: There is not really an environment here to sit down and have a long meal and no real service. Also, there is no outdoor seating for the covid times. We ended up taking the food out to our car and eating it there. Overall, a very down to earth and casual joint in Atlanta, but with some of the most authentic Mexican food you will try in the area!

Yelp
It's truly a gem. It has been a favorite of mine since 2008. Tacos al vapor are a must & weekend menudo.

Yelp
Great food , extremely authentic can't beat the price too. Love stopping here when I'm on this side of town

Yelp
Great food. Mexican street food style and plenty-of tables for dining in. Service is counter style. Order and they bring to you.

Yelp
If you are looking for good authentic Mexican tacos, this place has them. This was our first visit and we got a sampling of each of the regular tacos, dorado and vapor, all excellent. If we're ever in the Tucker area we'll be coming by again.

T J.

Yelp
Don't even think twice, just go!!. Authentic, fresh and delicious with something for everyone. The price is amazing and the place is packed with families. Service was SO fast despite EVERY table packed on Easter Sunday Night! I wish we found this place earlier in our trip.

Daniel G.

Yelp
I love the food it was amazing. It tasted good the service was quick. The Ambiance was okay, I did not like how there was a fly ruining our food but overall the food and place was amazing I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
i always get the vegetarian burrito and i usually go to the one in roswell but since i was in the area i stopped by this location and got the vegetarian burrito. The guacamole was missing and they don't fill up the burrito it's mostly tortilla. i came another time because maybe they just forgot so i tried it again for the second time and still the guacamole was missing but this time they actually filled it up. if i'm paying for the burrito and all the ingredients it comes with it then that's what i should be getting.. do better

Yelp
Great hole in the wall joint that gets packed most of the times. Closest thing to California Street Tacos you will find in Tucker, Georgia. The menu is hard to understand, so I stick to the usual. At the time I went, the tacos are mostly $1.40 to $1.80 a piece depending on the meat you choose that is Chicken, Beef, Fish or Shrimp including the free toppings and salsa. The best Tacos are the Shrimp and Chicken once. The tacos are small so you can order 3-4 and be just right. The Pollo Asado and Carne Asada are the best. They don't serve complimentary Chips, which I take to mean that it's more authentic than your typical Taqueria. It would be nice if they serve some Guacamole too. If you enjoy spicy food, you have to try the yellowish green creamy salsa they have at the salsa bar. It's very flavorful with a powerful kick. I do feel like the Horchata had a little bit too much cinnamon, but it was still very good despite of it. They are pretty good for your buck and tasty. I will definitely go again and it's not too far from my work place. Staff at this location are very humble, the place is clean and service was friendly and to the point. The place is shared with other businesses in the shopping plaza, so parking is free and ample. Get your food to-go if you have a large group of don't like crowds. The line at the register, any given time can be at or out of the door. I promise you'll be back again way sooner than you think. Overall enjoyable and If you haven't tried them, I would highly recommend this place. Really laid back atmosphere and everyone seemed to be bilingual. I'm so happy I gave this place a try, it's truly what I have been looking for in an Mexican cuisine.

Yelp
As someone else mentioned, the hard shell tacos are legit! Came here after seeing Taqueria San Pancho in a strip I visited for Thai, I came back the next day for Mexican and boy oh boy, i'm happy I did! First thing you'll notice is this place is small, and often it's jam packed, typically with mostly spanish speaking locals.....yep this place is legit! Prices here at San Pancho are almost unreal. Soft shelled tacos will set you back $1.37 each Hard shell tacos are just a little more at $1.99. I decided on getting the following: Hard shell carne asada: ($1.99) Hard shell chorizo: ($1.99) soft shell pollo asado ($1.37) soft shell Carne asada ($1.37) soft shell Chorizo ($1.37) Soft shelled tacos came with diced onion, and cilantro, while the hard shell tacos came with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese and a layer of refried beans. From bite one, the tacos were a dream. I mean the flavor here was rich, bold, and stayed with you with each bite. Seriously guys, I took a bite of the hard shell taco in the car, and that car did not crank until the two hard shells were devoured! 5 tacos for 8 bucks? It's well worth it! Located in the County Line shopping center, parking here is shared with the other shops/restaurants, and while it's not huge, it's usually enough parking to go around. Delicious food with tacos that are worth every penny and bite!

Yelp
For my last review in 2020, I am gonna say a few words about Taqueria San Pancho. Much has been said by all the reviews you see before this. I will echo that these tacos are good. The establishment is no-frills , tiny and almost always jam packed. My favorite remains the Fish , Shrimp and Chorizo. There is a dazzling array of items on the menu and you should start with the Fish, Shrimp and Chorizo. They are small, and by the time you are done with these 3, you would have made up your mind. No stress. On the right, you'll see the DIY salsa and picante stand. You should sample some of these, but do us all a favor.. get the salsa and step out of the way cos I might be waiting right behind ya. After your second visit, your goal is to minimize your time in the line. You should be 100% ready to order what you want before you get to the counter. Should you falter, .. then see rule above.... get Fish, Shrimp and Chorizo....Cos I might again, be waiting right behind ya...

Yelp
As my friend says... BUSSSiNNNN!! BEST TACOS. 10/10 RECCOMEND 100% My favorite are the tacos de cabeza (head lol) You HAVE TO get them all the way- with cilantro, onions and salsa..otherwise it just doesnt hit right!
google avatar

Dylan M.

Yelp
I really enjoy their pastor and carne asada. Also, very good prices. Meats and salsas are better than El Rey de Taco imo. I've been struggling to find any decent carne asada since moving here from San Diego, but I must say San Pancho is giving out the good stuff!

Rahman R.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Love this place. It gets busy and there is a reason! The food is good and affordable.
google avatar

Yelp
Get a pound of meat it comes with tortillas cilantro and onion to make Tacos at home.

Rezwan R.

Yelp
Great spot for tacos. Their breakfast burrito is also killer. The great combination of good prices and awesome food is offered here. The service is very fast. People here are too busy to be extra friendly sometimes, so keep that in mind. They do not have dine in as of now. Carpe Diem with your taste buds good people.

Guy W.

Yelp
This place is the real deal! Super fast and friendly. Absolutely no frills, exactly what you need. It's like the best taco truck in L.A. but in brick & mortar form.

Divaday A.

Yelp
The place is small but the tacos are so good. They are usually pretty busy too but you will get your food fast and it's very fresh. Highly Recommend. Fresh and authentic.

David D.

Yelp
Solid choice for a taqueria. Great flavor, fast service, and a great menu to choose from. It's my "go to" taqueria.
google avatar

Bryan R.

Yelp
Very popular with the working crowd. Food is authentic and served hot. The line can get long but be patient. Lots of "to go" orders which is what I will be next. The "super quesadilla" with carne asada was tasty and would order again.
google avatar

Monica G.

Yelp
This place is my go to for Mexican food! Authentic Mexican food! Tacos are amazing and so are the nachos! Meat is tender and Horchata is good.
google avatar

Javier M.

Yelp
First timer. Had the steak burrito. Was very good. Served nice and hot, good balance of ingredients and they actually wrapped it properly. I'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
These are THE BEST authentic Mexican tacos that I've ever had!!!! The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza in Tucker. It's very casual and no frills. It's ideal for grabbing a quick lunch. They offer a variety of tacos, nachos, burritos and sides. They also have lots of proteins such as chicken, shrimp, fish, chorizo, pastor, lengua etc. I usually order the shrimp and carne asada tacos. One of my favorite things about this place is that they allow you to have the option to have flour tortillas. Most authentic Mexican taquerias only offer corn tortillas. The flour tortillas are delicious and homemade. They also have hard shell tacos (taco dorados) that are super yummy. They include refried beans, cheese and lettuce. All of the tacos that I've had here have been extremely flavorful. There's also a salsa bar stocked with pickled onions, jalapeños, radishes and various salsas. They're extremely affordable too. Most tacos are under $2. There is an up charge for flour tortillas, but it's totally worth it. If you're looking for a delicious, cheap an quick meal, get here ASAP!
google avatar

Kai D.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely savoring! I can honestly say once you eat from here you will easily be a repeat customer! I always order the supreme nachos with shrimp and the shrimp is seasoned to perfection! Every bite was better than the next bite! I ordered the next day to compare the same consistency and to my amazement it tasted the exact same way! Talking about it now is making me want to place a to go order right now! You are honestly getting a quality food for your bucks.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
best Tacos i had in a long time and the price definitely reasonable. i wish i would have gotten more shrimp tacos for later...
google avatar

Stacy A.

Yelp
This place was ranked #2 in Atlanta Magazine. Clearly someone paid for that rank. Drove all the way to this shithole hoping for an amazing and authentic Mexican experience. Taco Bell is better! What a joke. The tacos are super small and their specialty "vapors" just meant steamed. Zero flavor! Beans are made from a powdered mix.
google avatar

Jamila P.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Came on a Taco Tuesday and enjoyed a beautiful meal for a under $7. I had two chorizo tacos, one pastor, and one carne asada. I loveee chorizo and theirs was flavorful and delicious. All tacos come with onions, cilantro, and salsa. They have green salsa as well . There are also fresh juices and horchata. I had the tamarind juice and it was really refreshing. I cant wait to go back and try the nachos!

Libby F.

Yelp
The absolute best tacos in and around Atlanta. I cannot recommend the chorizo more. The prices are fair and the portions are huge! I recommend their Chico platters for DIY tacos at home!

Joseph A.

Yelp
Very good spot. Cheap tacos, friendly staff, delicious food. Salsa bar with onions, jalapeños, sauces, radishes. They recently upgraded pictures of menu, as well as new display. Would recommend 5/5 for price and quality
google avatar

Pog H.

Yelp
Ok the food here is affordable please keep that in mind. That being so the food doesn't seem to be always the best. The Barbacoa was dry the steak I had there was excellent as was the chicken. I would add some pineapple to the menus as well.
google avatar

Paula K.

Yelp
Wow! Glad we checked out this place while we were in the area! Thanks to all the great Yelp reviews, we had to give it a try! The restaurant is in a strip mall and is pretty small. There is indoor seating, and as it gets busy with folks waiting in line, it can get tight. The staff was helpful and assisted me with ordering (so many choices!). I decided on the tacos. 1 chicken taco and 1 shrimp taco (both on flour tortillas). Omg.....YUM!!!! The chicken was very tender and the onions were so awesome, they were in some sort of sauce. Omg, i loved it!! The shrimp taco was delicious as well. I have had authentic tacos before (at various locations) and unfortunately the chicken seems overcooked and almost crunchy - not here....its nice and tender!!! I was so happy to see that! Onto the chips and salsa....wonderful!! The salsa was so fresh and yummy. At first when i saw the chips i thought they might be overcooked (as they looked brown). Nope, just delicious!!! My husband had the nachos. He liked it but wasn't raving about it like i was! :) Will definitely be back! (On the way out i talked to a customer who said he was a first timer the day before, and was already back the very next day!). That definitely tells you something! ;)

Yelp
Authentic Mexican style tacos. These tacos remind me of the tacos you get in Los Angeles at the food trucks. Really good and very flavorful! 5 stars across the board
google avatar

Leeann S.

Yelp
Best tacos in the Atlanta area, best prices too! Very classic. Tons of choices too! I always get Al pastor and cachete (beef cheek). The salsas are great, the bright red one is very spicy but the other two are not. I got three tacos, chips and salsa, and a glass bottle coke for $11.

Yelp
Thank you Yelpers for consistently delivering great reviews that help me decide my daily food stops, because this location right here... This location here... is AMAZING! Sorry for yelling at my readers in all caps, but you don't understand. My love for hidden gems is exhilarating. San Pancho is tucked away in an older shopping plaza that I have never taken a second glance at. However, as the days get shorter, in the winter, cooking has become slightly a hassle. So when I run across a restaurant with great reviews and a slightly better price point, why not try it. As you walk into San Pancho you immediately notice the intimacy. The tables are packed closely together and within just six steps you have made it to the cashier. There is a menu above the cash register and there are various handwritten signs, written in Spanish, that tell patrons the specials and rules. When I saw the handwritten signs written in Spanish I knew it was destiny. I knew that the food would be authentic and cared for. Another, important piece was the amount of native persons eating from establishment. It lets you know that the food is authentic. I ordered the regular burrito and the chicken fajita plate. As I waited for my food I took a stopped into the restroom. The restroom was so neat and clean I was impressed. Great job. As I walked back to the seating area I got a glimpse of the salsa bar. I have never seen a salsa bar so unique. Their were radishes, limes, sauteed onions in chilis, and various salsas. There was also little cups to place the salsa in, but if you want a little more ask the cashier for a plastic bag. The plastic bags are great for on the go dining experiences. *Entree: Chicken fajita plate The fajita plate came loaded with rice, beans, a small salad, guacamole, and the most delicious sour cream ever. There is something about Mexican sour cream that drives me insane! I ate this with a touch of the lime and radishes I got from the salsa bar and I went to town. *Entree: Chicken burrito The burrito came wrapped in a large soft tortilla. Filled with chicken, beans, rice, and veggies. This meal I actually took to work the next day and my oh my was it worth it. The burrito didn't even make it to 12:00 lunch. I looked at the time (10:45 am) and said it's 12:00 pm somewhere. This burrito was everything. Overall this restaurant deserves an A+. The women's bathroom was exceptionally clean, service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the salsa bar was truly unique (radish, limes, sauteed onions, and salsas). Pitfalls, the inside of the restaurant is slightly small, but with food this good who cares what the inside looks like.

Yelp
Excellent! Shrimp platter with rice and beans was delicious. My wife said the vegetarian burrito was awesome and tasted so fresh. The place was very busy around 3pm on a Sunday. Tight quarters. Nice salsa bar but the place is so tight that it's hard to even get the salsa from the bar.

Yelp
HOLE IN THE WALL TACO SPOT THAT HAS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD, GREAT PRICES, GREAT SELECTION & GREAT SERVICE. Have you got in your car yet to go? Not yet? Crazy... lol, this is my absolute favorite Mexican food spot in Georgia!! It's taken me 10 years to find something to satisfy my California standards of authentic Mexican food and THIS IS IT. Missing my pickled carrots but still... everything else is loveeeee. Located in a small shopping plaza, so it's easy to miss but plenty of parking & easy to get to. I've had their carne asada nachos, shrimp nachos, shrimp tacos, carne asada tacos, chicken quesadilla, carne asada burrito & pastor tacos. OMG to it alll. The flavors, perfect! The salsa they include with the tacos, perfect! The portion sizes, perfect! I mean... when you walk in & see everyone else's plates you will just know you are in the right place.

Yelp
Amazing tacos, nachos, tortas, and the best thick green sauce (spicy). I almost always get the tacos de cameron on flour tortillas and I squeeze lime over each Taco and add the thick green sauce. It gives me life. Lol. I am so happy I work 10 minutes from their Roswell location and I live 10 minutes from their Tucker location. The food literally tastes the same at both locations. I gave 4 stars because it is a very tiny spot. When they are super packed, it can take 30 minutes to get your food. So here's me TIP.. "CALL IN YOUR ORDER AHEAD OF TIME." Definitely worth the time. Very inexpensive as well. Let me know if you try the shrimp tacos exactly my way and I hope they give you a foodgasm. You're welcome!

Yelp
I love this little spot--loved it more when you could sit in there but COVID is ruining everything. Luckily their food doesn't disappoint even when you bring it home (or greedily eat it in the car as I've done once or twice). I love the tacos. They are small and authentic so when you eat 10 you don't feel that bad (just kidding I think 5 is my limit) But my new favorite right now is the chorizo nachos. OMG I dream about these things. Perfect cheat meal and always delicious. Service is always great and very fast - and don't feel bad if you're a gringo like me- the staff always knows what you want and can recommend their favorites.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food. Ordered fish tacos and chicken nachos. The food was delivered quickly to our table. Everything had good flavor. The restaurant is very simple. I'll be back.

Yelp
I've been coming for years and I've never been disappointed. I always leave full and happy and daydreaming about more pastor. Or steak. Or anything from there really. It is so good. That's all there is to say. I love you San Pancho. Don't ever change.
