This was a great restaurant! My first time there and it did not disappoint! It is a somewhat unique dining experience. You order your food at the window. Then tell a server what drinks you want and they bring them to your table. You don't pay until you leave, on an honor system. Food was excellent! I would definitely go again next time I'm in town.

This is an example of high prices don't always mean better food. This was one of the best meals I've had in weeks, from a place that charges less than $2 a taco. The service and manners of everyone on the staff I had interactions with were excellent! Five overstuffed little tortillas left me overstuffed as well. I had the Steak, Tongue, Tripe, Cabeza, and Al Pastor. If you can, swing by here!

There are tacos and then there are TACOS!!! Taquitos West Ave is the latter. Their tacos are so out of this world delicious that in the two and a half days I had in San Antonio I ate here twice. In fact, these tacos are so unbelievably good that my wife, who believes nothing deserves a Google rating of a five, argued that these tacos deserve higher than a five!! So, to put it simply, go here and eat tacos; I recommend the Al pastor, chorizo, and suadero.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and it exceeded our expectations. We definitely have plans at coming back next time we are passing through because the al Pastor tacos will live rent-free in in my head they have an assortment of Mexican drinks and certain drinks on tap. They have plenty of meat options, but you cannot go wrong with any of them.

This place is amazing! The tacos are delicious and they have a lot of meat variety to choose from. So good and so cheap!! The service was amazing as well, instead of getting up to get more tacos, the worker got our order for us and was very helpful. 10/10 recommend this place! Definitely worth the drive!
