We found Taquitos West Avenue on a best-of-San Antonio Reddit post, and it lived up to, maybe even exceeded, the hype!
Rolled in around 3pm on a Thursday and didn't wait long. You order first, get seats, then pay on your way out (option to order more from the table).
We started with 3 suadero (brisket), 3 al pastor, 1 cabeza and 1 tripas. The al pastor and tripas were our favorites, and we ordered 2 more each after. We've had street tacos in LA and San Diego, but the flavor and meat to tortilla ratio on Taquitos' tacos was rhe best.
12 tacos and a soda between two people came out to 30.26$. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There's some parking around the building; people are in and out pretty fast.
Wish we had an extra day in SA just to have another meal here!
