The 17 Best Restaurants In Napa - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The patio at Tarla is a great place to relax after a day of wine tasting, and for Happy Hour, where you’ll find $7 glasses of wine and delicious bites like the spanakopita. There’s an open-air dining room with first-date potential written all over it, plus private dining rooms that feel like wine cellars if you’re with a larger group. Try the flaming saganaki and split the pan-roasted branzino—that way you’ll have room for the kebabs. They’re all delicious and served with a fantastic chimichurri sauce." - Christina Julian

The 10 Best Bites at Napa’s BottleRock Festival - Eater SF

"Tarla’s gyro isn’t your standard festival or fair gyro. It was big (easily shared between two people) and fresh, the meat was cooked to perfection, and they were more than generous with the tzatziki — though a little light on the spicy aioli. Tarla also sold the perfect pick-me-up snack: a whole container of hummus (with smoked paprika oil and roasted pine nuts) and vegetable sticks for $7." - Jess Lander

Google
Good spot for dinner. We shared the eggplant, lamb shank, and chicken kebab. The lamb shank was very good buttery and tender. The chicken kebab was nothing special, just average. The eggplant dish was excellent. They also have a good kids’ menu with pizza and fries. Complimentary pita and olive paste are offered as well. The price point was a bit on the higher side, but the portions were very large. We came without reservation.

Google
The atmosphere here is like you are in Greece. I love all the glass and the wait staff were excellent. We ordered the hummus, calamari, and fries. Loved the hummus, fries are more like papas bravas, and the calamari are just the rings. The half chicken with orzo was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The mac and cheese was quite buttery more than it was cheesy. The lamb burger was said to be one of the best he ever had and the unfortunately the branzino fell short. It was a little too dry for such a buttery fish. Would highly recommend this place for the food and atmosphere, but make sure you have a reservation, and for any parties larger than six they will not split checks but you can split evenly per cards.

First time here. Was enticed by the decor and menu. Unfortunately, no food pictures. Yet, food was superb. We had the Turkish versions of French toast and egg Benedict (short ribs hash) and both of them were excellent. Tons of flavor and plenty of food. Hummus was a good choice too. They do bring pita bread and olives to the table as compliments. The Turkish coffee was also a highlight. Really appreciated that the place manager came to our table to check on us. The decor of the place is something unique and in good taste. Overall, great spot. Will definitely try it for dinner too.

Google
Tarla provided a great lunch experience. The Mediterranean atmosphere is great. I had the salmon bowl and it was delicious. I loved the mild Tzatziki spice with the couscous and Brussels. My partner had the Lamb Kebab with the creamed zucchini soup and it was great.

Google
Good food, 🥘 good desert choices, bar looks decent, not so great checkin, good service. It's on the Main Street, parking can be challenging, they made valentine day special by giving rise to every woman, which was delightful. Portions are big, we did corkage, so just enjoyed champagne, 🍾 but they seem to have good cocktails, which I love! ❤️

Google
The food was very nice and the service was not up to the mark. Requested a high chair for a small kid with 2 people, both agreed to get it but none of them got it. They made us sit outside with a small kid , that's fine but they agreed to get a heater near the table but we were not arranged till the end of our meal even the high chair , till we had shown our unhappiness with it.

Google
I had heard a lot about the place and was looking forward to trying the lamb shank. It was dry and chewy. Most likely it was late and they had started to dry. The people and service were really nice The food was underwhelming

Google
I think I found my favorite restaurant in Napa! Food: it’s so delicious that I don’t know where to start. The salmon is probably the best I’ve had for a while in Bay Area. The tomato sauce for the pasta is fantastic! And then the dessert…I don’t have sweet tooth, but this coconut Kunefe is absolutely worth waiting 10-15 minutes to try! The shredded coconut is fabulous with crispy and gooey texture, and the citrusy flavor within balances everything! Service: the manager is warm and welcoming. The staff waiting on our table is helpful and had his full attention to the dining pace as well. Ambiance: music is great with the exotic Greek vibe, chill and relaxing. It’s comfortably quiet to talk and enjoy delicious food! Highly recommended for couples dating.

Yelp
Excellent food!!! Came for lunch with family. The selection was awesome. The octopus salad was great - tender octopus, flavor with arugula/beet/and slices of apple/oranges, and amazing chickpeas. The crab sandwich and branzino sandwich were flavored well. The dubai chocolate with turkish coffee to close the meal. Amazing! Will come back again.

Yelp
Excellent food and service, staff were quickly accommodating to switching our reservation from outside to inside. Portion sizes were large and the quality and taste was there. Pricing is standard for downtown Napa. They carry some classic Greek dishes (saganaki!) but unfortunately they don't have moussaka at lunch time as the lunchtime menu is limited. The staff says you'll just have to come back for dinner!

Yelp
Quant restaurant in downtown Napa. A great place to stop for an appetizer or a dinner. Highly recommend their salmon or beef short ribs. Lot's of menu options. Bartender makes well balanced cocktails, good wine pours and coffee drinks. Parking nearby. No complaints.

Yelp
Tried out Tarla for dinner while staying at the Andaz Napa. The roast chicken was so tender- we were pleasantly surprised. The gyro meat was also very flavorful and tender. We also really enjoyed the 3 dips. Service was good. Very nice ambiance.

Yelp
Decent spot and just what we needed before a show at the Uptown. Came in with no reservation on a Friday night and they were super welcoming and friendly even though the place was super busy. Sat outside by the heater which was fine. Had the zucchini cakes which were just excellent. Crispy and delicious with an awesome sauce. Then had the lamb kebab which was good but pretty expected. Would have liked some more sauce or dip or something. Overall decent food and pretty fast service for a busy night. Only issues were a super bitter sangria (there's supposed to be fruit juice in there, right?) and a weird server who had a very strong opinion about how we should drink water.

Yelp
Made the trip from Sacramento to Napa to finally check out Tarla, a spot that had been on my list for a while. It's a cute place to catch up with friends. Very casual, yet the interior decor gives it a more upscale vibe. I believe the owner or manager personally greeted us, which was a thoughtful touch, and our waiter was kind and patient as we waited for the third person in our group to arrive. Two of us ordered the Crab Sandwich, and it did not disappoint. Fresh and flavorful, it was like a BLT (yes, there was bacon!) with a generous addition of crab. Easily one of the best crab sandwiches I've ever had. Though the sandwich comes with fries, I swapped them for a salad, which was fresh and delicious. Tarla is a lovely spot in Napa that's worth visiting at least once!

Yelp
Originally I wanted to go to Grace's Table on January 24, 2025 (during my birthday weekend) but they were closed. So I looked on yelp to find the next available restaurant and I've found this place. I also went here on a Friday and it was pretty quiet. When I walked in, the ambiance was amazing and very pleasant. I sat the bar; I ordered a Prosecco and the pan roasted salmon plate. When I say everything was gone off the plate; I ate the whole thing. It was so delicious; I would definitely come back again. The bartender, employees were so kind. Thank you for the great service; you've given me during my day in Napa to celebrate my birthday weekend.

Yelp
Always a great vibe at Tarla. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is great, I'm a big fan of the soups and the rice dishes with lamb. The flavor is tremendous. The hummus and pits is a great choice for a starter. The place can get hot and cold - so dress to stay comfortable depending on the weather.

Yelp
Tarla is located in downtown Napa and is a Mediterranean Bar and Grill. Tarla, meaning "field" in Turkish, implies the fertile expanse of earth that can provide for the people around it. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. I have ate in both and both are amazing options. They provide local, seasonal, and organic food and it is all very fresh, delicious, and healthy for you. The food originates from Turkey and Greece and all of it is so tasty and food. It is also great knowing that it is good for you! The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant has an inviting feel to it and the outdoors has a more casual feeling to it. I would recommend getting reservations in advance since this place was busy both times we came here! We look forward to coming back the next time we are in downtown Napa.

Yelp
I enjoyed my dinner at Tarla. This restaurant has some really unique dishes on the menu from different cultures around the Mediterranean. Our server was a little inexperienced, however sweet, friendly, and patient which made up for it. The ambiance was warm and comfortable however we were seated near the door and felt a rush of cold air every time it opened. My cocktail the Crimson Elixir was absolutely delicious, I had them make it without orzo since I'm not a fan. I would go back and sit at the bar just to enjoy this drink again. I had the shrimp daily special which was made Spanish style with tomato, potato and bread for dipping in the sauce. It was very good. The chef/owner came by our table which I thought was a nice added touch, the owners are Turkish.

Yelp
First time back to Tarla in 2025 and it did not disappoint! Had reservations on a Saturday night and upon arrival was promptly greeted and seated. Server was warm and friendly explaining the menu to us. We got the Greek Dip Trio, Kale Salad, BraisedShort Ribs & Traditional Baklava. Greek Dips were flavorful and fun way to start the meal. Kale salad was tasty and refreshing. Short Ribs were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Baklava was a nice way to end the meal because I do love me some pistachios. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Service was great as server periodically checked in on us and even the gm stopped by to see how we were doing. All very nice people here. Ambience+Service+Food=Great Night! I'll definitely be back!!

Yelp
Tarla is a very nice spot in downtown Napa with very good food. Nice aelection of meditteraneanbased dishes. Service is attentive and the hummis appetizwe is wonderful to start your meal.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this restaurant even drove in for my daughter's birthday, but it was just mediocre seem like the food was already pre-prepared and just warmed up or just maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Not sure the service was very nice though.

Yelp
GO HERE! We stayed in the area for our wine country tour and ate here twice it was so good!!!! If you favor dining outside you shouldn't have to wait long! But you must order the Octopus Salad! It's delicious a light dressing doesn't overtake the taste of the orange segments- beets- and other flavors abounding greatly in this dish. Hubby had lamb burger which he enjoyed and I had the lamb shank which was tasty for sure. Our server was not bad - our water glass ran empty a time or two and we waited quite the while to cash out but overall the food is the star! And of course good wine

Yelp
Best Mediterranean food my wife and I have had in awhile! We started off with the trio of babaghanoush, hummus, and tzatziki accompanied by pita and homemade Kalamata olives. Very fresh ingredients with a great, unique taste. My wife ordered the lamb shank and I ordered the beef gyro. Lamb shank was juicy and full of flavor. The beef in the gyro was cooked perfect and contained a mildly spicy sauce which was complimented well by the extra tzatziki sauce and fresh Greek fries. Attentive service as well. We will definitely comeback next time we are in Napa Valley!

Yelp
We walked in looking for a nice and light lunch. So glad we found this place. Our servers and the manager checked on us during our meal to make sure things were good. I had a delicious Branzino sandwich. The fish was served with the crispy skin still on and that was such a nice treat. I ate the entire thing! My husband got a lamb lunch entree and he liked it as well. The restaurant is very clean and air conditioned. Highly recommend this place for the food, service and ambiance.

Yelp
We found Tarla while looking for lunch in Napa. The table was outside on a beautiful day. Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow, but we did enjoy our leisurely lunch. Indoor included the attractive full bar. We enjoyed: Greek dip trio (Hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, pita, olives) , Branzino sandwich (Pan seared mediterranean sea bass, tartar sauce, arugula, onion, ciabatta with fries and aioli.), stuffed eggplant (Caramelized onion-red pepper stuffed eggplant, california chickpea rice and tomato sauce), crab sandwich (Crab meat, carrots, celery, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, ciabatta bread served with greek fries and spicy aioli), and delicious gelato. Give it a try.
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place for Mediterranean food so we gave it a try. We thought the food was ok. Service was ok. Servers weren't attentive. It's a small place so the tables are small and seatings are pretty tight. I don't think I will come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night for a birthday celebration. We made a reservation but probably didn't need one. Had the half chicken and orzo along with their famous pomegranate cabernet short rib, which comes with a tasty truffle and mushroom risotto. We enjoyed our food. We were disappointed on 2 things: first, they have a single shared bathroom (male/female) the bathroom was filthy and smelled of urine. They also did not acknowledge the birthday celebration at all even though it was mentioned in the reservation and mentioned to the server as well. We expected a little better service given the location but it just wasn't there.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for date night with my wife. The ambiance is really nice. Perfect for a date night or even just a casual night out. All of the food was delicious and the servers were very nice. It's a really nice place that I recommend for a special occasion.

Yelp
Napa Valley is as much a culinary destination as it is a wine destination, so naturally the expectations are high for restaurants in the area. Tarla is no exception to those high standards, and my hubby and I were excited to dine here recently during the Napa Valley Restaurant Week. We ended up skipping the Restaurant Week prefix menu though, and opted instead to sit at the bar for Happy Hour! The bartender, Ashley P., took care of us and was friendly & attentive. Since it was a Tue and early evening, it wasn't busy at all, so we were able to walk right in and find 2 seats at the bar. The Happy Hour menu offers up some nice drink specials and food as well, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and absolutely delicious! Plus, we were happy to know that there were vegan/vegetarian options, which I've come to realize is hard to find or very limited in Wine Country. Stand outs for us were: * Warm Hummus with Pita (sounds simple, but they level it up with smoked paprika, EVOO & pine nuts!) * Spanokopita (so light and flakey) * Tarla Sangria (refreshing and not too sweet) "Tarla" mean "field" in Turkish, as this is a Turkish & Greek restaurant. What makes Tarla Mediterranean Bar & Grill stand out even more is their strong commitment to only using seasonal, organic and locally sourced ingredients. We both felt like that really came through in the flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, modern (I particularly liked the light fixtures in the ceiling and orange barn door-like panels on the stone walls), and spacious. They also have a nice outdoor patio area if your prefer to dine outdoors and watch the Downtown Napa scene right out front!

Yelp
I love Mediterranean food and this place DID NOT, COULD NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We came as a party of 6 at around 1pm and they were able to squeeze us in! It was a great restaurant, clean interior, wonderful waitress, couldn't complain! Mac and cheese: it smelled of white cheese (my dad hates it but I did not mind it at all) it was pretty good for a Mediterranean restaurant and honestly I was craving Mac and cheese Chicken wrap; I LOVE a good chicken wrap and oh my god this is amazing I highly highly recommend it. Their sauce is great, the chicken is NOT dry so don't worry! Spanakopita: it's just one huge one!!! But it's so delicious!!! Warm hummus: it's hummus and it's delicious! They ended up giving us extra pita bread too! Overall, the food was so freakin delicious! I highly highly recommend it!

Yelp
Had a great lunch with a bunch of friends at Tarla this week. Located in downtown Napa, Tarla is located in a clean and modern space. Tried a number of apps and dishes and everything we ordered was excellent. Service was quick and prompt and made sure that everyone was happy with their dishes. The Saganaki was great with mild sweet flavors from their apricots and raisins. Their vegetarian and meat wraps were delicious and so large that nobody at the table was able to finish theirs. Cocktails were well crafted with a couple of our party ordering a second round of the espresso martinis.
google avatar

Yelp
We went for an early lunch, the service was great. Food was delicious I would love to go back and just have appetizers. We ordered the olive and dips appetizer and the zucchini cakes, oh my god they were delicious. Really great spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Branzino fish Entre was delicious! Kind of a small size fish for $37 dollars Great service though
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down will recommend and have recommended to several friends and visitors. Try the Tri sampler appetizer. The pita bread slices with hummus, babaganoush are tasteful. We also had the short rib entree and other dishes. We felt extra special when the Chef came out to greet us. Thank you Tarla!
google avatar

Yelp
Friday evening dinner at Tarla is the place to be. Modern art deco surround the interior. Brimming with cheerful chatter in the air, customers and waiters anticipate what the evening would offer. Service is prompt, courteous and attentive. Drinks are served punctually. Arrival of dishes flow with our table's pace. Exquisite flavors and delightful textures abound in Tarla's entrees, starters and appetizers. Husby's 64th birthday acknowledged with a signed card and a birthday pistachio baklava dessert centered with vanilla bean ice cream. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
One raining Sunday, we decided to go to downtown Napa to cap off our week. Our party of three ordered the lamb and chicken kebab and burger. All our dishes were good and served promptly. The service is also wonderful. They are attentive and efficient. The place is huge and there are plenty of seating. If you are in the area and don't have a reservation, you might be lucky like us that walked in. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
First time chillin' along First St in Napa and wanted a yummy outdoor spot to eat and enjoy the weather. The service is 4 stars but the food is just okay which knocked it down. I was with my family and while good, I was wanting homemade pitas not store bought and put on the grill. The portions were a decent size but it was a bit like amped up store bought food. I was expecting better. The mocktails were $14 while real cocktails were $16- make it make sense. My fam was happy so that's a plus but I wouldn't go back.
google avatar

Lynn H.

Yelp
I ordered the stuffed eggplant and cleaned my plate. It was so good! The place was not to busy when we got seated at 12ish, however it was jam packed when we left. Make a resrvation! There is indoor and outdoor seating. I hope they add more vegan dishes to their menu. Better for me and the environment.

Yelp
(Napa) One of the best hummus and the pita bread was fresh. Lamb gyro and vegetable portion goes well with the sauce. Potatoes were also very delicious

Yelp
I've come here twice in the past year, once with my best friend's family for her birthday and with my parents when we stopped by Napa for wine tasting earlier in the morning. The ambiance is cute and trendy and I've never found any fault in the food or the service. I tend to eat on the gluten-free and my parents are on low carb side so this menu has a ton of options to choose from with a delicious Mediterranean & Turkish fusion twist. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Napa area as long as you make reservations since it gets so full!
google avatar

Madhavi S.

Yelp
The ambiance was very comforting and we spend hours sipping our heavenly cocktails. We had just ordered appetizers and they were really delicious. The service was great and they gave us good suggestions.
google avatar

Samyukta S.

Yelp
My girls and I wrapped up our weekend trip to Napa with dinner at Tarla. While we really enjoyed our appetizers (flaming saganaki and the Greek dip trio), we found the main course items to be mediocre at best. The mousakka and branzino were both fine but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the short ribs which came out overcooked and dry. The server graciously brought out a new portion when we shared this feedback with him, but even the improved version was just average. Keep your expectations low, and stick to the appetizers.
google avatar

Sophie V.

Yelp
I took a bite from the beef & lamb gyro and it was life changing! It's one of those bites you'll never forget. Slap some tzatziki and the spicy aioli on there and BAM the perfect bite. I need a jar of that aioli. The service was amazing--our waters refilled, all our needs met. I didn't even think we waited that long for our baklava, but I guess they like to meet high standards and gave it to us for free with a "sorry for the wait". The calamari is also delicious! Great place for a nice dinner.

Yelp
My girlfriend (local Napa resident) and I recently visited Tarla on Nov 4th (2023) for a nice sit down dinner locally with reservations. Customer service was excellent. Ambiance was very classy and refined. We ordered - Glass of Prosecco Stuffed Eggplant White Peach Bourbon Smash Beef & Lamb Lavash Hummus App Bottle of San Pellegrino The one thing I really want to point out is that........ I would like to see MORE menu offerings (NOT just appetizer's) for vegetarians/vegans. I happen to have an allergy to mushrooms, so, I can't indulge in the White Truffle Mushroom Risotto. Soo.... I ordered the stuffed eggplant. I did really enjoy the rice that the eggplant was presented with. The rice was 5 stars on it's own. Flavoring was really good. The eggplant itself? Eh. Chewy. Not a very good mouth feel experience. Just...... disappointing. I would love to return here, of course, but unless I see an expanded offering of veggie style options that don't just rely on mushrooms as a main veggie staple, then it's a pass for the veg heads.... at least one with a real food allergy. Thank you for reading!

Yelp
Visited Tarla for dinner while visiting Napa. We were lucky to get street parking right across the restaurant. Ambience is totally holiday vibe! Love the crew, very professional and friendly. They didn't have non alcoholic drinks on their menu but when asked for it the waitress got really creative and got me a tasty peachy drink. We had tomato soup (soup of the day), dip trio, mushroom risotto and ended with flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious. Recommend to all my friends and fam whenever they visit Napa.

Yelp
Had the chicken kabab and humus for a starter. Hummus was alright. But the chicken kabab was very good. Was served with potatoes, carrots and cauliflower. The chicken was very tasty. Inside ambiance is dim, hanging Moroccan style lamps and friendly wait staff. They have sidewalk seating and outdoor heaters, a bar and table seating.

Yelp
Greek meets, meets Turkish, meets California Cuisine. Brilliant. These cultures excel at blending flavor and texture in their quality cuisine. This is a return visit. I don't get to Napa often, but my wife and I thrive on clean, healthy, vibrant and tasty foods. We had the opportunity to meet the power here years ago and hear their story and philosophy. I met Yusuf the owner then with Serdar. Tarla was a perfect creation. Chef Kadiye, a CIA graduate, came out to say hello after we finished a perfect meal. The building is classic for Napa. And the outside parklet was perfect of a warm day. The interior was classy and comfortable. Good for enough for date night. All the servers were busy taking care of a full lunch service. A beehive of activity. We ordered and shared the Calamari Fritto Misto plate, Greek Salad, and Zucchini Cakes. Each order executed perfectly with plenty of eye appeal. Impressive tender perfect calamari with that spicy aioli sauce. You are still on our radar and when in the area will visit you for sure, again. THE BUZZ: Parking - Yes. Downtown can be difficult. Yelp
Went later in the afternoon around 2pm on a weekday! This place was cute and vibe was also on point. I got the chicken plate and it came with a soup of the day and it was pretty good. Their fries were like a roasted potatoes with garlic which was good to me since I love me some potatoes! The service was pretty good and always checking in to make sure everything was good or if we needed anything else.

Yelp
Came here with a group of girlfriends. Excellent service from attentive wait staff. You get the sense of pride of place from the people who work there. The executive chef was walking around visiting with people at different tables and came over to us a couple times to check on us and share stories of her heritage. Loved that. I started the evening with the delicious, Southern Old Fashioned, beautiful ice cube and a well balanced well made drink with Mezcal. The orange rind adds such a wonderful aromatic experience-- I truly appreciate that touch. We were 10 at our table and yet service was efficient even though the restaurant was hopping. It seemed like two of us who ordered the lamb dishes were the last to get our food, and in fact, a few at our table had almost more than finished half their meal before my dish arrived. I expected fall off the bone lamb. But this was not that. It was a touch underseasoned. But nothing that a sprinkle of salt didn't fix. This is a savory and sweet dish in the typical Moroccan style. I feel like instead of the bulgur it needed to have couscous. But that's just a personal preference. We ordered pistachio baklava and the stuffed apricots among other desserts for the table. The baklava could have been a little bit more cardamom-forward, but aside from that it was delicious. The Chardonnay-poached apricots were stuffed with mascarpone and cream cheese and rolled in pistachios. A very unique dessert and not overly sweet. The mascarpone/cream cheese mix makes it heavier than it needs to be- but I think this dessert speaks to the Turkish roots of the Executive Chef. The apricot Chardonnay gelato that it was served with was stunningly delicious. It was mild flavored -- not punch you in the face sweet -- the perfect palate cleanser between different dessert bites. A delicious meal, even if the lamb wasn't as tender-fall-off-the-bone as it should have.

Yelp
My partner and I went yesterday and the food was delicious. My partner got the grilled lamb burger and I got the salmon carbonara pasta. Both dishes are delicious. The lamb burger was both our favorites and highly recommend. The servers and bartenders are very attentive. I suggest to make a reservation! Would come back :)

Yelp
We reserved a spot to this place for dinner on our visit to Napa. Our table was entirely vegetarian. We ordered Dolma, perssimon salad (special for the season), spanakotipa, stuffed eggplant, greek fries. Our server was kind enough to accomodate us for sharing dolma. The dessert we had was Kunafe (pretty and epic) chocolate baklava. Loved everything we ordered. The flambe cheese was an amazing experience The ambience was very casual and fun

Yelp
If there is anything you do with your weekend brunch plans, it MUST include the brunch at Tarla!!! I have been here a few times with friends for dinner, but the brunch is just as delicious. I feel like Napa lacks in brunch spots so this was a big win in my opinion. Our server was fantastic. She knew the menu well and made a few recommendations for us. After our meal, she gave us a card for a free hummus on our next visit. I had the Lebanese french toast, which had chardonnay poached Turkish apricots and raisins topped with honey, whipped cream and pistachios. Not too sweet and definitely didn't need syrup. To drink I enjoyed the pomegranate mimosa - bonus points for it not being sweet and remaining tart as it should! My boyfriend had the veggie omelet with a lamb kebob. To drink he enjoyed the Bloody Mary. If I had to knit pick anything on the menu, it would be the size of the Bloody Mary (very small in my opinion). I've already made plans to return so I can try the shakshouka!

Yelp
My sisters and I stopped into Tarla for a quick bite and were immediately welcomed with open arms. They were very considerate and intentional about their interactions with us and our server was really sweet! We ordered the Grilled Lamb Kebab Plate and can see why she asked us if we wanted to add another kebab to our order. The lamb offered was incredibly small for the price of the dish. The soup lacked flavor and needed a bit more salt and spices. The rice was cooked perfectly. Overall was an okay dish.

Yelp
Salmon dish at dinner was not right, fish cut smelled too strong and it tasted it not right. My wife confirmed it when she had a bite on that salmon cut. I advised Waitor and as a courtesy I told him that I wasn't going to eat the salmon because it was not right, but I was going to ear just the pasta. The waitor told me she was going to talk to the chef. Then I never hears back nor for the waitor nor from the chef or the manager. My total bill was only deducted $7.95 (I guess from the salmon cut).... I think customers deserve better. This is very disappointing, a nice restaurant location in the heart of Napa!

Yelp
Went for Napa Valley Restaurant Week Lunch Food - 5/5. Pita bread was warm with a delicious tapenade. The oil really infused the olive essence and the olives themselves added a delightful sour note. Everything on the meatball plate was fantastic. Chicken soup had the consistency of congee, with the spicy oil making the flavor similar to congee as well. The consistency was fantastic and had bits of umami chicken in every bite. Meatballs were tender, seasoned perfectly and had beautiful grill marks. The vegetables were actually the star of the show with each piece having a great bite and fried flavor. The medley was such a fun mix of textures and each having a slight sear really added to the experience. Their culinary skills were showcased again with the fried kale which was crispy yet not oily at all, maintaining the flavor of kale. Rice was fluffy and the hummus was smooth. Baklava was an absolute treat! Layers of filo and ground pistachios made for a really fun texture with a good level of sweetness and had the beautiful aroma of rose water. The vanilla gelato was unique in that it was creamy but had a stickiness to them that made the texture denser like an extremely smooth mashed potato. Absolutely amazing food! Service - 5/5. Incredibly friendly and professional staff! They were accommodating to us coming in just before opening, was always attentive, and greeted us with a wonderful smile every time. Value - 5/5. The kitchen here has great skill and showcased many of them in one dish. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were great. For restaurant week, everything came in at a very affordable $19! Fantastic value for an awesome experience! Parking - Street/Municipal Garage/Municipal Lot (Free)

Yelp
Went to Napa impromptu and hubby found this little gem! We went during happy hour and sat at the bar. Our bartender Ashley was super nice and can pour a drink! The ambiance was very sleek, contemporary, and modern. It was very beautiful. Now let's get to the fun part! We ordered Mac n'cheese, calamari & veggies, chicken kebab wrap, branzino, and the lamb plate. Let me just say that each dish was prepared beautifully. But, the flavors, oh my God, THE FLAVORS! The calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. No oily taste or residue. Came with a beautiful spicy aioli. The Mac and cheese...whew they are using some aged cheddar, Gouda, and Parmesan for real! Creamy and tasty! The chicken wrap pita was soft and sweet while the chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned plus the Greek potatoes were bomb! The lamb plate was the least fav but still very delicious. But, honey that branzino was cooked to perfection in a light lemon butter sauce with the most flavorful cauliflower, carrots, and Brussel sprouts yummy! Ashley asked if we wanted dessert and I couldn't resist. We ordered the chocolate baklava with vanilla bean gelato and DAMN, PERFECTION! It was an amazing dining experience! I never eat leftovers the next day and I ate these and it was just as good the next day! Put this on your list of restaurants to go to in Napa! Definite recommend!
