"Beer alert. This Fort Lauderdale brewery’s Dine Out Lauderdale lunch and dinner selections come with a 12-ounce brewski. A three-course lunch spread runs $35, and a three-course dinner goes for $45. Across the lunch and dinner menus, start with its Thai shrimp with a kick and end with its key lime pie." - Jesse Scott

Ambiance: Fun brewery near the river with a ton of great beers and food! Multiple seating options - including outside high tops, bar, and indoor tables. The service was awesome! Our bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. Wings were really good! I enjoyed their sour beer. They offer flights and also small pours (Which I like for being able to try a few!) Highly recommend if you're in the area

Visited one weekend while the market was open and had such a great time. The atmosphere was lively, with a great selection of beers and food options. Brewery offered some awesome live music that really added to the vibe. The place itself is very inviting, with a modern design and plenty of space, including lots of bar seating. It’s the kind of spot where you can hang out for hours.

Google
Im glad I found this place. I only had the chips, but they were delicious. The atmosphere was nice, indoor AC area and outdoor warmer area. Great selection of beers & food. The prickly pear sour was my favorite. The staff was extremely friendly however service was a bit slow. I found myself waiting for her to come back a few different times. Overall, good experience, would go back.

The beer here is always great, and it's a nice chill vibe. Bike club on Monday night is awesome as well. They often have events and live music. The food here is typically pretty good, but this past brunch experience was worth noting. The $20 beermosa option is lovely. The Hangover Cure tasted really good, but it was essentially a child's portion (see photo). 2 small pancakes and some chicken tenders. Not very filling. The steak n eggs were very solid. Delightful waffle fries. The Rick Flair sandwich was good, but very sweet. The bread it's served with is essentially French toast. So it depends if you're into that.

Google
Great brewery nearby the airport for both food and drinks! We had the chicken tenders and a burger - the tenders were some of the best we've ever had. Pretty large portion sizes as well for the price. Nice vibe as well especially when seated on the open front entrance area. Service was fine, average for a brewery.

Google
I really enjoyed the beer, the hospitality and the ambiance of the venue itself. I had the Deflated IPA, a New England Hazy IPA, it was excellent. They have happy hour from 4:00 till 6:00 with drink & food specials. Nice place with fairly adequate parking.

Google
This is my first time trying this place and it was okay. The menu is a bit annoying to read with all of the fun names. I ordered the beer battered fish and chips and as someone who has eaten a lot they were pretty good for beer batter. The fries were great. It's in a warehouse and has seating both inside and outside. It is dog friendly which me and my friends appreciated. The service was fairly quick and they gave my friend's dog a water bowl which was very nice. This place is a brewery so if that's your vibe definitely worth a try!

Google
Tarpon river provides consistently excellent and high quality food. Last time I went I ordered the jumbo shrimp with the fried pickles with a prickly pear sour. Everything was well flavored and perfectly textured.

Yelp
We went in on a busy night but were able to get a table within 5 minutes. There was a great band playing as well as an NFL playoff game on. Their beer is usually hit or miss but "Deflated" was good that night. This was our first time trying the food after they revamped the menu. It was a definite upgrade. I really enjoyed their old Brussels sprouts recipe but the new one is unique and delicious! I got the fish tacos and they tasted great and were filling enough. My girlfriend got the salmon and loved it. We split the jalepeno cheddar hot honey cornbread and just wow! Our server was the only one in the area and was efficient and friendly. We can't wait to come back for live music and great food!

Yelp
I came here for the trivia night on Thursday evenings. It's well run and there are a lot of teams competing. We had a great time doing it. I ordered the shrimp which comes with lettuce to wrap it in was disappointed because the shrimp was deep fried and breaded and it didn't say that on the menu. I'm not a Beer drinker however it looks like this place has a lot of great beers to try.

Yelp
We landed in Ft. Lauderdale HUNGRY and I wanted to grab a beer. @tarponriverbrewing hit both out of the park. The beer was great (LOVED the scotch ale) but the food...bruh. Leaps and bounds beyond my expectations. When we had to fly back on the 15th, we ran it back and devoured them ribs . Ryan was great; he gave great suggestions on beer and even gave us a few more places to try on our next visit.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Great beer and plenty of styles to choose from! I ordered a flight and the bartender was great at recommending options for me! The atmosphere was fun and I also enjoyed their wings. Definitely will be returning next time I'm in town!

Jeff D.

Yelp
This is a local brewery. A typical brewery, small place that also has some food. I tried their Prickly Pear Zinger Sour beer, it was very good. Then had a Deflated, if you like a hazy IPA, you will like this.

Yelp
I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and twins for lunch. Honestly, we didn't even have Tarpon River Brewing on our radar and only noticed it because we got coffee across the street. Parking for this brewery was a little difficult. They have a decent number of spots reserved for their clientele but a baby shower in the back room took up a lot of them. As for the brewery itself, we sat in the front which was open air to the street and I could also see a couple fermenters and lots of string lights. Beyond that they also had a cooler with their beer in it which you could purchase to go. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I went with a sampler here. At Tarpon River Brewing that consists of 4 different beers and I chose the beach bum, color your energy, curbside motorboat and deflated. I started out with the Beach bum which was a super pineapple forward beer from start to finish. That made it a very drinkable beer for me and very tasty as well. Up second was the Color your energy which had a nice controlled bitterness at the start before a smooth finish. Third was the Curbside Motorboat which gave hints of citrus before a super hoppy finish with some sweetness kicked in for good measure. Last but certainly not least was Deflated which was super smooth with a nice juicy finish that didn't linger too long. Out of the bunch I think that the beach bum was my favorite with the deflated coming in a close second. In addition to the drinks, my wife and I also had lunch here. We both ended up ordering the I YAM THE WALRUS although my wife added chicken to hers and then we also got our twins a side order of fries. The menu described our meal as roasted sweet potato, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, pickled onions, avocado, hard boiled egg and cilantro. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals with my favorite part being the roasted cauliflower with the sauce. Overall I enjoyed all of the vegetables though even if the $16 price tag for it felt a little high. The fries for my twins were also quite good. They were crispy on the exterior while soft on the interior and were seasoned perfectly. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While Tarpon River Brewing doesn't have an expansive food menu, my wife and I both enjoyed what we ordered and I thought the beers were pretty good as well.

Debbie M.

Yelp
Went here again and they've changed their menu. I had the A-salt and battered and it was excellent. The band playing Friday night was really enjoyable. Service was excellent.

Kendra W.

Yelp
Great location for events such as the Flamingo Flea! TRB looks like the typical industrial building when you approach, but inside, it is like a cute country porch wrapped house! There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy a draft and eats, whether apps or a nice burger. The staff is friendly, although it can sometimes be hard to get in at the bar and get going. I can always find something I enjoy. It's definitely worth a visit!

Babar R.

Yelp
Stopped by for the first time and WOW, the food, beer, atmosphere and service are impeccable. Special shout out to my server, Juliana, she answered all my complicated questions about the beers with a smile on her face and was extremely attentive and caring. She made sure my first time in was amazing!

Den P.

Yelp
We stopped here before our flight for drinks and apps, and shared everything--we were stuffed! The ambience was perfect with the doors open, letting in a nice breeze (which was much needed in humid Florida). We really enjoyed the service, and we'd definitely come back. Bonus: someone had their dog with them, which made it even more fun!

Kaitlin H.

Yelp
I love coming here to see what new beer they have to offer. The food is good and typical bar fair but they have their own flair. They always have something fun happening during the week. Parking can be a bit difficult to get or find at times so don't let deter you. It's very cozy no matter where you sit, but you can have a front porch feel to a more private area at the bar or barrel room. Definitely a great place and you will always have a great time.

Daren R.

Yelp
Were right in the center of Ft Lauderdale on a rainy Sunday afternoon but this cool Tarpon River Brewery is open and there were alot of patrons but open tables everywhere. Huge beer vats open for viewing. Got a table in the front patio area. Came here a few months ago for music trivia bingo during the week but wanted to try it on a weekend. Service was not wonderful, slowish, but the craft beers are cold and fresh. Ordered a very tasty Chopped & Hopped ipa 5% for $7. The "Big Ass Pretzel" was amazing with a side of beer cheese for $12. Great 1980's punk and new wave music playing and a live rock band called My Drive Home setting up their speakers to play at 630pm. Bathrooms were clean with hilarious placcards. Will be back for sure. Strong 4.5 stars here.

Yelp
I'd really like to give this place a 3.5, but that's not an option. My family and I were in the area at MODS and decided to stop here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. The brewery is quite large and has a really cool feel to it. There is a a covered open area (it has big garage doors) in the front, an enclosed bar in the middle, plus a huge warehouse type area in the back. The building has its own parking lot in the back and some side grass parking. It also seemed pretty kid friendly, and has several games sitting around to play. We ended up sitting in the front area by the garage doors, which turned out to be a poor decision due to the weather. It really stormed while we there, and the center area where you walk in and out (and where you need to walk to the to the restroom) flooded. I will say the waitresses were great about putting down mats and trying to mop it up, but it was still dangerous. My husband ordered a flight of beers and enjoyed almost all of them. My children got the kids pizza and the kids mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was super good! Very cheesy. The pizza was alright. I ordered wings in medium sauce with carrots and celery (paid a dollar extra for them, but at least they gave me a good amount). The wings were okay; I found them to be kind of fatty, but the flavor was good. I also ordered a side of garlic parm fries, which were awesome. My husband ordered grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings, which he enjoyed. I will say the main issue was the service. Our waitress was very friendly, but I think she forgot to put my husband's order in because I was almost done eating by the time his food came out. Luckily, we weren't in a rush, and he was able to snack on the fries, but it was still annoying. We'd probably come back since it's a cool spot, but I'm not sure that I would order food again.

Yelp
Whether you're going to watch football, basketball, playing trivia, or just hanging out with a beer, Tarpon River is always a good time. I love the different sections of the bar and how they create totally different atmospheres depending on where you sit. The food, while also a causality of inflation, is always good especially their beer cheese and giant pretzels. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the beer list is plenty. It's a brewery that isn't afraid to adapt and welcomes everyone. Yoga on Mondays and Trivia later on in the week also give this place a neighborhood

Judy S.

Yelp
I liked this place. It was easy to find. They have parking all around and I had a good time there. The place has a good, fun atmosphere. It's a place I could hang out. I felt very comfortable here and I am not a bar person. I was here for an event the Hocus Pocus fall festival. It was a well-organized event. I enjoyed it. They had many vendors and talented musicians playing. They had games and prices. It was fun. I made new friends. It was worth checking the place out and the ticket price. You also get samples of different things as in chips, cookies, and other things. I ordered the fish and chips. It was good. It came with fries. I liked the meal. I got a pumpkin beer. It was my first. I am still not a fan of beer. I was glad I tried it. The service was friendly and good. I enjoyed my time here. @tarponriverbrewing @yelpbrowardpalmbeach

Deborah W.

Yelp
Went to a bridal meet and greet there. I would never have an event there. Bad drinks, bad food. It was wet and cold. Ladies behind the bar had a bad attitude. Let me remind them.. the couple who picked your establishment and the drinks we bought paid your salary!!! $14 for a glass of beer!!! Ummm way too much money for a glass of beer in a plastic cup!!! So disappointed

Michelle T.

Yelp
Bella is the best!! Great recommendations, great service, super friendly. Food was good too. I didn't drink so can't give my take on the beer but my dining companions liked their beers (How the Stout Stole Christmas, Secret Woods Stout). Very dog friendly for you dog-lovers.

Lily K.

Yelp
So there are bathrooms (non-binary). There is parking alongside the building, and a small lot behind the brewery. There was an event so I parked across the street (metered 2.95/hr). There was an event happening at the time so the menu I saw was limited. But it looks like a bit of everything. Some burgers, chicken salad etc. I didn't ask about gf bread options but the wings did not look battered (and smelled fantastic), other than that glancing at the full menu (on their website) is the low rider bowl and the salads of course. Also the fries are also not bartered and their ranch tastes house made! I did try the cream ale one and it is not gluten free. It was very nice and light and dangerously delicious. They were all out of cider and have been told it's great. They also have large assortment of seltzers, specialty drinks and wines. They have a fun set up where there's an outdoor patio, a small indoor space, and lots of bar seating as well as a large open space in the back for live music and standing room. Very relaxed feel I would say the dress was casual. Good drinks, good food and relaxed feel.

Moriah P.

Yelp
I'm always a little skeptical of bar food, but this place blows away my expectations every single time! Let's start with the atmosphere. This place has such relaxing energy! It's the perfect place to hit up with my friends after a long day of work. There's plenty of open air and more enclosed seating available so you can pick whichever suits your mood on a given day. The selection of beers here is also really great, I usually go for the Deflated. Food is also AMAZING! Flavorful and fresh every time. You definitely have to come check this spot out, I guarantee you'll become a regular in no time :)

Jose T.

Yelp
I don't know how I hadn't visited Tarpon River Brewing before! I really enjoy craft beer and think this is a great addition to the local craft beer scene. I got a chance to check them out during happy hour, and it was a great time. The brewery gives you a homey feel as the bar is essentially a house inside the brew house. I got to try their Pilsner and the hazy IPA and they were both fresh, refreshing, and brought forth delicious flavor. I will return to Tarpon river again to try some more of their selection !

Rosa M.

Yelp
Came in for an event with the beauty booster team, and love the ambiance. It's a chill bar, they have beers for all your tastings. The bartender was knowledgeable in all kinds I was able to ask for her recommendations and it didn't disappoint. It's also pet friendly so what else can you ask for, It's the perfect combo

Geraldine O.

Yelp
We ended up here after our favorite nearby coffee shop called it a day. This place has an awesome vibe--super chill yet buzzing with cool energy. We arrived early and found a mix of families with kids and young folks with their furry friends. It was a fantastic crowd, and the staff was friendly and helped us pick out some great beers. We decided to be adventurous and tried a variety of craft beers. Some were hits, and others were misses, but that's par for the course when it comes to craft brews, right? We also dug into some spinach dip. It was good, but we thought it could use a little tweak. The cheese on top was a bit too chunky for our liking; we had to get creative with a knife to mix it in better. This was on a Friday, and they had an amazing live band in the back. The only downside was that the sound wasn't quite as rocking up front. So, you get to choose your own sound adventure here. But no worries, there's still good food and drinks all around. All in all, we're pretty stoked that we stumbled upon this spot. It's definitely going on our list of places to keep coming back to.

Ariana M.

Yelp
A brewery in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, brings something fun to do in the area. The space in itself is fairly unique, are you in a warehouse? Why is there a house inside the warehouse? The decoration is fun and slightly homey. Most importantly family and dog friendly! What most stuck with me was the witty menu descriptions. Each menu item was funny and really made you curious to read and possibly eat. For about $12 you get a flight of beer, allowing you the chance to try a bit of their brews. Great price !

Paige G.

Yelp
Beers are great. It has an open air indoor area and is your dog friendly which I love. The food is mediocre and is overpriced for what you get. I will continue to return though for the quality beers and service.

Michelle F.

Yelp
Super chill local brewery that has both inside and outside seating. It is cozy inside with dark woods and plenty of space to sit with friends or have a private party. The service was great, and since I wasn't very familiar with some of their craft beers, I was offered a few small sample tastings to help me decide. Parking is limited on the grounds out back, but after hours, there is street parking in the neighborhood. They are also dog friendly when bringing your 4 legged friends.

Lea D.

Yelp
Came here to check out a Fitness sampler! They had 6 different gyms come and do short workouts go give us a taste of what they offer. They had a bunch of different tables offering information, freebies, snacks, etc. and everyone was so welcoming. My friend and I did a good chunk of the workouts but it was exhausting. The room was large and fit a good amount of women in there for working out so that was nice! Even though it was open air room, it wasn't even that hot because they had some really big fans and ventilation. I would definitely go back here for a workout!

Sean M.

Yelp
Have been going here with the wife more and more lately. Whether you sit at the bar or table, the service has been great. All of the staff have been very personable and eager to take care of you. We've tried most of the menu and have not been disappointed. The house made hot honey sauce is incredible. The beers are excellent and they always have a very wide selection. Not a fan of the Hazy IPA trend right not, but they have the first Hazy that I actually like. My favorite on tap though is the Coffee Stout. They are dog friendly so we brought our year old pup out for some socializing and the staff brought her water and made her feel at home. Definitely check this place out for some great food and beer.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Delicious wings and fries, food is hot and fresh! Beer is nice and cold. Chill vibes, dim lightening inside, outside seating, always something to do such as event going on in the back part of brewery nice space.

i w.

Yelp
Really tasty burger and chicken sandwich (pictured) with crispy fries served hot. Atmosphere is casual with both indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive service. Very pleased.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
I have been here several times before, and the last time I was here was actually for a Beauty event last October. I will say, my favorite beer is there Honey Imperial Ale. I have had brunch here before, and my shrimp and grits dish was very memorable... In fact, I remember my partner's PB&J burger and that was also very delicious! And the last time I was there, I shared garlic parmesan fries with a new Yelp friend Lily K. It's a fun environment here, very casual and staff is always friendly. I like the events they host and would like to eventually attend their famous Flamingo Flea!

Monica R.

Yelp
My first time visiting this brewery and it was easy to find , not that much parking but makes sense because of the location . Love the style and the ambience of the brewery itself. The service was fast and they had good beers , wished they had more ciders for people who don't do bitter beers. I had the chicken sandwich with fries took a little longer than expected but it was fresh.

Robin M.

Yelp
Tarpon River brewing is exactly what it sounds like. A great brewing place in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Do not dress cute and don't wear a lot of make up and expect to sweat if you're going to go during any of the hot months in South Florida. Although inside the bar is air-conditioned, it's very small with probably about 30 or so seats so expect to be on the outside which is definitely covered. Highly recommend this place to go with friends and just have a good time enjoying life.

Jack M.

Yelp
Went last night for the music, stayed for the drinks & food. Honey love had me feeling loved for the first time in my life, ha. They have really good food such as the ribs & pretzel. Service was great, thanks lighanna

Wildhearts1999 ..

Yelp
So the drinks are great and that's why it got two stars. The food though is overpriced garbage. They went from being really really good , to too many things on the menu and none of them are good. They used to have a hamburger that had macaroni and cheese on top and it was spectacular. Now they have a hamburger for $20. that tastes like it's old and it's comparable to Hospital food. It comes with fries they taste like McDonald's old fries that are on the bottom of the basket. They were cold by the way. Everything seems to be smaller quantities and it taste bad. my husband used to like their brussels sprouts. Yo soy brussels sprouts and they were crispy and fantastic. The new brussels sprouts even my vegan friend wouldn't eat. We also had the queso which had a small layer on the bottom of the pan and we barely had enough to cover a couple chips which they put a couple chips with a paper liner in like a cup. It was terrible. I had a wedge salad, which was $14 and had not even a quarter of a head of salad. It was like a half of a wedge. If the waiters and waitresses didn't work so darn hard, I would've complained but I figured I'll just bring it up to yelp. I did notify the restaurant and they have yet to respond. They do get good bands in there so my suggestion to you would be eat before you go to the restaurant, and then have a few drinks while you're sitting at the table. The owner should really be ashamed of the food that was placed on the table.

Matt W.

Yelp
Today was an exceptionally great experience at Tarpon River. And the main reason for this was our server Elijah. What an absolute gem. More restaurants should have people like this working for them. We were sat down promptly and when Elijah noticed that we weren't seen for a couple minutes he sprung into action, bringing us water and getting our drink order in. He was attentive, funny, and really made our dinner here tonight something to remember. They have a new NEIPA called Spin Caster. If you love a good hazy IPA, get this beer. One of, if not the best IPA that Tarpon River has made.

Tyler H.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to visiting Tarpon River, but the service bartender Andrew made this a disappointing experience. He seemed completely and visibly overwhelmed by beer tickets he just had to pour and was too busy to provide decent service. Trying to lighten the mood, I told him I used to bartend and do what he's doing, and in an aggravated tone told me to "come back here and take over then" no smile or indication that he was playing around. Just a straight face... When my friend and I politely asked for a small sample, it was easy to tell he got frustrated as it was a huge inconvenience for him. Instead of helping us chose a different beer in place of a stout like an experienced bartender would do, he just poured them in a frustrated manor, placed them down and casually said "good luck" knowing we wouldn't like it and walked away. I know when someone is joking, he simply just did not care. Lastly, when I asked for a water he looked at me, ignored me and then started talking smack to his server friend about how he isn't here for water service right in front of me... To make matters worse, he completely forgot my food order for over 30 minutes and I never even received it. Thankfully the manager was kind enough to hear me out and compensate me.

Mick M.

Yelp
I don't know what the hell happened to this place??? They changed the HH - wtf? Who would do this for regulars??? Food fine, but the beer??? AND, I recommended the Brussels sprouts to my friend in not to find out they are now made with marinara??? Wow! From a hell yes to a hell no! Too much competition in the brewing industry. I will take Gina and Andrew- best of the hoppy place!

Mo C.

Yelp
We decided to squeeze in one last brewery before heading to the airport and I am so glad we did. Lexi greeted us at the door and answered all our questions about the beer menu. We bonded over our love of Colorado. The beer is stellar! Florida doesn't really have "Stout weather", but I'm so glad I tried their Slow Troll Stout. It's a big beer, coming in at 15%, but it was incredibly smooth and you really didn't taste the alcohol content. The Dastardly Double IPA was fantastic as well. The ambiance is really fun. They have a kind of front porch set up, inside the brewery. It's like sitting outside, but inside. I will definitely be back when in town!

Wai H.

Yelp
Best spinach artichoke dip I've had in a while. Will come back just for that. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Staff are always on their best game and the vibe on Wednesday nights is lively due to music bingo.

George E.

Yelp
In Fort Lauderdale for a month. Hit this place once, now on fifth night. Great beers, food, service. Generally play cards and drinks northerners. Fn place, Heading to Iowa tomorrow, will miss it.

Cortney J.

Yelp
After standing at a hostess stand for five minutes the waitress finally let us know we could sit anywhere. After find a table we waited over 10 minutes and finally had to flag down the waitress ourselves. The waitress was very rude and walked away to clean a nearby table while answering my question about what food items she recommended. It was clear that helping us was not a priority for her. I've been to many breweries but never had such horrible service. Not a good impression for first time customers.

Anton K.

Yelp
The beer was great, the atmosphere and the service were pleasing, but the burger was dry...

Wendy H.

Yelp
Great food enjoyed on the patio with friends out front- Brussels sprouts are the best, also enjoyed the shrimp and the strangers in the night burger was amazing!! Imani our server was friendly and efficient, and the general manager Mark came out to see how we enjoyed our food. We had a wonderful breeze the whole meal which was the experience was a perfect ending for my trip to FL!

David B.

Yelp
If you have a Happy Hour let the customer know in advance that it only applies to beer that is under 7% alcoholic level. How tough is it to let customers know this information.

Kurt A.

Yelp
Great time hanging with Imani and Michelle! New to the hood and a great brewery for solid beer, music bingo and atmosphere.

Yadira R.

Yelp
Came for the first time on a Sunday afternoon to be part of a fitness sample event and I had so much fun! After the event we went to the bar to grab a late lunch. We asked the bartender recommendations based on what we liked and he gave both of us exactly what we liked. Both beers were iced cold and delicious. For lunch we had the tarpon burger with fries. The burgers were a bit over cooked , but not burned so that was ok. They do have ALOT of fitness and other fun events, so I look forward to be back. Definitely worth the experience. Nice ambiance.

Yelp
Great brewery and Overrall experience. Came here on a Sunday after a work out class they had going on. Live music, great food and beer, can't go wrong. Would definitely return.
