Google
Great new breakfast spot. Lattes were excellent. Avocado Tartine (toast) and Croque madam were exceptional. Egg was just right. Nice to have sweet and savory scones. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Just tried an outstanding soft scramble. Delicious!!

Google
I come to Tartine for one thing and one thing only: the coconut cream tart. It is the best thing in the whole wide world, and I’ve had one at their SF location, their Seoul location, and now at their LA location. It is so creamy and coconutty with a perfectly flaky crust. It always hits the spot. Yum!!!

Google
excellent brunch spot - the soft scrambled eggs are wonderful, with an interesting mix of tastes.

Google
Loved our lunch here! The pressed ham and Gruyère and tuna sandwiches were fresh and delicious, with quality ingredients. Also loved the vibes of the cafe - the space was very pretty.

Google
Loved this place! I meant to go to their Arizona location but ended up at the one on Lincoln by mistake and I’m so glad I did. The barista was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Google
Beautifully prepared high end food. Great flavors. The banana tart is wonderful.

Google
All Tartine are awesome, but the new Venice location is my favorite place! Everything is beautiful and absolutely delicious! Best service and sweet friendly staff 💕 always a pleasure to stop by!

Google
I don’t usually give 5 stars easily; but, Tartine Venice pushed all the right buttons. First was their very inviting and pleasant dining area both indoor and outdoor. The colors are positive and give you energy. Once you start ordering you realize the energy is emanating from the people that work there. They are smiling and are so happy to be working there that it shows. Last is the food. The Ham and Gruyère sandwich I had definitely belonged to my lifetime top 10. There are lots of street parking and they can get crowded during lunch. Definitely a place I will go again.

Yelp
I am bread addict. I had their whole wheat sesame loaf today for the first time. It was an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Great job Tartine.

Yelp
I live in Venice and go to the run club next door so I have stopped in a lot since they opened. Food and service are consistent which is a plus. I love a friendly face in the morning but I find this place to be just another chain that does nothing for community of Venice like other places do. I was in there when people were finding out their houses were burning down and they offered no discounts to them when other restaurants were offering help. That's just really sad. Too many places in the neighborhood that have great coffee and do more for their customers. Making a community where I live is important to me and I like supporting local businesses that care. So, other than tipping the great staff because they deserve all the love, why give your hard earned money to this corp?

Yelp
One of the most delicious breakfast toasts I've had! The egg was perfectly creamy and the toast was just the right crunch. Had a pretty good matcha latte too. Have to come back to try more pastries.

Yelp
Lovely cafe - bright, spacious and with good food and beverage options. Wish they had more vegan & vegetarian options.... In the pastry section, they had a vegan crumb cake and a vegan cornmeal cake. The only vegan item we could have on the breakfast menu was the Avocado Tartine, which was very pricey but also very tasty. The bread was INCREDIBLE - fluffy and flavorful; avocado was fresh and seasoning was lemony & good. Almond milk cappuccino was strong and aromatic. Parking garage was easy to access with free parking. $28 for the tartine and coffee. Expensive! But I guess you could pay for the pleasant ambience and attentive service.

Yelp
Always a good experience at Tartine. Their coffee and bread never miss. The only thing I did not like or expect from this location is how they don't offer customer WiFi. It's a shame considering there's so much seating and it would make a great place to WFH. Otherwise it was great!

Yelp
I stopped by for a quick cappuccino and ended up getting a ginger cookie, sweet and gingery! I had no idea they had opened this past June. Tartine offers a good variety of breakfast, tartines, pasties and bread options to grab and go! The ambiance is open, with music playing, you'll experience different scents coming from the open kitchen, and the big doors let the breeze in! Staff is friendly and service is quick! Why my rating is not a perfect 5 is because of the high pricing for their offerings. Free parking downstairs!

Yelp
The food was good this place has a very special place in my heart. The ambience is so nice it felt so calming. We had finish and were about to ask for your check when the waiter asked us if we wanted to try the jams gosh we couldn't resist and we did we had the most amazing spread we had to buy one and take it home. The service was great we left super happy

Yelp
Had the opportunity to try the recently opened Tartine this morning. Was disappointed they didn't have French Toast (explanation: no bread???) but tried the croissant, soft scramble, and avocado tartine, as well as a latte. The premises was nice and open with some outdoor seating. Each item purchased was well-made/good and used quality ingredients, but I couldn't help feeling each was about 15-20% more expensive than other similar, comparable bakery restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Tartine's Banana Cream Pie has always been my favorite. I used to live near the original bakery in San Francisco and was a frequent patron. When I found out they were opening a location in my new neighborhood, I was so excited. Unfortunately, the pie at this location is not the same. The crust is not as flaky as I remember, and the bananas are too mushy. It almost seems like they might be serving pies that have been sitting for a while, possibly due to lower foot traffic. I hope they can get back to the quality I loved.

Yelp
Been here twice in recent months - Tartine has a nice, airy space, solid baked goods, and friendly staff. I can only comment on the baked goods on display - the bacon/cheddar/chive scone and lemon poppy seed cake are both delicious. They have free underground parking for the building as well as metered street parking out front. I wish though, that they would have kept the wifi that was apparently briefly up after the LA fires. This would be a great workspace if so, because otherwise, cell reception is almost nonexistent inside.

Yelp
Tried out the soft scramble toast because I hadn't seen it at any other Tartine locations and it was phenomenal! I don't have photos because I ate it so quickly. Also got a berry tart and it was as good as always. Open air vibes, lots of seating available, service was very friendly. Will be back for sure.

Yelp
It's good! Just expensive as all hell. The food is good, however not worth the price. But if you can afford the price, go ahead and get the food. I do love their seasonal veggie quiche and wide variety of pastries, all well-made and delicious. And of course, the loaves of bread are absolutely amazing. The line is always out the door, but do take advantage of their online ordering in advance. There is a paid parking lot and meter street parking. The space is really cute for meeting folks for coffee, dining in, reading a book, do a little work. It can get loud inside the acoustics are not the best but the outside garden area stays pretty calm. Staff is nice however they are always in a rush, so don't feel a type of way if they cut you short.

Yelp
The new Soft scramble breakfast item was so good. I've been feeling tired of food but this kind of opened my taste buds again. The manager think suggested the soft scramble which is a new menu item. I wasn't sure if it came with bread but it did. The eggs were perfectly cooked and there was cream cheese on the bottom so it was slightly tart. Also the salmon roe popped off too. I've gotten some inspiration on something to make at home. Make sure you try this dish!

Yelp
Calm, clean and, mindful environment, with delicious quality pastries and tasty beverages. The barista was attentive and helped me pick the most moist morning-bun. The cold brew was of a smooth and mild taste.

Yelp
Amazing pastries!!! The best butter croissant ever! Beautiful inside. Helpful friendly stuff.

Yelp
The place smells like freshly baked bread! I mean, is there another smell better than this! I was indecisive about what caffeinated drink I want, the team members were well trained to answer the questions I had. I regret having breakfast prior to stopping at this place. I want to try their breakfast menu sometime soon!

Yelp
1st time at this spot and I will definitely go back. The cashier was welcoming and friendly. The establishment is cute. They having seating inside and out. I sat outside under a cute patio filled with plants and lights. The food was fresh, hot, and taste really good.

Yelp
The phone did not eat first this time, I did. The chocolate croissant was sooooo good. Most places I go, the croissants are hard and the chocolate is alright. i'm usually not that impressed, but this one was top tier!! Not to mention the staff was extremely friendly. Taylor and Joe were exceptional !! Taylor greeted me immediately with a warm genuine smile, and Joe was extremely helpful and kind helping my pick which pastry I'd like. Well done on choosing your staff. I love how open the inside is, and the seating on the outside is perfect too. Lots of room. I will 100% be coming back here!!

Yelp
exceptional experience from start to finish! The food and pastry were outstanding, with everything freshly baked on site and presented beautifully. exceptional service. The staff were super helpful and friendly, taking the time to explain the dishes and make recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The ambience was also great, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect, the patio was lovely, providing a nice outdoor experience in the midst of the bustling city. Overall, I would highly recommend Tartine Venice to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and great ambience makes it a must-visit destination. We can't wait to go back!"

Yelp
Absolutely rapturous smoked trout tartine (w "perfectly" cooked scrambled eggs) at the newly opened Tartine spin-off on Lincoln Boukevard in Sta Monica - on of the lovely places I can walk to with my pup, Gustavo, which includes the Pacific Ocean! All great - food, ambience, service
google avatar

Yelp
Great pastry's and breads...! Can't wait to try their lunches! Easy to access location with parking.

Yelp
Well I have been driving by for a while as they were bulding the place and it never seemed there was any progress. Then boom it opened. So, I usually get some type of pastry, bagel or bread on Sunday morning and usually head to the bread capital of the area on Ocean Park but today I wanted to try Tartine as I so awaited this opening. Well, I was not disapointed as I had the amazing ham and cheese crossiant and bought of bunch of other things for friends of mine. They had a great selecton of stuff in this open space place with high ceilings and nice vibe. Service was supper nice and friendly. My only nic and it is the same at the place on Arizona in Santa Monica is their coffee is just ok. I had an Americano in what seemed like a thimble. Anyway, so be it as the product they have are terrific and I will certainly be back. Just great.

Excellent coffee and all food! Great pastries, amazing bread, fantastic fresh delicious sandwiches... clean, clean lines coastal decor, and beautiful & kind people working there!!

Yelp
My partner was stoked when this location opened right around the block from our apartment. Tartine is one of his favorite bakery cafes around. We love the breakfast, baked goods, sandwiches and the coffee is never disappointing. The service is excellent and the indoor/outdoor space is nice and welcoming. Like others have noted, the place is definitely on the expensive side even for Santa Monica. We would definitely be more frequent patrons if it was a tad more affordable.

Yelp
So happy there's another Tartine! This one is on Lincoln Blvd close to Venice. Came in for their soft opening earlier today and loving all the same delicious baked goods. They don't have all of the normal kitchen menu yet but will for sure. Plus there's a parking lot below the building too which is convenient.

Eric B.

Yelp
Food is mediocre it is American food disguised as French food only people that never tested French food can like this fake French not really good food Service is soap nothing special and ambiance is nice best thing about it is the outdoor patio

Simone C.

Yelp
Went back to Tartine in Venice and had the best surprise! They remembered me, they apologized and treated me with so munch kindness. Good to be back! Thank you guys

Helen M.

Yelp
I ordered through DoorDash and the turkey club was exceptional. The bread was out of this world and every last ingredient was so delicious. Quality sandwich. Real quality.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with anything from tartine love love them! Everything I've tried has been great.

Yelp
Fantastic food and a real dream come true to eat at Tartine. The read and butter pudding was unforgettable. Wow!

Yelp
Incredible cozy churchy vibe but hip. Feels like the building was an old church but made modern and made public and secular. Openish kitchen. Coffee was killer and the salmon lox was we loved the ambience and the incredible quality of bread and food 5 / 5

Yelp
Tremendous Delicious baked goods !!! YUM and then some Great staff and fun space Welcome
google avatar

Yelp
Food is ok. Price is expensive. Came here for the banana cream pie. Nothing special and the little 4" pie is $11. Tried the $6 croissant also. Can't compare to the ones in SF or Berkeley and was more expensive.

Yelp
This is a wonderful addition to Venice. Outside dining, a coffee and a croissant. Take out, eat in.

Wednesday A.

Yelp
Taylor is truly exceptional, kind, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. The rye bread was absolutely delightful, thank you! The new location is so charming and cozy, it feels like the perfect spot to relax and enjoy.

Jan R.

Yelp
Heavenly bread !! Literally to die for ! Great coffee, super sweet staff !! The country loaf is beyond scrumptious and the butter is the perfect finishing touch !

Yelp
I am so glad they opened one in Venice! Bright, Tommy and open air with easy parking? Yes please. Excellent customer service in a time that businesses don't prioritize this. Every person on the floor will greet with a smile and offer service and the food, I mean, yum! Can I just say though that the really all star is Josiah? Calm and collected he bring such a soft warm energy with your morning coffee pick up even with a long line of frantic patrons. He is fast and efficient because you know we trying to grab and go but also sweet and attentive. Great job Tartine!

Maya P.

Yelp
The best bread I have ever had! The second I took a bite I wanted to get in line to buy a loaf!

Jeff R.

Yelp
Delicious food (try the hand pies!) and easy parking make this a great stop for breakfast.

Julianna P.

Yelp
Easy to park, staff is super friendly, never crowded. And don't sleep on the avocado toast. I know it's been overdone but the one at this tartine location is really good. The added farm egg is perfectly fried with the most flavorful and deep orange yolk.

Gary M.

Yelp
I have to say, the folks at Tartine made my day. Just ran in for some pre Hollywood bowl deserts and Serrenna (sp?)and Joe guided me thru wonderful pastries. The food here is as wonder as the people behind the counter. Can't wait to stop back soon
