Tartinery Café - Bar | Park Ave

First time in NYC and Tartinery was my favourite spot to have breakfast. The food there is so nutritious and filling. Service was amazing, very nice and welcome staff. Atmosphere was great, loved how spacious is it and the music played really uplifted my mood. Thank you to Ardit for such a wonderful experience.

The food was delicious, with great coffee and smoothies. I loved the avocado toast, and the chia bowl was perfect for starting our Sunday in the city. The servers were very busy but still did a great job. Everything was right and fast, we were looking for a healthy brunch and we found everything here. We ended up getting a couple of ham and cheese croissants to go.

Tight seats and interesting different versions of tartinery (basically bread slices with toppings) dishes. The sweet (nutella/banana) was much better than the savory (croque monsieur) which had too much cheese and weighed heavy.

It’s a nice location and place looks great. Service is also not bad but the food to my humble opinion was not great. I ordered the first item on the menu which is the smashed avocado toast. Anything that is first on the menu needs to be good. But the smashed avocado was refrigerated cold, not well seasoned, and just had some pickled radish and cilantro on it on a toast. Nothing special. I could make this at home. I was bummed because it’s first on the menu and I’ve had better avocado toast at home. Also the croquet madame was just bread with some meat and tons of cheese on it. Nothing special. Restaurants like these should be elevating any dish to where I’m compelled to ask “what’s in this dish that makes it soooo good?” That I can’t make at home. I think this place would be great and has lots of POTENTIAL but the menu and cooking has to be elevated for such a nice location.

Best breakfast ever! I spent a few days in New York and every day Tartinery was a must!Wide choice for breakfast and super fast service. Staff is really kind and professional.

My breakfast was vegetarian and I can absolut recommend it. Very friendly staff and good coffee. Near to the grand central station and fair prices.

Waitress was extremely rude that we ordered 4 dishes and she could not remember! She even didn’t write. Waited 15 minutes for the coffee and 20 minutes for the food! Plus extras were missed. Absolutely annoying when waitresses are rude plus they do not apologise for it! More over coffee tasted burnt!

Ardid was a phenomenal professional. Every employee provided top tier service and the food was superb and reasonably priced. The portion sizes were perfect, and beverages equally as sublime. Can’t speak well enough on the experience or restaurant.
