We had the absolute pleasure of working with Taste of Aloha for our son’s rehearsal dinner, and I cannot say enough good things about them. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding.
The food was absolutely Incredible. The owner is from Hawaii and it shows. We had Huli Huli Chicken, Kalua Pork, Mac Salad and rice. The meat was tender and juicy, the mac salad was delicious and they basically gave us rice cookers to ensure that the rice would be perfect. Every bite was packed with flavor, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. There were no leftovers! If you're looking for genuine island cuisine, this is the real deal.
As good as the food was, their service was better. The owner and his wife bent over backwards to accommodate us. We had a complicated setup—we needed to pick up the food in the morning, drive three hours to the venue, and reheat it later that day. Not only did Taste of Aloha walk us through the best way to make that work, but they also gave us extra food at no charge to ensure everything went smoothly. They even offered tips to help us improve the overall flow of the event.
This is a business that clearly cares — about the food, the service, and most importantly, about the people they’re serving. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. Taste of Aloha made a special day even more memorable, and we’re deeply grateful.
