"Strudel, kringles, and waffle cookies count among the key specialties of this quaint little Lakewood longtimer — along, of course, with light and flaky danish filled with jam and custard (try the apricot). But the list goes on, encompassing cinnamon rolls and twists, bear claws, coffee cake, and much more." - Eater Staff

I got a traditional blueberry pie from this bakery today, and it was amazing. The crust was very good, toasty, and with sugar sprinkled on top. So yummy. I've only eaten pie a few times in my life, and pumpkin was the most tolerable one. I got the blueberry pie for a co-worker's B-day celebration and this was the clear winner out of the two pies I got from two different bakeries. and the price was only $18! I put in the order the night before and it was ready even before the scheduled pick up time the next morning. Incredible! Did not disappoint! I got cream puffs for myself and those were fluffy and good too.

Just hands down amazing. Can't go wrong with any of the pastry and bread selections. They added the patio to enjoy the outdoors. Does not disappoint one bit. Also, they are really quick and hard working! Pastry making and customer service skills are top notch 👌

Fantastic pastries and baked goods. It's packed on the weekend mornings for good reason

Absolutely the most wonderful Bakery I have ever been to! Everything there is always awesome and fresh but one of my favorites is the jalapeno ham and cheese croissant. If you go on a weekend to make a point to go earlier so everything is fully stocked

[Summer-2025] There’s a list of items on the wall but no way of telling what’s in the display case when ordering. Combining that slight bit of confusion with the intensity of how fast they rush customers through, it’s more like a high pressure used car sales spot rather than a streamlined pastry shop. They must be new and still figuring out how to do business. Hopefully it improves soon, the pastries taste pretty good.

Taste of Denmark is a true gem in Lakewood! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The baked goods were absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. And my mocha? Pure perfection! If you're looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, and warm service, this place is a must-visit!

This little bakery is a local treasure. Everything, literally everything, they make - pastries, breads, and sweets - is an absolute treat. The people are friendly and helpful. The endless parade of people coming in and leaving with goodies on a Saturday morning is a testament to the love the community has for this establishment. One of a kind, and absolutely splendid. 11/10 I wish Google had a button to click for "regular customer" because I'm in this place a couple dozen times a year.

I went to middle school by here....25 years ago? That can't be right, and back then it was an empty lot. Then it was a motorcycle repair shop, and the upward trajectory is relentless now that it is the most lovely little cafe you could ask for. I took outdoor seating for granted when I lived in Colorado and this place has got it and more. The staff makes all the difference as they very kind and accommodating. We bought a fantastic blueberry pie for 3/14 to have for dessert for our family meal and it did not disappoint. I actually come here whenever I'm in the neighborhood and it never disappoints.
