Denver’s 14 Essential Thai Restaurants Right Now | Eater Denver

"The owners of this Rosedale charmer — which operated in Englewood for 20 years before relocating — incorporate produce and herbs from their own garden into their dishes, which is reason enough to start with a colorful salad like the seafood-based yum ta lay or the miang khum, a vibrant northern Thai dish whose name translates to “leaf-wrapped bites,” filled with dried shrimp and coconut, peanuts, and veggies. But in cooler weather, the flu-shot soup has a cult following: Bursting with ginger and herbs as well as chicken and wontons, it sure tastes like a cure for all that ails. So does the red curry with young coconut or fresh pineapple, for that matter." - Ruth Tobias

The food is excellent and made by the same people from the old location near Swedish hospital. Some of the charm of the old house is missing but the food is excellent. They still offer free "grow your own taste of Thailand" plants

Google
The food was extra delicious and seasoned to taste. We tried the Pad se ew and the green curry lunch special. Anne our server was wonderful and we had an excellent delicous lunch! The Thai tea was sweet and plenty of chili oil and dry spice to dial in your perfect spice level for the day🦄. Thank you kindly, we will be back!

Google
The food was okay. I think it's more a mom & pop shop. If I lived in the apartments across the way, I would probably frequent this place more often. But I definitely would not drive here for the food. They were quick with the food so it didn't take long.

Google
I have eaten here before and the food was just meh, but thought I’d give it another shot. I showed up about fifteen minutes before they closed, and asked if they were still taking orders to which they said yes. I ordered a Pad Thai thai hot with no peanuts. While they did not add the peanuts like I requested, the pad thai also had nothing else except for a sprinkling of bean sprouts. No tofu, no green onions, no tamarind sauce (or any sauce), no lime. There was no flavoring or seasoning. It was just noodles fried in a lot of oil, and of course no spiciness at all. I had just gotten back from a long delayed flight and was hoping to have at least a good meal. I was really disappointed. Next time if you don’t want to cook the dish I ordered just say you’re closed instead.

They were able to make me a Dairy Free Thai Tea (beyond excited about that!!) it was delicious!! The soup & peanut sauce with that came with the lunch special was delicious. We tried two different kinds of curry, I liked them, but thought the consistency was a little thin. The noodle dish was delicious. They have outdoor seating and the staff is very nice.

Rick and Noy are a wonderful couple that have a great resturaunt with their family. It was so nice to meet and talk to them. Nicki was our server and extremely kind. They really set themselves apart with their kindness and hospitality. We will be back and sharing with our friends and family. The food was so good! Best Thai tea in Denver!

Google
Feeling a little under the weather? Well then order some famous Flu Shot soup. This is the BEST Thai food in Denver. Family owned and they even use veggies grown in their garden. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the owners are always bouncing around checking in on the guests. If you are ever in the mood for a wonderful meal the stop by and have some Thai.

Been looking for Khao soi ever since getting back from Chiang Mai, and... Oh my! I found it... And it's amazing!!

Yelp
We come Al the way from Colorado Springs to eat at this GEM hidden in a sexy strip mall near Downtown~ some of the BEST THAI FOOD we have EVER HAD! Prices are way below average with lunch starting at only $10.95 which includes soup, salad and appetizer. Incredible portion sizes, fantastic, sweet service and the place is always CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS!! Some of our favorites include the Drunken Noodles, Green Curry with chicken, FLU SHOT SOUP IS KILLER AND WILL CURE ANYTHING!!! get it you won't be disappointed!! Also love the special chicken wing appetizer, Siam Queen all the lunch combos come with 1/3 portions of two entrees and are incredible!!! Again, we drive 100 miles out of our way to come to this Thai location~ we have nothing to compare it to in the Springs!! We will gladly make the drive once a week for the rest of our lives! It's worth it!!!!!

Yelp
Small Thai restaurant with average Thai decor, not super modern but not super hole in the wall. Nice service Pad Thai was ok. It only came mild and they didn't ask if I wanted a diff level spicy or not. When I added external sauce that i asked for, then it was pretty good Friend for the panang curry. It was pretty spicy and he said not enough protein in it. Overall it was okay

Yelp
Taste of Thailand is very delicious!! we had pick up from them just the other night and enjoyed everything that we had. A very positive, but could be a tricky thing for some people is that you can't change the spice level, we loved it, but it was very spicy! We will definitely be returning to try a few more items really soon!

Yelp
Great service from friendly Thai people. You have to support wonderful local businesses, and this is certainly one of them. I went here for a business meeting and a nice lunch. The staff was very pleasant and the food was good. I enjoyed their dining room which has plenty of seating options.

Yelp
I love Thai food but I hadn't found an amazing place in Denver yet. I typically order Pad See-Ew and the best I have ever had was in Chicago (food Mecca). The one at Taste of Thailand came in a close second! They didn't have basil fried rice which is what my husband typically orders at Thai restaurants so he got the Cashew chicken it was so flavorful. It wasn't sure about the spice level so I didn't get the "flu soup" since it was three star spicy. But after having the two-sat spice tiger cry app, it definitely think I could handle the flu soup. I asked and it can be made as two-star spicy. We will be back to try the flu soup and a curry dish.

Yelp
We absolute love coming here. Our favorite go to place for comfort home style Thai cooking. Papaya Salad (mild) includes their sticky rice - favorite item on the menu. Light and refreshing, very easy to eat as a meal or share as a appetizer. Spicy level is real here. Mild is still very spicy for me (weak sauce). also don't be fooled by the size of the sticky rice, it can be very filling. Khao Soi - order this - you will not regret it. Also opt for the drumstick (softer more flavorful meat choice). Perfect summer/winter noodle dish. Savoy curry coconut soup noodle dish. Huge kudos to the chef, taste just like how my mom makes hers. Tom Kha - Lemon grass hot and spicy w/ coconut milk veggies and protein. Perfect for cold days. Soup only, does not include noodles. Good for sharing or if you love soup order it. Pad Thai - color, heat and flavor says it all. Well balanced on noodle veggie ratio, not too oily like other places. This place works for the wok magic. The chef and staff are amazing and the food speaks for itself. I'll always be back for more.

Noah B.

Yelp
Darn good Thai food. The flu shot soup is a must during the winter. The Siam Queen is my go to entree. They don't always answer the phone, so it's better to plan on eating there than getting carry out.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Solid! The flu shot is sooooo good. Total cure-all! I appreciate the authenticity of the dishes. One of my favorite Thai spots in Denver.
google avatar

Johnathon G.

Yelp
Great food! Love the ambiance and service! Darryl (sorry if incorrectly spelled) was kind and courteous. He even gave us some of his favorite local food spots to eat at. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Got to try out this spot when my family and I were visiting Denver and I have to say, it was a pretty solid spot! We ordered take-out and ordered the khao soi, small order of the flu shot soup, and the papaya salad. The khao soi had a good amount of chicken in it and the flavors were really good. The flu shot soup was also really delicious- soothing and refreshing and the dumplings inside the soup were really good and meaty. The papaya salad was probably one of my favorites that I've tried thus far! We asked for it extra spicy and they delivered! So spicy but the flavors were absolutely addicting. If you're looking for a good Thai restaurant in Denver area, definitely check out this spot!
google avatar

Sydney S.

Yelp
If you're sick, run here for their flu shot soup! It is not only delicious but really does make you feel better. The broth is flavorful and spicy, and it is filled with plenty of yummy veggies and chicken dumplings. They even offer curbside pickup so you don't have to leave your car.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
Good customer service and friendly employees go a long way! I got takeout Pad Kee Mao (my usual go to Thai) and it was delicious! *** BEWARE*** they are not playing when they say spicy!!! I got mild and it was honestly hard to eat but the flavor was so good so ultimately I have no complaints. I'll be back but I'll ask for extra mild or no spice (if I can???) next time.

Yelp
This used to be one of our favorite places, particularly when BF was annoyed with US Thai. But, sadly, things have changed. The vegetable spring rolls had a weird mushy filling, maybe potato and some green stuff??? We were expecting crisp vegetables. The cheese wontons were...cream cheese and chives? Strange. BF couldn't eat them. I tried one. Eh. The Tom Gha soup was thin, watery, and too spicy. The pad Thai was just okay. The chicken in my pad Thai was a little tough, maybe overcooked. Not tender. And very few pieces of chicken, at that. Service was fine, but we weren't asked why the soup and appetizers remained largely unconsumed. I don't know what happened here. It used to be consistently very good. I hope that this is a momentary blip. However, we won't be returning. I did like the ginger mint iced tea. Very refreshing and only $1.
google avatar

Jim K.

Yelp
Excellent Thai and good service at a good price. Popped in on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
google avatar

Yelp
What I've tried is very limited. The pad Thai is very good. The spring roll appetizer is amazing. And they're alway very quick. Love this place!

Yelp
A hidden gem! Only went here to pick up some food to rest before the big evening. Atmosphere - N/A - Only came here to pick up food Staff - 4/5 - Very friendly. Made sure to double check the order so that we didn't miss anything. Food - 4/5 - What we ordered: Papaya Salad - 5/5 - MUST get. We asked for spicy, and boy was it. I do not know the level that we chose, as we just asked for spicy. But, I highly recommend this. Flu shot soup - 5/5 - It is their traditional Thai YahTom, and I do understand how amazing this soup would be after being sick (or hungover). Really great broth. Green Curry - 4/5 - Nothing out of the ordinary. Really good curry. I do wish it had more meat in it. Pad Thai - 4/5 - Pretty good pad thai. I do recommend this with Chicken. Although we picked up for lunch, you can ask for Dinner portions ($2 more), so I recommend that. I would try this place again if I was in town. I wanted to get the Tiger Cry, but literally forgot to order it. Check it out and let me know!

Yelp
Best crispy whole fish in town My wife orders from here at least once per week Wii oh lol not order from anywhere

Yelp
I love this Thai food. Very authentic. His Flu Shot soup is unique and it seems to cure a chest cold! The small dumplings in it are delicious. I also love the pad Thai with chicken.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
They have "authentic" Thai food that is absolutely delicious! Probably the best Shrimp pad Thai I have ever had!! Definitely check this place out ....you won't be disappointed! Also all the herbs and veggies come direct from the owners garden..very cool and tasty'!

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Thai food and decided to try this place. This lunch was so sub par. First, it was cluttered with boxes and didn't look clean, their spice trays were dirty. The people were lovely but their food was not, we didn't finish anything. We were hoping since it's close to home, now we know.

Erin P.

Yelp
What a disappointment. This place used to be great but today, not so much. I go in for lunch and am instantly put off by how annoyed the waitress seems to be that there are customers. I ordered the lunch special. The vegetable soup that came with it was flavorless and barely lukewarm. Then the entrée came and the rice was sopping wet. Like a mushy glob on the plate. There was literally about 2 tablespoons of the noodle dish along with it and I'm not exaggerating. I asked for new rice which ended up not being much different, as the waitress explained that they put too much water in it that day, but there was only one pot of rice, so I was basically out of luck. I was also met with annoyance when asking for chopsticks and a straw. Also noticed that the prices have all gone up by a dollar or two per dish, and the portions are much smaller. Not sure what happened, but this one stings.

Yelp
We tried a huge variety of items here and did not like most of it. Dishes ordered were: cheese wonton, chicken satay, pad thai with jumbo shrimp, pad thai with chicken, tom kha gai, Drunken noodle with tofu, Drunken noodle with chicken, panang curry with beef, and green curry with tofu. I love tofu, but eating tofu that isn't treated in any way can be a little rough for me. In the Drunken noodle and green curry dishes, it was like they just tossed some hunks of tofu into each dish AFTER the dishes were prepared. So bland and weird. So avoid tofu from here. Chicken satay was actually tasty and well-executed, though a little light on flavors. Cheese wonton were also good, with herbs inside to make it more interesting than your average cheese wonton. The tom kha gai was average and at least had a flavor that wasn't diluted so much. These are the only reasons why I decided on 2 stars instead of 1 star. Everything else tasted super light on flavor and watered down. The pad thai needed more sauce or something. Same with Drunken noodle. The panang curry tasted like someone ordered a normal panang curry from somewhere else and then diluted it with equal parts water. Same with the green curry. The beef was okay quality meat, but a super cheap cut that made it very chewy. Jumbo shrimp was grossly overpriced. I also did not like the way they cut the veggies in the curries. Very thin slices on the verge of disintegrating after being cooked. If you have to try this place out, then do yourself a favor and avoid: tofu, beef, jumbo shrimp, pad thai, and curries.

Yelp
Taste of Thailand is a hidden gem tucked away in a cozy plaza in sobo. They're always busy but the service is fast and the food comes out fresh. The two times I've been there, I opted out of my usual pad thai chicken. Instead, I chose the flu shot soup on their seasonal menu. The soup was flavored with numerous herbs including ginger and had many chicken wontons as the meat. The soup smelled phenomenal and tasted just as good. Every bite opened up my sinuses. I highly recommend it if you're a soup lover, and if you are feeling under the weather. Not sure if it's scientifically proven to fight the flu but it sure does feel like it! Check them out if you're in the area!

Yelp
Our first impression entering Taste if Thailand was all the patrons were Caucasian. Being of Thai descent, this was an observation to give us pause. Our party of four were seated and reviewed the menu which seemed to carry the standard Thai fare. There was Miang Kham which is a traditional Thai appetizer which you don't normally find so we ordered that along with Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), "Flu Shot" soup, Chicken satay, and Yum Talay (Thai seafood salad). A disappointment is putting it mildly when describing the Miang Kiam. It was served with green leaf lettuce as opposed to the traditional Betel leaves which changes the overall flavor of the dish. Each topping was served in cupcake liners and made for a very cluttered presentation. The ingredients were fairly flavorless. The Pad Kee Mao was flavorful and well cooked, though quite oily. The noodles were tender and fresh. The meat and vegetables were adequately proportional to the amount of noodles. The "Flu Shot" soup was unremarkable. It was full of vegetables but not awe-inspiring enough to vote it "Best Soup in Denver" as the restaurant asks patrons to do. The chicken satay was under marinated and over cooked. It was served with no dipping sauce, rendering it inedible. The Yum Talay was flavored well but had small chopped pieces of lemongrass that made the dish difficult to eat. The lemongrass is supposed to impart flavor without being consumed. In this dish, it was sliced very similar to the scallions. Eating the lemons scratched the inside of the mouth while trying to enjoy the shrimp, scallops and squid of the dish. The seafood was cooked well, however, the scallops had an undertone of soap flavor to them. (I understand some people may think that it might be the cilantro that is imparting the soap flavor, but be assured I enjoy cilantro and don't taste soap while eating it.) Overall, the service was good but impersonal. The food was not a good representation of authentic Thai food. There are many better options for Thai food in Denver.

Yelp
Every time I eat here, I wonder why I don't come more often. Always fresh and delicious. The Flu Shot Soup is so good that I have cravings for it. Take out is as good as dining in.

Yelp
Incredible! Authentic. Awesome hidden gem. Excellent food and service. I'm a huge fan of the mango dessert too.

Jel I.

Yelp
Food was okay. Soup was very tasty though, however the Panang curry is something I wasn't expecting. It lacks nutty flavor and the Thai iced tea was too sweet. :/
google avatar

Yelp
You won't be disappointed. The flu shot soup is amazing and it works. Fresh ingredients!!

Caitlynn S.

Yelp
I previously wrote a review that said their website was confusing and the lunch special I received wasn't what I ordered on the menu-- it turns out I was completely in the wrong and I was just confused as it was my first time ordering here & the complexity of their online menu was just an indicator of how generous & unique they are with their meals. I ordered the curry lunch special that also came with a dish I have never had before. The portions were very hearty and I am glad the lunch special was set up like a combo because I ended up trying and enjoying a dish I wouldn't have ordered originally.

Yelp
I work down the street from this restaurant and pass it all the time. Usually I avoid Thai restaurants that aren't US Thai or J's on Federal - once you eat food like theirs you'll never go back. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by Taste of Thailand! The Pad Kee Mao was great - I ate the whole box in one sitting! Quick takeout service, and they packed the takeout nicely too (nothing worse than when takeout spills).
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
Got takeout tonight and ohhh maaaan was it satisfying. We ordered a Flu Shot Soup (our usual winter staple), Drunken Noodles with Beef (BEST drunken noodles in town, seriously), and of course a Mango Sticky Rice. Even during a pandemic, the quality of food was nothing short of scrumptious. I also noted what a wonderful job they've done to maintain as virus-free of an environment as possible. It really seems like they've gone above and beyond., and I'm happy to support a local gem like this.

Yelp
Taste of Thailand? 1 Covid 19? 0 In the ongoing war of establishment vs Covid, let me just say Taste of Thailand is NOT playing around. From start to finish, everything from the ordering process to the food was a delightful experience. As someone who's still not sold on the idea of dining in person, having a simple way to order takeout is crucial. All one needs to do is go on Taste's website, and voila! What awaits you is a sizeable but manageable menu, ready for you to click away at your favorites. Of course, old school calling in works as well. Located conveniently on Broadway, Taste is nestled in a small strip mall and has a decent amount of parking available. Upon entering, I was not met with a staggeringly beautiful dining room. BUT for what it's worth, the dining room looks perfect for a quick and casual meal. I took home some rice, wantons, cashew chicken, and a dangerously delicious pad thai. Seriously, a part of me is relieved I don't live nearby because I'd sink some major money and calories into that dish. Nevertheless, everything I ordered was so fragrant and I could tell that the ingredients were fresh. The spices were perfectly distributed, perfect level of heat and not overbearing--just wonderfully constructed. Thai food is much like the symphony, in which every "player" must do their part. This was definitely the framework Taste of Thailand utilizes. Another random high point is definitely their chili sauce. It was particularly distinct, and something that elevated my pad thai to the next level. When you pair the A1 food with the fact that Taste is both affordable and convenient? You have yourself a winning hand. Wish I could plop you down in Salt Lake City right about now.

Yelp
Wow! Best Thai I've had in Denver by far. Come often for lunch. Masterful cooking with extremely fresh ingredients - crunchy vegetables, good portions, served in sustainable boxes. The soups are excellent - the rich broth is an amazing immune boost. Very affordable so tip generously!

gary r.

Yelp
You Denveronians are fortunate. I can't remember during a lifetime of eating out when the server at a restaurant pointed to a small garden adjacent to the strip mall in which the restaurant is located, saying "That's where most of our vegetables come from." The veggies here are fresh and lively, sparking up every dish we ordered. It was my first time here. Had Crying Tiger Beef (soooo good), a special which I think was called King of Siam chicken (my favorite of the meal). The kids enjoyed their Kids' Meals, slurped up all of it, then asked for more, which never happens. We got them chicken fried rice, which was gone when I turned around. They liked it. Two other dishes were excellent but less memorable. The service was top notch. She gave us good advice on all sorts of things. I live out of state. I will make sure to return to Taste of Thailand when I go back to Denver next month.

Yelp
Really great Chicken Larb, different than what we are used to but large portions and very fresh vegetable made it awesome! Ordered Tiger Thai and this was also different than what I'm used to, had a sweet sauce and the freshness and presentation was really fantastic! The waitress was so very nice, and cook cake around to see if everyone's meal was great. The only small complaint was my guests sticky rice was hard. It was presented in a nice container but hard jasmine sticky rice. I ordered the special garlic & egg fried rice which was very delicious and very fresh! All of our food came out extremely fast. We ordered the Thai tea and OMG it is yummmmmyyyyy!!! A must if you like Thai food! Area of town was okay. Food was great!

Yelp
I ordered "Kow Pad Kra Prow" which is a fried rice dish and it is described as "typical Thai street food dish" on the menu. Here is the deal about Kow Pad Kra Prow (dine in) : 1. The vegetables were barely cooked 2. The rice had uncooked pieces that almost broke my tooth 3. More sweet than salty (no balance) 4. No other spices used, it's dry and bland even though I requested it medium heat Dish two was a soup called Gulf of Thailand (to go): 1. The only good thing about this soup is the broth and as for the rest of the ingredients; the squid tasted like styrofoam, shrimp did NOT taste good, one scallop that I founds was tasteless, and the boiled onion was just a boiled onion 4. The worst part about it is that they charge $15.95 (probably 800% markup) for something that took little to no effort to make Final verdict is that this food doesn't taste like Thai food! I did tell the waitress that the fried rice was terrible and I did not eat it, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I'm sorry." I gave them two stars mostly because they are environmentally conscious and they do not offer paper napkins, or straws, their take out dishes are not styrofoam, or plastic, and they do not use plastic bags. Big points for that!!! P.S. The bathroom was clean.
google avatar

Lily S.

Yelp
Different from any other Thai restaurant I've gone to before, the signature Khao Soi is a must try. I love the contrasting crispy noodles on top of soft noodles in a thick curry broth, can choose your spicy level and type of meat (normally served with chicken legs but I've seen the shrimp and beef versions as well). I've also tried the following and all were made and served in a way that made you feel like you were their house guests: - Sticky Rice Dessert - Crispy Whole Fish - Basil Shrimp Fried Rice - Papaya Salad, Mango Salad I enjoy the food and that intimately comforting atmosphere throughout this family owned restaurant. Won't hesitate to refer friends here!

Yelp
I like Tom Yum Seafood soup ! Taste so so good , Best of the Best in Colorado ,Denver ! I must go back to try different kind food!

Yelp
Love, love, love our local spot. Me and my partner try to frequent the ToT once every week or two. It's within walking distance of us AND it's freaking delicious AND the owners and staff are delightful. Our go-to is the Pad See Yew and a jasmine tea. Their Pad See Yew is the BEST in town by far. So, so, so good. They make a mean mussaman curry, good Pad thai, and epic egg rolls. You can't go wrong with this spot, really. They have a smaller menu than many other thai places because everything is fresh, much of their food is sourced locally, and, well, they stick with what they're good at. Try supporting this local small biz.. you won't be disappointed.

Bradley S.

Yelp
They have mastered the COVID-19 process. Order online, put your mask on, go in the normal entrance and exit the patio entrance. No mask, no entry - they will bring it to you curb side. Food is awesome as always as is the service. They adapted quick this situation and have handled it fantastically.

Yelp
I chose to try this place because of the GF options (I have Celiac). I got the Panang curry and rice as takeout. Upon the first few bites, I could taste oyster sauce which is not GF. The rice smelled funny and tasted like soap. I stirred the curry to try only the curry and I found a long HAIR in it. So gross, I had to toss it all and I got sick from the not GF food.

Yelp
First of all, all rumors of the magical healing properties of Flu Shot Soup are REAL. I started having this daily as I was coming down sick, and my cold lasted one third as long as usual. It will make you better, AND it is SO GOOD. A flavorful, complex chicken broth with ginger, garlic, and just the right amount of chili flake heat. Tiny bite-size chicken dumplings and bite-size bits of vegetables make it a satisfying lunch - although you may want to also get an appetizer if you have a large appetite. Next EVERYTHING I've tried here is so good. It's one of only two Thai places I've discovered in Denver where the dishes are as complex as they should be, and not just oversweetened for an American palate. Curries are an entire universe of taste scape. I am a fan, big time, and Taste of Thailand is firmly in my restaurant rotation.

Natalia G.

Yelp
Are you a foodie? If so, you would love this place. My family has been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. The owners are one of the best families I have ever met. During Covid they fed the homeless, raised money for homeless causes and never layoff a single employee while taking a huge pay cut. They have a fantastic garden with fresh veggies and herbs in the summer as well. The garlic oil is my absolute favorite. Not a single Thai restaurant comes close to the authenticity of the food.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
The menu here is extensive. They have many dishes on offer and most of those are good. We have had pleasant experiences both dining in (pre-Covid) and more recently with takeout. Sometimes orders can take extra time during their busiest hours, so prepare for that. There are many different versions of Thai food to be found in Denver, and predictably each establishment has their strengths and weaknesses. I can say that we have loved the sampler platter, the street food items and the vegan options. However we find their curries to be a bit lacking. The bottom line: this place has been very consistent preparing the dishes we enjoy. If your thing is Thai it's worth a try.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the food is incredible!! I enjoyed the cheese wantons and selection of beverages, but the true star was the Kow Pad Kra Prow!! It was so wonderfully spicy and filling. It also made for great left overs! My partner had the Pad Thai and raved. With ample parking, a kind staff, and robust menu from curries to seafood to vegan options, I'm excited to go back as soon as possible!

Lynn K.

Yelp
If this is what Thailand tastes like, I'll go there soon! Wow, this food is good. I typically judge Thai restaurants based on some common dishes that I typically order, such as the green papaya salad, and those were all good. What I found noteworthy is that they play with local flavors as well: during the late summer, they offered a palisade peach + hatch chili dish. IT WAS SO GOOD! It is such a pity that the season for this dish is over. I have been here a few times, and every time, the servers are very friendly, and the friendly owner might kindly check in on you as well. Don't forget to leave some room for the sticky rice + mango dessert!

Yelp
Friendly service but the food was meh. I ordered the Penang curry with beef. Unfortunately, it was super bland. It lacked the rich coconut and curry flavor you typically get at other Thai restaurants. I also ordered the Pad See Ew, which was descent. One thing I didn't like about it was they loaded it with cabbage for filler. I'm willing to try Taste if Thailand again. Then again, there are so many other really good Thai restaurants in Denver.

Yelp
Taste of Thailand says it all. Truly an authentic, kind and flavorful experience all around. Can't say enough good things about this family-run business. The Khao Soi is highly recommended.

Yelp
We ventured over here as Aung's Bangkok Thai was only offering takeout due to staffing shortages and we needed to dine in. The folks here are very friendly and we witnessed that they have a cast of regulars as they came and went on a brisk Friday afternoon. While we each had different dishes, the best one was overwhelmingly the Masaman curry. My cousin ordered this and it was very good. The Pad Thai had a weird combination of sweet and heat. To be fair, at least it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like most are. I do wish it was better balanced. As a result, the leftovers were abandoned. We also shared the Pad See Ew and the Pad See Mao. They were fine but a bit fishy for me. The pricing was very reasonable. This is clearly a family run enterprise staffed by kind folks and a great place for a home cooked Thai meal.

Yelp
Nice little place with good apps. Egg rolls and cheese wontons were tooo good. Thai iced tea had the perfect sweetness. It has 1 hell of a menu with so many options plus the specials. Ordered fried rice and curry with veggies and peach (season special). Good flavor of sweet and spicy. Nice food, quick server and friendly servers.
