"Located at Chattahoochee Food Works, Taste is owned by sommelier and wine merchant Ben Ferris. Wines are also offered by the glass and carafe, with bottles on tap available for purchase in the market. Taste carries an additional 100 bottles of wine for purchase, beyond what’s on tap, and people can build their own charcuterie and cheese boards or order a panini, salad, or one of the weekly specials from the food menu meant for pairing." - Beth McKibben

Google
First time at this wine tasting bar. The vibe was good, but they don’t sell bottles like other places. Wines on tap - you will get a card to swipe, which lets you sample your choices of wine. The card costs $40 or $50 if not returned. Expect a 20% service charge no matter your group size. We were five but still charged 20% gratuity even though the sign says it applies to parties of 6 or more. The cashier lady said the sign wasn’t updated. They charge at their discretion—seems like the sign doesn’t mean much. This is not how you do business. Nothing was mentioned unless customers ask. In my opinion, it’s not worth going back if a business sacrifices long-term success for short-term gain. Plenty of good wine tasting options out there.

Google
This was the cutest experience ever! Came here with girlfriends one weekend and will definitely be back. Parking was surprisingly easy to find for a Saturday afternoon in Atlanta, there’s a garage that’s a 1-2 min walk away. The wall of wines was fun and easy to use; the price point was decent as well. We ordered a create-your-own charcuterie board and a few sandwiches to split amongst ourselves; yummy! Overall 5 stars, super cute experience.

Google
Wines on tap! This was very cute for a Sunday afternoon. The wines are on tap, it’s self serve and they offer different pours/prices. Great way to try new wines/varietals. I suggest going w a friend and sharing the small pours if you’re trying to make your way through a lot of wines. It may seem like you’re not consuming that much, but trust me- you will be ranting abt your ex in no time if you’re not careful😹 They also have bites/boards, but I did not partake.

Google
So sad I didn’t get the owners name. He and his wife were working and they couldn’t have been kinder. Very knowledgeable regarding champagne, which thrilled me. I had a glass of bubbles with a very yummy charcuterie plate. The star of the show was the Charles Heidsieck bottle I left with. Simply phenomenal. The atmosphere and wine tasting stations were fantastic. Go for a date, go with friends, go alone, just go! I’ll definitely be back.

Google
We did a sushi making class here, so we didn't have the food, but the selections of wine were really good. It was our first time visiting, but it definitely won't be our last.

Google
This place is really great!!! We love the self serve and convenience of trying so many different high quality wines. The charcuterie spreads are worth it, too! Generous portions and high quality ingredients. The service is fantastic and the location is very vibey. We love the outdoor seating options. It’s a great place to come, sit and sip wine with friends for several hours and get to try some new flavors - maybe even find a new all time fave. We love this place!

Google
This is a great wine bar to taste wines from different regions. What I love about this place is they have the argon gas cases, which preserve open bottles and allows for the wines to be dispensed by the ounce, so you can try without committing to a whole glass. They have a lot of different events (check out their website), as well as a monthly wine club. A great date night or Sunday afternoon visit. Parking is free the first 2 hours. If you are hungry, they have fresh deli sandwiches and charcuterie boards. Highly recommended.

Google
We recently visited Taste Wine Bar & Market and had such a blast! The vibe was classy yet laid-back, the wine selection was on point, and the staff made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot for good sips and even better company—we’ll be back!♥️

Yelp
I had fun trying so many different wines at Taste! You get a card that scans at each station and allows you to choose how much wine you'd like. We also ordered a bread and butter board, turkey sandwich, and a salad. I was surprised by the beans that came with my sandwich. I thought it was an odd combo but they were really flavorful. This was a nice place to come catch up with friends.

Yelp
Me & my cousin wanted to go wine tasting...so we got to searching and I was so happy we came across taste wine bar This is a self serve wine bar with over 50 wines. I lovedddd the concept of the self serve, I thought that was so creative. Pours range from low price up to a little higher if you want a full glass. I tried 3 different wines and my total was only $20. Great date and girls activity! Be sure to check them out for ladies night on Thursday's for happy

Yelp
My go-to spot at Chattahoochee Food Works!! I opted to stop in while waiting on my friend to arrive. Knowing he loved wine as much as I do, we enjoyed a few glasses before grabbing a late lunch in food hall. I typically get a charcuterie board but honestly you can't go wrong here with whatever you choose. Always a great experience, amazing customer service, && selection of wines! Be sure to check out the Wednesday + Thursday specials.

Yelp
Great wine bar with a bunch of selections! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the seating area. They have really good deals during the week and I think it's the perfect date night or girls day like I had with my bestie. The service was great! He made us feel so welcomed and had a great personality.

Yelp
This place is great for small and larger outings! I came with three friends and we got two charcuterie boards. You can tell the quality is 10/10. I do wish that I chose my own plate instead of doing the chefs selection only because there looked to be really yummy ones on display. Having the wine card and choosing your own wine was fun. Those type of interactive experiences are my favorite for sure. It was quiet but the patio in the spring is something we will be going to often when the weather gets nice

Yelp
First time at Taste and it did not disappoint! I love the whole concept of the self-serve wine. You are able to try new wines and not commit since there are different pour size options. Plenty of seating inside and also outside. It was just pouring that day so we sat at the bar. Jazmine made our experience so memorable! They also told us Thursday is Ladies Night, so they offer a discount then. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Taste is a self serve tasting shop, wine shop, and deli located in The Chattahoochee Food Works. I've reached out to them twice now to help with events, and they've been incredibly gracious and helpful. Ben is the man! They can make arrangements for private groups and events. When you arrive you're given a card which you can then use to taste different wines in different portions. Most pours are between $6-10. They also serve snacks like charcuterie boards or sandwiches. There is a TV inside(watched a game there once) as well as plenty of outdoor seating. Everyone there is lovely. Parking is easy and plentiful.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a cool concept, you give your card and they give you a card to try different wines. You get to choose your own pour size and they let you know the prices for the pour you'd like. They also have some food and selections of cheeses and what looks like a deli to choose some foods. When you're done you pay for everything you tried. They were very friendly and helpful with letting me know what wines are sweet & semi-sweet. There is indoor and outdoor seating, it isn't that large of a spot but it is very nice. It's located at The Works so you can park in the garage if you don't find parking in front or on the other side of the building.

Yelp
Taste is such a great wine and cheese place in chattahoochee food works. The concept is smart and convenient. The self-serve wine dispensers have QR codes with information about each bottle in the case. You are able to select which size pour you would like. You hold your glass up and the wine dispenses automatically. The ambiance is very nice with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as space at the bar. It can get crowded and a little loud in here though. Seating is first come first served despite the fact that they have a place to make reservations on their website. I was told that they don't really honor reservations when I first walked in and gave my information. Thankfully we were able to grab a table! Let's get into the charcuterie!! The 3 meat 3 cheese board was probably one of the best boards I've had at a restaurant. It is on the pricier side at $64; however, they put a good helping of each selection on the board with plenty of bread and crackers which I greatly appreciated because sometimes the ratio of meat/cheese to crackers is off and you have to ask for more crackers.

Yelp
Myself and friends went here to celebrate a birthday. You check in with your credit card and given a card to insert and choose your own wine and how much. We also ordered a charcuterie board to share. Just check out at register when finished. We had such a great time and will be back.

Yelp
What a cool experience! I love being able to taste wines on my own pace... AND as many as I want!? The best. You're allowed a new glass if you'd like, and Shaun was super attentive and available for any questions we had! I made a rookie mistake and accidentally knocked my wine glass over, the chef ran over with a towel to wipe the wine and came back with a new wooden board (with a couple extras) for our charcuterie board! The service here was TOP TIER. From walking in we were greeted with smiles, and leaving with smiles. Thank you so much again Shaun and Chef! We can't wait to come back with our friends!

Yelp
Grab a glass and take a seat!!!! Taste is a cute concept! Vey inviting space which includes an outdoor patio and a cozy couch for lounging. It's not super big but perfect for the concept. Basically, you open a tab at the counter. They will give you a card to insert at your chosen wine dispenser. All prices are clearly marked for each wine. You can select your portion and drink/taste as much as you like. Once done, you close the tab at the counter by returning your taste card. Remember your card keeps an account of all your samples. That's how you're billed. I didn't try the food but will be back to try a charcuterie board. It's great hang out spot and if you love wine. Staff is friendly and will answer any of your questions. Glad they open this concept as every time I turn around, a new brewery is opening. In fact , there are 4 breweries on top of my head in the immediate area. So Winos, this is good! Lol. I had a couple of the red blends and they were good. PS: Drink responsibly!

Yelp
This was a beautiful wine bar with wonderful selections. We were the first 3 people in the establishment when they opened for the day. Jasmine helped us with our experience overall. She explained how to use the wine dispensers, made sure our table area stayed clean, took food orders and prepared our meals. It was pretty much a 1 woman show. She deserves some recognition for her amazing customer service skills and attentiveness. We saw the owner within the first 15min of us being there but he didn't greet us until after our food came out. Nonetheless, this was by far one of the best charcuterie boards I've ever had. I loved the selections provided. The other food was sandwiches and paninis. I ordered the Italian sub and the bread was super thick. We all agreed the sandwiches could be a bit better. I'll definitely be back for more wine and charcuteries.

Yelp
We had so much fun at Taste! This is a similar vibe to beer taprooms where you get a wristband and decide how many oz you would like of different beers. Here you get a little card (looks like a gift card) that you plug into the machines to dispense wine. The wine is available in 1/3 glass, 2/3 glass, and a glass sizes. We decided to pour 1/3 glasses to get to try more wines! This allowed us the chance to try lots, but I think it is more expensive that way. I am only giving this spot 4 stars because I think it is a little highly priced for the wine. They also offer great food and charcuterie boards!! I wasn't able to try any this time but definitely will next time I go!!
google avatar

Ketta M.

Yelp
Great concept. You trade a credit card for one of their cards you use to get wine. There are about 50 different wines you can choose from, a small tasting, small pour and a larger pour. Great location with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious, paninis, salads and charcuterie board. The dessert charcuterie board was my favorite. The chocolate was hard and large chunks, and the knives did not cut the chocolate very well. We gave up on it. The also have wines, cheese and salumi you can purchase to go. The also have ladies night and wine tastings every week. Parking at The Works is free for the first 2 hours.

Yelp
Haven't been to the works in a while and decided to come check it out and this new wine bar. We came on a Monday evening and it was empty. They actually didn't even seem like they were ready for customers. The owner (?) was at the bar working on his laptop, but he came over to us and explain the concept. We surrendered our credit cards to get a taste card. You'll have to get individual cards if you want to pay separate. Then, we are off to explore the wines. There are maybe 25ish wines you can try. They can be a small tasting, small pour or a larger pour. The portion also depends on the wine (ie. port has smaller pours). They have laminated menus on the table where you can order charcuterie, paninis or salsas. You bring those menu up to the bar to order. Overall, it was a neat concept and the food was decent. But what left me with a one star is when I was checking out, I notice that I was charged extra for my panini ($14.48 instead of $13.99) and when I brought it up to the server, he told me his is not an accountant and no one else has brought it up to him before. While I didn't care about the extra cents, it was the principal of things. He was rude and left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning and will not recommend this place. But if you come, make sure you double check what they charge you.

Yelp
Love love love! Great concept and such a fun vibe. I love the option of trying as many wines as you want. The staff is very friendly and gives great recommendations. Always a great spot with girlfriends

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The concept is so cool, and there are some awesome selections of wine!! Lots of seating inside and outside, and everyone we encountered here was so helpful and nice! I cannot wait to come back

Yelp
I LOVE the Taste concept!!! I want to give this place five stars, but I am giving it four stars because of the $$ prices of the three options of pours. They have many options, so that is a plus, and the price of a glass isn't that much of the cost at a restaurant, but still. The concept is fantastic, and I would be here all the time if the prices were more reasonable. You give them your ID and credit card, and they swipe it and then hand you a Taste card. You insert it into their machines and pick your pour. You have three pour options: taste ranges from $3.50 to $10; 1/2 glass $6-$24; full $14-$26. I used my Vivino app to decide which ones I wanted to try, and I had a 1/2 glass of the Stroller Pinot Noir for $8 and a glass of the Chateau De Jarnioux Beaujolais for $12. I enjoyed them both very much; I wish the cost were more realistic than the bottle price. I didn't have any food, but the people next to us had three kinds of cheese and enjoyed them all.

Yelp
Soooo cute. The tasting machine format is always so fun, so this place is truly a treasure. Can't wait until the weather breaks so that outdoor seating is available again. Such a nice vibe. There is usually great music, too. Great for outings with the girls!
google avatar

Deja' M.

Yelp
Great place for a date night or to catch up with friends! I love how everything is at your own pace and the selection of wines was good for the price. The idea to include different size options was so smart especially for those that want to try multiple wines.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
Great concept and addition to west midtown. Highly encourage stopping by and trying out their rotating selection of wines. We frequent this spot and have always experienced superb service. Wether it's the owner or the sommeliers on staff, every one is nice, friendly, and we'll educated. Highly encourage you chat with them if you want to learn more about the wines on tap. While the food and small bites are a little pricey, the team does go above and beyond to make sure you get your money worth. Always so surprised to see they're not filled with a crowd each time I visit, perhaps adding additional TVs to play sports or bringing in some live music would really make this place stand out. Overall - highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a new place at Chattahoochee works. A friend and I decided to check it out on Friday. It's a nice concept, where you have the option to self-serve a variety of wine pours. When you first walk in, you provide your credit card in exchange for another card that tracks your wine pours. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing with beautiful decor. The biggest issue is the price ranges for each pour. The ranges depend on the type of wine and pour you get, but they start at $3.50 for a tasting to $26 for a full glass of wine. I asked the owner a question, but he was kind of short with me, while he continued to pour himself glasses of wine. Overall, it's a great concept, but prices are a little steep for what you get. I'd be open to visiting again in the future, but now I know what to expect.

Yelp
I visited Taste for the first time during one its weekly Wednesday wine tastings. The design of the store immediately reminded of Winter Park's wine room, but this place has more. It's lighter, brighter, airy, sexy, and very inviting. It offers outdoor patio seating and excellent food. It even has a few things to keep the littles occupied while their parents taste. It's also very clean and cozy. The tasting room offers conversational seating areas, and tall tables for groups which can be reserved in advance. Their retail consists of wine oh so much wine! Not wine trinkets, which keeps the clean cut appeal of the store. I liked that. They actually service food, not just charcuterie trays, although those are available as well. I had the Greek salad for lunch today and it was amazing. The cherry on top of this sweet experience is their master wine sommelier, Taurean. He is the star of the show and is so very knowledgeable about all of their wines, the regions from which the wines came, and foods that pair well. He impressed me so much that I returned the following day for Ladies' Night! I love this wine tasting room and after buying 6 bottles and going back for another tasting experience the next day, I can honestly say this will be one of my go to places on my beloved Upper Westside of Atlanta!
google avatar

Yelp
This was the best and cutest date night ever! The ambiance was perfect! We got to pick our own wine to taste and even got a dessert board to compliment some of the different wines! Everything I tried was so delicious and very affordable! The service was great and everyone was so friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable! If you like wine 10/10 would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
First, the experience is fun and interactive. You check in to receive your card for either a tasting or full glass pour of various wines. Second, there's plenty of seating options throughout the space. Everyone is our group enjoyed each wine they sampled. A group of us went on a Thursday evening. We got there around 5:30-6 and didn't have an issue securing a table, but later in the evening an event was going on which took over the space. Not an issue, but worth noting, if you are planning to get together with a larger group, get there early! We ordered the charcuterie board, which at $64 was a bit steep, but the meat and cheese options were tasty.
google avatar

Erick C.

Yelp
Love the concept...great vibe! The food selection was nice. Pretty good food. Love the wine selection. Was a little disappointed with the service, I felt they could have been a little more helpful with explaining things. But all in all, it was a cool experience and I will be back.

Shannon J.

Yelp
Stopped by to have a taste of lunch. This spot has a relaxing vibe for the noon hour the server said that the afternoon to evening is an energetic crowd. The server, Brian was excited! The panini, side salad and spa water were exactly what my palette needed. The sandwich was stacked with the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and basil pesto! It was delicious!! I'm looking forward to coming again to a tasting and to enjoy an evening of wine & dine
google avatar

Em L.

Yelp
I'm normally more of a beer snob, but I *really* dig this wine bar. Impressive selection of vino from all over the world and you get to Taste at your own pace. I'm a big fan of the self-serve concept so that I don't have to bother servers (or wait for them to come back). Really relaxed atmosphere, smart staff, and overall unique experience. The charcuterie board was also delicious!

Loretta V.

Yelp
Perfect girls day outing! Love coming here with my friends on a nice day. We snag a seat outside and go through sampling our favorite wines before selecting one of a larger pour. There is indoor, outdoor- covered and uncovered seating. We got some sun. Volume wasn't too loud to hold a conversation. The service is super helpful. We're all still developing our wine preferences and they did a great job with recommendations. We love this to try out different wines we normally wouldn't but have been curious about. The information cards at each station are super helpful and not overwhelming in detail. Just enough to start figuring out the trend of what your preferences are. Bottles are for available for purchase and the prices were insanely reasonable. Our favorite part is the dessert board. White, milk, and dark chocolate with a selection of nuts and a strawberry champagne coulis. Wine and chocolate was the perfect package for the girls day outing to relax and caught up. We've been return customers and it's always a hit coming here!

Yelp
I love the works and decided to try this place for a quick drink the other night because it is new and I love wine. I really wanted to like it more than I did. They essentially take your credit card and give you another card that records what you buy as you taste and you settle up before leaving. There are three levels of pours that increase with cost which makes complete sense. However, the value to each pour is my issue. Every level produced a smaller than expected amount of wine relative to the cost. I hope they can figure this out because I really want to see it succeed.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
If you want a place to drink wine and not feel dumb ordering, this place is for you. You can buy a taste and if you don't like it, you simply move on. With all the choices, it easy enough to find something you do like. Beyond the self pouring system, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Look forward to returning!
google avatar

Kimberly O.

Yelp
Great way to do what the name says - taste! 48 options across the spectrum of white, red, rose and dessert. Oh and sparkling! Self-serve so you can go at your own pace. The owner and wine guru is really nice and will provide recommendations ... or just go for it! Great ambiance, friendly for all ages and super not wine snobby (who needs that!?). Salad and panini were yummy.

Yelp
I am not a medical professional but I do know a thing or two about the importance of mental health and without a doubt the owner Ben is severely mentally unstable. His behavior is nothing short of frightening. This establishment stole/ lost mine and another women's card. I left my card overnight by accident. Thanks to their strange card system I took the restaurants wine tracking card home instead of exchanging my debit card at the end of the night. I saw that they tried to charge my card for a random amount but I already froze my card once I realized I forgot it. When I tell you the insanity that just ensued... First, I was standing at the counter for about 5 minutes before even being "helped" by Ben. He was frantically searching for another women's debit card that he "misplaced" he made her cancel her card then find a new form of payment?! When I asked for my card he said they threw it out as per their policy. when I said that I never heard of a policy like that before he became irate and started yelling. Also, there is a small sign saying they chage a $50 fee for forgotten cards which is very odd. But if that is the policy why would you throw it out? When I asked him this he said I should "just reorder a new debit card dont you know how to order a new card" woooow the audacity. So I should be out of a debit card for 1-2 weeks because you took mine? When I said please stop yelling at me he kicked me out! as I was leaving he followed me yelling at me that no one cares about my card and that I should not have left it. I truly thought he was going to hit me and I said as much and he just got louder. The entire restaurant was staring. I have never been kicked out of an establishment especially not for asking where my card is. Scammers tend to become hostile when called out. Stay far away. There are better and more honest wine bars I would go to Barcelona or Storico Vino instead.

Mike P.

Yelp
We stopped by after a nice meal and found out how rude Ben is to his customers! He gave our credit card to someone else and charged their tab on our account. He acted like it was no big deal and demanded that we pay our bill! He did not apologize at all and was adamant about getting paid. While he was trying to figure out what happened to our card a women came in to collect her card back from the prior night. He said "well you should not have left your card here last night". He was very rude to this women as well and blamed her for leaving her card! Do not leave your card with these idiots!!!! Better yet, avoid the place as there are better places in the area!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I keep saying we need more wine-focused places closer to the city and Taste delivered! Such a fun concept! Essentially you get a card that is linked to your tab to swipe at the wine dispensers and you can choose from various sizes of pours, it's like a vending machine but way more fun. The vibe is very cozy but place is on the smaller side, so you might have to share a table with another party or wait for one to open up. My friend and I came for ladies' night which is every Thursday 5-9pm there is 20% off on cheese and charcuterie boards and wine. We split a small cheese board and it was so good! We got gruyere, manchego, and goat and it came with one type of bread/cracker, and 3 accoutrements. Will definitely have to come back to try the paninis because they all sounded so good. The pricing could be better for the size of the pours, but I feel like part of what you are paying for is the novelty/entertainment aspect.

Mike B.

Yelp
A great neighborhood spot with an energetic vibe! Love being able to try new wines out of a selection of 50!! Many wines were new and it was great to be able to try these. All the ones my wife and I tried, we liked. Ben has good taste!! The charcuterie board had generous portions presented well! Looking forward to taking our friends who we know will love it!
