Self-Service Wine Bar Taste Wine Bar Opens With 50 Taps at the Works in Underwood Hills, Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"At the Works complex off Chattahoochee Avenue in Underwood Hills, I visited Taste Wine Bar and Market, owned by sommelier and wine merchant Ben Ferris. I can sample up to 50 wines from self-service taps by either opening a tab or loading a prepaid card with a set number of 1.5-ounce pours; wines are also offered by the glass and carafe, and bottles on tap are available for purchase in the market, which carries an additional 100 bottles beyond what’s on tap. Ferris features “fan favorites” on tap alongside regional wines, wines made by women and people of color, and selections from smaller producers around the world. In addition to wine, I can build my own charcuterie and cheese board or order a panini, salad, or one of the weekly specials meant for pairing. The bar’s hours are Monday–Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday–Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m." - Beth McKibben
