Tasty Corner Opens With Big Bowls of Ramen and Hot, Boiled Seafood - Eater Vegas

"Tasty Corner has opened with a stand-out menu of hot boiled seafood, Asian noodle specialties like ramen and udon, and boba tea. The restaurant keeps the interior simple with colorful paper umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. Boiled seafood tossed in flavored butter comes to the table in a bag with a double layer of paper towel spread out to soak up the mess. Diners can choose from head-on or head-off shrimp, crawfish, snow crab, and mussels in various sauces and dictate the spice level. The ramen menu includes a flavorful tonkotsu black garlic ramen and other standards, all served in flavorful broths with silky, fresh noodles. Other menu items include fried rice, udon, and a smattering of starters like edamame and chicken wings. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with dine-in, take-out, and delivery options available." - Stephanie Carter

We ordered Yakisoba and the portion was a lot that we shared amongst us three. Also got 1 lb of garlic butter clams with an order of sausage that had a slight kick to it. We went at about 4pm on a Tuesday and we were the only ones there… but a couple later dined in and 2 people picked up their take out orders.

My papa and I have been coming here for quite a long time and everyone is very heart welcoming and the service is very fast.. The food is excellent.. truly amazing food. They countlessly check on us and are very friendly and helpful in any situation. This place is where I love to come to with my papa and we’re definitely gonna be coming back again!! Mahalo!!

First time here and wont be my last. Food was amazing. Service is exceptional. Great portions, flavors in each dish were bold. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great for date night or family night with the kids. The decor is Anime/Japanese themed. It makes you forget you’re in VEGAS I will be back.

Google
I ordered the chicken katsu curry and it was so good! The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the curry was also delicious. Our food was ready very quickly and was super fresh. It was very affordable and a cute stop for lunch.

Google
The only time I come here is with a Groupon, but I think I'll come by more often, the food has been really really TASTY lately. The meal I got came with seasoned fries, egg roll & I believe a won ton. As for the main course, a pound of shelless shrimp, corn & potatoes in a garlic sauce with a level 1 spice (0-4) level which was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to come back again

Google
Holy moly, my food was delicious. I don’t know why, but this was the best corn I’ve ever had in my life. We did two seafood boils with some crab raccoons. The service was fantastic very fast super Duper. This is what was left. 🤙🏼 👍👍 highly recommend, and while we were sitting here, there was another table filled with a family that recommends the Ramen!

Yelp
Very nice customer service :)the food amazing and so much for our special, even though off the strip worth the drive for a cozy hip little boil spot.

Yelp
Tasty corner is a great spot for a quick lunch with reasonable prices and great ramen. The service is quick and the restaurant is clean, though unassuming. The black garlic ramen I tried on a previous trip was awesome. This visit I tried the curry ramen with pork, with spice level 3/4.

Yelp
We entered to find the restaurant pleasantly quiet. We were immediately greeted and offered water. I ordered a hot latte, while Bit ordered an iced coffee and a Pepsi. The shrimp fried rice was delicious, though a little greasy. We also shared Combo A - potatoes, sausage, gyoza, fries, and egg rolls - with a spice level of two. It was very satisfying and left us feeling full. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
First off I grew up eating lots of asian foods and local food in Hawaii. I been wanting to eat comfort food for a while. This was my first time here. Looked good and read the reviews. It wasn't busy and I went around 6pm. It's a cute little place. Looked clean and inviting. The service was good. I drink a lot of water and they gave a nice iced pitcher. I ordered the Crab Rangoon and chicken katsu curry. I didn't have to wait long for my food. The reason I gave three stars is because the chicken and curry was not what I expected it to be. The first thing I noticed is the breading on the chicken. It didn't look crunchy. I'm not sure if it wasn't fried but it was not crunchy. It was like biting into soft bread. The chicken just didn't seem right. Then they curry was not how curry should be. If u look at my picture it was clumpy and hot. It was weird. It was like gravy sitting on the table for a while, but hot. I will not order that again. I did like the crab Rangoon tho. One day ill be back to try the ramen. The family sitting across seemed to like the food so I'm sure the other items are good.

Yelp
The ambience is very casual, but cute. The food was very flavorful and came out very quickly. And the service is very nice. It's a small mom and pop type setup. We enjoyed all of our food thoroughly. And the prices were fair. I would recommend this restaurant and I would try it again.

Yelp
Quality is not the same as in the past. Seafood boil used to be a great deal, not so anymore with the lack in quality.

Yelp
We visited on Saturday for lunch with a party of three adults and two small children and it was an ok experience. We arrived and were told to seat ourselves in their small dining area. The server came by and we placed our orders. We started with some apps; Pork Gyoza, Crab Rongoon, Shrimp Teppanyaki, and Baked Mussels. After that we went with Terriyaki Chicken, Curry Rice, Seafood Ramen, a pound of headless shrimp and a pound of clams. All the food was excellent, fresh and came out quickly. The "Oh My God" spice level had a tremendous kick. The quality and taste were great. The service was also good. There were a couple issues. First, I am not sure they had air conditioning or they were just trying to not use it. The door was wide open and the small seating area was the same temp as outdoors, which was warm. When the bill came, I noticed a 15% Room Service Charge. WTH?? We were not a large party and the server never mentioned this. They also had suggested gratuity percentages on their total bill, including this charge. Seems a bit shady, ended up costing their server a few bucks, as I would have tipped a lot more without this charge. Overall, great food, not so great charging practices.

Yelp
Their food and prices are amazing! Super clean location and friendly staff. Instead of paying high prices in other restaurants I recommend coming to Tasty corner their sea food is as delicious or more and less pricey. My son loved their ramen too. Their boba tea is on point
google avatar

Bebe L.

Yelp
I wish their location is more visible so people can see them coz their food is really good. We always order the tonkatsu ramen and the broth is delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was great. Server attentive busy and on the ball. Nice little place for date or bring the family. Food was fantastic as usual.

Yelp
First time ordering from here and I ordered online and you get a free appetizer for your first order. I got the spicy garlic edamame and chicken wings. 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1/2 lb of clams in the mixed sauce. The sauce isn't like a traditional boil where it's butter and garlic forward, tasted more sweet with some spice-wasn't bad just different. But the edamame was awful it tasted burned and the wings weren't bad but you can tell they used some pre-packaged/breaded wings. I expected something different. Overall it was ok, wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

Yelp
We discovered this corner through Groupon! Groupon offered a sea food boil bag with fries egg roll (1pc) and gyoza (1pc) for $12. Loved the sea food boil so much I didn't have time to take a photo :( we also ordered the tonkatsu ramen, it was good. The egg that came with it was cold and the bowl of ramen was warm not hot hot. But still good. It is a small place but the waiter was great.

Jun A.

Yelp
Good food fast service definitely will come back again and try the seafood combo must try

Mireya L.

Yelp
Lots of parking the Resturant is tucked in a corner a little hard to see from the Main Street. Great customer service, we were served immediately inside there is decorative umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. What we ordered: Drinks: Hokkaido: $3.95 plus .50 for boba The flavor was delicious almost like a milk coffee and the honey boba was fresh and hot. Strawberry: $3.95 plus .50 for boba Delicious taste of strawberry Appetizers: Cajun Fries: $4.95 Pretty food straight fries, cooked perfectly topped with Cajun seasoning. Takoyaki: $5.95 Tasted like a cheese ball with two thick round tough pieces of octopus. Wasn't great and a strong fishy smell. Chicken Karaage: $6.55 Decent chicken paired with a "Cajun" Mayo Pork Katsu Curry Rice Bowl: So-So Spice $11.95 Wasn't so-so was spicy, curry was very thick could have been thinned out a tad. The pork Katsu wasn't great over cooked thin pieces of tough pork in a bland batter. Udon Shrimp Tempura: (Pan-Fried) $10.95 Was ok flavor had no spice, the shrimp tempura wasn't made from in house can tell it was from a package. There was three pieces, the udon was stir fried with huge chunks of cabbage and a a very large amount of bean sprouts. Black Garlic Ramen: $11.95 So-so again was very spicy good flavor strong taste of sesame oil. But overall was good. Meat was tender and noodles were cooked well. 1/2 lb. Crawfish (Mixed sauce) $7.95 A lot of work for a little bit of meat, the flavor was very good though. Probably the best thing we had

Yelp
I found this on group on. I live very close by and never knew this restaurant existed. It's set back from the street and is very small. But the food was incredible, from seafood boil to their version of miso soup. The portions were very generous.
google avatar

Gabbiiee B.

Yelp
Very yummy, good prices and great customer service , will come back for sure. Decorations are adorable too
google avatar

Darlyn C.

Yelp
I honestly can't tell why this place has 4 star ratings when they're food is almost less than mediocre. I'll admit the broth is delicious but nothing really special about it. The food came out fairly quickly but again, nothing special. The breading on the chicken katsu was disappointing and flavorless. If you're looking for something quick and somewhat decent, I'd recommend this.

Gabriel S.

Yelp
Everything here was Soo good, we got the chicken curry and the miso ramen and both was fantastic. The ambiance of the place is super cute perfect for friends or partners. Staff was very friendly and polite And friendly, this place is a 10/10 must try

Yelp
Janpanese food with boiling crab. Reasonable price and nice service come with my family couple time. Really like it and big recommendation
google avatar

Treshia M.

Yelp
I was craving curry so I decided to order from this business on UberEats. I feel like this place might be better in person than delivery. I have orderd from this place a few times to give it a chance on what food they are good in. I have ordered their Chicken katsu curry and some fried shrimp tempura, I realized at how light brown the fry is on the chicken katsu. By the time I got it, any of the fried items are kind of soggy. The fried shrimp had abit of a oil taste. The curry was kind of bland too. I have also tried their tonkatsu black garlic ramen in the past and I think I enjoyed their ramen more than their curry. Their boba is probably something I would reorder, I really enjoy their strawberry milk tea. The Okinawa milk tea is really creamy but I have also enjoyed it. I think I would definitely need to try this place in person to get it's best quality.
google avatar

Lilly S.

Yelp
The food here is so tasty! I always get the udon, fried rice, or katsu curry and I'm blown away every time. Fast, consistent service and a great place to eat.
google avatar

Andy S.

Yelp
Cute little place. Food was amazing. Waiter was very helpful & nice. I'll definitely be coming here often.
google avatar

Yelp
Business is small and hidden. Everything tasted good! Service was quick and efficient! Only thing I'd change is to give more chicken karaage sauce.

Yelp
Ordered delivery, which came quickly. Unfortunately everything except the chashu rice bowl was packaged in styrofoam clamshells, which were partly deformed by the hot food. The food was mediocre and mostly tasted like frozen versions you can buy from the grocery store. Gyoza: These were deep fried, not pan fried, and I'm sure were cooked from frozen. They were bland, and the dipping sauce tasted like plain soy sauce. Crab Rangoon: These had almost no filling, and what there was was bland. I didn't have high expectations from a Japanese place, but I got suckered in by a 2 for 1 deal. They were easily the worst crab rangoons I've ever had. Shrimp Curry Rice: The curry was bland and gritty. Tasted like a store bought brick that hadn't been fully dissolved. The shrimp were tempura fried, so they got soggy in the curry. I've never ordered shrimp curry where the shrimp were anything but panko fried. The rice was overcooked. Shameful for a Japanese restaurant. Chashu Pork Rice Bowl: As with the curry, the rice was overcooked and mushy, which is unforgivable when it's one of the two ingredients in your bowl. The chashu was fine, but nothing special. I'd prefer if it came sliced with some benishoga as garnish. Chashu Yakisoba: This was easily the worst dish we tried. We ordered carrots, onions, and kikurage as add-ons, and they came cold and raw in a separate container. The carrots were literally a small handful of grocery store baby carrots, not even sliced or chopped. The onion was about 1/4 of an uncooked yellow onion sliced thick. I'm guessing the yakisoba is made ahead of time and not cooked to order for the add-ons to not be cooked with the noodles. In any case, the noodles were overcooked and bland. It came with no garnish. I'd like to see at least a scoop of benishoga and maybe some sprinkled bonito flakes or shredded nori. Overall Tasty Corner did not live up to its name. Do yourself a favor and go the few extra miles toward Chinatown for one of the much better Japanese bistros in town.

Yelp
Best food in the world. Would 100% recommend, has so many great options! Food was fresh and warm! :) The service was wonderful, very kind staff! For sure coming again!!
google avatar

Yelp
Service was not good in the beginning we waited for like 10-15 mins to be seated I know they saw us in the back also so I was surprised. The coupon said dine in only so when we already paid for our food I was surprise had our food in Togo bags !! I told her we wanted to dine in she change everything for dine in and gave us complementary water . Ambiance was very nice clean chill music food was a little salty and hot was not hot at all the Groupon deal was very good you have to buy crab separately so it's a shrimp or crawfish or clam boil drinks are not included crew can be a lot friendlier and interactive also don't have anyone waiting for 10 mins to order food and place is empty
google avatar

Panisara B.

Yelp
The food is so good ! Fast service . Not too crowded and have good music . Next time want to try the ramen.

Yelp
I had ordered from this place once before and wanted to try their seafood boiled green mussels this time, so I ordered one pound of green mussels. Drove all the way there to pick it up. After I got home I found out they gave me the wrong item. It wasn't one pound of seafood boiled green mussels, it was 5 pieces of baked mussels with some kind of sauce that didn't smell appealing to me. I called the restaurant and she told me to come back for the correct order of green mussels but it took me 20 mins each way. I wasn't going to drive back there again. She took my name down for next time ordering. When I asked for a refund, she said she would check with her manager and give me a call back. I haven't received a call back, so I had to reach out to Ubereats for help. Then the egg fried rice was also a disappointment. The ingredients shown on the menu that the egg fried rice consists of eggs, green onions, bean sprouts, and corn. But there was only eggs and corn, NO bean sprouts or green onions. Additionally, I ordered extra rice but the size itself was like a regular size. Very plain, not tasty. At this point, not sure if I would order from here again after this experience.

Yelp
Ordered Togo here for dinner. They had BOGO free starters if you order/pay online. We got chicken wings, shrimp tempura, chicken karage, baked mussels, chicken nuggets and Thai tea. We also got the garlic ramen, a curry ramen and yakisoba. My kids loved the chicken wings and shrimp tempura. They didn't like the nuggets. Everything tasted great. Ramen came with lots of noodles. Only thing we didn't really like was the yakisoba. Everything only cost us $50. Great deal for the amount of food we got. Will definitely order again. Sorry we forgot to take pics of the food before eating.
google avatar

Ron P.

Yelp
The food was great. The boil was spot on. The Seaford Yakisoda was very good but small. The restaurant is small and you can miss it if you don't GPS it the first time. The staff where helpful and very polite. We will be back.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
First time to come to this place and wow the foods is amazing and the service is fast look for Debby the server she is really nice and sweet. Going back again my favorite is black Garlic Ramen must try

Angelina C.

Yelp
delicious food, friendly & attentive service, clean establishment. We got a $10 Groupon for a seafood boil and it was pretty good!
google avatar

Nette B.

Yelp
Stopped by here cause we were looking for Asian. Well, at first I wanted to order a Ramen but decided on the crab boil. Food: Crab Boil with Snow Crab Legs, Shrimp with Head On and added corn and sausage. We ordered it mild-medium with Tasty Special Sauce. What stood out is the lemon served in the middle of the bag. Perfect!!! It did not have the sauce all over. The Crab was cooked perfectly. Easy to crack and it wasn't overcooked. The only negative with this dish is it needed garlic. Overall, a great place and I can't wait to taste the Ramen. Service is good.
google avatar

Angel K.

Yelp
Tasty Corner is a little mom and pop spot in NLV. It's kept very nice and clean and the staff is pretty small. Not going to lie, I did read reviews and was skeptical but my friend loves it here. There's anime stuff all over the walls & umbrellas on the ceiling & very cute. It's a decent size inside with many tables. They serve ramen, stir fried noodles, sea food boils, and rice bowls. Rice bowls are Japanese curry, unagi bowls, chashu bowls. The curry bowls you choose toppings. Seafood are lobster tails, snow crabs, mussels, clams, crawfish, shrimp. Similar to hot n juicy and those types of places but just a smaller menu. You pick sauces, spice level, and different add ins. I got shrimp and mussels and their house special sauce & I really loved the sauce. I would say it was a bit salty but it was good. The shrimp and mussels were cooked well. Service is a bit slow ans food comes out kind of slow. Overall I liked how it wasn't busy, the food was good, and it's affordable. I feel like everything they have is good, not great. I can find better everything else where but I would also still come back here so it's more of a 4 for me.
google avatar

Erik A.

Yelp
Ordered food from a delivery service. Shrimp tempura Seafood boil Ramen All items were excellent.

Faith J.

Yelp
Came in for an early dinner with my boys and I was delightfully surprised at how good everything was . We used the Groupon special but I will definitely be back . The food came out quick and was extremely hot . Everything was so fresh and the service was great . It's a small place but it's truly good and worth giving it a try !!
google avatar

Johnny C.

Yelp
Great seafood boil every time i go! Service is fast and reliable. It's never very busy and prices are very good

Darius G.

Yelp
Amazing service, yummy food and very affordable would recommend to anyone craving seafood
google avatar

Alicia F.

Yelp
Great food selection. I really like the Ramen and rice bowls. I recommend trying this local spot prices are reasonable also.
google avatar

Tonia M.

Yelp
This use to be my favorite place for good shrimp fried rice. But I hate to say it isn't so good anymore. Seems like they don't season anymore and the shrimp is raw and just illled ion top of the rice. You have to mix ir yourself. Note to Mention portion size is smaller now. Have to spend 10 dollars elsewhere. Disappointing.
google avatar

Daneshea M.

Yelp
10/10, with fire boba and customer service. First place in Vegas where I didn't have to wait to eat, so this was a 100% win !!! Definitely coming back when I visit Vegas
google avatar

Becky H.

Yelp
Came with groupon voucher and it was a lot of food for the price. I'm also doing this review so my drink can be free.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Well well well. Let me start at, this is a delivery turned take-out only review. So yes will be based strictly on, menu, prep, deliverytime and , flavour Let me just say, when you are hungry and need a good choice of food styles, this is not a bad menu to check out. Ramen for the cold days, seafood boil for that cajun crave, fried rice and noodles for carbs lol, they even have wings, tempura shrimp, green mussels, and even cajun fries for starters. Used the YELP! App to make my online order which is always easy. Choose your dish, pick any extras you want, choose heat level, and add any other special instructions if needed for you picky peeps out there. When finished, placed order. Gave me a 30 - 60 minute window. They use Grubhub. What ordered: 1lb. Head on shrimp with garlic butter 1lb. Mussels in tasty special sauce Cajun fries Sweet potatoes fries. 6:31 I get a call that the order was canceled. The reason. All roads closed. ALL ROADS CLOSED?! What I did. Went to the restaurant. Had to reorder and wait. Defeats the purpose of delivery right? Not their fault. ALL GRUB HUB! Driver picked up, saw that there was a block road by my home, and canceled the order. No call at all. Guess what? He kept the order too!!! Wait on my review on GrubHub. Customer service is a riot. ANYWAYS! Had to reorder and wait a second time. So the food. The shrimp head on was not that bad. You can tell that they were frozen due to the chewyness. But size not too shabby here. Flavour was spot on. The mussels were same, chewy. Size was comparable to Pier 88s mussels. Loved the tasty sauce. Not too salty. The sweet potatoes fries were the thick style fries. A bit soggy Cajun fries were meh. Alot better when dipped into the garlic or tasty sauce. Overall, not too shabby. Great substitute for Pier 88 or hot and juicy. The verdict. I'll give them another try definitely. Not too disappointing for seafood boil. But they have a large variety of other choices that may be their actual signature dish or cooking style. I think it's ramen here. Worth a try. Update soon.

Yelp
deluxe ramen, black ramen , bucket of shrimp and mussels, chicken teriyaki.. ... and free bobasssss!!! ample parking spaces, although the place might only accomodate 25-ish people, the SERVICE is indeed DELUXE!!!! The guy who helped us- is probably the owner 'coz he really treats us REALLY nice!! (if he's not- he deserved a raise!!) Everything is delish, the shrimp's cajun spice is not that strong, chicken teriyaki at it's finest! My little boy really liked it- this serving is really big so we shared his food. Great place! I recommend! Don't forget to check in YELp for your free boba! weeeei!!!!
google avatar

Amber Z.

Yelp
Order through a third party vendor this evening. Ordered Crab Rangoon, Chicken Chashu Bowl, Chicken Nuggets, and Thai Tea Though the food was cool due to the third party it was still delicious. The food had great flavor.
google avatar

Ruthy A.

Yelp
The server is sweet! The place is small but clean and aesthetically pleasing and cozy. Super delicious !! I tried the Takoyaki 10/10 freshly made and great taste. I also love the Chicken Yakisoba! I went on a different day with my mom who is a bit picky and she really liked the chicken ramen. We ordered no spice or soso meals (the soso may be spicy for those that are not used to it) The thai tea boba blended was soo good and I ordered the Coffee blended a different day it was a 10/10 My husband got the Chicken katsu Curry, he said it was a 10. He liked that the curry had a lot of flavor and the chicken was good and tasted fresh. The food is better tasting in person than from Uber, it gets cold and a bit mushy when delivered. It looses flavor

Yelp
DO NOT EAT HERE.Was looking foward @ eating @ this new spot.Screwed again in Las Vegas. This is why these people go out of business...they try to put out mediocre food and get top price.Ordered the lobster ramen.Researched the dish on line.It was supposed to have lobster tail(which it had)....squid ....crab...mussels and shrimp.I was engrossed in.conversation and didn't realize until I was almost done eating this bland pile of noodles that there were no other shellfish!!!!When I asked the server about it ....she replied "Oh..you only get all the other shellfish if you order it on line."But I am paying $19.95 for it dining in....same price on line???????WTF??Thats why they only had two people eating there...besides me and my friend. The lobster broth was bland tasteless and then you just had a bunch of noodles...nothing else.Go to China Town.Never had a bad dish anywhere in China Town.Oh for an online business the phone never rang..wonder why.If I could give the place a zero I would.Trying to rip off the public.I am so mad.
