"I recently visited Tasty Corner at 4588 North Rancho Drive, which has opened with a stand-out menu of hot boiled seafood, Asian noodle specialties like ramen and udon, and boba tea. Hot boiled seafood and ramen steal the spotlight at the tidy restaurant, which keeps the interior simple with colorful paper umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. Boiled seafood tossed in flavored butter arrives in a bag set on a double layer of paper towel to soak up the mess; you can choose head-on or head-off shrimp, crawfish, snow crab, and mussels and pick from “Tasty special,” lemon pepper, garlic butter, or Cajun sauces with your preferred spice level. The ramen menu features a flavorful tonkotsu black garlic ramen along with many standards, all served in flavorful broths with silky, fresh noodles — the menu even labels this section “the perfect ramen.” Other offerings include fried rice, udon, and starters such as edamame and chicken wings. The location previously housed Kau Kau Kitchen (which closed toward the end of 2020) and House of Aloha; Tasty Corner is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with dine-in, take-out, and delivery available via thewebsite." - Stephanie Carter
