"Back in the day, John Gorham ran this global brunch and dinner chainlet, which served a number of small plates as well as larger boards designed to share at three separate locales during its lifetime. Gorham has left the brand behind, and Chefstable picked up the pieces to open Tasty 2.0. Many of the greatest hits remain — egg-topped breakfast bravas, the Southwestern steak-and-eggs relative known as the “cowboy breakfast,” Tasty N Alder’s bibimbap bacon and eggs, shakshuka — as well as additions from Portland’s new favorite pastry chef, Katherine Benvenuti." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

We had a big group for brunch and was glad they were able to seat us all together (we made reservations ahead of time)! However, they wouldn’t split the check which was weird, even though we had 18 different people ordering their own meals. They said it was because they do everything family style, but this seemed more like an excuse to not have to split checks and to be able to bring food out whenever it was finished rather than all at once. We thought the portions would be shareable because it was “family style”, but they were definitely only one-person sized portions. Other than that, the food was really good! It’s fun that they have a changing menu. My favorite thing I tried was the ginger carrot bread with cream cheese. The biscuit (pictured) was good and they had a great selection of drinks. My croque madame was good but honestly a little too cheesy for my tastes. Definitely a place worth checking out for brunch!

I was so excited to try Tasty. What a beautiful location with wonderful indoor and outdoor seating! Dining where you share your plates is so much fun! The combination of tastes we had was delightful. The Burrata Board arrived first. The bread was grilled and perfect with the peaches, tomatoes and luscious burrata. The French Toast then arrived with berries, marionberry syrup and a dollop of cream. It wasn’t overwhelming sweet but it was delicious. Our Steak and cheddar eggs also arrived and it was a perfect dish to share as we each had two small pieces of meat cooked to my perfection! The steak and eggs were served with jalapeño cornbread! It was tasty also, but admittedly I was full, so I could only have a bite. I had an Oregon Orchard cocktail (bubbles) that had gin, Cava and apricot liqueur. It was a fun brunch cocktail! The service was wonderful and I loved that I could make a reservation in advance!! I am excited to try dinner in the future!

I went to Tasty because my 7 year old wanted to try it (he's an adventurous eater). We didn't have a reservation but they still managed to seat us. The staff is wonderful, the dishes are varied with options for everyone, and my son says it's one of his top 5 restaurants. We tried: - The Spanish octopus - The Tasty mac and cheese (they have a version for kids also) - Several shrub sodas - The buccatini - The radicchio salad - The burrata salad - The Mississippi mud pie - The passion fruit tart They were all excellent, aside from the radicchio salad which was a tad too salty. So glad they're in Lake Oswego now!

We were really excited to try this one! We used to love the one on Williams, and unfortunately this one does not live up to the good memories. Every meal had something missing. We started with the Burrata which really lacked a punch.. Next we got the Patatas Bravas which were very bland. The Trout Grenobloise tasted burned, we could not taste the lemon at all. I wish they left a slice of it on the side. Someone next to us ordered the Alaskan Halibut and that looked tasty. My boyfriend ordered the Tasty Burger and said he liked it, although the chips weren’t that great. The service and the staff was nice. The place didn’t have much ambiance at first but they turned on the music later at night and it was better. The kitchen is very loud, but we sat just next to it, other tables might be better. Overall I’m still giving a 4 star review because I understand this is a new restaurant and it’s during Covid. Will maybe give an other try in a couple weeks!

Really amazing food! Everything we got was hearty and flavorful. The place itself is clean and chic a with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I really cannot recommend it enough. We went for brunch and I would order everything we ordered again. I am very full and happy now.

Food is delicious! We tried the hush puppies, tasty burger, and the grilled short rib sandwich. All items were 10/10!

We had a late reservation on valentines day and could not have had a better time! The appetizers were DELISH -- be sure to get the cauliflower appetizer- I didn't know cauliflower could taste that good!! The drinks were good and prices were reasonable. In my opinion, the entrees were a little lackluster becuase they had been so outshined by the apps.

The croque madame here holds more power than the One Ring. Each member of our party tried the dish, and I fear what I may have seen had I had the power to visualize the thoughts in peoples’ minds…. We would have killed each other for that croque madame. And I would not have been the last man standing. There were smiles all around. I barely escaped this restaurant with my life. Five stars.
