Tasty Modern Asian Kitchen is hands-down one of the best places to eat in San Antonio. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful — every dish is crafted with care and presented beautifully. Whether you’re craving noodles, rice bowls, or small plates, everything on the menu hits the spot. What really stood out to me was the service. Cristy, our server, was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. She gave great suggestions and made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. Allen, the manager, also came by to check on us — you can tell he genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and runs a tight, professional operation. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for delicious Asian fusion with top-notch service. Will definitely be coming back!

We found our new favorite dim sum in San Antonio Tasty Modern Asian Kitchen. The decor was light, elegant, and welcoming. Food was FRESH & hot! Dishes were served as soon as they were ready. We enjoyed the: -BBQ pork steam buns - meat was tender and the bun had the perfect amount of sweetness to it -Pork Siu Mai - flavor on flavor! This was the best pork Siu Mai I've ever had. -Soup dumplings - hot, fresh, flavorful perfection. -Peking duck - if anyone has ever had better Peking duck in the state I'd like to know where because the skin was crispy and meat was juicy, tender, and flavorful. -Yangzhou fried rice was more protein (shrimp & pork) than rice and this is NOT a complaint. We will be back very soon 😉

This restaurant has a great variety of amazing Asian food. We started with crab rangoons and steamed dumplings, which were both very good. They came out so fast and hot. The smaller Dim Sum portions were perfect, so we could try multiple types. The BBQ pork pastries were very nice, but the pineapple lava buns were amazing. For the main course, we shared a half Peking duck, which came with some very nice steamed buns on the side. The skin was perfectly crisp, and the meat was juicy. We also had the honey glazed walnut prawns plate and the Golden Shrimp Balls plate. One with white rice, one with fried. Both were just excellent. The flavor and freshness were off the chart. The service was outstanding. But be fair warned, our waiter let us know that there were some big changes coming to the menu. But I do hope they will still have some of my new favorites when I go back, lol.

One of the better dim sum and Cantonese/Sichuan places in town, definitely better than Luscious, which is why I am surprised this place isn't getting as much love. Sunny was an amazing waitress, she had great recommendations and was very attentive and funny. The manager also made rounds and was kind to my mom and made her laugh. The other servers helped each other, so excellent service. People complained about the wait in the reviews but honestly the food tasted fresh, came out hot, was definitely made to order. So that was more than worth any wait we had, which really wasn't much at all. The food was flavorful with huge portions, so everything can be shared family style which is definitely recommended and for really reasonable prices. We ordered three dim sum plates, the green beans, fried rice, the salt and pepper calamari, and the pork belly and it was less than $90 and enough to feed 4-5 people. The soup dumplings had so much soup in them, they exploded in your mouth. The pork belly was moist, well seasoned and the skin was so crispy on top you could hear it crunch. Really recommend the salt and pepper calamari! And the Yangzhou fried rice was really good too. Sunny told us that they don't use MSG at the restaurant, which was nice to hear. She told us if we didn't like the salt level in things we just tell her and she'd fix it. The seating was spacious, the restaurant was clean and well lit. Literally no complaints. I'm sad that I didn't get any pictures before we started eating. Really recommend this place!

Google
I went to Tasty for the First time after all the hype has settled and honestly was one of the best resteraunts in town. The server Kaylin did a phenomenal job on recommending items on the menu that were "TASTY". I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and I was satisfied with the superior service. During the dine in experience I had Beijing Roast Duck, Shanghai Steamed Soup Dumplings, Pineapple Lavr Buns. Steamed BBQ Pork Buns. Furthermore, the duck and BBQ Pork Buns were my favorite and highly recommended to try it if you intend to dine in. Overall, the Resteraunt was clean, food was fresh, atmosphere was amazing and service was on point! I highly recommend this resteraunt and will return in future to try other things on the menu.

Google
Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything we had here was incredible. We ordered the chicken fried rice, potstickers, Peking duck, and pork belly. All of it was great, but the pork belly was next level, easily the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. Adrian was our server and he was awesome! Super attentive without being o and the food came out way faster than we expected. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to come back.

We found the best Cantonese dishes in San Antonio! We tried many dishes, we love the Cantonese Style Roast Duck and Dim Sum! Macau Roast Pork Belly and Singapore Fried Vermicelli are also delicious! Great service, the manager Alan and waiter Aaron are very friendly!

Google
Service and food were amazing! Very clean restaurant with a beautiful ambiance! Decorum was very classy. Cecelia was a delight! Very friendly and just as sweet as can be! The lemon chicken and duck vermicelli were delicious! We also tried the Rangoons and they were served quickly and were piping hot and melted right in your mouth! Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Service was so sweet from the moment we walked in. They remembered us from our first visit. We will definitely come back to try more of their food!

Yelp
OMG Delicious. Tasty lives up to its name. The food is amazing. We ordered dim sum. Very reasonable price for what they deliver. All the staff are so kind and welcoming. Our server Adrian was the best. Ask him to make his recommendation for hot tea, you won't regret it. Thank you for the great experience.

Yelp
10 out of 5 for us! I cannot say enough about how excellent this restaurant is: the food is outstanding! Every dish we had was perfectly cooked and seasoned for optimum deliciousness. Everything is freshly prepared and piping hot. The service is excellent (and they are well staffed--it makes all the difference). The decor is gorgeous and meets a lovely Asian aesthetic. The manager made his rounds and checked on the people dining. They have amazing dim sum and a huge menu of items to choose from. Before going here, we thought our favorite Asian restaurants were in Houston. Austin has some pretty good Asian restaurants. Now, San Antonio has this AMAZING restaurant; which I can say has some of the best Asian food I've had in a very, very long time. There is something for everyone. No MSG Only two minor things: 1. I wish they had Asian or classical music; but, I can live with it. 2. The name Tasty doesn't express it strongly enough; it's DELICIOUS Modern Asian Kitchen! We look forward to our next trip! Pictures next time; but, there are plenty photos on Yelp and they do not lie!

Yelp
I ate here for the first time, and it instantly became my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Antonio. The flavors and quality reminded me of my go to spot in San Francisco's Chinatown... which says a lot. I'm genuinely thrilled that we have something this special right here in SA. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and surprisingly, the place wasn't busy. Honestly? That won't last long. A spot this good deserves to be packed, so here I am, putting you on. The ambiance hits that sweet spot... modern and clean, but still casual. Think date night approved but totally jeans acceptable. Stylish without being stuffy. What we ordered: Scallion Duck Rolls Macau Roast Pork Belly Shredded Roast Duck Fried Rice Sweet and Sour Pork The scallion duck rolls? Speechless. I could've eaten a whole plate by myself. Everything came out family style, which I love because I get to taste a bit of everything. The service was great too...our server was kind and attentive without hovering. I'll definitely be back for the fresh lobster. This spot is a gem, and I'm not gatekeeping.

Yelp
The food here is delicious, with generous portion sizes that make it well worth the visit. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, thoughtfully divided into two sections, creating a comfortable and social atmosphere which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. The dim sum selection is also solid, offering a nice variety of options. I tried the Peking Duck and was pleasantly surprised. It's been a while since I've had a good one. It's great to see a spot in San Antonio finally serving decent Peking Duck, along with authentic Cantonese-style roasted duck and Char Siu. I'll definitely be coming back to try those next!

Yelp
I was so excited about a new dim sum place opening up in town. The restaurant itself was very clean and nicely renovated. The flavor wasn't bad for most of the dishes but they are a little on the expensive side for dimsum. The service does leave something to be desired though. People brought out the wrong food to our table multiple times but didn't know what we were saying in English when we tried to ask about our food. I ordered to go once too and the cashier charged me for the wrong order. Hopefully things get better once they work out the kinks of a new business

Yelp
Service was awesome. The place was very clean and bright. All dishes were tasty except for the egg tart. A little disappointed with how much meat I got for the pork belly. Also I am not sure why they didnt do the standard cart dim sum. But that's not really a problem I will definitely be back

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch. Greeted by a super friendly staff Nice having more dim sum options here in town.

Yelp
We've seen a few posts about this new restaurant and visited for lunch today. @tastymodernasian is located where the previous 210 Ceviche was. The renovation was done very well. Although they do not have the rolling carts, dimsum is on the menu. Everything was fast, fresh and tasty! We started with the Crab and Fish Maw Soup. Plenty of fish maw but not too much crab. We only ordered 2 dimsum items: BBQ Pork Pastries (cha siu so) and the Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls. The Shrimp were jumbo, fresh and best in town! The Beef Flat Rice Noodle was fantastic. The beef was very tender. Pork Belly was another great dish. We tried their Peking Duck and it was very flavorful. They come with buns instead of pancakes, which my husband prefers. The duck is like the ones in Houston! It's so nice that there are more and more authentic Chinese restaurants in town. Put this on your bucket list. We didn't even get to try the soup dumplings. That will be for the next visit.

Yelp
Ate at noon on a Monday, easily seated for a party of 4. Ordered mainly dimsum plus the chicken teriyaki lunch special. Glad they had dimsum to offer, what took out one star was the lack of attentiveness in the service. They started serving food but it was hard for us to stop and ask for silverware and small plates; and do extra orders because the people bringing out the food were different from our actual server. Felt rushed in a sense when there were more tables available anyway. Otherwise, would come back still when craving for dimsum. My son enjoyed the chicken teriyaki lunch special special, 9.99 with an egg roll and soup. Pretty good deal!

Yelp
No wait time. Seated quickly. Had an amazing server, Aaron who did a great job describing menu items, and we ended up ordering some very interesting dishes. The Macau Roast Pork Belly was phenomenal! The sugar added a unique taste. OMG! The Black Fungus & Cucumber Salad was amazing. Our Dim Sum selections, of Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice with Chicken ordered a variety of flavors that were so savory. The Chicken Pan-Fried Buns were crispy and delicious. The Garlic Stir Fried Bok Choy was earthy and seasoned perfectly. The Coconut Osmanthus Cakes were absolutely amazing! Definitely be back for more! The decor was simply yet elegant.

Yelp
We were greeted immediately and seated. The server was really nice but seemed to rush us when we were trying to decide (mind you it's not a small menu) but then disappeared for a bit after we ordered. We had to keep trying to flag her down. Our food was brought out right away but in sprints by other people. The Peking duck was excellent! Not too oily, cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. You have the option of crepes or buns. I chose the crepes because it's lighter and just tastes good. I asked for more but she said it's $6.99 for 6 more because it already comes with 6, I opted out. The beef rice rolls on the dim sum menu was quite different from all the other places I've tried it at. The ground beef was a bit mushy like a half cooked meatloaf or like there was fillers in there. The rice noodles were very thick as well. I wasn't a fan of that. We also got the soup dumplings, the meat to juice to dumpling ratio was really off. There was entirely too much meat inside, it was not soupy at all, overall if was dry, hard pass. The chicken lomein was flavorful but extremely oily, like it was drenched in oil after being plated, almost inedible. We took it home and soaked it on some paper towels. The sautéed green beans (we ordered without the meat) was perfect, garlicky, so savory and a nice crunch. Now.... My biggest issue was the amount of gnats flying around. It was insane and equally annoying. I kept looking. Around to see if it was just out table but I can see them flying around everything, nothing worse than having to keep swatting bugs while you eat. The server apologized, but this issue needs to be addressed. We couldn't take it anymore, we packed up and left. I'll give it another try in the future for some Peking duck and green beans again. And I'll try something else as well.

Yelp
I'm glad they now serve dim all day. When they first opened, we went as a family, to try their dim sum menu in the evening and they were only serving it for lunch. Now they serve it all day. I've eaten here twice and everything I ate good. I had to be careful in my choices because I don't like sweet sauces that Chinese foods tend to have. My favorite thing was the eggplant on the dim sum menu. I enjoyed the textures and flavors of everything we tried from the dim sum menu. My mom and I shared chicken lettuce wraps from the appetizer menu. They were OK but I wish they had a better sauce. It was sweet, and if I was to order again, I would ask for a savory/spicy sauce. The restaurant has spacious booths and it's pretty inside. They staff are kind and accommodating. I will definitely return.

Yelp
It's our third visit and still impressed. This is our third time visiting Tasty Modern Asian Kitchen, and I'm finally taking a moment to share a review. Tasty is a fantastic addition to San Antonio's growing Asian food scene. While dim sum is only served during lunch hours (10:30 AM to 3:00 PM), it's already clear that Golden Wok finally has some competition. From our very first visit about a month ago. We were impressed. The building has a sleek yet understated exterior that suits the "modern Asian" theme perfectly. Inside, the decor is tasteful and modest, creating a warm, homey ambience--like enjoying a meal in your own dining room with family and friends. Allan (I hope I'm spelling it right), the manager, brings a wonderful sense of hospitality all the way from Reno. He stood out from the beginning with his friendly, welcoming attitude and attention to every table. He recommended the Macau Roast Port Belly, but I said I was leaning to the crispy chicken instead. On our second visit, my aunt and uncle ordered the pork while I tried the chicken--both dishes were absolutely delicious. During our most recent visit last Saturday, the experience was just as impressive. We ordered a feast: half an order of Beijing Roast Duck, Ginger & Scallion Beef Tripe, Sizzling Black Bean Sauce Chicken, Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls, Crispy Fried Tofu, Braised Seasonal Vegetables with Mushrooms and Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice with Chicken and a whole lot of doggy bags for our leftovers. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Customer service and hospitality: Check Cleanliness and ambience: Check Food quality and taste: Check And the plating? Spot on. Tasty has officially become our new go-to spot for Dimsum and authentic Chinese cuisine. Compared to the overly salty and greasy offerings at Golden Wok, the food here is balanced, flavorful and lived up to the name--truly tasty. One clear sign that this is an authentic Chinese restaurant: the number of Asian diners we see every time we visit. That's usually a great indicator that the food is both traditional and well-executed. Unlike some other places that cater more to Americanized tastes, Tasty delivers the real deal. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Food was really good but a couple items were different tasting. The BbQ pork boa was different, the soy sauce for the shrimp rice role tasted like they had some licorice spice to it. Didn't like either of them The steamed beancurd rolls were excellent and you get three instead of usual 2. Beef chow fun was good too, fresh rice noodles, not like the pad Thai dried ones A few other items were also good Service excellent Wish they gave us knives. The forks are the heaviest I've ever had in any restaurant Hot and fresh this place along with the modern decor will make it. Good place to bring a date guys! Love how the manager came by and asked for our honest opinions. I'm always honest! Worth trying

Yelp
I decided to go back and give this place a chance after dining and getting a fly in our food I believe it has been a month since my last visit and the place is more infested with flies. I mentioned that to a manager, he snapped at me saying they are addressing the problem with pointing at just one light trap in the restaurant! Now I am starting to question the sanitation in this establishment. While the food taste is just ok... also since it is one of the couple options we have in town for dim sum... I wanted badly to like it and find excuses to come back. Now I am left with none! I can confirm this time I will never be back

Jason O.

Yelp
5/5 every time we come. Tried the salt and pepper lobster $35 for a whole live lobster and as you can see it's didn't stand a chance.

Yelp
Definitely ask for the chili oil, the best part. I was also pleasantly surprised by the personal hot & sour soup bowl. I highly suggest it.
google avatar

Dondrea S.

Yelp
We tried the black bean chicken, crab rangoons and soup dumplings. All of our food was very tasty. The chicken was so tender. The customer service was great! I absolutely appreciate the menu. There was a picture with every menu item! Sunshine & Andy we'll be back! Oh and the decor was pretty neat to look at too.

Yelp
I was so excited to finally have dim sum in San Antonio but was very disappointed. Just a note, dim sum is only served during lunch and ends at 3:00pm. My friends and I ordered the classic dim sum dishes and only enjoyed 2-3 of them. Some major notes: *Beef Tripe: This wasn't prepared well and had an odd after taste that was too gamey. *Soup Dumplings: The wrappers soaked all of the soup up and came out soggy, making them break apart. Please don't get this unless you want to be severely disappointed, they looked better in the pictures. *Crystal Shrimp & Chive Dumplings: The shrimp was so big that this was my favorite thing here. *Fried Shrimp & Pork Puffs were also pretty good. *Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls: I think the shrimp dishes here were the best. *Pork & Shrimp Xiu Mai: This was okay, you can't really mess this up. *Beef + *BBQ Pork Rice Noodles Rolls: There wasn't really much flavor here, I would pass on these next time. Now service could definitely be improved on ... For some reason, my table received double of everything and none of the servers were of much help. At one point we had 6 containers of dumplings on our table and when we brought it up to a waitress, she did not care enough to deal with it and told us to just keep them. It got ridiculous when we started receiving up to 4-6 of everything and were concerned if we'd be charged for any of it. I also noticed the manager went to greet every other table around us except for ours, even though he was aware of our situation. Our server had to handle it herself despite bringing it up to her manager multiple times. The restaurant itself looked very nice and clean, there was marble everywhere and plenty of seating. I'm not sure if something went wrong with their system considering we went on their 2nd day open, but I hope it improves soon as they had so much potential.

Yelp
The food was just spectacularly delicious. The duck was crispy, flavored. The soup can feed 4 people, was smooth, tasty. The restaurant is new, well decorated. This dessert was so interesting with coconut. Do not sleep on this restaurant.
google avatar

Daryl B.

Yelp
Shiu mai was lacking something, not sure what, it just needed a deeper flavor. Duck fried rice was ok, i had them remove peas n carrots and add onions, it was a bit over oiled, but tasty.
google avatar

Kimberly M.

Yelp
We tried it. It looks like a Chinese restaurant that you find in China, but unfortunately, the food has no taste and I've had better food in Shanghai and Beijing and other places like China Inn here locally in San Antonio and other places here in San Antonio. Basic things like a teriyaki chicken the way that they prepared it was rubbery and didn't taste like fresh chicken the rice it's not even the type of rice that you use and it had no flavor to it. the fried rice it just looks like it had been soaked in something but it was not tasty as their name states.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
Tasty Modern Asian Kitchen has really stepped up its game with their dim sum menu! If you're a fan of dim sum/need your fix, this place is definitely worth a suit. The shrimp dumplings, pork buns, and so mai were some notable dishes - bursting with flavor in every bite. The dim sum here is perfect for sharing with friends or family, making it a great option for a relaxed lunch or dinner. You're in San Antonio.. if you have the dim sum expectations from Dallas or Houston... lower them. It is not the most mind blowing place for dim sum, but it definitely satisfies the craving. If you're a dim sum lover or just looking to try something different, Tasty's dim sum menu is worth checking out.

Sara M.

Yelp
Place looks amazing. Beautiful decor and huge space. Service was above standard. Our waitress, Christy, went out of her way to serve us and did a spectacular job. The food as good, but it didn't catch up to our favorite spot. Portions were on the smaller side, but it was the lunch menu. Their chili oil was amazing and I love how they serve the plates. Overall, worth the visit for us.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Went for lunch and it was gross. Everything was over done. The fried rice was cooked so long it was almost crunchy again. Got the lunch Lemon Chicken, way over fried. The soup dumplings were good. I was warned this place was not good, had to try it. Won't be back, Mencius is better.
google avatar

Yelp
This could have been a 5 star! This restaurant is new and still working on training staff. The staff are all very nice but still learning the menu. My waitress was very nice and handled my disappointment (no dim sum) very well. - 1 star The shrimp fried dumplings are fried shrimp Wong tongs. See photo -1 star The website does not say dim sum for lunch only. If you go to the online ordering, then it will not allow you to order dim sum after 3 PM. + 1 star The restaurant is set up very nicely! It looks great! Very clean. My chicken was good and the soup dumplings were just ok. I will be back this weekend to check out the dim sum and possibly update the rating.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere was amazing the restaurant is very clean and their menu is huge if you have trouble finding something you would like you are at the wrong place . The dim sum choices are some of the best. I ordered as much as I could but didn't make a dent in the dim sum choices and every thing that I did order I loved. The staff were so kind especially my waitress sunshine . She recommended the most amazing crispy shrimp balls . I will be going back to try their noodles and stir frys this place is so good a hidden gem for sure .

Yelp
New authentic cantonese style diner with lots of dimsum options and vegan vegetarian plates. Fast and amazing service, with attention to detail and considerate recommendations. The food tasted fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Not a single dish had concerns or reason to be sent back. Portion sizes were enough to share and even had leftovers for later in the day. If you want authentic cantonese diner vibes this is the place to go, highly underrated.

Kit K.

Yelp
Food was alright I've had better. The price is expensive and my server kaytelen something like that wasn't very nice she asked me why I didn't give her tip and whole time she only served us water everything was given by people in the back so I didn't want to give $$ to someone who only gave us party of 3 water! She then kept telling us what to order and what not to and we didn't even have a few mins to look over menu yet. The only good thing that came out of this was the fried rice. The duck and the fried gyoza was ok. Also wanna add my roommate gave her $5 tip but she wanted EACH of us to tip her. Everyone else was nice tho idk what was up with that one. I will never eat at this place again tho the taste don't match the prices:)

Yelp
My star review will be based on the taste of the food. We had the greatest service and I appreciated the level of attention they gave us. Especially since I constantly kept requesting ginger for my Xio Long Bao. We came to celebrate my son's birthday. We wanted to give this place a try since we love noodles and dumplings. We ordered mostly dim sum but did have 2 dishes off the regular menu. We started with the beef with flat noodles and the Sichuan boiled fish. The flavors were there but the fish they used in the boiled fish dish wasn't something you'd expect. Now for the dim sum: We had 2 orders of the Pork & Shrimp Xiu Mai - loved the size of these Xiu Mai. Very tasty and yummy. Chicken Feet with Bean Sauce - This is an acquired taste and many will think it's gross. However, I enjoyed it immensely. The tenderness and the flavor was pretty good. Steamed BBQ Pork Buns - this is both my husband's and son's favorite. They actually ordered it again. Shanghai Steamed Soup Dumpings (Xio Long Bao) - The soup was light but had flavor. I love this dim sum and was happy that it didn't suck. This is where I eat my ginger mixed with the black vinegar, crispy chili oil, soy sauce, and ginger. Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls - This was my favorite out of all of them. I could eat just this! Overall the food was good and very tasty. I would recommend if you're new to Dim Sum. A bit pricey, but the size made up for it. *** NOTE - this review is based on my own tastes. Not all taste buds are created equal.

Yelp
We were seated quickly and our server Jeremy E. Was outstanding. This was my nephew and I first time here. I asked for dim sum recommendations and it was a success. Food was terrific and tasty.

Yelp
Amazing Dim Sum! Wonderful food and service from Kaylin! This was our second visit and We will be back again soon!

Yelp
It was very pretty inside with lots of marble and the tables were nice. The waitress was sweet and helpful. Our egg drop soup came and it was kind of sweet because it had corn in it. It was good but unexpected in an egg drop. I ordered the garlic chicken because it said it came with veggies. The sauce was overly sweet like a syrup and the shredded veggies were ok but not as much as the menu made it seem. The diner at the table in front of me ordered the same plate and asked for them to take it back for the same reasons. I tried to leave as much sauce on the plate as possible. Everything else was good. My son really enjoyed his General Tao's plate. I tasted a piece and it was really good.

Yelp
We were excited to have a new Peking Duck choice in San Antonio. Unfortunately the quest continues. The Duck was okay. A little cold. A bit greasy. Not carved at the table. The worst part was no Hot Mustard. When asked, they brought out regular yellow mustard. Not even close. This was the day after their grand opening, so hopefully they will get it down. Service was spotty. The Chrysanthemum Tea was so full of flowers it would not pour from the teapot. We were excited to order Dim Sum but found that it is only an available before 3pm (not on sign or menu). On the bright side, it is clean and modern. The dry fried green beans were tasty. Lots of meat in there, so vegetarians beware. That's not on the menu either. Hoping that they get it together. Getting some Hot Mustard is a great place to start.

Yelp
We order the Beijing Rosted duck! 10 out of 10 soooo good! We also ordered the Crispy fried Flounder sooooooo good I didn't even get a picture . Worth trying! The staff was absolutely wonderful quick service. But we did go on a day that there wasn't a lot of people. Super clean. Loved it!!!!

Yelp
I've been here before a few times, mostly for the Peking duck (oh wow is it amazing with crispy skin and soft bao buns) but we came back for dinner and were so happy to hear that they extended their entire dim sum menu to the entire time they're open - YES! We tried the crispy shrimp balls, the soup dumplings, the turnip bites, duck and scallion egg rolls, pineapple lava cake, and a few others and wow everything was so good. But the highlight of our dinner was the low key comedy and kindness provided by our waitress Sunshine. She was hilarious yet also super on top of everything, even for our huge order. Thank you!! We'll come back again just to sit in her section!

Yelp
A lot of customers need to understand that when reviewing an establishment (especially a newly opened one), you have to consider the fact that it will be rough on the first couple of weeks. But our visit today was amazing. IMO these are the ratings Service: 4.7/5 Food: 4.0/5 Ambiance: 5.0/5 Total: 4.56/5 Definitely coming back because that sweet & sour pork gave me a nostalgic moment when i tasted it.

Yelp
Nice restaurant! Food was delicious, ate fried flounder, scallion pancakes, and salt and pepper pork chops. Not quite the same as Hawaii but good for San Antonio. Also got a pot of hot tea instead of just a cup. Just need to get real hot mustard... the packet one was gross.

Yelp
Food was good! We are happy to have an accessible dim sum place in San Antonio. We loved the eggplant and the bean curd. Our only disappointment is that they don't have radish cakes which are a dim sum staple. Otherwise, service was great and food was better than others we've had in the area.

Yelp
Disclaimer: this review is on my take-out order. I ordered the Yang Chow Fried Rice, Cantonese Roast Duck, and Pork/Shrimp Fried Dumpling. The rice was delicious and duck was juicy with perfectly fatty skin (my favorite). The fried dumpling was a little bit greasy but I didn't mind much; nothing that a little dab on a napkin can't take care of. Also, the pick-up was seamless and the host was very friendly! Overall, I really enjoyed my first time he and I'm excited to come back to try the dine in experience!

Yelp
Food was available near Father's Day. They fulfilled my dad's request for Peking duck. Service is quick and friendly. No wait in line. Ambiance has nice and cool atmosphere. It does not feel crowded when I was there.

Yelp
Love that they opened a place like this in San Antonio. It's a beautiful place with really good food. We ordered mostly dim sum, Chinese broccoli, fried rice, lobster with ginger scallion sauce and crispy pork belly. Loved the flavors but, the lobster was a little hard to get the meat out of the shell. Dim sum was on point the broccoli was very tender and crispy and the fried rice had amazing taste with lots of shrimp and bits of pork. Service was very attentive and friendly. There was even a comedian among the employees ( maybe the manager).

Yelp
We go on weekly adventures to find new places to eat and stumbled upon Tasty. A manager told us they had been open for only "2 weeks and 2 days". It is very nice and clean inside of the restaurant. We ordered Pork and Shrimp Xiu Mai, Beef Noodle Roll (Look Fun) and a half duck. The food is delicious. But we had the worst waiter I have ever had. We had to ask for napkins four times until he gave us some. We asked for refills on our drinks three times until he did it. If it weren't for the manager who helped when the waiter was doing who knows what, it would have been the first time I ever left no tip. Cautiously we will return and if I see the same waiter, I will ask for another one.

Yelp
Was excited to try a new dim sum place in San Antonio but left kind of disappointed and do not think we'll be back. We got here right when they opened so there as no wait line. But quickly I learned that there is no cart service for dim sum. Only the options on the menus are offered. This was big disappointment for me. To me, the cart service is something that keeps dim sum lively and fun. You also get more surprise variety with cart service. Food wise the flavors were decent. We had a lot of food - shrimp dumplings, shumai, BBQ pastry, BBQ bun, Soup dumplings, custard bun, crispy pork belly, etc. the only thing I would say is I do wish the pork belly is a tiny bit thinner. Can get a little chewy with thick slices. I also wish there were rice or noodle as a dim sum dish so I don't have to order a giant entree only for my kid that won't eat dim sum stuff. What really frustrated me was the delay in food service between the intervals. I made a mistake of ordering more food while we were still indulging the first round of food (when we were not full yet). And there was a long delay between rounds of food service. So we were already full before the new food showed up (but already ordered) I feel if there was cart service, I would not have wasted money. When I asked if we can cancel the extra item, I was told they were already made. So I basically had to wait for food to show up, then put directly into a to go box at my desk. Some of the items took another 15 minutes to show up AFTER they told me it was already made. It does not take 15 minutes to make a lo-mein. So this makes me feel suspicious of the integrity of being honest on the timing. All in all, I think I may go back to Golden Wok next time I want dim sum.

Yelp
The service and food was just amazing. So glad we tried it. Our new go to place for Dim Sum and all the other items on the menu. The ambiance was so nice and beautiful and I felt so happy. I am looking forward to our next meal. If you are in the area it is a must try. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Tried out this new place for lunch with wife and impressed by waiter Adrian and service. Dim sum was good and plentiful. Went back next day with daughter and family. Ordered other items like duck, seafood noodles and spare ribs. Everything was good. Will return and hope they stay with all the new competition.

Yelp
I was looking forward to having soup dumplings. I'd inly had them once before in Southern California and unfortunately these were no way near as good. The ones here were a bit dry on the outside. The dumpling was chewy in comparison to what I'd had before elsewhere. The lo-mein was not so bad but seemed oily.

Yelp
Went because of a recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised at how authentic their Peking duck was, highly highly recommend, go now before their grand opening next month, they serve dim sum during lunch hours. It can be pricey but worth it. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced tho. Ask for Jeremy! Clean and spacious, friendly & attentive staff. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
