Tasty Pot

I have been to Tasty Pot in different states before, as they are part of a chain. It was my very first time dining here. Everyone in our party had a hot pot. We tried a curry flavor hot soup with glass noodle, cheesy milk hot soup with glass noodle and Thai flavor hot soup with glass noodle. They were all excellent. Just be careful when eating because the contents get extremely hot. I was surprised how tasty the cheesy milk stock was. I think I will try the tomato version next time.

Nice place to have a sit down meal. Great service, fresh hot food! However I would say comparing my sizzling beef bowl to Pepper Lunch, this place is not quite as good, and def more pricey. Still a good meal though.

Dined in on Valentine's night with family. They need more wait staff. Service score would be lower if they were out right rude to us but they just kept forgetting about our table for 20 minutes at a time. Understandably it was a very busy night for them too but it was getting ridiculous. Food was pretty good. Portions were large. Surprisingly the hot pots are single serving, instead of family style how I'm used to, but even that I felt was too much for one person. Would be a decent date night strat to just get a hot pot to share between you two and get several addons for about 30 bucks altogether. Especially liked their appetizers like the Har Gao and the takoyaki.

Who doesn't love hot pot? We do make hot pot at home, but when we're too busy, or not in the mood to cook, we hit Tasty Pot. There are many options on the menu and you can set your own spice level. We have eaten here many times and have tried various options and the food is excellent each time. Very consistent. Very fresh, and very tasty! The staff is helpful and speedy, and parking is ample. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of seating whenever we visit. We are so lucky to have this place right in our back yard.

Short and sweet. The food I ordered here was absolutely delicious. I cannot say anything bad about it. This is my first time eating here. It is in a strip mall. The restaurant is incredible clean and organized. It is bright and welcoming. The big screen TV was playing Obviously Taiwan programing. The restaurant was full of patrons of multi ethnic backgrounds and heavily ethnic Asian Backgrounds. The menu was presented in both a visual as well as English and Chinese format. It was tough to choose because frankly the entire menu sounded delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful and directed me to the newest creation on the menu “Sweet Garlic Soy Sizzling Beef”. It came out from the kitchen so quickly and sizzling hot. The meat was uncooked and I was instructed to stir it to finish the process. Shortly it was done. There were various sauces available including those that would make your whole head burn 🔥. But I wasn’t ready for that yet. It was seasoned beautifully. I must have been hungry. I was a happy customer. The food I observed coming out for the other customers looked equally delicious, hot and fresh. This is not a dress up restaurant. But a great everyday treat to go back to over and over. They have tea drinks and good looking appetizers. I saw quite a few orders going out the door as well. And this was at about 1:30 in the afternoon.

I ordered Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup and Beef Chow Fun. They are all the best! Also, the service is great! For sure, I will come back again. ——————- Did come back again! This time, I ordered the lamb hot soup, beef chow fun, and popcorn chicken. They are all very delicious!

Good food. 2 people can share a hot pot easily. Was able to split one for 3 people, had 2 extra order of meat with it. Popcorn chicken was good, I felt like it could use more seasoning though Calamari was decent Shu mai, don't think it was worth it The extra tendon that I got, some said it was too tough and chewy chewy Service was good

Place was clean and inviting. No line on a Thursday evening- we were seated quickly. The food arrived within 10 minutes of us ordering. Will visit again. Try curry hot pot or Sichuan hot pot!

My partner and I like going to tasty pot because it allows us to pick our own soup base. I will say although it's typically one person per pot, it can easily feed 2 with a couple sides. This is the closest hotpot to us and always satisfies my craving if I don't want to go into Portland or make it at home. My partner ordered their sizzling beef once and now it's been a staple! Their stir fry options always look and smell good when coming out of the kitchen so it might have to be a goal of ours to try a couple more vs getting soup every time. I can't remember if the other location has this additional menu, but I don't feel confident that they do. I've had a variety of their drinks and they have not disappointed-- this location and Beaverton. I typically get a passion fruit green tea with jelly. The service is always quick and efficient. Parking is shared as it's in a plaza but I've never had an issue finding parking. Not amazing but enough to satisfy and bring us back!

Stopped in for dinner for the first time and was really pleased! Overall service was quick and pleasant. Nice large tables as well, plenty of space. I ordered the wonton noodle soup and it was really refreshing. Also a large portion! Plenty to take home for a second meal. I also got a side of kimchi which wasn't spicy but nice and crisp. They have a lot more on the menu I would love to try and they have bubble teas which are also on my list to try! Will most definitely be back!

This is my first time visiting this restaurant. Big open space. Lots of tables available. Big communal table in the middle. They sell bubble teas and green teas. Various types of tea available. We all ordered three different types of hot pot. Stinky tofu, Kimchi and Seafood Combo. Service was fast and attentive. They gave us water and silverware as soon as we had sat down. You can add rice or vermicelli to your hot pot. The seafood combo came with lots of different kinds of seafood. Lobster tails, clams, shrimp and others . The broth was delicious and flavorful. Very yummy. I will definitely try this restaurant again. It has other Chinese food also. Chow fun, Singapore noodles and chow mein. Variety of different other side dishes.

I love this food and the concept. Super flavorful and a big portion for less than $20. Meaty, rich and tons of veggies, tofu, seafood and noodles. Also, the Takoyaki is excellent, but the wontons (in chili), had a bit of an off flavor for me, but I'm sure it's me and that's what they are supposed to be. Place is super clean, modern and I love that they have a flame under your pot to keep it bubbling, so you don't miss the experience of sitting around and watching it.

I had been craving hot pot for a very long time. This place was perfect! I got my curry hot pot with a side of milk to add to it. My absolute favorite. We got fried rice and dumplings for the kids. Also got passion fruit green tea and a Hokkaido milk tes with boba. Both were perfect. We will be back!

Gluten free review: There weren't a lot of options for gluten free but what we got was pretty good. Our mouth was Strangely tingly after eating it. It was flavorful but a bit dry because there's no sauce. I would love to go back if they ever end up with more gluten free. I would say that if you are in the area to still go in and try it!

My sister and I stumbled upon this place while we were running errands and starving. It was so good that a few weeks later we took more family out to taste more dishes. Over the two experiences we tried a lot of dishes to share with the table. It was so incredible. So happy we found this spot. Very nice service, fast food delivery and hot. However, the amount of meat in everything was very small. The taste wasn't bad, but it was impressionable either.

Hot pot authentic Taiwanese with lots to choose from. The wide variety includes a lot of different soups and street food appetizers. Careful because it's easy to get out of hand by ordering too much. It's not a cook your own bowl though, which becomes an issue if you like medium or medium rare and my lamb was delivered cooked well done. But overall the soup is hearty and flavorful with lots of yummy bites. We also ordered fish balls, fried tofu and other appetizers. They also offer some basic boba and smoothie drinks. That's all.

My Vancouver staple! I've been here countless times and the service is always quick, servers are attentive, and dishes are consistently good. The hot pots are well-sized and easily shareable between two people. The broths are aromatic and flavorful. The variety of toppings with each bowl is a plus. The meats are fresh. I've had multiple different hot pots from here but my favorite is the Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup. It's a perfect blend of meats, seafood, and veggies. I could go on and on but let's just say this is one of the better Asian restaurants in Vancouver. Their popcorn chicken and pumpkin cake also have my stamp of approval, although the pumpkin cake can be a lil greasy if that's not your thing. Pros: + They have a good selection of boba drinks + If you order specific pots during lunch time you'll get a choice of black or green milk tea included with your meal + The complex has a large parking lot which makes parking a breeze

Bland. So so very bland. To be fair we didn't do the hot pot, but we got Szechuan beef chow mein, beef chow fun, xiao long bao, and the spicy won tons. Everything was bland and forgettable. Service was fine, restaurant was clean.

Taiwanese style hot pot joint in Vancouver serving up some pretty delicious offerings in a low-key, fun atmosphere. Pretty straightforward menu--choose from a selection of hot pots and modify to your palate by specifying spiciness and various optional add-ons. I ordered the curry pot (mild), no mods. The broth started thin but got better the longer the pot heated. Service was fine. Look forward to trying some other of their offerings. (4.25 stars).

I'm new to the Vancouver area and was really happy to find an Asian hotpot place near me. I like where the restaurant location is at in fishers landing near new seasons. I went with my husband the staff was attentive and helped us get our seat. I ordered the Japanese miso hot pot which came on a cool bowl with a small heat below to keep my food warm. I also loved how much seafood is in this hot pot dish. Easily could be shared with two ppl if you wanted to but I felt the portions were enough and yummy. My husband got a steak and garlic rice on their hot plates. It was nice presentation and the flavor was good. I would like to come back and try their boba drinks next time.

Got kung pow bowl and a beef chow main bowl... this place is super chinsy on the MEAT i was afraid to ask for more as when i asked for extra peanuts they wanted to up charge me $2.00 the asian server acted like she was inconvenienced with us she was very unfriendly. The food tasted ok and seemed freash but hardly any chicken or beef a whole bowl of veggies and skimped on protein. We probably wont return unless things change. Good luck.

Tasty Pot is the same restaurant as Taste of Asia. The food was good. 4 out of 5 stars. Our favorite was the bao (steamed pork buns ~ dim sum). My second favorite was the green beans and garlic dish. Cooked perfectly. Crisp-tender. Third, we liked the beef fried rice. Fourth, we liked the Singapore noodles with chicken. I added the hot chili pepper oil for more of a kick, to the noodles. The place was very busy and noisy. Kid-friendly and family friendly. The service was prompt. We would go there again. I will probably order the bao again. And won ton noodle soup. I've had that before. Yummy. If you're looking for a romantic ambiance, this is not the place. But if you like lively conversation and interaction, and good food, you'll like this place. We didn't order the hot pot selections, because we prefer traditional Asian food. I don't like to have to cook my food. It reminded me of some Korean restaurants where you have to cook your own food. If you're into that, then you'll enjoy the hot pot selections. Many around us ordered from the hot pot menu. We ordered from their regular menu. We did have enough to take home. It will make a good lunch for tomorrow. To have 5 stars, I would say that the Singapore noodles should taste more flavorful. And I wish they offered pork fried rice. I know we all have unique taste buds, so try it yourself. Prices are reasonable overall. Although I do think that for what you get, the green beans with garlic was a bit pricey. Next time I'll try the broccoli with oyster sauce, and the sweet & sour spareribs. Enjoy Asian food at Taste of Asia and Tasty Pot!

Place is clean, staff is super helpful and friendly and food was delicious. I really like how this tasty pot has another restaurant inside as well and offer more than just the hot pots like the other chains. The beef hot pot tasted pretty standard. The popcorn chicken and beef chow mein were delicious. It's definitely a family friendly restaurant with lots of room in between the tables. Plenty of parking in this plaza. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area. It's in a pretty busy and newer area of Vancouver so there's quite a bit going on.

Tasty Pot is so fun! I love the presentation of the hot pot and since I'm a slow eater it helps keep my food nice and hot! I was surprised by the beef tomato soup which reminded me of a pot roast! Really comforting for these rainy days. Sometimes we come here just for the milk tea, the tapioca pearls themselves aren't always great but the tea is!

Despite working at a Taiwanese based company for two decades, I haven't had much exposure to Taiwanese cuisine. Either that, or I haven't been aware of the subtle attributes that differentiate a Taiwanese dish from its Chinese counterpart. That said, my co-workers have all raved about Tasty Pot, declaring it to be distinctly Taiwanese in form and function, and thus it was my assignment...nay, my *duty*, to discover what makes this hotpot so special. And, oh boy, it's something else! There's a lot to unpack on the menu, at first glance, but if you're going with one of the hotpots, it's easy as 1-2-3: 1) Choose your hotpot 2) Choose your side (rice or vermicelli noodles) 3) Choose your spice level Price and size are already factored in; each column becomes slightly larger, and/or more expensive, as you move further right. Everything else is perfunctory: appetizer? extra side of beef tendon? a matcha or boba tea? Tack it on! We added a side of spicy pork dumplings, which were wonderful - especially when paired with the garlic soy and spicy chili sauces found tableside! Within a few minutes, a piping hot bowl of something good will arrive in front of you, perennially-heated by a small gas stove underneath, that will keep your dish at a mouth-blistering temperature the entire time (particularly true the deeper you delve into the bowl!). Be prepared! I went with the Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup, while my wife ordered the Beef Hot Soup; a surprising choice for her, as I'd expected to see her hovering over a pot practically overflowing with seafood carnage! Regardless, the list of ingredients on any hotpot should be carefully inspected, as while there are some things that seem ubiquitous across all of the options, there are others that are unique to each dish. You can expect tofu and various little mushrooms in basically all of them, while some of the more...exotic components (pork aorta, for example, as well as other difficult-to-identify-without-a-legend ingredients) only appear in certain selections. Even for the squeamish, there's enough good stuff in each bowl that you're pretty much guaranteed to enjoy your meal, even if you may have to pick around a few things. Service was...serviceable; nothing particularly stand out on that front, but hey, it's more of a fast-casual dining experience, anyway - don't expect a host stand at the front. But the real question has, as of yet, been unanswered: what's my take-away from my first conscious experience with Taiwanese cuisine? Well, there was no take-away: we both emptied our bowls completely. If you ask me, that's the best compliment you can give.

I went in on a cold day after the ice had thawed to get something hot. I had been in here previously when it was Taste of Asia (I think that was the old name) but hadn't been back in a long time. I was sat really quickly and ordered the stinky Tofu hot pot. The server was really friendly and explained their spicy rating scale (it's different everywhere, some places spicy is mid, other places actually are spicy) and ordered it very spicy. It arrived about ten minutes later, very fresh and hot. The soup was incredibly flavorful, packed with ingredients, and they didn't skimp on the good stuff. The wait staff occasionally came by asking if I wanted more broth or noodles for the soup, but it was plenty on its own. It's not everyday you can get stinky tofu locally, and this was really good. Definitely will be back!

I was in the neighborhood, and noodles for dinner sounded great, so we decided to stop here. This location used to be called, "Taste of Asia and Tea", and I was a bit alarmed that it appeared to have been a different restaurant, but we decided to give it a go anyway. The interior is EXACTLY the same as the old place, and I was very excited when the waitress brought us two menus: one with the hot pot offerings, and one from Taste of Asia and Tea!!!! This is the same great place as it used to be, but now with additional hot pot options if you want them. The restaurant is meticulously clean, modern, spacious, and inviting. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Service is VERY prompt. The food, without exception, is OUTSTANDING, just like it used to be. Flavors are deep and complex, variety is wide, and you really can't go wrong with anything. One real surprise was the pumpkin pancakes. They had whole slices of real pumpkin, and red bean paste as fillings. I didn't expect them to be anything noteworthy, but they were fantastic. I opted for pork in garlic sauce over noodles. This included some sort of mushrooms whose name I'm not sure of, but everything combined to make a dish that was far more than the sum of its parts. The Kung Pao chicken noodles were equally outstanding. I'm really looking forward to going back so we can get some of our old favorites, and to try some of their hot pot offerings.

I will never get tired of coming here. I love their hotpot especially the Thai flavor soup. This place is busy on weekends. Our food came out longer than expected but it's worth the wait. Vibe was casual and relaxed. The place was clean and organized. Plenty of parking even on weekends. The menu was vegetarian friendly. I recommend this place if you love soup with variety of flavors to choose from.

Found this place while traveling to Oregon. Wait isn't this restaurant located in Vancouver, Washington? Yup! Just a short drive from the Cascade Station area where we were staying near PDX Airport. Located on the corner in a small shopping area with ample parking. Got here around 6:00 pm and was greeted for dine in. The decor is modern with different seating options: clustered tables and rows. The menu offers many choices from the hot pot where you pick your flavors and options to place into your broth to traditional preset meals. All of the choices looked very delicious. Opted for the won ton hot soup meal and it was tasty. Garnished with vegetables and lots of won ton. We ordered soup dumplings along with our meal as well. Fair is fair come check this place out. Portions were robust and the service was friendly and efficient. They have a variety of boba type drinks as well so give it a try and see what you like.

We walked in here. It was a very clean facility. I made a little into the bathroom. And the bathroom is the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen under the restaurant in Washington. We ordered a hot pot. We ordered the wonton soup. We ordered scallion pancakes, and spring rolls and steamed bao. Everything was delicious. It was a very large serving. I couldn't even eat at all and they gave us bowls to put in to take home. I would definitely come here again.

This is our go to for hot pot soup in recent months. I also always order the chicken popcorn. It would be better if it had more fat but lean is all good. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always served quickly. What keeps us coming back is that there is no charge for the extra soup that gets put in the pot if you still have Veggies and Meat in the hot pot. As long as they keep doing that, we will keep coming back. Great place. Give it a try.

Overall its a nice spot, and they have boba drinks too.. Their food was pretty good as well, easy to understand and choose from their menu.. The Sichuan Spicy Pork Wonton could have been more spicier, it didn't have much spice.. But the Hotpot which we ordered was good, felt like a different flavour that we've not tasted before, definitely can try. We could also select the spice level for the hotpot!!

Soup was big in portions. Milk tea I would not recommend because it tasted very artificial. Appetizers were ok, fried doughnuts were a good way to finish everything off. Service was mediocre, non attentive as our water cups were empty for a long period of time. We were very patient but felt like when servicing us we were being rushed.

Randomly came across this restaurant and decided to swing by since it has been raining all day. Need a hot soup. The service was impeccable. The ambiance is great and spacious. Recommend for family dinners or even date night on a rainy day.

All the food was really good! I really enjoyed the hot beef soup it had a lot of good flavor! The restaurant is very open and bright, lots of different seating. Out server was very nice and brought us out everything we needed! Will definitely be coming back.

This location is better than the Beaverton location. First, they don't have certain hours where they close. They're open for the hours they post and don't close in the middle of the day. A small plus is that they bring out your rice with the food, so your rice doesn't get cold and hard compared to Beaverton. The usual go to is the Taiwanese or Beef. Both come with a ton of food and will get you full. The service was really welcoming and attentive. The restaurant itself looks clean and spacious with tons of seating that usually fills up on the weekends.

From my impressions, this store used to be Taste of Asia and Tea, and is under transition to becoming Tasty Pot, a hot pot-focus. I checked it out with a friend and was surprised by the generous meat, vegetables, and other toppings in our meals. We had so much leftover. Service was a bit slow, but I think they were a bit understaffed as well. I would come back here for more, and I'm glad there is a dedicated hot pot spot in Vancouver!

I love this restaurant, especially their Taiwan Beef noodle, my favorite! I also like the environment, clean and neat. The service is vey attentive and friendly. I had good experiences every time when I was there. Surely recommend it!

This restaurant literally saved my life( ok I'm being a little dramatic) I have been suffering with RSV for a week and my husband was in the area running errands and saw they had an aromatic health pot, so he brought me home a huge bowl. And not only did it wake up my senses with the spice and flavor it helped my sickness clear faster. It definitely feels like heaven in a bowl when you're feeling down. Can't wait to come in for a sit down dinner in the future. Great broths filled with many delicious vegetables cooked in the broth absorbing all the flavor. Amazing

This is another one of my favorite spots for noodle soup - now they are partnering with Tasty Pot, there are so many options! The food is consistently good and the flavors are very similar to the Tasty Pot in California. I have a few fav hotpots that I like, as well as our staple noodle (Lanzhou noodle) if we don't want to do hotpot. If you have a hotpot for lunch, you get a free drink too! Not sure why there were bad reviews for service, they've always been super friendly. But I also speak Chinese so they are consistently good with their customer service.

I am so glad we finally have a place for hot pot in Vancouver now. I've been here twice now but have been to the Beaverton location in the past. Not a fan of their rice dishes, or the fried noodles dishes. They are all so bland. But we love their popcorn chicken. It's crunchy, , salty, and juicy. My favorite soup base is the Thai one. I think it's #8 on the menu. The hot pot comes loaded with lots of thinly sliced pork, 2 different kinds of meatballs, veggies and seafood. Very flavorful. My fiancé also likes their wonton soup. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the service is slow and both times we've been here, no one has checked on us or asked if we needed/wanted anything else. We will definitely continue to come back, and I am hoping the service will improve.

So the national chain restaurant "Tasty Pot" has merged with "Taste of Asia and Tea" in this particular location. It has two menus. I had the #1 Beef Hot Pot to go and here is how it scored: Broth - 3.5/5: actually not bad for a chain restaurant Ingredients 2.5/5: My oh my, what a bizarre combination of ingredients. Basically a hot mess from bean curd sticks to corn on the. cob. Hot Pot is a social thing with the novelty of cooking your own food like Korean BBQ or Shabu Shabu, I get it. However, from an authenticity and taste perspective, the hot pot was not very good. Stick with the Taste of Asia and Tea menu.

I was beyond excited that Tasty Pot is coming to Vancouver! This is actually dangerous, having such an amazing spot in our neighborhood. We stopped here for dinner today, they have the Tasty Pot menu and the Taste of Asia menu as well. They start you off with a small fries as a free appetizer. Then we ordered a basil popcorn chicken which came super quick, it was crunchy and tasty. For $8, we got probably double the popcorn chicken I would expect to get. We both got Beef Hot Soups and it was delicious. There were probably like 8 pieces of beef and loads of veggies. My favorite was the vermicelli noodles. Passionfruit green tea was also perfect. Highly recommend this spot and we'll definitely be back!

The service, good and ambiance is good. I like it thất the food is not too salty, its just right. The servers were polite and efficient. Ambiance is also good casual and comfortable.

They were great before and are even better now. The Taiwan brisket soup and the beef chow fun are standouts.

Is it posible to give 6 stars? We have tried many different Asian restaurants in the area and, while many are decent, none have come close to Tasty Pot in my opinion. The food was top quality, well prepared and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. We tried a hot pot as well as an order of Beef Chow Fun and some dumplings as an appetizer. All three were amazing. Before I give a restaurant a full 5 stars I ask myself if anything could have been better...I cannot think of a single thing here that needs improvement. A VERY enthusiastic 5 stars!

YES. THANK YOU for opening up a legit hot pot place in Vancouver. After moving from Seattle during the pandemic, I constantly craved hot pot but had to travel a ways to get it. I was more than ecstatic when my friend shared this place had opened so close to home. From what I remember of other locations, this place tastes the same - delicious! They seem to have the same menu. It seems like the restaurant is much busier after they added Tasty Pot. During one visit, they were a bit understaffed, but that was one time and they made up for it by being exceptionally kind. This is a great spot to get good food with friends or family!

It's not a "hot pot" place, it's just a restaurant where sell Chinese dishes plus hot pot. I was expected to be a hot pot place. Anyway, their hot pot is decent.

My absolute favorite hot pot restaurant. They will even give you a free refill of broth if you need more. My favorite dish is the Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup. They do give more vegetables then meat so make sure to get some add one for extra but in my opinion it's a healthy and hearty meal.

Delicious!!! So glad we have hot pot in Vancouver. Fresh and unique ingredients. Fast, friendly. Authentic! Will be here for holiday meals which is a family tradition.

Xiao long nap for 8 dollars!!! Amazing and they have green onion pancake and spicy wonton dumplings, tbh this place is amazing. Must try.
