Oh yea! This was one of those spots that definetly serves good seafood. Not even mad at the price. .Came in with my family of 6 and our server was pretty cool and really attentive, i appreciate that! The atmosphere was hip and modern, very litty, which was a great combo with the delicious food. We got a couple appetetizers and they didnt dissapoint at all!! Then our crab boils came in with alot of flavor, heat and good sized quality seafood! I had the big boy and came with lobster, shrimp, ramen noodles, crab, corn, potatoes, sausage and a side of cajun beans and rice.. will be returning soon!

If you're looking for a fine dining experience, this is.... not it!  It's a family run bar with a really good food.  The music's loud,  it's hard to have a conversation unless your mouth inside of your dates ear, but once again ....the food is really-really good. It's served fast and the seasoning is just right.  Special compliments to Amanda, she had to deal with a very difficult customer(my elderly wife.). We ordered the shrimp and catfish, added a side of oysters, and a bowl of gumbo.  Everything was delicious!!!! However... It was way too loud in here. Eye contact with serving staff definitely, not a specialty here. The kids that are running the don't seem to care about the customers and the bathroom was dirty and in disrepair. For me , you have to be in the right mindset to come back and fully appreciate this restaurant. But I am reminded, it's really a bar that happens to have tasty food.

Google
Great food and would have been 5 stars but I do not agree with the price of the drinks!! 4.99 for all non-carbonated drinks and no refills?! No ma'am....I will pass next time and order water. Fresh shrimps and the turkey neck were chefs kiss 💋!!!

Google
Luis was very thorough and friendly, as it was my first time here he took the time out to explain the menu, and provided samples as needed. The food and atmosphere was great and inviting. I will be returning!

Google
This place has great cajun food at an affordable price. The service is awesome too. I found this place off a instagram post and me and my wife decided to go. We were Extremely pleased with the food and service. We will definitely be back!

Loved our first trip to Tasty Tails. We ordered the Calimari fries, meat pie, crawfish pie, shrimp/catfish platter and the Tasty Pick 3 boil combo. Calimari fries 3.9/5 - very big Calimari tentacles fried in panko and served with their house made tartar sauce. Very good starter Crawfish/meat pie 4/5 - both of these were LOADED with filling and made fresh to order. Gimme 50 to go. Shrimp/catfish platter 5/5 - this was excellent! Huge catfish and butterflied shrimp fried to perfection. We got these with hush puppies and rémoulade sauce. Pick 3 (shrimp, crawfish, mussels) 4/5 - still early in the crawfish season, so I expected them to be on the smaller side and the price to be a little higher. But the sauce was flavorful and everything was fresh. Hit the spot for sure.

I found this place from TikTok and I’m honestly soooo disappointed. Food was not good at all, i ordered the Winston and added lb of shrimp with the *Who Dat Sauce* the sauce was very nasty and did not taste Cajun or New Orleans style at all. The seafood was VERY overcooked and old, the shrimp was mushy and the crab was old you could tell. I thought I was tripping until I seen another person send there food back for the same reason lol. Not good at all and does not give New Orleans at all!!!! We also ordered the chargrilled oysters and they were actually good, 6/10. I would not recommend this place for a good boil at all..

Google
I ordered 1lbs of boiled crawfish and 1lbs of muscles and it was good. The service was decent and the atmosphere is OK! Would recommend to try once.

Yelp
After hearing rave reviews from colleagues, I finally had a chance to visit Tasty Tails, and I'm glad I did! Although the crawfish boil was out of season, we were excited to explore the menu, especially since it was happy hour. French Quarter Fries: Flavorful but a bit on the salty side. The seasoning is tasty, but it might be a bit much for some. Traditional Charbroiled Oysters: These were decent and met expectations but didn't stand out. Jambalaya Eggrolls: These were surprisingly good. Some reviews mentioned they lacked flavor, but I think that's just the nature of jambalaya. The accompanying sauce was a great touch! Walk It Like a Dog (Gator Dog): It was okay--couldn't really discern the gator flavor. It's a solid hot dog but nothing extraordinary. NOLA Pasta: This was off the happy hour menu but a real highlight. Rich and flavorful, it was definitely a standout. The ambiance was authentically Cajun, with vibrant decor that brought a touch of Louisiana to the place. The service was excellent--Vietnamese-owned with a Cajun twist, and the staff-the three girls that helped us were all very attentive, helpful, and kind! Especially the blonde with piercings, was incredibly friendly and helpful-thanks to her we got to try the jambalaya egg rolls which we actually had initially passed on. Overall, Tasty Tails offers a great experience, particularly during happy hour. Even outside of those hours, it's worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Yelp
On the bright side, I love the environment here! When you enter, you're greeted by a beautiful, colorful mural of all things New Orleans. There are beads dangling from the ceiling, and lots of other small decor that recreates that comforting feeling of New Orleans that everyone loves. The music is lively. They play both old and new school R&B, which I love! I sang along to every song while I waited for my food. The staff was also kind. Our food didn't take long to come out either. On the contrary, this place has a hit or miss menu. I think the key is to know what to get from here and stick to it. We ordered the crawfish (NOLA style), which is your traditional boiled crawfish and it was good! There is a slight spice, but it isn't overwhelming (I would like it spicier, but all Nola style crawfish is cooked the same way and spice level). I would've loved to taste the flavor a litttttttle bit more if they left the crawfish juice in the bag (they drain the juice and bring the crawfish to you dry), but they were nice enough to bring us some on the side. Unfortunately, by the time we got the juice, all the crawfish had been eaten. It looked good though! I will try next time. We were offered their house sauce to eat our crawfish with and it was not good. I'm not sure what flavor that was, it almost tasted like an oddly spicy barbecue sauce and there's an aftertaste I can't put my finger on?? My family didn't enjoy it. You have the choice to get your crawfish with that sauce or without. I would opt out and maybe ask for some butter and seasoning on the side. They have Tony Chacheres in the kitchen so that's a great sign!! I think this will be my new go to spot when I'm craving crawfish! I've also had the fried fish and shrimp with fries. It was okay. I ordered catfish but it tasted more like tilapia. The shrimp and fries were nothing to write home about, but they were all edible. I just wish they were more hot and fresh when I had them. The crawfish pasta I didn't like at all. The sauce separates and is salty but doesn't have an actual flavor it seems. I do love the rotini noodles though! Like I said, find what you like here and stick to it. I have a few more items on the menu I'd like to try like the crawfish empanadas and the beignets, so I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
My first time trying this establishment, I was completely disappointed. The only menu item that made me consider coming back was the wings. Last Sunday, I happened to be in the area, craving good wings and a spot to watch the Eagles game, so I decided to give this place another chance. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a big mistake. The wings didn't have the same flavor as my previous visit. I'm not sure if they changed the lemon pepper seasoning, but they lacked the satisfying taste I remembered. To make matters worse, the rice in the red beans and rice dish was overcooked and gummy. For one alcoholic beverage, five wings, and a cup of red beans and rice, my total came to over $29. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Yelp
We chose this spot based of Social media reviews. It is rather loud not a place for an intimate date. It wasn't the most clean, had a funny smell.. The drinks were bomb!! We had the ghost punch. The food was ok, left much to be desired. We had the crawfish beignets that didn't have much crawfish in them and was really saucy. The cajun fries had a lot of flavor and were a little over powering.. The charbroiled oysters very good.. But the oysters were super small.

Anjelica N.

Yelp
I love coming to tasty tails, the vibes are great as soon as you walk in and their food doesn't disappoint! Everything we ordered was made fresh and it was delicious! The service was also great, everyone was so lively and friendly. They also have really great weekly deals and happy hour specials so I would definitely be back for more!

Crystal L.

Yelp
Charbroiled oysters, jambalaya egg rolls , and hush puppies are great value for Wednesday happy hour special. The oyster are so tasty and juicy. I will go back to check out shrimp and fresh crawfish.

Jacobe M.

Yelp
Good ol T. T. Went in just for some turkey necks, eggs and sausage. Inexpensive and convenient. Quick service and also friendly. First time at this particular location but it didn't miss a beat to any of the other locations from the past.

Yelp
Dallas!!! If you haven't been here for happy hour, you are missing out! Mon - Fri from 4pm-7pm, you can get some New Orleans goodness for some great prices! Outside of the drink specials which range from $3 to $9.50, look at these food options: $2 Charbroiled Oysters $2.99 Hush puppies Calamari fries Fries $4.99 1/2 lb boiled shrimp Jambalaya egg rolls 5 Wings $6.99 Gator dog French Quarter Fries Chicken poboy I wish I had 3 stomachs bc I would've eaten EVERYTHING! Everything I had was good and I was really shocked by the jambalaya egg rolls - so good! The French quarter fries are a beast on their own - there is so much goodness all over them fries and you can almost have those as a meal by themselves! It's very busy during happy hour so expect a little wait or try and grab a seat by the bar but it's worth it! Go check them out and tell em that Bri from Planes and Plates sent you!

Temika M.

Yelp
Daiquiris were Good!!! The service was VERY UNORGANIZED!! I waited 30+ mins for 3lbs of crawfish to go, however they were really good! They were so good that I went home and ordered another 5lbs online! They were supposed to be ready for pickup at 8:07 (the time I arrived), didn't get them until 8:50pm! If the service matched the ambiance, this place could easily be a 5 star! I do recommend, but be prepared for the wait!

Yelp
Monday Highlight: My Spouse had a craving for fried chicken, so we decided to try their Monday Special: $0.75 Cajun Wings available from 4-7pm. It was an incredible deal! This will definitely become a post-work tradition for us on Mondays. Additionally, we indulged in 8 Charbroiled Oysters ($2 per oyster with a minimum order of 6). While the Calamari Fries were satisfactory, resembling frozen fish sticks in strip form, they were nonetheless fresh. This establishment is an excellent choice for celebrating Mardi Gras. The staff were all exceptionally courteous and collaborative, enhancing our overall experience.

Yelp
**Tasty Tails Review: A Taste of New Orleans Right Here!** Oh, how I long for that classic Po' Boy sandwich! Tasty Tails brought a little slice of home to my plate, and I couldn't be more grateful. The atmosphere? Think lively sports bar vibes with self-seating and attentive table service that makes you feel right at ease. The background music set the perfect tone--just loud enough to enjoy without drowning out conversation. Now, let's dive into the food! We kicked things off with a couple of 6" Po' Boy sandwiches and crispy French fries from the lunch menu, plus a generous 12" Oyster Po' Boy from the regular menu. The shrimp? Absolutely fried to perfection! I opted for my oysters to be flash-fried, and they nailed it! These Po' Boys were served on authentic New Orleans French bread, "dressed" just like back home--with fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crunchy pickles, and a spread of luscious mayonnaise. I couldn't resist adding a drizzle of remoulade sauce to my oyster Po' Boy for that extra kick. Each bite was a delightful trip down memory lane! Now, here's where I hit a small snag: the portion sizes of the seafood. My 12" oyster Po' Boy had only five oysters--come on, a sandwich that size deserves at least 10-12! And the shrimp? Ideally, I'd like to see 8-10 plump shrimp nestled in there. While the Po' Boys were beautifully prepared, I found myself needing to remove some of the bread and toppings to truly savor the seafood. Overall, Tasty Tails has captured the essence of a New Orleans Po' Boy, and the flavors are spot on. Just a few tweaks on portion sizes, and they'll be golden! I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit. Until then, happy dining!

Yelp
The staff are extremely friendly and was happy to answer all of our questions and request for recommendations. We ordered the Crawfish and Crab Beignets. You wouldn't think a savory beignets works, but it was delicious! The filling is seasoned well with nice chunks of crab and crawfish and top with a Cajun sauce that rounds out the dish with a hint of spice. We also ordered the Pina Colada Daiquiri. The flavor is decent, but it was frosted perfectly, so it was very refreshing especially in this Texas heat. Additionally, we ordered the Chicken Wings with "Who Dat Sauce", NOLA Pasta, Oyster Po'Boy, Catfish and Shrimp Basket and Soft Shell Crab Basket. Every dish is delivered to the table right when it's done cooking. So everything is fresh and hot, but the down side is there is a little wait for everyone to get their dish (in case you like waiting for all the dishes before diving in). Overall, we like all our dishes and the prices are reasonable for a seafood boil spot. We will definitely be back to try their Peel & Eat options. Side note: A few reviews mentioned a sewage smell. We noticed a strong cleaning smell when we first walked in, but it became less noticeable as we ate our meal. So it may depend on the time of day as to the intensity of the smell (we came for a late lunch).

Alesia A.

Yelp
Their jambalaya egg rolls are too good! I've been coming to this spot for a while now and they never disappoint. My friends and I usually come here to watch the Saints games and it's always a vibe. There's a DJ, great service, and amazing food! It really doesn't get any better than that. Plus, there is always something going on and Juliee is the absolute sweetest!

Ray F.

Yelp
Great decor as we walked in! Loved the big welcoming mural! The staff were very friendly and very quick. Exceptionally helpful and made the entire process simple! I had the crawfish and crab beignets with Pina Colada Daiquiri for starters. Then added an order of catfish filets. You want the crawfish and crab beignets! They are silly good! The catfish was perfectly breaded and fried! I loved that they provided a portion cup with the ketchup. The fries were REALLY good and matched the catfish and beignets. This place is REALLY good!

Dom J.

Yelp
Tasty tails is a good place to me. The best part is that you can add ramen noodles. I highly suggest getting 2 packs of it. Very flavorful and had good spice. Next time I'm gonna try the highest spice level and see how that goes. Service was prompt and the food came out pretty fast as well. The margs were just ok. Overall a pretty clean space. Cool it had TVs and a bar in there.

TA T.

Yelp
Wow! BECCA was an Amazing server. We come all the time and she was the best EVER! Always ask for her!

Tee J.

Yelp
Currently, boiled crawfish are $7.99/lb on Tuesdays. I ordered online and arrived 15 minutes after the estimated pick up time. When I arrived, I was told it would be another 30 minutes. Well, I ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes. I get that pick up times aren't exact, but an hour later? Unacceptable. The person at the register was very nonchalant. Let's hope that wasn't the norm and she was just a bit overwhelmed by the crowd. In addition, when I received my order, I was told they were out of turkey necks and would see an adjustment on my card. TBD. The crawfish were good and I would go back, just not while there's a special going on.

Felicia H.

Yelp
Have been a couple of times and the food is good. The only issue is the sewage smell. Sitting in the patio you don't smell it. The service is always friendly and quick. We had wings and crab boil. The boil sauce is a little bit thick to me but pleasant. The wings were hot and fresh.

Kendal S.

Yelp
I love fried chicken. Simple as that. This place has top 3 fried chicken for me in all of Texas. The Cajun wings no sauce is very elite. The fries are Cajun and made perfectly. The crab leg boil was good but a little overpriced but that's life.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Crawfish is hit or miss. But when it's good, it's really good. One of the spots in DFW that's closest to New Orleans style crawfish. I always do take out orders but dined here once. The service was good but the place had a sewer stench. Was not pleasant at all but the food made up for it. Will order here again, just waiting for crawfish prices to go down...

Brianna X.

Yelp
One star since the waiter we had was nice and filled out waters. This place absolutely went downhill. The crawfish was horrendous. It smelled and there were alot of dead ones added in the batch. Most were overcooked. Each time I came was more disappointing from the last. The restroom was disgusting. The walls never seemed to have been cleaned and you can tell Management just doesn't care about the cleanliness. This is a reflection of poor management and just can't imagine how the kitchen is. Would never ever recommend this place. Just felt dirty.

Kiesha W.

Yelp
Okay.... So I was watching the reviews and decided to go for myself ... It was happy hour and the menu prices are really good for Happy Hour. So I tried everything from the chargrilled oysters in which was my absolute favorite 10 pot 10 the wings the jambalaya eggs rolls and the crawfish and crab beignets the king crab legs and hush puppies... I left with food From the time I entered service was good, I sat where I wanted had a good server a Asia male very customer service friendly and attentive. All food was prepared fresh and hot ... I ordered the Hurricane on the rocks and just say if I had gotten another I would've needed an Uber was not stingy on the liquor at all ... VERY GOOD! Definitely my spot for now since I been dying to find a good New Orleans style restaurant in Dallas the looking is over ... I highly recommend you try them

Amber F.

Yelp
I ordered a meat pie - the meat was not seasoned Catfish does not look like fresh catfish Shrimp was the best thing fried very hard Fries were soggy so I'm going to have to put them in the air fryer and there was no Cajun seasoning on them Forgot to give me my lemonade!

Toy H.

Yelp
The food here is delicious happy hour is a great deal! The drinks are good and the music is a vibe! I've had the seafood eggrolls, the lemon pepper Cajun wings & catfish all delicious! The servers are polite and they also have a patio!

LaTosha S.

Yelp
The food was delicious, especially the jambalaya rolls. It was a bit crowded but I was able to get a table fairly quickly. The restaurant has a nice New Orleans painting in the restaurant. The customer service was friendly. I would visit the restaurant again.

Kelly S.

Yelp
The crawfish and crab beignets are tasty. The seafood boil was lacking in salt and the beignet fries were heavenly. Overall this is a cute spot but the service is slow and inattentive. Didnt love it.

Sheng H.

Yelp
Boyfriend and I were in the area so we decided to stop by around 2pm for a late lunch. This is our first time at this location. I appreciate the restaurant honesty with a sign out front apologizing that they are backed up, so there'll be delayed. So we were seated really quickly. Our waitress was a young gal named Rebecca H. (From the receipt). She took our drinks order. It took at least 15 minutes before we got our water. I had ordered a frozen daiquiri. She told me that there isn't a bartender at the moment, but my drink will be coming. We ordered our food. My drink never came, nor did she ever come back to update me on it. Finally when our food started to come out, we inquired about my drink. This has already been 30 minutes. The server went to check on it. Apparently the flavor I wanted was out of service. He kindly offered another flavor, but I said no, it's okay. We sort of never saw our waitress again at our table. She walked around and helped other tables, but she didn't seem very urgent with anything. We finished eating and waited for a while for our tab. There was a line growing at the counter waiting to be seated so we waved down a random guy to let us cash out. He kindly apologized for the lack of service. Overall, food was okay. It was flavorful. But service was horrible. I can understand the delay in service due to being short staffed for the day, but the miscommunication about my drink was what caused the low rating. Regardless, we tipped 18%.

Kiannah W.

Yelp
Ok I hate to start here but the Smell is this place is nauseating. It smells like sewage, mold and bleach. The smell made my stay very short and unpleasant. The place was not clean, several dirty tables, wet floor, trash on the floor next to the trash can. The service was slow as well. But the crawfish beignet was good. The daiquiris all were basic. Definitely order food online for delivery to avoid the smells and environment.

George L.

Yelp
Great services and ambiance. Various of foods. The music is relaxing and welcome seafood lovers.

April V.

Yelp
Visited for rhe first time 30 mins before closing. Ddnt realized they closed at 9 p.m. that night. Took my oysters to go but ddnt really enjoy then once I got home. I will have to visit again to see how I feel about them.

Mel N.

Yelp
Heard about this place and heard they have good deals on food / drinks. Came for when they were running $1 raw oysters from 5-7p on a weeknight or something like that. There was a limit of 12 at once. No issues. Not many people so oysters came out quick and they were attentive for getting more too. They had other specials to. Would come back.

Denise H.

Yelp
I will say this 1-star rating is purely based on the staff service alone. We arrived and our host was great she came to our table and gave us the highlight for our first time at this establishment. However, 10 mins went by and I had to go back to the host to ask for a waiter. At this time she said they were the busy and short staff. The place was not packed at all and the staff shortly arrived there full staff included a busboy, 2 bartenders, 2 waiters, and 2 servers. So I'm not sure what short-staffed means to this small location was not fully packed. Our waiter came by, took our drink order then proceed to make us wait even longer for the drink that was not even correct. Once we placed our order we noticed other guests who arrived later and were of a larger group being given their food and checked on frequently. It was odd and we felt out of place. When our order did arrive they never checked back in again so I had to go to the host to purchase side sauce which did not come right away but was still a waiting game. Our second cocktail order came so late that we took it to go. I will say the service was so bad here that I would not return but I would pick up my order to go. The food is delicious and affordable but for the in-person dining experience, I'll just rather go to Nates for my seafood boil.

Angel M.

Yelp
Seafood restaurant recommended as we traveled here from out of town. Not disappointing at all! Service was great and fast. I can't say food was completely comparable to what I'm used to when I go to New Orleans but I'm pretty particular with my Cajun food. It was definitely packed with flavor and spices and they weren't stingy with the seafood or serving sizes!!

Iqra C.

Yelp
The charbroiled oysters were seasoned well! I personally have had better in New Orleans. The crawfish pasta was not as flavorful. I feel like it could have been more creamy and seasoned better. It's good but if you had authentic New Orleans food then you may be let down. The customer service was really good! Everyone was super nice and friendly! :)

Joe P.

Yelp
Amazing food! BUT this restaurant is not environment conscious AT ALL. The don't reuse, recycle, or reduce. All their drinks come in throwaway plastic to-go cups, AND every time they refill your drink, they add a new lid and a new straw. UGH. The next time I had it refilled, I took the lid and straw off and just gave him my cup. When he brought it back it had a new lid and a new straw! So even though their food is amazing, this really left a sour taste in my mouth. Also, everyone at my table had finger food, so I'm not sure what utensils they'd give you to eat their pastas. Probably plastic forks ... Service was lacking as well. Plenty of servers were right there; they just weren't paying attention to their customers' needs.

Zach M.

Yelp
Momma, I found it! After visiting numerous places, I finally found the best spot for Crawfish in the DFW area. Heck, it might be the best in Texas! I got the 2lbs of Crawfish with the Who Dat Extra Spicy. It even made me sweat a little so that in itself was a success! These weren't skimpy craws either, Big ole Crawfish! I also got the Jambalaya egg rolls, and they were equally fantastic! Good portion was overflowing out of the box. Peep my video when I walked out. I had the biggest smile on my face, everything was remarkable from the food and spectacular service. I can't wait to come back!

Keva E.

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing so flavorful. The vibe is nice and cultural and so pretty inside

Toya L.

Yelp
Kinda glad I didn't read the reviews prior to coming, but instead seen someone I know post about this place on her fb. I went during happy hour so I didn't experience the crowd and wait times as stated in other reviews. Service was very efficient, everyone checked on me to see if I needed anything, gave opinion/suggestions on items to try and just super kind/friendly. The food I got for the most part was amazing. All items were hot, fresh and made to order. The only thing I wasn't sold on was the gator dog and that was just personal preference. The charbroiled oysters were to die for and the jambalaya egg rolls were a pleasant surprise. The music in the background was cool but not so loud to where you can't have a conversation. The aesthetics of the place were basic but I'm there for good food so that doesn't really matter to me. Would definitely recommend and know that I will return.

Myesha M.

Yelp
Service was a little lacking and delayed , however for a Tuesday they were pretty packed in there and more than likely didn't have the right amount of workers for the volume that was going on. That and they had a crawfish special going on and it literally felt like no one was wanting to eat and leave. People were doubling up and adding to their orders, which I understood because I did the same when we eventually got to be seated and eat. The clientele was aggressive and very impatient. It absolutely pisses me off when I see how some people treat restaurant workers as if they aren't doing them a service by reporting to work and serving them. Crowd control was horrible. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a security guard of some sort . Those getting Togo orders arguing with those waiting in line to be seated , and people in line waiting arguing with each other about who was in lines first or next. People waiting in line aggressively addressing the workers about timing it was a complete freak show , And the way the world is today , I was literally uncomfortable and felt unsafe with the level of animosity around the room. When seated our server was friendly. And did anticipate majority of our needs. There were a few things that we were charged for but never got. We allowed the server to choose our drink , she did well . It was tasty and had a little kick to it. Together We ordered 1lbs of shrimp heads on , 6lbs of the Nola style crawfish and the half a dozen of fresh raw oysters. When I tell you those were the best oysters I've ever had , I'm so serious. They were extremely fresh yet Didn't taste or smell fishy like at most places. The crawfish were so big and juicy , and that Nola flavor is to die for . I now feel like I've been eating them wrong all this time after visiting this establishment. Typically I've always had them saucy, like in a gravy type consistency, Which I was informed That that's the Texas way to prepare them. The Nola style is more of a dry seasoning and it was fantastic. It's a little far from where I live, about 40 mins but for me it was worth it . Would I come back again ? ABSOLUTELY, the food was too good !!!! only I'd simply get it to go !! The establishment is unorganized and it doesn't feel safe at all !

Vania B.

Yelp
Tasty Tails serves up some pretty tasty tails! Their "who dat" sauce is consistently flavorful and I usually get it with the "peel and eat" shrimp or crawfish. When crawfish is in season (right now at time of writing), the crawfish are huge! Hush puppies were also good, crunchy exterior and soft interior; they're even better when they're on sale during happy hour!

Yelp
Food was incredible and prices were reasonable. I was only in town 3 days and I came here twice, I wish I could've tried more! The po boy, hush puppies and jambalaya egg rolls were next level. I had the red beans and rice and wasn't super impressed but everything else was incredible!

Yelp
Service was great, I loved the jambalaya rolls and especially the sauce. The sauce was good but at the bottom of the bag. I kind of wish that it would've grabbed the noodles better as well as the shrimp. The muscles were a little bit overcooked. Flavor was great.

Yelp
I LOVE this location... great service, great food and super cool ambiance!! What made the experience 5 stars was the great service from Zachary!! We used to go to the old location in Richardson so this was an added bonus and the music was on point! We will be back soon!

Yelp
Pros: good music, crawfish fries and oysters were so yummy, and they have a really good happy hour and Monday special. I also had the catfish which was a good sized filet, and seasoned perfectly. Cons: my crawfish had absolutely no flavor. And I even made sure to get it spicy. I ended up eating about 5 pieces and I left the rest there due to the lack of flavor. I would return, and order other things.

Yelp
**UPDATED REVIEW** I posted my original review a year ago. I primarily come here for the crawfish but after today, I won't even do that. The service is always great, no problems there but if you're charging $1 extra for lemon pepper seasoning on the wings, put it on the food. I also got a fried fish basket w/ fries. Thank god for an air fryer bc these fries were likely cooked in a microwave. BARELY cooked. So ridiculous. Called back to let the girl who took my order know and the phone lines are backed up. This place isn't always consistent & im super good from now on. _________________ Came on Crawfish tuesdays (to add context, crawfish are in season, 6.99/lb on Tuesdays) & placed a to-go order . I also ordered 10 Nola wings & asked for a shot of who dat sauce. Luckily I read all reviews so I know the 6.99 price for crawfish doesn't include any addtl flavoring or sauces. The girl taking the order asked me if I wanted any flavoring added but never said there would be a price difference so I declined. Order took longer than I was advised & with the people dining in + to go orders, this location doesn't have enough staff. Everyone running around, seems a bit unorganized. But back to the food . The crawfish Nola style is all you need! Pleaseeee don't add any xtra flavor or heat. It's so fresh & has a slight kick of its own. Delicious. The wings were cool, I wish they were fried a little harder, for my preference but I'd get them again. Who dat sauce is trash -- oil based & really lacking any real flavor. Over all, def will be returning to try other stuff

Yelp
Service is slow but friendly, the food takes a long time to be served. The establishment is very dirty, tables and seating does not look like it's been properly cleaned and the washrooms are filthy. Food is just ok 3.5/5 for the food.

Yelp
While at the salon nearby (actually in the same strip mall), my stylist kept raving about Tasty Tails. It was a Thursday and they told me that on Thursdays, they have Happy Hour. Well, they talked it up so much that I had to try it. After looking over the menu (everything seemed so appetizing), I ended up getting the Jambalaya Eggrolls, 2 Meat Pies, and the Cajun Lemon Pepper Wings. Oh gosh!!! I started eating one of the meat pies when I got into the car. It was so good!! The meat was well seasoned, moist and so flavorful. The crust wasn't too hard; it was just right. When I finally tasted the eggrolls, I fell in love. It is just what you're thinking and yes, it's oh so tasty!! Rice and meat wrapped in an eggroll. Such a delight!! It's spicy but not too overwhelming and it has pieces of andouille sausage. You would love it!! The wings were also tasty. The amount of lemon pepper seasoning is just right. Overall, Tasty Tails is very tasty. I'll visit again to try more items on the menu.
