I read alot of great reviews about this restaurant, so I decided to try , of being the staff was friendly and helpful, also the atmosphere was amazing, great and delicious food they have , seriously if i back to istanbul this the first restaurant i will visit , by the way if you want to try great turkey food go to this restaurant immediately 👍

There was a line in front of the store because its so well known. The food was worth the wait (about 10 min for us), so tasty and absolutely delicious. The service was less than we expected for such a famous place, the waiters were rude and it took a long time for our food to come, other people got their food almost instantly or within 5 min. The atmosphere was that of a fast food restaurant, loud people and close together. The food came quickly and people ate quick and left quick. I wouldn't go if you're looking for a cozy place to eat and sit. If you're looking for amazing food and don't really care about the atmosphere then this is the place to go.

I had a lahmacun, bulgur pilavi and urfa on onion. Lahmacun and urfa were nice, bulgur was just ok. They a nice kadayif which should not be missed. The service was quick and welcoming.

The place honestly deserves the Michelin! The food was very delicious, and the servers are helpful and super friendly. A must try, everything on the menu is exquisite!!

My friends brought me to this place. After a short wait in line, we got in. For starters, we each had a spicy lahmacun and ordered Halepişi Kebab and Ali Nazik Kebab to share. The lahmacun was thin, crispy, and flavorful, with just the right amount of meat. The Halepişi Kebab, with its tomato sauce, was really tasty. The smoky flavor in the meat of the Ali Nazik Kebab was excellent. Next time, I’ll go for the Lamb Shish, as the yogurt slightly muted the smoky taste. The kaymaklı tel kadayıf we had for dessert was average. Service was very fast, and for such a popular place, the waitstaff was quite polite. I recommend it.

You don't need to reserve a table in advance, but if you want a window seat, you'll need a bit of luck. I highly recommend trying the lahmacun here; it was delicious, though not the best I've ever had. It's funny that you have to order lemon separately for the lahmacun. The kebabs were very flavorful. I went there based on a friend's recommendation. The person taking orders speaks English well, but the rest of the staff doesn't, which is pretty normal. The only thing that bothered me was that they took my fork while clearing the plates during the meal and never brought me a new one. Overall, it was good, but not particularly special.

I have no idea how this place happens to receive a Michelin star 3 years in a row.. also in 2025 which has just started.. the food is super-basic Turkish kebab-style, served in the most primitive way, actually, even worse than in lots of other alike places all over Turkey, and priced higher, at the same time. The interior is super basic too, not very cost. Definitely, not a place for occasional dinner.

The most delicious food in Istanbul, so authentic and tasty. The staff are lovely too.
