Tatte is so versatile in its products, and it feels like they specialize in everything! It’s hard to find a cafe that isn’t lacking in a certain area, but Tatte does not lack taste or quality in anything they offer.
The coffee, salads, sandwiches, pastries, and meats are all fantastic, fresh, and taste high-end, but at an affordable price tag.
I have visited every day so far while on my visit to Boston. I initially came for lattes and pastries, but decided to go for savory entrees while I was there. I don’t like salad but theirs are really excellent, and their dressings don’t taste loaded with sugar.
The salmon, Jerusalem bagel, eggs, potato hashes, and more were really flavorful and fresh. Personally, it felt like guilt-free eating. Plus their bread is house-made!
Pastries
My favorite pastry was the sour cherry danish, the almond croissant was also great (I recommend it warmed for a softer bite). I thought the Morning Bun was a bit dry, and I would not order it again.
Coffee
I had a pistachio latte, honey halva latte, and plain latte. Pistachio was my favorite!
Service
Service was fast (even during rushes), but everything was great in terms of temperature. The employees were also very friendly and well-mannered.
Tatte throughout the day had plenty of pastries, so I didn’t feel the need to show up first thing in the morning in order to have options.
