"Hot donuts and fresh Vigilante coffee at this Bethesda spot make it a great choice for people looking for a coffee shop vibe without the chain coffee shop scene." - Rebecca Gale

This charming bakery and cafe is a haven for bread lovers and coffee connoisseurs alike. Great food presentation and good taste. Also Tatte house latte is my favorite. Service is fast and the staffs are attentive. Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere is what truly sets Tatte apart. The right open space lighting, cozy seating, and friendly staff create a relaxing space. It's the perfect place to linger over your coffee or catch up with friends

4 stars for 4 reasons 1. Good food! BLT with smoked bacon is unbeatable and best I’ve had! Def get it if you eat pork! The braised beef grilled cheese sandwich with horseradish beet relish made the sandwich really good! Without the horseradish beet relish the sandwich would be kinda dry. 2. Very good price 3. Cool ambiance and good music 4. Food came out fairly quickly Minus 1 stars because the customer service provided is kinda slow and desserts are kinda bad considering this is a bakery.

Tatte is such a cute café and the aesthetic is reason enough for me to go. The food is quite excellent too. The B.L.A.T. is awesome—deliciously salty. 9.5/10 I highly recommend! For dessert, definitely get one of their brownies. They are AMAZING. Super fudgy. 10/10. I’ve also gotten the Jerusalem bagel (7/10) and the roasted cauliflower sandwich (9.5/10 I also really recommend this). Unlike the food, however, the drinks are average or subpar. The regular latte is just okay (6/10) and the chai latte is really watered down (4/10). I also wasn’t a huge fan of their honey halva latte (5/10). I do appreciate that they provide simple syrup and honey at the counter so you can control how sweet your drinks are. Overall, its an adorable place to get work done or meet up with friends—I’d just pass on the drinks.

Tatte? No way! Rudest management in the business. You start in line ordering food, then shuffle in circles to find seating for 3 people. There’s several patrons lingering on laptops and no seating options. Observing the adjacent business lobby is open with seating just outside the shared door with Tatte, inquiry is made with security if Tatte patrons may seat there - yes! Success, seating for 3 found. Not so fast! Inside a server mentions they do not check that area for dishes. It’s okay, we are happy to bring them back. Then conversation continues amongst two of us at the bar awaiting food. When we start to collect it, the person to my right interrupts the conversation, making no identification of herself, and proceeds to tell us we cannot take dishes next door. When we tell her security was fine with it. She insists Tatte doesn’t allow it and then says, may WE get you to go containers? At this point, now I see she works for Tatte. I say no, get my son from next door, find a stool on the other side of the counter and plop it on the end at the bar. We eat at the bar, so seating did eventually work out. Mind you not everyone could enjoy drinks as the came out when made and not together. Conversation with my party is limited because the place is loud and we are at a bar. I proceed to watch this rudest manager with no customer interaction skills indulge in food, allow her and another to consume a full side of the bar for patrons search for seats, she bark orders to employees actually working on their feet behind the counter, and not give two cents care about how she treats customers. It’s a good thing I ate my last meal here at the counter. The sourdough bread in the egg dish would’ve broken plastic to-go utensils it was so hard. It’s a day later and I’ve found much friendlier eateries, with plenty of seating, great food, better management and better mochas nearby. So long Tatte! I refuse to support a business that hires the kind of management you employ. I suggest signage be revised on the door to KINDLY inform patrons not to take dishes next door. I suppose they can be taken outside though at the tables though?

Worth going to. I had a salad with chicken and squash and it didn’t look like much when I opened the takeaway box, but it was excellent and filling. With a 10% tip, it was $17 so there’s that. I may try a sandwich next. We’ll see…

Man… When I say that the breakfast sandwich that I had this morning was off of the charts!! I ordered the Smoked salmon avocado with egg on a homemade bun. It was nothing like I had ever tasted. I will be ordering this again and again. This was my very first time ordering from Tatte Bakery & Cafe. Thank you for making my day.

Super busy, I can tell it's usually popular. I didn't particularly enjoy my food but the lamb hash my better half got was amazing! Good little pastries and yogurt as well. Service was alright, they're definitely a bit rushed in there and I can tell.

I got a chocolate croissant at 10 am Sunday and it’s at least a day old if not longer. Everyone knows what it looks like when you keep a croissant on the counter for the next day. Shame on the store that sells it as fresh on a Sunday morning. The baguette is also hard inside. If you do this, what would you do in the kitchen and put in people's food?
