First time visitor, burning some time and needing breakfast. This is a fairly hip coffee shop outside the Fox 5 office. Floor to ceiling windows, comfortable seats and a bar. It’s nice. There’s a bakery and brunch and breakfast menus. The person taking my order was impersonal as was the person who brought my sandwich but let by coffee sit at the counter for several minutes until it was lukewarm. The flat white was standard fare, nothing special but a good 8oz size. The sausage breakfast sandwich has chorizo eggs and cheese. It’s well sized and a good value for $8. Nice spot with solid food and better prices than you’d expect but the service could be better.

✨ Tatte Bakery & Café – Worth the Hype? ✨ I stopped by Tatte for a casual bite and left officially obsessed. I ordered their smoked salmon breakfast sandwich on a housemade bun, layered with creamy scrambled eggs, capers, pickled onions, fresh sprouts, and a tangy aioli. The textures and flavors were chef’s kiss — savory, balanced, and satisfying without being heavy. Paired it with an iced matcha latte that was smooth, earthy, and just the right amount of sweet. The vibe? Bright, airy, and chic. Perfect spot for catching up with a friend or zoning into work with a solid playlist and great food. 🧡 Rating: 9/10 📍 Location: Tatte Bakery & Café ☕️ Must-try: Salmon sandwich + iced matcha latte Would I go back? Absolutely.

The vibe is top-notch. A corner all glass windows cafe. The service was quick. They will bring it to you if you prefer that. Super friendly staff and super busy as well. I had a mocha which was quite delicious.

Found my new favorite bakery! The combination of reasonable prices, generous portions, and consistently fresh products makes this place a treasure. The friendly service is the cherry on top, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you're grabbing a quick morning pastry or stocking up for the week, you'll leave satisfied and already planning your next visit. This bakery has mastered the perfect recipe: quality products + fair prices + excellent service = happy customers. Trust me, once you try it, you'll be hooked! Already planning my next visit for more of those amazing croissants.Pro tip: Visit in the morning to catch everything fresh out of the oven, though they maintain quality throughout the day!

Love the atmosphere, but absolutely disappointed with the service. My first and definitely the last time visiting this bakery, which is unfortunate since the food is good too. The servers and employees behind the counter were downright rude, and seemed to have an attitude for some God forsaken reason. We ordered some desserts and savory baked goods, and instead of the staff volunteering to heat up the savory bakes, made such a face when we asked if they could do it. My friend mistakenly placed a finger on the glass counter, and this staff so very rudely told her to move her hand from the glass. I get it, we should not touch the glass for hygiene reasons, but there's a certain way you talk to customers, or for any other person for that matter. Just working for a fancy bakery doesn't give you the right to look down on others, especially customers. So turned off by the service, I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone till I see the management doing something to remedy this.

We had a nice visit to Tatte in Bethesda, but I have to share a little funny moment. I wanted the Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich—without the egg. When I asked, they told me it wasn’t possible. We asked if they could check with the chef and came back to say “no, we can’t do it”So, we asked if there was anything similar, and it turns out there was: the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast, which already came without the egg! I didn’t see it on the menu at first, but I thought, why not just suggest the alternative instead of saying it can’t be done? It gave me a good laugh, and in the end, I got what I wanted. The toast was really good—fresh ingredients, great flavors, and the green herb dressing was a nice touch. Also, my mocha latte was quite lovely and hit the spot. Would I go back? Definitely. Next time, I’ll just know what to ask for!

Google
This tatte is the worst one their standards are non existent. Have ordered the chicken pita and fig prosciutto many times from other ones before and was good. Here they barely cut up your food or prepare. Today I got fig prosciutto with no fig and the chicken pita was under prepared and cut. Crazy they think something like this should be worth 15 dollars.

I have heard so much hype about this place so I came in for lunch. The cafe is bright and airy and the staff is very friendly. You order at the counter and they give you a number and you sit wherever you like. I ordered a salad and a soup. Everything is made to order which I like and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The portion sizes are good and there's lots of flavor! I also tried their pistachio latte which was sweet and rich and I grabbed a pear juice to take with me which only has one ingredient in it which is pear so I feel good about drinking it. The only critique I have is I wish there were a few more inside tables but looking around I don't where they would be able to put more tables so it's fine. It fills up very fast here so I recommend eating here during off peak hours or taking your food to go. There is outside seating but with the weather getting colder that won't be an option for much longer. This is a great spot and I will be back!

Yelp
Summer Sweet Treats!!! This week I enjoyed the "Lemon Poppyseed Cake" a rich, moist loaf cake bursting w/lemon flavor & tasty icing too. Also a "Chocolate Sandwich" - Cookie-(2) chocolate cookies studded w/cacao nibs (Chocolate) Filled w/a sweet rich filling. (Think gourmet Oreo cookie. Decadent! Prompt courteous customer service. See Photos...

Yelp
The food here is amazing, especially for the price. The drinks are also delicious, I loved the seasonal summer Peach & Mint Refresher. My BLAT sandwich was really tasty and my friend loved her shakshuka. Overall the food feels delicious but also healthy, there's no greasy feeling. I love Tatte so much, it's a great spot to bring your friends and relax, or to bring your laptop and study. The atmosphere is calming and the music isn't too loud. The servers are all well mannered and super kind. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich! Tatte's Breakfast Sandwich with a croissant, and an over easy egg, was everything I needed it to be. It normally comes on sourdough, so I will try that next. I also ordered their iced matcha, nothing special, but perfect for a quick boost without the jitters. I like the openness of the restaurant but there is little seating. It's more of an in and out type of situation. Parking is beast so be aware.

Yelp
My first visit to a Tatte location. I've been intrigued by their wide windows and perfectly posed pastries. There is a nice array of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I got a slice of the lemon poppy loaf and halloumi sandwich. I expect the sandwich to have more halloumi. I'm a cheese fan so that would have elevated the taste. The poppy loaf tasted great in the restaurant but stale as the same day leftovers. The location was clean and service was good. The cashiers were quick to move the lines alone.

Yelp
The interior is very nice but unfortunately I didn't think the food was particularly good. The best item was the Lamb Hash, which was pretty decent, but the Turkey sandwhich was just ok and the museli and raspberry cheesecake were bad. The house latte and chai latte were both worse than the food - if stopping by I'd recommend skipping the drinks here.
google avatar

Frank Y.

Yelp
The chicken salad sandwich here is excellent and there is decent seating space for personal or business meetings, but as time has gone on the food quality seems to have been impacted just slightly by overexpansion and a partnership with Panera. Takeout service is always efficient and organized, though not being able to pick up via DoorDash adds slightly to ordering times as their own ordering platform isn't as fast or user friendly
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love Tatte Bakery! I'm blown away by the beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. Their pastries are true works of art--flaky, fresh, and full of flavor. The interior design is cozy yet modern, making it a perfect place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or just enjoy a quiet moment alone. You can really tell that quality and care go into everything they serve. Tatte has quickly become one of my favorite spots--highly recommend!

Yelp
Multigrain loaf is absolutely delicious, outside is perfectly crisp while inside of bread is so soft and delightful. There's a variety of seeds as well, and they are toasted to perfection. Pear tart was very lovely, half of a Bosch pear inside, a bit sweet for a dessert. The Kouign-amann is akin to a brioche, with a ton of sugar on the bottom, very flaky and nice texture. Black sesame latte had a ton of sesame! Just make to stir before trying. For a pickup order, I was late due to the snow on the road, so the manager actually remade my coffee for me. Warning about parking in front of the bakery, very tough to find spots! Do not park in front of the shop, or you will get a ticket.
google avatar

Yelp
Good but not great. I stopped by the bakery this morning. The space is light and airy and clean. Lots of customers were pouring in. The service was fast and attentive. I had a croissant that was nice and buttery, but the outside was not flaky and crisp. I had a morning Bunn that was Sugary with a nice taste of cinnamon, but was slightly tough. I also had a cherry almond pistachio tart that was slightly dry. The baked items were good, but not great.

Yelp
Had the traditional shakshuka, and it was delicious. It was perfect for breakfast with creamy eggs and feta cheese. The sever was really nice and made sure we had everything we had ordered! The place would be nice if it had more tables for four but other wise it was a cute little place! The bakery here was delicious too! Had some bake goods to go!
google avatar

Jasmine K.

Yelp
Aesthetically pleasing bakery like cafe! Wide selection of pastries to choose from with menu options as well! Was pretty busy the few times I've been here. I always end up ordering at least 3 things just to try everything out!

Yelp
I really enjoy Tatte bakeries. After hearing that our usual coffee stop had closed in Bethesda Row, I was happy to discover Tatte gave us a new place to come to during our coffee bike rides. I ordered a mini chocolate and raspberry cake with a cappuccino. They gave me a number that I took with my table so the server can locate me. It wasn't extremely busy, but they had a steady stream of people. So the coffee and treat don't come out too quickly. But the wait wasn't too bad. They have a good amount of tables inside. They also have some tables lining the outside of the shop. This is where we chose to sit to enjoy the fresh air. The chocolate raspberry cake was a nice small bite/treat to give me the sweet boost I needed for my ride back home. I chased it down with the cappuccino, which had enough boldness and flavor without being dulled by the milk. Tatte always has a nice display of treats. They also serve food, which I haven't tried yet, but hear it's good. I'll have to come by one day when I have more time for a meal. My friend did get the asparagus tart, which she enjoyed.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a order at counter coffee shop and french bakery with a expanded menu. The selection is Paris worthy. The service is order at counter, take a number type. Nice people. We ordered breakfast and it took about 12 minutes to get the order. not bad. It's a lovely white tile interior. All hard service. Clean. Does not come off as a place one could linger for hours at but nice. It was $17.50 PP with full breakfasts and espresso drinks. Good Value Now, the thing that sets is apart is the food which is artfully prepared and delicious.

Yelp
Great place for a quick stop and go or for a brunch. There are a lot of open spots indoors and outdoors. The quality of the food, pastries and drinks are all very good. Aesthetic and modern look. Came here with a friend and ordered two cortados. Little spill of the cortado when being served. Service is a hit or miss.

Yelp
I love Tatte (despite the prices). But I've ordered UberEats from this specific location (Bethesda) multiple times and 50% of the time THEY COMPLETELY MISS ITEMS. These are not complicated orders ... but the items are simply not there. It is so frustrating. Each time it happens I swear I'm not going to order again and then several weeks/months later I'm busy at work so succumb to the temptation again only to be irritated AGAIN at getting an incomplete order despite being charged a ridiculous amount. This time the receipt itself SHOWED only two out of seven items "checked" off. The other five unchecked items were the ones missing. To add yet more insult to injury, the lid on the soup was loose so there was soup all over the bottom of the bag it was in as well as the container. I am so annoyed at this point that I probably shouldn't be posting this review angry but this has been a repeated issue with this specific location and I don't know where else to give folks a head's up on what appears to be a complete disregard for proper care and food handling or quality control for delivery orders. Honestly, Tatte Bethesda, what the heck.

Yelp
Food was good. I expected as much. I wasn't expecting the tight place and the multiple people hoarding tables with a coffee and their computer. One guy was hogging a 4 top with just a glass of water. No bueno Management should have told him buy a meal or stand and wait. He was there 20 min before his friends showed up. The food is good and when the weather is warm there are outdoor tables. But I would not recommend this place for a sit down in the winter. There are not enough tables for the popularity and people using free WiFi are in abundance.
google avatar

Jenny Mae S.

Yelp
Love this Tatte, but my goodness is it a pain and a half to park unless you use the garage. Every pastry staple is beautiful and delicious -- the candied orange cake, for example. The coffee is consistent and very good. Their baristas have made fantastic latte art in the past (Halloween comes to mind) and I've always had good experiences with the service staff. This spot is always loud but that's unsurprising and honestly expected given how busy they are.

Yelp
As someone from Boston, I absolutely love Tatte-- and was thrilled to see it come to the DC area. I stopped by for an iced black tea, a classic and one of my favorites. The tea was of good quality and tasty, but it wasn't really iced-- more cooled down. It would have been a five star rating for more ice.

Yelp
I can't wait to come back! Tatte has a really cute, really clean & fresh atmosphere. The first thing I noticed were the amazing pastries. There were so many that looked delicious, but we got the fruit box that had a delectable cream filling & a pain au chocolat that was perfectly flaky. To eat we got a breakfast sandwich and the lamb meatball shakshuka with challah bread, which were both incredible. To drink, we got an americano & their fig, lemon, mint soda. The espresso was a flavorful light roast, and the soda was refreshing. We'll definitely be back, and I can't wait to try more from the menu.

Yelp
I went on a Sunday morning with a friend and it was crowded but we were quickly able to find high seats against the wall. We placed our jackets down to save our seats while we ordered. Our food and drinks came pretty fast and were brought out by the staff. Both the staff who took our order and delivered our food were friendly and helpful. I ordered the traditional Shakshuka. It had a ton of flavor, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and it was served with 3 large toasted pieces of challah. My friend got the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. It had the perfect balance of cheese, egg, and vegetables.

Yelp
We love the ambiance of this cafe! A mixed of corporate and locals dine here. The avocado croissant was almost guilt free and so delicious. The cakes and coffee were also good. The service was up to par.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the French toast... wish there's more stuff besides just eggs on the "Eggs on the hole" but everything tasted delicious - latte is pretty spot on too. Love the ambiance. It's bright and chic. Servers are attentive and you have to grab your utensils and water yourself. But I didn't mind that.

Yelp
Met a client here for lunch, it was quite crowded, but we were able to find a place to sit! We enjoyed a fruit box, lattes and two of the tuna salads. After we ate my client decided to gather a bunch of desserts to take home to her family, and the cashier was less than patient with her. I found the experience kind of annoying, because she wanted to make a nice box, and the cashier kept insisting on putting everything in little small boxes. She was impatient with the ordering process while my client chose what she wanted, and I didn't appreciate that. I understand that it's stressful to be a counter worker in a place that busy, but kindness goes a long way. It's not like she was only choosing couple of items, she ended up with about eight things. Overall, I would eat here again, but I might choose to order online.

Yelp
Savory French Toast is not good. Bread was very hard. I also added sausage to the order. I spit that out immediately
google avatar

Yelp
-matcha latte came unsweetened -service was lackluster -tiny space and always so busy

Yelp
Food is tasty - service is snappy - very open and cheery - it is a very clean cafe and the atmosphere is pleasant

Yelp
If you don't have time to read: This is an amazing upscale cafe! You can take a guest from out of town or a date to and you will good! ;) Order and try different things with confidence because so far, they didn't fail me! Look for their new locations around you, they are expanding! Expensive? Maybe! But it's worth it! Info that doesn't matter to you: In 2016, the founder & Ex CEO of Panera Bread and Au Bon Pain, Ron Shaich, bought a 50.01% stake in Tatte. Tatte Bakery & Café is an American-Mediterranean gourmet fast-casual bakery and café founded by Israeli-born Tzurit Or While it doesn't really matter to you but that's what made Tatte amazing today, one of my favorites and a place I wish to see everywhere that could replace my reliance on panera or starbucks for me or imagine America runs on Tatte? Lol Tatte vibes are unique! With the mosaic tiles and the famous iconic location name tile - they put the location name on a nice mosaic tile at every location - it gives me classic retro 50's & 60's vibes! Which I love & adore! But if the story stopped here, then I wouldn't waste my money - a lot of money - on each visit to Tatte! The Mediterranean items they have made Tatte my dream place came true ! My usual is any of the Shakshukas, and either Espresso or Nitro Cold brew depends on my mood or the season! My friends tried different items and they loved it! The Shakshukas come in the pan! Hot and fresh! With delicious base , eggs, and bread on the side! I love how they are flexible about adding eggs with extra charge! That's fine with me! The desserts look amazing! The baked items look amazing and come in a big portion ! I love the take-home products too, and my favorite is the spicy labneh! The store is clean , the staff is very nice all the time! The outdoor seats are pretty nice! The seats around the barista like bar seats are nice! I really like this place indoor , outdoor, staff, food and drinks! Everything! Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

Yelp
I stopped by Tatte Bakery and Cafe for small get together. Overall, I thought the cafe was pretty conducive for our meetup of about 10 people. The cafe has a pretty large, open, spacious, and clean area. Although I only had coffee during my event, I did order a couple of pastries to go. For my to-go order, I went with an individual sized cheesecake and coffee caramel mousse. Both items were about $8, which I think is about standard in terms of pricing for the area. The desserts were tasty, but they were not anything out of this world (no hate intended). Overall, the staff were pretty friendly.

Yelp
Loud atmosphere, not enough seating for a Sunday morning. Customers will be on the watch for a table. Otherwise, lovely place. Tried the lamb meatball shakshuka for the first time and loved the combinated of richness and flavor. Sweets presented were eye-catching and service was nice and quick. Just wish there was more seating. Oh and the flooring was interesting.

Yelp
This is absolutely one of my favorite go to places for breakfast and lunch! Hands down the best turkey sandwich with sprouts and avocado, salmon, raspberry tea cake and pear tarts (seasonal). The service is always friendly and they're clean, I haven't been to a location I didn't enjoy. When you thought the bakery and food was great they have wonderful tea's and coffee's.

Yelp
I felt undressed in this fancy little bakery this morning. Everyone was so well polished and I looked like a bum lol. For whatever reason it seemed like all the rich people stopped here today for pastries and coffee. I got two breakfast sandwiches with bacon and eggs fried hard and I devoured mine before I even thought about taking a picture which isn't normal for me lol. My husband also enjoyed his breakfast sandwich which was the exact same. He also got a cup of coffee and said it was the best he's had in a while. He drinks his coffee black so he hates when it tastes like dirt lol. In total I paid $20 and some change, typical pricing for Bethesda. The place was busy and clean. The staff was friendly and patient with me because I didn't know what I wanted lol. They have so much to choose from so I was overwhelmed because the pastries look so good. The parking isn't that great here but there is street parking and garages near by.

Yelp
The only place to get a black sesame latte. I was surprised by the fact that the espresso was more apparent this time. Most traditional black sesame lattes don't have coffee in them, so I was surprised. The brownie was very dangerous--thick, sweet, and decadent. It would have been nice if it was warm and not just the plate that I was handed. The chocolate caramel tart was less sweet on the outside, but sweet in the middle. Overall, good latte, some good pastries, and a solid location to study and do work (although it can be a little loud).

Yelp
As much as I usually like Tatte, this location could use work. I get the sense that it's not as well-managed as it should be. I came in on a week day for some coffee and a sandwich. When I came in, Tatte was pretty much empty apart from a few UberEats drivers who were waiting for their customers' orders. The coffee came out quickly. However, the sandwich took 20-25 minutes. Others waited even longer (one driver said he'd been waiting for 45 minutes). We were all very confused because we could see straight into the kitchen, and nobody was working. At one point, all the chefs left their stations--at which point the drivers and I started asking the staff if our orders were being made. The staff seemed lost. A woman (who I assume was the manager) didn't seem to care or leave the kitchen, apart from one moment when a customer expressed his frustration and she came out to yell at him. It was quite a circus. Turned out my sandwich was either never made or given to another customer. It took several inquiries before one staff member cared enough to check with the chefs.

Yelp
A lot of variety on the menu, including options for vegetarians. Delicious looking pasties. Maybe next time I'll indulge in a sweet.

Yelp
I've been to this location multiple times now and love introducing this place to friends. Tatte is too good - the food and experience will sell itself. The cafe is pretty large but can get really full during brunch times on the weekends especially. Tatte is an experience. When you enter, you find yourself entering a restaurant with lots of windows, bright and white theme, with stylish decor. There's a very large spread of all types of pastries and desert beautifully placed for your eyes to see and for your mouth to start watering. Right next to the pastries, you'll find the cashiers, which is where you order your food, coffee, pastries etc. They have an expansive menu of solid meals. After ordering, they give you a numbered stand for you to put at the table of your choosing and then they'll deliver your order to you. The Smoked Salmon & Avocado Tartine is one of the best versions of avocado toast you'll ever have. The base is a large thick sourdough toast (sourdough flavor is very light). They top it with an herbed dressing, diced chunks of avocado (which I love as an alternative to the normal smashed avocados), smoked salmon, tomatoes, fresh dill, capers, and onions. It's amazing for your tastebuds. I've had the Lamb Meatball Shakshuka too and it's darn tasty. If you come here, I encourage you to try something fun as opposed to a simple breakfast sandwich. The coffee here is also solid. I like getting a cortado with oatmilk. They have an all day menu too which has a lot of lunch (or dinner) items in addition to brunch food. Tatte pronounced like latte is the place to be! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Honestly, I think this is my favorite Tatte location. The Croque Madam here has always been a huge hit, whereas the white sauce on top of the Croque Madam at some of the spots in DC don't always have the best flavor. For those who are unfamiliar, Tatte Bakery & Cafe is a small chain in the DMV (DC/MD/VA) area. Most locations are in DC itself, but this one is in Bethesda, MD. I have eaten at many of the locations in DC, but this location is my favorite. However, it gets quite busy on weekends, and you may struggle to find a seat. Also, the parking is a bit rough. There is a parking structure at an apartment building nearby that costs $12 for the first hour. All of the food I've tried at this location has been great. While the Croque Madam is my personal favorite, the Lamb Meatball Shakshuka also stands out as a delicious and very filling dish. I highly recommend a visit if you are nearby! It is definitely worth your time, money, and energy!

Yelp
When you walk into the bakery the first thing you see is a display case of fresh baked goodies. The coconut mixed berry tart and apricot plum galette quickly caught my eye. Got the coconut mixed berry tart warmed and I loved it. You can tell the tart crust was homemade and fresh berries used. Although it was a pretty large place it still had a cozy feel probably do to the wrap around bar seating which I enjoyed because you could sit and watch them make coffee. Service was Great and I got some good recommendations. I ended up going with the sausage breakfast sandwich which was moderately priced at 8.50 which I appreciated due to being in Bethesda where the cost of living is high and everything is expensive. Felt like a steal since the bread is homemade, egg was cooked to order and the sausage was also house made and had a nice spice. Would definitely return next time I'm in Bethesda!

Yelp
All I need to say is shashuka! Please try it! It's so good! Comes out hot, with warm bread and with fresh ingredients with the tomato base, cherry peppers, a running eggs and some Tzatziki wow chef's kiss! I will be back for this. My Friend got the avocado toast and it was very fresh. The service was great and they were very attentive! As always the shop is very cute!

Really good food. A little pricy but totally worth it. It can be quite crowded at times, so be prepared to wait a little.

Yelp
Am I missing something here? We have visited Tatte three times within a week span and I'm just not impressed. From the coffee to the pastries, everything was "okay" or "meh". We didn't get anything extreme or out of the ordinary - a flat white, a walnut brownie, and a pistachio cherry tart. The flat white was a mediocre cup of coffee, slightly creamy with a hint of bitterness on the end. Nothing horrible, but not worth drinking in its entirety. The walnut brownie was descent - a rich chocolate flavor with a mixture of a fudgy and cakey texture. The flavors continued to build in richness with continued enjoyment. The pistachio cherry tart was beyond disappointing. It was more of a bland, underbaked shortbread cookie with slight crunch from the pistachios without the pistachio flavor. The only time any other flavor was noticeable was with a bite of cherry - which was few and far between. For $25-30 for three items, I'd rather go to Panera with the exception of the atmosphere. Tatte does provide a nice, clean-girl aesthetic to the table. It's airy, open, and the set up of the tables and barstool areas really optimizes the space making the busiest times feel spacious. Either way, I'm in no hurry to return.

Yelp
Upscale Panera Bread, nice cafe vibe that's a bit overhyped. The food is subpar and not that memorable. It seems to be made in bulk quantities and reheated. With a display shelf with a galore of baked goods to choose from, I'm glad I went with the Chocolate Snail, it tasted like a cinnamon bun with chocolate filling. I wasn't a fan of the dense biscuit. After a couple of bites of the bland Biscuit Egg Sandwich, I threw in the towel and opted for the hearty Croissant sandwich, which was the superior choice. I didn't understand the side of marinated tomatoes with the Biscuit Egg Sandwich? ' The ginormous Croissant Sandwich is fully loaded with smashed avocado, arugula, tomato, and scrambled eggs (should have gotten eggs over hard) stuffed in a massive buttery croissant. The scrambled eggs didn't taste that fresh and probably made in a large batch rather than made-to-order. It was quite filling and a good brunch item. The Summer Lasagna was fine, it didn't taste that fresh and seemed to be under a heat lamp for some time. The lasagna was made well with a heap of veggies (zucchini, spinach) with a nice creamy corn and herb sauce. My hubby's Scrambled Egg and Proscuitto was okay, The Kale and Apple juice was a bit bitter. Given all the hype with so many new Tatte locations, the food doesn't seem to measure up. . I might come back for the Croissant sandwich and to try another baked goodie.

Yelp
Food was delicious and came out promptly. Ambiance was spacious, luminous from all the windows and open concept of the location. Service was prompt. You order first and then sit. Soup and breakfast croissant sandwich were both delicious. Got a pistachio croissant and it was good- could have been a little fresher but it wasn't bad. Will definitely come back to try out the coffee.

Yelp

Yelp
Ordered the Salmon and Avocado Tartine. So disappointed. Essentially a piece of toast with oil, tomatoes and some avocado. Salmon? Very little. When I kindly asked if they can add some salmon so that you actually have any protein with this meal... no help from the employee and the manager curtly replied ... "that is what you get ... we measure and it's 2 ounces" (it wasn't close and that amount is laughable). Clearly they prefer profit over customer satisfaction. I'll go elsewhere to pay $15+ for a piece of toast with some veggies topping it. My first true negative review of a Yelp experience this was that bad.

Yelp
It's been over a month since I was in Bethesda, MD for a work trip and I frequented this marvelous place which to this day, I dream of often! Food was of high quality. Baked goods were sublime and they consistently delivered on quality and freshness. Overall, service was good. This location was a walking distance from where I stayed and as soon as one goes in, the sight of all baked goods and even the open kitchen towards the back, just made for a happy place. Some of the faves I had were: *Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich with red onion slices, capers, alfalfa sprouts, and creamy scrambled eggs served on a housemade challah roll with green herbed dressing. *Roasted Pear, Granola & Labneh served with housemade granola over labneh, and drizzled with maple syrup. * Roasted Squash & Mushroom Farro Bowl. This is served warm with roasted acorn squash, button mushrooms, and arugula tossed with parsley relish served with ricotta goat cheese mousse and a poached egg. *Potato Leek Soup served with a roll There were several other pastries I tried and even brought home with me to California which they placed in a box and they loosely put paper on top to keep the pastries from moving around the box. This kept the pastries intact and everything was devoured by the family before I could take pictures. There was a good selection of merchandise as well. Would certainly love to try and discover every item on the menu.

Yelp
Had a bacon and egg sandwich with a cappuccino. The location is in downtown Bethesda so parking wasn't the greatest but easily accessible. The line was pretty long, but they had everyone order rather quickly which I appreciate and they had menus available so you can look at the menus before you get to the cashiers, the customer service was very nice and for that being my first time I definitely will go back. I definitely want to try their Matcha.
