Yelp
Tatte seems to be one of those hypes, and this location further confirms this.
All locations serve the same menu of an all-day breakfast, soups, salads, quiche, shakshuka, sandwiches, plates, and bowls.
We had a large group order from here, and it was a disaster.
I ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which was described as one of their most popular items - I opted for the sourdough instead of the challah, and it was supposedly filled with braised short rib, aged cheddar, and a horseradish beet relish - the bread was dry, there was hardly any beef, the braised ribs were dried out and had no flavor, not sure where the cheese was, and it seemed to be mostly chopped up beets, as there was no hint of horseradish. The sandwich was poorly prepared with poor ingredients, and this was tossed after having the bite spat out.
I also ordered a Cheese Boureka, and this was missing.
My other counterparts were missing their sides, their pastries, and/or their breads/rolls that accompanied their entrees.
How hard is it to just go through to ensure that all the items are included and accurate? How is this a bakery if the breads are not even right? It seems that these are continuous issues for this place, and they still have not addressed any of it.
Super disappointing, and such a waste.
