"Located in the historic Thorp building, this cocktail room/distillery is the perfect mix of classic and contemporary. From white whiskey to grapefruit crema, this is smoothness at its finest." - Windmill Design

Local Distilleries Are Building Big, Fresh, and New in Northeast Minneapolis | Eater Twin Cities
"I noticed that Tattersall in Northeast Minneapolis has launched an organic vodka made with organic corn supplied by farmer Jerome Walch of Four Sisters Farm — a choice co-founder Dan Oskey highlighted while criticizing mainstream brands that don’t actually distill their own spirits — and the organic vodka will retail for around $27, joining Tattersall’s lineup of rum, aquavit, gin, navy strength gin, rye and more; they’re celebrating the launch with a party at the distillery on Wednesday, January 29 with $15 tickets." - Joy Summers
Minnesota Distilleries Making the Best in Local Liquor | Eater Twin Cities
"Since opening its cocktail room in Tattersall in 2015, the gorgeous distillery has been the place to see and be seen. Tucked into a dock at the Thorp Building on Central Avenue, there is a speak-easy, secretive vibe to the location, but once you manage to traverse the parking lot, there’s a sprawling patio and an elegant yet funky cocktail room. Tattersall crafts an impressive list of spirits that seems to grow by the day. There’s gin, vodka, aquavit, a line of flavored liqueurs, rye, rum, and whiskey." - Joy Summers
Food was good but overpriced for what you get. I had the burger—it was cooked well and tasted great, just small for a $19 price tag. The Caesar salad was also solid. Portions overall felt light. The happy hour slider deal, though, is a much better value and worth coming for.

If you enjoy a well-made drink in a modern rustic environment, this place is for you.
The design and feel of this place really elevates the experience.
The drinks so far are exactly what I would want and expect. Great balance, but you can definitely tell that you had one.
My pizza was a perfect size for a hungry adult male, and the meat pizza was very tasty.
Will have to come back for more drink options since there are so many.

I came here a couple of times and love this place! They have good choices for their happy hour for both food and drinks. We came here for lunch during my last visit here and had the bacon fat-washed old fashioned that was on their seasonal menu, along with the lunch special sausage & mushroom pizza with a bowl of red bell pepper bisque soup. The food was phenomenal and so was the drinks.

We went out for Thanksgiving and overall the food and service were fine. I did want to mention three things. First the bill had an automatic tip added, which I wish had been communicated ahead of time. Second we were seated on the east side of the bar, high top tables. Next to us was the big window from the top all the way to the bottom of the floor. The sun was shinning directly in to the table next to us. There was a little girl that was putting her hands or her eyes for it was so bright. They were all trying hard to block the sun, I felt so bad for them. The whole table was effected by the sun and I can't imagine how they could enjoy their meal. It would really help if the restaurant would add shades or avoid seating people there during that time of day. And lastly the layout of the buffet is challenging. The food is located so far away from the dining area, which can be difficult for guests with mobility issues. My daughter has a prosthetic leg and the long walk returning for seconds more tiring then it should be. I imagine it would also be hard for the elderly guests or anyone with crutches. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes it helps make the dining experience more comfortable and accessible for everyone.

Love the atmosphere. Great drinks and food. Tried their Old Fashioned, Truffle Fries were excellent, Cheese curds, split a burger. Friends had a flat bread appetizer and beet salad. Everything was done very well. Shop the store for small bottles of their spirits to taste or gift.

I’ve been to Taco Bell locations with better service than this place. Our server only came by three times—once to take our order, then 20 minutes later when she admitted she had forgotten our order and never placed it, and finally to drop off the check. One of the wait staff actually brought our food. Nobody ever checked on how our meals or drinks were, and the burger came out overcooked. For the price the food was mediocre at best. The only redeeming factor was that the cocktails tasted good and the host staff were kind when seating us.

Had dinner here Friday, waitress gave us Lunch menus, finally got dinner. Steak was well done instead of medium. 1 friend got cheesey potatoes. They looked super good, my wife asked if she could get some, willing to pay extra. Could have been $10 or $15 extra for all she cared, she just wanted to try them. She was denied, be a bit before we go back...

The service has always been great when I have gone. I went for the opening (the best food), then a few months after (the food was not at all what it was compared to the grand opening) but went back recently and I was impressed with the food especially compared to the second time. The patio is fantastic and the drinks are great (not pictured).
The waygu was prepared perfectly and the salmon was amazing! Definitely the best entrees you can get in river falls. The seasonal cheesecake was also delicious! The wontons were really good as well.
The prices I think are pretty average and I felt was not over priced for what we got.
