"Tavern on the Park is a Downtown Chicago restaurant that overlooks Millennium Park. It was targeted after switching to Reserve in June 2017. The restaurant was previously using OpenTable since its opening in 2007. Co-owner Peter de Castro expressed frustration over the undermining tactics that affected their business, particularly with the series of no-show reservations that began in December and increased over time. These no-shows coincided with inquiries from OpenTable about Tavern's sales and attempts to convince them to switch back to their service." - Ashok Selvam

Loved this restaraunt. Its located across the street from the park. Views of the trees and some of Chicago's skyline. We wanted to sit outside upstairs to really enjoy the views, but it was closed due to weather. We shared a burger, Wedge Salad and I ordered the cup of French Onion Soup. Everything tasted great. The Ranch dressing was delicious. The French Onion Soup was the best I've had. Burger cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was intimate and cozy. Would definitely return.

Great food, wonderful location. We ate in the dining room, which was very cozy. Prime rib chili and the club sandwich we very tasty. Two people could split the club! Our waiter, Bill, was friendly and anticipated all of our needs. Good time.

Cool spot that seems to be very popular with businessman/businesswomen during lunch and after 5:00. The short rib sandwich was good, but a little salty for my taste. Service was good but not great. It was nice that we could check our bags there during lunch. The bar has lots of good beer on tap, so after 5:00 stop by, but it fills up quick.

Fantastic! Restaurant up the street was packed so we took a chance and made the right choice. Good selection of local beers. I had the blueberry frech toast and it turned out it was these huge and dense french toast logs. Picture does not do it justice. Was so good and filling! Nice friendly wait staff. Was here with a group and they all got other things, some breakfast, some lunch.

Great, friendly service and some awesome food too. I had the buffalo chicken and macaroni cheese, which was really good! Worth stopping in for lunch/dinner!

Low on options for vegetarian or vegans! Good service though a little slow. Excellent presentation of food. Good Ambience!

Was in Chicago in August for the Billy Joel concert at Wrigley field. Went here on Saturday night after sight seeing, and it was one of the most outstanding dining experiences I've had it a long time. Hand crafted specialty cocktails while you wait, a table on the roof, and the Chicago lights near Millenium park with an incredible meal. Would definitely make a point to return next time I'm in the area!

Cozy place for lunch, unique menu and excellent service. Their salmon is second to none. I recommend parmesan broccoli for the side. Best in the area.
