I've been here quite a few times, and normally it would have been a five star review every single time. Today, the service was a less than great experience. "Less than great" is nice, lol.
First, the food is great. Every time. Today I had the spaghetti pomodoro and bruschetta.
Unfortunately, I didn't care how good the food was because there were so many issues with the service. Trina was very nice but forgot what we ordered, then forgot to put in my appetizer (though she seemed to be blaming the kitchen, but then, again, couldn't remember what the appetizer was), barely checked on our table, didn't come by to get last orders before brunch ended, and wouldn't serve me another drink because brunch ended though I'm not sure what that had to do with me since the bar was still open.
I'm typically very very lenient with service, but was pushed over the edge after I paid and she returned without my debit card after charging it and then had to go searching for it around the restaurant floor. Could have very well been an off day, because these were strangely silly mistakes, but it absolutely ruined my experience today. I look forward to coming here so it was disappointing. We did express our frustrations in person, but of course it didn't change anything.
Just when we thought it was over, Trina took our parking ticket to validate it. After she confirmed that is was validated after we double checked (because at this point we felt the need to double check,) imagine out surprise when we try to leave and we had to pay because it wasn't validated at all. Is this punishment or what?!?
Good food, though.
