Tazal - Best Restaurant In Al Qana

Was here for the breakfast and totally loved it. The ingredients were especially fresh and we opted for the Tazal breakfast. But place has both indoor and outdoor seating with the outdoor seating overlooking the Al Qana Canal. Lovely spot! We were waited by Saima, Hisham and Hamza- very friendly and warm! Loved the hospitality. Must try arabian cuisine in abu dhabi.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Everything was perfect! Delicious dishes, clean environment, and very welcoming staff. Loved the food and atmosphere. Atmosphere was amazing with traditional old Arabic music, as well as fresh, flavorful dishes. Each dish had its own identity and distinct flavours. The service was also great, always attentive but a little short staffed. Comparing to the the number of diners present at the same time MashAllah I wish they had more servers. Special thanks to our server Said and Sam on making our visit special and also catering to our needs

Here in Abu Dhabi for a short stay. Took in The National Aquarium and ventured next door to Tazal Restaurant & Cafe. I researched the restaurant beforehand and was not disappointed. I can see why they were awarded a Michelin star as the ambiance, food and service by Sayed was unbelievable. Highly recommend to locals and tourists alike. Great value for the money but better yet, the staff understand what true customer service is. Thank you for a great experience. Shall return another time when visiting the UAE. Gordon H.

I visited this place a couple of days ago, and unfortunately, they completely ruined our experience. What made it even more disappointing is that I’ve tried this restaurant before and it was beyond amazing, which is why this visit came as a shock. This time, they didn’t even have very basic items. There was no English breakfast tea, no Moroccan tea, and no matcha all blamed on it being a “busy day” and that they had run out of everything. I then ordered a V60 and specifically asked for Colombian beans also unavailable. I switched to Ethiopian beans, which they claimed they had, but the coffee arrived 45 minutes later. When it finally came, it was without ice. Asking for ice took another 10 minutes, just to literally put ice into the pot. Unbelievable. Running out of multiple items, extremely slow service, and such poor attention to simple details is unacceptable, especially from a place that used to set a high standard. This visit was frustrating and far from the quality I experienced before. Sadly, this will make me think twice before coming back.

Had an amazing time at Tazal! We were celebrating something special and honestly couldn't have picked a better place. The vibe was just right, not too fancy but definitely felt special enough for our occasion. The staff were absolutely lovely. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Our server was great too, really made us feel taken care of without being pushy. We went a bit overboard with ordering but everything was so good! Got the lava mixed grill which was incredible, some pasta that hit the spot, chicken tenders and fries (sometimes you just need the classics!), saffron rice that was perfectly seasoned, and a quesadilla that disappeared way too quickly. Oh, and the passion mojito, wow, that was refreshing and exactly what I needed. The salad was a great addition, too. The whole experience just felt right, you know? Good food, great people working there, and the perfect atmosphere for celebrating. We were there for a couple hours and never felt rushed. Definitely coming back soon. If you're looking for a place that does good food with a nice atmosphere and friendly service, Tazal is your spot!
