This was overall a pleasant spot for a quiet Sunday brunch. Pleasant decor and a menu of elevate brunch plates. I went with the burger and it was a winner - the quality of the beef was top notch and it was perfectly cooked. My partner’s avocado toasted with poached eggs was also quite nice. Service was a bit lackluster and there were a couple of times it was hard to get the attention of our waiter. On the strength of the food though, I’d give this place another try.

Words can’t explain how disappointed I am in this establishment. My family and I come here often: whenever we don’t want to venture out into the city, after shopping in Manhasset, or if we need somewhere more quiet to host groups of friends. The food isn’t spectacular (it has a few highlights like the squid ink linguine though some dishes like the porterhouse needs work). But it still has a decent ambiance to bring guests to, especially when you’re tired of T-bar and the other options nearby. We came here on Mother’s Day weekend (May 10th) for dinner straight from home and left our car in valet. Usually we self-park when possible but it was too packed to do so. We left late at night after dinner going straight home, and the next day (Sunday) we saw that the back right wheel of our car was scratched by something green. I immediately called T-bar that night and they told me to call the valet service, who very unprofessionally blew up at me on the phone. Naturally, the valet service then informed me a week later that no one knows anything and hasn’t provided me any details of where our Porsche was parked or camera coverage. I literally have a time stamped snap of me unloading presents from the car right before we left for dinner that shows the vehicle was unscratched, and yet NO one has taken any responsibility or has had the decency to follow up. We immediately went back to talk to the manager who assured us he’d speak with the owner and give us a resolution. But it has now passed FATHERS DAY and all that has happened is them passing the ball to each other and telling us there’ll be an update next week. There’s still been no resolution OVER A MONTH — absolutely zero regard for their customers that come here regularly. They've completely failed to take responsibility when something went wrong under their watch. Until this is properly resolved, we won't be returning, and I'd strongly advise others to avoid or risk having your own vehicle damaged with no accountability.

Ambiance (5/5): The inside is a split level and opens into the back mezzanine and also has an upstairs. The decorations are ornate. It was a bit dark but cozy and not too loud that you can hear each other. Service (5/5): The service is wonderful; coat checks in the front. Kind and attentive staff. Timing of dishes were great. Water glasses were refilled often. Took a little time getting the bill paid but overall, great service. Food (4/5): We came here for restaurant week ($60 3-course meal) and asked to order everything as family style. By doing so, the staff was kind enough to provide us each plates and we helped ourselves when the dishes came. Table bread: They were soft and filled with olives but was super olive-forward Crispy Sushi (5/5): This was my favorite of the 3 appetizers. The spicy tuna was nicely seasoned and texture of the crispy rice was a unique bite. Tartare (4/5): The tuna was very fresh and lightly seasoned with soy and sesame. My only qualm was that it came with 2 pieces of bread. Angel Wings (4/5): This was such a unique presentation to your typical wings. The meat was tender but I felt that the tamarind glaze a bit too forward. Nevertheless, still good. Filet Mignon (+$25) (4/5): It was cooked perfectly to our requested medium-rare. They also kindly provided each of the 3 sauces (béarnaise being my favorite). I had wished that they seasoned the filet some more as it was pretty bland without the sauces. The mashed potatoes were smooth and had a slight butter taste. Chicken Milanese (4/5): While the exterior breading was done to a perfect crunch, the breading lacked flavor besides the butter it was fried in. Perhaps, the salad atop the chicken could have been dressed with something to balance out the tastes. Burger (4/5): The burger was beautifully seasoned and cooked to a medium as requested. The fries were cooked well done also as requested! The crunch was lovely but it lacked some flavor. The pickle was hardly pickled and more like a cucumber with some salt. The added cheese gave the burger a more savory finish. Banana Parfait (5/5): This was the star amongst the desserts (and probably of all the dishes!) Caramelized bananas are atop a bed of vanilla ice cream and caramel crust. The warmed bite was a welcomed balance to all the flavors. Strawberry Sundae (4/5): This was not overly sweet and the strawberry ice cream and flavors came through. The soft cream and cake was lovely. Molten Chocolate Cake (3/5): The cake was almost too bitter and not very sweet but was very rich. Perhaps the lack of flour compromised the texture.

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I loved it so much! First of all, the appetizers were amazing and delicious! Their pizza was amazing, their fried calamari was really good, and their rice balls were so delicious, and the bread for the table was really delicious! Second of all, the Eggs Benedict was so yummy and I would highly recommend getting the smoked salmon with it. I ordered a side of home fries which was really good too! Then for my dessert, I enjoyed a small cookie since I was really full. Overall, their food is really delicious and filling, and I would come back another day!

T BAR offers a chic and upscale dining experience with exceptional food, drinks, and service. The crispy chicken Milanese topped with a fresh salad was perfectly balanced, while the sushi platter and tuna tartar were flavorful highlights. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and refreshing. With its stylish ambiance and attentive staff, T BAR is perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommended!

This was a very clean place nestled in a good area of the city, the price is a tad high, but you get what you pay for. The food has PUNCH. The steak was flavorful. The focaccia bread was crusty and buttery. They use high-quality olive oil and the mac & cheese was made of some of the sharpest cheese I’ve had. If you’re looking for a mild average, cheap run-of-the-mill dinner, this is not the place, but if you’re hungry, and have been walking around the city all day and are in the mood for something filling 10/10

We have always enjoyed our meals at T-bar until tonight. Our water order was taken right away but the waitress never came by for our drink order, just came over for our meal order so drinks finally arrived half way through our first course. The first course was fine, the crab cake was very good and the chopped salad was good as well. The main courses were the problem. I ordered a burger medium, it arrived very bloody and very rare. I sent it back and it was returned now incredibly well done and dry. The roll on the burger was not good, way too big, chewy, sweet - could not be eaten and we could see it on the side of other diner’s plates as well. A burger needs a good bun! My husband ordered the branzino which he has ordered many times, it had a strange smell so it was sent back and replaced with salmon which was fine but this has never happened before. Too many issues for one meal and not inexpensive - hope it was just an off Monday night and that this doesn’t mean that T-bar is headed downhill. Very disappointed.
