"Tea House Chinese is a spacious, dimly lit Chinese restaurant on Deptford High Street that’s equally as good for a big family meal (thanks to the deep booths), as it is for a solo midweek dinner when it’s quieter (the dumplings pair well with Netflix). The dim sum isn’t the best we’ve had, and some dishes like smashed cucumber don’t quite hit the spot. But if you’re looking for a good-value, comforting meal in the area, Tea House Chinese is a safe bet. You should know that they serve things like Shanghai stir-fried noodles, soy chicken, and hot pots. The Crab Roe Soup Dumplings are bursting with flavor, the Vietnamese Rolls are light and refreshing, and the Cantonese Stir-Fried Pork is perfectly savory with a hint of spice. Don’t miss the crispy yet tender Roast Duck or the fragrant Radish Cake. Great value for such amazing taste!

Definitely a hidden gem in East London!! I love eating Dim Sum and they serve some delicious dim sum here! I highly recommend their roasted duck and all kinds of dim sum, simply tastes amazing! Their desert is a must try as well!!

This place is a gem for authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine! The dishes are incredibly flavorful, and everything we tried was spot-on. Highly recommend the tofu hot pot and dim sum – they were absolutely delicious! The service is fast, and the food arrives piping hot. With so many options on the menu, you’ll want to come early to avoid missing out. A must-visit for anyone craving a true taste of Hong Kong!

I discovered Tianfu Master near Deptford during a weekend trip to Greenwich Market, and it’s a gem! They serve both Cantonese dim sum and Sichuan dishes, offering tons of variety. 🦆 We couldn’t resist ordering the BBQ trio – roast duck, char siu, and soy sauce chicken – all juicy and full of flavor. The dim sum is authentic and affordable at around £5 per dish; crispy shrimp rolls and pan-fried turnip cake are must-tries. The Sichuan options like Twice-Cooked Pork and Kung Pao Chicken were spicy, delicious, and very satisfying. Spacious, tasty, and even has KTV – perfect spot for groups!

This place is highly recommended. One of the best Chinese foods I have had . I recommend the Shichuan grand cumin Lamb strips and the Barbecued lamb. They are amazing and have a very large quantity, I was over full. I'm sure most people of African or Caribbean descent would love the Shichuan grand cumin Lamb strips because it tastes exactly like African 'suya' meat and it's quite spicy. The atmosphere is cosy, a good place to have a meal with family, friends , partner or a date.
