Teatro Restaurant Debuts Inside the Adrienne Arsht Center | Eater Miami

"Inside the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House on the second floor, I found Teatro Restaurant — a new 2,500-square-foot dining room from Constellation Culinary Group (the team behind Verde at the Perez Art Museum, the Restaurant at the Norton Museum of Art, Food@Science at Frost Science, and Bistro at the Sarasota Art Museum) — designed by Johanna Dilone with red decor that evokes traditional theater curtains and positioned as a go-to spot for elegant pre-show meals. The menu, led by executive chef Jose Danger in collaboration with corporate executive chef Aaron Janus, blends American dishes with European and Latin influences and offers a $52 prix-fixe covering appetizers, entrées, desserts, and sides. Highlights include the red carpet carpaccio, risotto carbonara, piri piri brick chicken, the steak and potato (with an option to upgrade to a 12-ounce NY strip), and slow-cooked lamb osso bucco; for the sweet-toothed, the chai coconut panna cotta and Key lime meringue tart are standouts. The bar features beers, wines, and signature cocktails like an espresso martini, plus an à la carte bar menu with chilled pickled mussels with crostini, shrimp cocktail, and main-menu selections such as the steak tartare “Big Mac” and the “BackStage” burger. Teatro will initially open for select performances in the Ziff Ballet Opera House or Knight Concert Hall; reservations are recommended, though walk-ins may be accommodated, and more details or reservations are available at Arshtcenter.org/teatro." - Olee Fowler

Loved the experience of arriving early to a show, and eating here. The service is fantastic, the food very good, as well as the cocktails. Everything is streamlined for the experience and the price/quality for Miami is great. We reserved 1 hour before showtime, which was enough for a good experience, but recommend 1:15h or 1:30h before.

One more time, Teatro WAS AMAZING. It is - hands down - the BEST option when you have tickets to a show. The convenience, the menu, the great availability as above all: the service! Every time we have gone, service was impeccable. This past Sunday 12/28, Sasha was on point !! Her assertiveness and kindness was greatly appreciated. Thank you again and we look forward to visiting every time we have tickets. Happy New Year 2026

Excellent food and service and it was so convenient to go to before a show at the Arsht. We will be back!

What a wonderful way to start a beautiful night out at the Arsht! It was my first time going to Teatro and I was skeptical upon reading so many negative reviews but had a wonderful experience. Whoever is saying $55 is not a good deal for a delicious appetizer and main course in a beautiful serviced restaurant conveniently located in a theater steps away from your show must not get out much these days or just living in the past…it’s extremely difficult to find this kind of pricing in a nice downtown/Brickell restaurant. I also think the menu, although prix fixe, has tons of options. Our experience started off wonderful from the start with the amazing service from Laticcia. I came in already a bit a stressed because the metromover got delayed so we were almost 15 minutes late to our reservation. Laticcia immediately put my mind at ease assuring me service was very quick as they’re mindful of the show time and we had plenty of time. And she was right! I really appreciated Laticcia’s enthusiasm for recommending me various dishes, as I was torn between a lot of the options. She was very smart to recommend my husband and I both get an appetizer to try more appetizers and instead buy a dessert additionally and share it. The perfect amount of food. We had the shrimp and the tamale appetizer, both amazing! I chose to have the steak and my husband had the pasta dish. Both delicious! I also see complaints about the portioning of the food - I found the portions to be perfectly acceptable and was not hungry at all. It wouldn’t make sense to have giant portions resulting in leftovers since you’re going to a show immediately after. The bread pudding was our choice for dessert and it was beautifully presented with a little boat to pour the sauce over. One surprising thing from the meal was the bread - it was so delicious and perfectly salted! I could have eaten four of them! I also really appreciated the decor - a beautiful homage to the theater both in the ambiance but even the menu had a beautiful theater motif. I was very surprised to see so many people coming in with less than an hour before the show, some even 30 minutes before showtime! The restaurant definitely started to pick up very shortly before showtime and servers got noticeably stressed. Please be mindful of your servers and try to come at a reasonable time before the show. They are working very quickly, but they and the kitchen are not superhuman and not giving enough time to be served will also downgrade the quality of service and possibly the food. Overall, I absolutely recommend Teatro and am shocked by the negative reviews! The food is portioned appropriately, priced appropriately for the area and convenience, delicious with so many options, and service was exceptional. I’ve already made our next reservation for when we see the musical in Chicago!

I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. Our server Coral was super polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure the experience was a memorable one. We tried to special entree for the play we were there to see and it did not disappoint. It was actually way more than I anticipated in terms of portion size. After we finished our meal we sat at the bar, i did not get the young ladie's name that was bartending but she was very friendly (tall, blonde). She made the drinks well. Perfect dining before a show. I will definitely be back.

Google
Very good attention, attitude, service care from smiling and efficient Hostesses, Bar tender lady, Coral and jorge Diego. Food is probably from a ghost kitchen, industrially made not horrible, not great, nicely presented. The best is the brioche bread. Wine by the Glass is on the beverage cost side... The atmosphere is pretty and a great theme decor for a show night. Quality Vs price...Hum, Miami. Not too many other possibilities nearby, walking distance. OVERALL, it is great because you will not be late at the show... would we do it again... 🤔 no.

Google
The price for the Prix Fixed menu was actually great. Service was superb and we made it to our concert in no time. Just be sure to give yourself about an hour and a half before you see any show. 😇🥰

Really enjoyed our brunch today before we saw Hamilton at the Arsht Center. The food was delicious. Our waitress, Sasha, was friendly and efficient. Every staff member had a smile and made sure you were happy and taken care of.

Yelp
I've dined here before a few different shows and have always had an amazing dinner. There are usually some fun drinks themed with whatever show is playing. The menu is prix fixe and reasonably priced--I recommend ordering two appetizers if you're coming as a couple and adding on dessert. The smoked fish dip has a crazy presentation--comes out in a bell jar filled with smoke! Everything we had was tasty. Service is very quick--at the end you may find yourself waiting for the check, though I think this is by design as they don't turn over the tables. Your table is yours all night, so think of it as your private pre-show lounge! Really don't understand the negative reviews for this place. I love it.

Yelp
Out of the whole 2025 Broadway season, I finally made it to Teatro on the last show! While the room is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent the menu felt a little limited. I did my research and knew what to expect in regard to the prefixed menu but still had a hard time narrowing something down. We listened to our server's recommendation and one of us chose an appetizer, the other chose dessert. We started with the smoked salmon dip that came out with a theatrical smoked lid, and styled with caviar. It was a little salty for my liking, as if it had finishing salt on top or something. Then onto our mains which was braised short rib and steamed carrots and the skirt steak with truffle potatoes. The star of the show was the guava bread pudding!! Although we did enjoy our meal and experience, I would most likely return once they rotate the menu as the items available are good, but not worth repeating imo!

Yelp
Tania our server was fantastic, she was very friendly and had great recommendations. This is a very cool place to dine when going to the Arsht for a show. The venue is very trendy, it gives cruise vibes. The cesar salad was so good, the steak was perfectly cooked but could have used a little more flavor, but overall very good. I didn't realize it was a pre-fix menu, I wish they would have had more options.

Yelp
The restaurant within the Adrienne Arscht Center. They say service in a restaurant makes all the difference and this place is no exception. I wish I remembered our server's name but she was such a gem. Came with friends on a Saturday to catch the 2pm showing of the Nutcracker. Parking is super hard to get in this area and we originally planned to park around the arts center and go downtown somewhere to eat, but with the struggle of parking, we ended up eating at the Arscht Center so we wouldn't run late to the show. After entering, the staff pointed us in the direction of the restaurant on the second floor of the Ziff Ballet Opera House. The elevator for this restaurant leads straight to it and we were able to dine without a reservation. They recommend dining with them at least 2 1/2 hours before your show be we did this within an hour and half and it was fine. We were one of the first to dine there for lunch and it's a 2-course prix fixe menu. It is on the pricier side, which was expected but it was also well worth it in my opinion. You can choose either an app & entree or entree & dessert. Since there was three of us, we got a little bit of everything. The Thai Coconut Curry mussels & Smoked Salmon Dip were a hit with us. For entrees, their carbonara risotto & brunch burger were great. The interior is elegant and such a great spot for date night (or date day). They set the mood with all red interior and beautiful decor. It really feels like a treat dining here before a show!

Yelp
BEAUTIFUL restaurant. I could not stop looking at the decor of this place! Especially the ceiling and lights! Decided to visit here with friends before a 2pm Nutcracker show at the Adrienne Arscht Center. We're transported up an elevator to this restaurant conveniently located on the 2nd floor of the Arscht Center. This restaurant offers a fixed menu, where you choose 1 appetizer + 1 entree or 1 entree + 1 dessert for the same price (drinks not included). We came during the brunch menu, but we were told there is a dinner menu as well. Our waitress was very pleasant and made our experience visiting even better. The food is flavorful and with adequate portions so you're not feeling the tired and stuffed during the show. 10/10 would recommend! My favorite is a close tie between the smoked salmon dip and the Thai coconut curry mussels. A must try!

Yelp
This is the new in-house restaurant at Arsht Center and what a great addition! It's so hard to find a good place to eat around here and make it to the concert on time, so to have this place right inside Arsht Center for pre-show dinner is incredibly convenient. They have a pre-fixe menu for $52 where you can choose one appetizer and one entree or one entree and one dessert, which is a great deal. And your food comes out in minutes so no need to worry that you won't have time to eat and get to your show. I ordered the lamb osso bucco, which was delicious and topped it off with the flourless chocolate mousse, which was perfect. Great glass of Merlot. Service was prompt and very friendly. The staff, servers, and manager are all incredibly warm and kind. Beautiful space with a bit of glam. It's located on the second floor of the ballet building. And you can take the bridge right from the restaurant to get over to Knight Center, so you don't need to go downstairs to cross the street.

Yelp
This restaurant is a nice addition to the Adrienne Arsht Center. Beautifully decorated to match the opera, the restaurant is very inviting and warm. The service staff was quick and friendly. I'm knocking off one star because the menu they present you with is prix fixe and won't let you order anything from it à la carte. They provide you a separate menu with 5 measly appetizers to choose from and that's it. We didn't want to dine a full meal before a show, and just wanted to order 2 appetizers to share. From the a la carte menu we did choose, the charcuterie board was small and frankly pitiful for $25 but our other appetizer was good (knocked off another star). Overall the service and ambience was great but they could definitely improve in the aforementioned areas.

Yelp
What a terrible experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. 55 dollars per person plus automatic 20% gratuity no matter the size of your party for frozen food that was NOT prepared very well or any idea of flavor. I should have known this was going to be a bad idea by the plastic stemware on the table. Our server was a delight, offered suggestions and checked in with us often. The restaurant itself looks like it should be serving Chinese food. Whomever is in charge of running this restaurant should resign and close the doors, you are ripping people off with overpriced bad food.

Yelp
Just left the restaurant and that was the first and last time for our family. The risotto was uncooked rice swimming in soup. The potatoes was undercooked. The chicken was dry. The tamal was very dry. The steak was raw instead of medium. Very underwhelming. Not to mention to inflated price for the mediocre food. I regret coming here. Save yourself your time and money. I left hungry despite paying $281 for a family of 4. We order 4 meals and 4 water.

Yelp
We went to the bar for drinks and appetizers before seeing Pretty Woman last month. The ambiance is just perfect for a pre theatre meal or cocktail. I had the Vivian cocktail, shrimp cocktail and salmon dip. The restaurant will feature special drinks to go with the theme of whatever is playing so it's a really fun and unique experience. I totally recommend Teatro if you arrive early enough before the show.

Denys A.

Yelp
If you're going to a performance at the Arsht Ctr this is the best restaurant. It's not only for the convenience, but the food is delicious, the ambiance transport you the event and excellent service, even at the bar, Leila the bar tender, went above & beyond to make it a special evening.

Yelp
Server was great. Very attentive! Food was horrible! Fish dip way too smoky. Presentation had good hopes but it was a whipped smoked dip. No fish. Steak was an up charge to Delmanco - fatter than an elephants butt!!! Having to spilt out pieces is not what an upcharge is meant to be. $175 and regret it. Oh and tip is automatically included.

Yelp
As a Christmas gift our son got us tickets for the matinee for the Cher Show. We decided it'd be a nice treat to have brunch at the restaurant inside The Arsch Center , and boy did we hit it right 100%. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, very old Hollywood, the decor is exquisite. The food is delicious too. They offer a prefix menu which is perfect in order to make the show on time, yet we did not feel rushed. We ordered a pastry basket that had very refined and delicious pastries. As our entrées we chose the French omelette with caviar and crème fresh, that was amazing as well. Their bar also has very good options for cocktails and wine as well. None of this will have completed the positive experience if it hadn't been for the excellent service provided by our server Marcus. This pre-show dining experience was a great way to start the new year.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Manager Armando exceptional. He is an attention to details guy. Server and Bartender Ila was amazing as was the food. The salmon, tamal stuffed with braised smoke short rib amazing and the key lime pie was to die for.

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best culinary experiences of my life. The service was impeccable. The food was magnificent, sensual, beautiful, and food-gasm worthy. The atmosphere was beautiful and the decor perfect. Lighting, ambience, and an exquisite menu. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Perfect pre-show dinner. I dined here last month and going again tonight before the ballet. My dining companions and I chose the appetizer plus entree. Service was attentive and on time, for us to make our 7:30 show. The dishes were perfectly cooked and good portions. Also, great decor. Very dramatic with all of the red. I forget what the space looked like before the remodel, but then too it was a great space. Looking forward to tonight. There really isn't much competition in the area, given that a lot is under construction for the highway, and the area is only starting to develop into a destination.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The Cobb Salad is a chopped salad with a tangy dressing, the Piri Piri chicken was flavorful and well seasoned, and the Warm Chocolate Mousse was a show stopper! The service was impeccable and we were well attended to. The beautiful red decor was stunning and made for the perfect ambiance for a pre-show dinner. We will be back!

Brandon P.

Yelp
Food was over priced and unspectacular Steak and potatoes (potatoes ok, steak cheap cut of meat) Coconut Mussels -as blah as blah can be Fish dip-pasty and the chips are right out of a cape cod bag Risotto-was ok. Shrimp was tough. Chocolate moose-probably the best thing of the night Went to see the Nutracker that was amazing by the way, this was supposed to be a happy connivence, it was anything but.

Misae G.

Yelp
Reserved for 5:30 one hour after opening. When we went to order the lamb was already sold out! Hmm one hour into opening. That set me up for a major disappointment. Had the salmon instead and the kale/Brussels cesar salad. I found the meal to be a little over salty. The server was very nice after having us wait a bit to even meet her. All in all I don't think I'd return. They have you hostage being the only restaurant in the immediate area. Can't wait until they have more choices in the area. Perhaps then they will step it up and keep a good inventory on their best meal on hand all night. It's not as if they're not open just that one night. Very disappointing.
