Ted's Bulletin - Noma

This is my second time at Ted’s and this location. The first time was for our honeymoon and this next time was for our anniversary. We loved it so much the first time we had to come back. The calamari is IMMACULATE! The food is always amazing. The service is always amazing. No reservation was needed because it was a weekday but I do recommend setting a reservation up anyway. Absolutely amazing again and thank you everyone !

Quinn was an amazing server who was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and its popular dishes. When I say incredibly attentive, an example would be when she was about to approach my partner and I at our table but she saw him flip a page and knew that we weren’t ready. It’s small details like that where it can make a dinner all the more better. We gave her a tip and I hope she gets more. As for the atmosphere, it was amazing! Music was at the right volume, where we were able to have a conversation at a normal volume while being able to enjoy the music. Additionally, whoever was on that aux on the night of the 27th, also deserve their round of applause. Lastly, food was amazing and I believe reasonably priced. I’m not from the area but if I were a local, I’d definitely be a regular!

The restaurant is gorgeous!! The staff was all pleasant and helpful. The turnover of tables were fast and efficient making the wait time super fast. The food was delicious!!! It was so good we went back the next day. The experience continued to be amazing. I can’t wait to return to DC for Ted’s!

Long day playing tourist. Staying in NoMa... Great spot! Happy Hour was a blast. That happy hour chicken and fries were delish. Cocktails are creative and tasty. Burger was the star IMO. Would visit again! Great service. Fun vibe.

Ted's was conveniently located a few doors down from the Washington Marriott Capitol Hill. It offered outdoor seating under a covered awning for shade from the sun & rain. Ted had an extensive lunch & dinner menu but also an all-day breakfast menu with very generous portions. They serve everything from pancakes, French toast, artisan sourdough toast, eggs in a variety of options including a Crab Cake Benedict & Norway Benedict. The turmeric ginger juice was refreshing & healthy. Service was attentive & fast even during peak times. Will definitely go back the next time in the area to try other menu items.

Happy with our brunch spent at Ted’s. Showed up at 8am and there was hardly anyone there, just a few early birds. They happily stored our luggage while we dined, which was nice. We each ordered separate coffee (cortado and latte respectively) which both were good for a restaurant quality standards. Our meals were excellent. I ordered the Turkish eggs and the depth of the eggs mixed with the yogurt was new for me. Great dill and Chile flavorings mixed throughout, topped with freshly baked bread that worked great with it all. My girlfriend ordered papas bravas she was happy with it, noting that all the ingredients were fresh and great tomato flavor. Would definitely come back here. Great ambiance and staff.

Came here with my boyfriend for a date and we both loved it! The food was delicious, not too expensive, and came out in a timely manner. Our server was very kind, understanding, and answered any questions. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was great. Overall 10/10 experience and will visit again next time we’re in DC!

Great street corner upscale bar and diner! I was alone. I had great service, a fantastic breakfast burrito and finally one of the best negronis I've ever had. Great atmosphere and plenty of traffic.

Leonel at the barista counter is always so great, I became a regular because of him! Highly recommend the steak and cheese sandwich.

The food and service were so amazing that we went twice in a row for dinner. Roxanne and Quinn were AMAZING servers.. we were so well taken care of! Managers came over a few times further meal to make sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing.. but the staff and service was superb. We will definitely return on our next trip to DC

Ted's Bulletin - NoMa, Washington, DC Rating: 7/10 Ted's Bulletin has become my go-to spot for breakfast about 75% of the time. The food is consistently good and always tastes fresh -- especially in the mornings. I've tried dinner here a few times, and honestly, it's hit or miss. Depending on what you order, the freshness can vary, and I've found that breakfast items served later in the day just don't taste quite the same. Now, let's talk about what really keeps me coming back -- the cinnamon rolls. They're only available on weekends and usually sell out early Saturday and Sunday mornings, so if you want one, you've got to get there fast. These rolls are dense, soft, and perfectly spiced with cinnamon. What I love most is that the frosting comes on the side, so you can control how much sweetness you want. Whenever I have family visiting from out of town, Ted's Bulletin is one of the first places I take them for breakfast. A solid breakfast joint that is still relatively new to the area. Friendly service and relatively affordable (given the high-end area). I definitely recommend the hash browns and the biscuits and gravy were okay.

Definitely my go-to brunch spot! This was my third time at Ted's Bulletin and everything was delicious (as always)! The service is quick without feeling rushed, the coffee drinks (did someone say Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte?) are delicious, and the food is a great mix of brunch classics at their best. And the serving sizes are liberal so I always get to take home left overs Can't wait to go back!

This spot is so delicious. The raspberry Bellini is 10/10. The apple tart tasted like a combo of a toaster streusel and an apple pie, and I would definitely order it again. The entrees were also delicious. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Definitely recommend stopping by this place for brunch!

When we arrived for our lunch reservation, the hostess greeted us immediately upon entering the restaurant. The ambiance inside was elegant yet dimly lit. Since it was a perfect day for outdoor dining, we requested a table outside. The outdoor seating area was crowded; however, we were seated at a table at the far end of the patio. Our waiter took our beverage order, and we chose bottled water for the table. He returned promptly with the water, and we then placed our food order, which included tacos with Mexican street corn, a grilled chicken wrap, and truffle fries. The food arrived quickly, within ten minutes or less, and everything looked amazing. The tacos were flavorful, fully assembled, and required no additional toppings. While the street corn had the typical flavor, I found it to be quite soupy. The consistency was not what I expected, but the taste remained unaffected. The grilled chicken wrap was perfect, and the fries were well-cooked and seasoned with truffle oil. Our waiter was efficient but not very interactive. He took our orders, checked in on us once, cleared the table, and brought the check. Overall, it was a good experience. I appreciated the location; the restaurant was nice, and parking was convenient.

Decided to stop by for happy hour. I was saddened to learn that the $10 burger and fries was no longer a thing. So, I instead tried the szechuan chicken. It was pretty good. I don't know if it is always this way, but the fried chicken tasted a bit burnt, almost like it was fried in dirty oil, but besides that it was still tasty and edible. I liked it, it had a good amount of kick to it. I also order the fried mac and cheese which was nice. It came on a platter of marinara sauce. The sauce was a little warm, I wish it was hotter. But they were still good.

Wow! What a place, service, plates, ambiance, value; LOVED IT! Menu is extensive thus they have something for everyone. Everything I tried was delicious flavor and visually fantastic. My server Jack was spot on. Checking in frequently in a friendly way. Never skipped a beat on needs. Superb service. Great location in NOMA area.

After they asked me to call about this bad experience, the lady that answered the phone said that they were too busy to discuss the experience! They would "get back to me later". A lot of noise in the background during Monday mid day so clearly I am correct about it being loud and hectic there. Not my jam. Since they don't have the time for my family and I, I don't have the time for them. I wouldn't have called if I didn't still have interest in going to a Ted's. Poor management and staff training here clearly. It's clear that "customer S" is just a random person that doesn't really have an organized system to manage diner's issues while communicating with them. You basically have to talk to a random employee on the phone, then a random manager on duty at the time, and no real policy for handling complaints other than liking like they care online. No way to reach corporate beyond starting another random email thread that probably goes no where. Skip this location unless you care for busy atmosphere and bad training and management while dining. Too bad my favorite breakfast in dc is so poorly managed but give up.

We popped into Ted's Bulletin in NoMa on a Sunday afternoon with no reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service from start to finish... warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Now for the food... Lobster Mac & Cheese: LOADED with lobster (like, not just a sprinkle--actual chunks!) and baked to creamy, cheesy perfection. A must-order. Jalapeño Popper Wontons: These were to die for. Perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of kick, and that cilantro lime ranch dipping sauce? Elite. Homestyle Meatloaf: I was not expecting to be blown away by meatloaf, but here we are. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and served with glazed carrots and mashed potatoes that were giving comfort food excellence. Ted's Burger with Caesar Salad: Classic and cooked just the way we asked. Juicy and flavorful. We wrapped things up by sharing a slice of carrot cake for dessert... and let's just say it did not last three minutes at the table. Moist, rich, and the perfect sweet ending. If you're in the NoMa area and want a spot with great vibes, amazing service, and food that actually delivers on flavor -- Ted's Bulletin is it.

We were seated right away for our reservation. Beautifully decorated space. Our waitress (starts with G) washed super friendly and so efficient. She took our drink orders and suggested the cinnamon roll. What a great suggestion! Next came our entrees and everything was delicious. Eggs perfectly poached, potatoes golden and crispy. This meal was the perfect start to a day sightseeing in the District.

The avocado toast was absolutely amazing! Super tasty, the fresh herbs made the toast stand out and the Avacado was super creamy. The smoked salmon was a perfect addition, I'd literally continue to come back here to order this again for breakfast!

Great food! From the coffee to the cinnamon roll, which was HUGE! Enough for a table of 4 to share. I highly recommend the crab crakes. Great service from our waitress. We sat outside on a chilly day, personal mistake lol. On a warmer day, it would have been perfect. I'll definitely be back on trips to DC & maybe try inside or at the bar.

Back again for dinner. Yesterday I reviewed this establishment for breakfast and rated it 4. I decided to try it for dinner today. After being seated promptly, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was happy hour. At first glance, $10 burger and fry combo seemed like a great deal. I ordered it along with the side salad with avocado vinegarette. First of all, salad was delicious. Dressing was great and croutons were crunchy. Burger came and it knocked my socks off. Double patty with some of the most delicious fries I've had. The value you get for a $10 special is second to none. I will be back for sure for this special.

This is a solid Ted's location. We arrived as a group for lunch and were seated immediately upon arrival. I believe someone from the group made a reservation on our behalf, but there was a little bit of a weekday lunch rush, so would recommend a reservation if you can. Especially given how close it is to the hill and offices. We ordered many dishes to share as a group and they were all great! Special shout out to the Mac and cheese (great portion and taste), steak and fries, and the Confit Shiitake Hash. But you can't go wrong with the menu. And of course, we also had a few Ted's tarts all of which were delicious. Service was also super great and efficient. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

This restaurant was a walking distance from our hotel which was really convenient. It has a spacious and inviting entrance and the hosts were pleasant and immediately sat us at a table for two. You can immediately tell the place was busy on a Friday afternoon. Lots of conversations happening at various tables but noise level was bearable. Our server, Christa S., informed us that we had 7 minutes to put in our order for their Happy Hour specials. That was really nice of her to prompt us so we can get $3 off Starters. We enjoyed the Jalapeño Popper Wonton which was served with cilantro lime ranch and the Crispy Calamari with pepperoncini aioli. Their menu had a lot of good things to offer. I decided to try their Avocado Toast with a generous portion of smoked salmon. It was like comfort food for me with two poached eggs that came with two sizeable slices of sourdough bread with smashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, radish, pickled chiles, fried garlic, microgreens and cilantro tossed in lime juice. I had unflavored Iced Tea and Christa provided me a refill. My friend had the Ted's Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken. The salad came with a good amount of bacon lardons, tomato, deviled eggs, pickled onions, avocado, gorgonzola cheese on a bed of lettuce and cilantro lime ranch dressing on the side. We will definitely be back!

I was craving brunch and a bloody Mary!! One of my favorite brunch items is the salmon Benedict! We came on a Friday morning around 10:30 AM with Lil to no weight at all. Our server was knowledgeable, and courteous to us while accommodating my husband's many changes to his order. It got pretty busy however, the flow of the restaurant remained calm, cool and collected. At least two general managers approached us to ask how our dining experience was going, and I appreciated that. I love the spin off to the traditional Benedict. Because I like to eat gluten-free, I enjoyed the Benedict with hash brown instead of English muffin. My egg was poached perfectly, some restaurants get this wrong often. My husband was so full he couldn't finish his food at all. He ordered the chicken biscuits which were fried and seasoned perfectly. The biscuits were fluffy and delicious along with the pancakes. Our matching bloody Marys were the perfect addition to complete our meal! L We live in California but we will return!!

Ted's is always great for lunch. Every dish I've tried it has never disappointed. Today I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap and it was delicious. The wrap was packed and very flavorful. Ted's customer service and atmosphere is always top tier and I will continue to visit.

We had a great business dinner here. The space wasn't too loud despite being full, which allowed us to hold a productive conversation without yelling or reserving a private space. The food, especially the Green Goddess Salad, was light and fresh, and the addition of the grilled chicken made the dish complete. The seasonal house "tart" crumbled in the mouth without falling apart en route, and the fruit to wrapper ratio was perfect. The service was prompt, friendly, and efficient without being intrusive. I definitely need to come back for the boozy milkshakes...

This location is VIBEZ! The ambiance is always a mood! The noise levels aren't too high. The staff is attentive and welcoming (depending on the day) and the food was great per usual! There's always space at the bar and available seating! This is my neighborhood location so I'll definitely be going back! The capital hill and 14th street locations are terrible so I'm glad this one opened and is doing a great job!

Service is always so kind, and I have yet to eat something I don't like (and I'm always so impressed with serving sizes- the s'mores milkshake pictured here is one shake split into two glasses!). And I love love love all their baked goods! It gets busy in here so you may want to make a reservation.

Great service from hosts and waitstaff on a busy morning. Every item was great, as usual. Love the all-day breakfast. Eggs were correctly over medium and poached. Hash browns were crispy, bacon and sausage was crispy. Coffee and iced tea were great and did not need sweetener. We got to sit in covered patio outside. The inside decor is tasteful and chic. Thanks again for consistent quality food and pleasant team!

I'm sad to write this because my food was actually good. I came here to meet a loved one from out of town for a weekend brunch, and I was really looking forward to it. I'm a college student, and I just needed a few minutes to look over the menu before ordering. My server today, an older man, seemed upset and said, "Five minutes, really?" I brushed it off at first and assumed he was just being witty. When it was time to pay, my loved one and I split the check. My loved one left a tip, and I didn't since we had separate bills. As we were getting ready to leave, the server cornered me and whispered in my ear, "Just so you know, your drink wasn't my tip," implying that my $6 latte wasn't a substitute for one. I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say. I left feeling pressured, uncomfortable, and honestly a bit disrespected. It's disappointing because the food was good, but I won't be coming back after that experience.

Iced cinnamon toast crunch latte, need I say more? Teds is a staple in our neighborhood and the city. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is always spectacular, and every time I've been, I'm never disappointed. Not to mention, this location is beautiful.

We had a fantastic breakfast at Ted's Bulletin! Our party of 7 walked in at 9 AM and were seated right away with no wait, which was a great start. Our hotel was just a quick 10-minute drive away making it super convenient. From the moment we walked in, the hostess and server were both warm and welcoming setting a great tone for our meal. The breakfast menu had so many great options that it was hard to choose! I had a cappuccino which was delicious and shared breakfast with the hubs. The highlight? Their homemade pop tart was absolute perfection! One thing I loved is that breakfast is served all day, so you can enjoy it anytime. My kids, however, had other plans and chose pasta from the kids' menu for breakfast--because why not? The vibe was cozy and inviting making it a spot I'd definitely visit again. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast in the area!

Ted's was a great experience. Very attentive staff even with as busy as it was! They made sure I had everything I needed and checked to see if I had any issues with food or anything. Modern restaurant and very clean! Food was amazing lobster bisque that had plenty of chunks of lobster, and a the chicken Caesar wrap was enormous and flavorful! Very good!

Caesar wrap fell apart and was soggy bc of watery dressing. A wrap is supposed to be relatively portable so if it's falling apart at its seams............... beware

First off, the ambiance of this Ted's was gorgeous. However, I'm super perturbed that there was a service charge added to my bill and I wasn't notified when I signed it (it was done on a handheld machine, and they didn't give me a read out and I felt weird asking). Now for the food. The almond latte was delicious, and for brunch I got the chicken and biscuits and sausage gravy. The fried chicken was delicious, as was the biscuit. The gravy tasted good too but was a bit salty. I loved the hash browns- they were crispy and good. For dessert I shared the Cinnabon bun with some friends. Yes, it was large and looked really cool on the table but I was actually disappointed with it. I found it kind of dry. I'd try this spot out again for the ambiance, fried chicken, and latte. Don't forget to make a reservation!!

Ted's Bulletin nails it -- cozy vibes, big portions, and a menu stacked with comfort classics. The French toast is dreamy, the chicken & waffles hit the spot, and those famous "Ted Tarts" are pure nostalgia. Service is warm, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Don't miss the gravy and biscuits, and whatever you do, grab the cornbread sticks -- they're addictive.

This restaurant originally drew me in due to their pop tarts hanging in the front window. I had no idea how many breakfast options they had! I ended up ordering the confit shiitake hash which was delicious! Honestly, they made the shiitake so well that I thought I was eating meat! The truffle Mac & cheese balls were not as truffle-ly as I would have liked and they were pretty dry inside. Also, it's not marked as vegetarian on the menu and no one could answer why so that was a bit fustrating. The pop tart was great but super sweet! Definitely a little treat to enjoy from time to time. The Halloumi salad was delicious and filling! Service was also quick despite the Sunday brunch rush. I would definitely return!

I just had the best meatloaf dinner I have ever had. Four choices of Bloody Mary flavors only added joy to my meal. The deviled eggs topped with bacon appetizer was like a spring picnic. The service was great and the atmosphere relaxed and quiet.

I've been to this Ted's before and the food is consistently good. Tonight we had a server who kept coming over to ask how we were, but totally mis-timed. She asked about our salads before we could even lift a fork to start eating them. She asked us if we wanted dessert when we were 40% of the way through our entrees. We were being over-visited, and I am not sure why. The customer sitting at the table next to us was looking at her Insta on her phone, with no headphones. It was loud. She was on it the whole time since she was dining alone. Servers came to her table again and again, and nobody said anything. Finally, I asked her if she would lower the volume. She gave a rude comment in return. So if you want an experience like a bad dentist office visit, this is the place to go. The servers will nearly stand over you while you eat but have no problem with someone basically blasting a TV in the middle of the restaurant.

Stopped by here for brunch while in DC and will definitely be back. Apparently they have a few locations, but this one is conveniently located near Union Station. This is their newest location and it's gorgeous inside with a mix of bar, booth and table seating. I love the that they have an in house bakery and barista in addition to the bar and restaurant. They have an extensive menu that features an all day brunch. We were starving and skipped drinks. We ordered the fig and ricotta toast, confit shiitake hash and short rib pot roast. Everything was delicious. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the short rib pot roast. It tasted like home and was soo filling. We mentioned to our waitress, Sydney, that we would be sharing everything and she made sure to portion the entrees on separate plates for us! Talk about service! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in DC. I hope they open a NYC location

I'd recommend the NoMa Ted's Bulletin for happy hour. They offer a wide variety of fun drinks and the deals are pretty good for the area. The small bites are decent though truly small. For lunch and coffee, I think there are better places nearby at the same or better prices for what you get. For example, I ordered an $18 harvest salad to go for lunch and got back to my office to discover the salad was a lot of lettuce with only a few bites of nuts and blue cheese that had fallen to the bottom of the box. I know at least 3 nearby restaurants where I could get a better mixed salad!

Cute place for breakfast. Not too busy and service was quick and friendly. Nice outdoor seating area or indoors is quiet enough for good conversation. I had scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, hash browns, toast and coffee. All were cooked perfectly - especially the crispy hash browns. Toast tasted homemade or at least fresh baked. Save room for the tarts - a grown up homemade version of pop tarts - yum.

I try to visit Ted's everytime I'm in town. If I can't eat a full meal, I try to at least get the seasonal pop tarts! This time did not disappoint! I snagged the blueberry and seasonal cherry blossom tarts. The bakery case was extremely tempting but I resisted! This new location was in a great location, convenient to where I stayed, and I'll add it to my list!

So happy to have a Ted's in NE! The Noma location is always busy so definitely make a reservation. We came on a Saturday around 1:30pm and were seated time our whole party arrived. Our server was friendly and incredibly attentive! She checked in on us frequently, as did management. Stellar customer service. We had the bottomless coffee which was fabulous. A truly excellent cup of coffee. For breakfast I had Mark's Breakfast which is a really great value: 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, hash browns, and a Ted's Tart for about $15. I substituted the sausage for a cup of fruit which was strawberries, blueberries, and cantaloupe. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The sourdough toast was awesome and they give you the perfect amount of butter! Cant go wrong with bacon and their's has a bit of a sweetness which was delicious. The stand out however was the cherry blossom Ted's tart. Its a seasonal item in honor of cherry blossoms and is delicious-- my favorite tart! Really no downsides to Ted's other than it's busy and a bit loud. Definitely expect a wait if you walk in during brunch prime time but Ted's is one of the few places in the city where you can reliably get a good meal with good portions at a reasonable price with great service.

Thank goodness they serve breakfast all day because their breakfast absolutely kills!!! I love their huevos rancheros and my husband got the burrito. Both amazing, cannot recommend them enough

I am a " frequent flyer " you can say for Ted's Bulletin as I go often because it is located right across the street from my office. The service is always fast because I normally place my order online with Toast. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, bur big enough to host larger parties from an office meeting to after-work happy hour if needed. I often by the strawberry matcha which is not too sweet and the staff allow you to choose from a variety of milk substitutions. Today I tried their new Szechuan hot chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, but really oily. So oily that the french fries were soaked as well. The cabbage mixed on top provided a nice cooling sensation as well. And I always finish their meals with one of their famous tarts. You can never go wrong with the strawberry flavor.

When they said a cinnamon roll the size of ya face I didn't believe them. But then it came out and I was so impressed. Tasted lovely, the icing was very sweet, but had a good time overall. They've also got the best restaurant coffee we've ever had. Service was attentive, and the ambiance was bustling and nice.

A very good experience at Ted's Bulletin in NoMa. I like that the decor and interior design is upscale compared to their other locations in the DMV. If you've visited any of the other locations you will appreciate the additional space and slight shift from their traditional dining room concept at the NoMa location. The customer service was good and so was the food quality. I appreciate the available booth seating, which is great for families and large parties. They are family-friendly with a kids menu, which I also found adequate. Overall, a very good experience and refreshing change of pace from the usual Ted's Bulletin experience. Street parking is available, but not ample. There is a 5% service charge added to every bill to cover operation costs which the restaurant claims is a part of DC's Initiative 82. The fee is not a tip and the restaurant says that tipping is a vital part of compensation for their staff.I will visit again when in the area.

This was my second visit to the new Ted's Bulletin in NoMa and I was very pleased both times. The atmosphere, staff, and food are all great. On my recent visit, my table got the Lobster Mac & Cheese ($20), Big Mark Breakfast ($17 for 3 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage patties, hash browns, sourdough bread, and Ted's Tart), and Chicken + Waffles ($22 for fried chicken breast, belgian waffle, maple hot honey, chive butter). We also had Bottomless Coffee ($4.50 for the Every Day Blend, a locally roasted medium-dark coffee) and shared a Coconut Cake ($11) for dessert. All of the food got high marks. The lobster mac and cheese used plenty of cheese and cream, cavatappi pasta, and large pieces of lobster including recognizable claw meat. The breakfast plate was solid -- huge, about what you would expect, hash browns a little salty. Chicken and waffles also good. There were ~4 pieces of chicken, boneless, with a nice fry on them. The dish didn't need the chive butter and it needed more syrup, which was quickly provided when requested. Coffee (served black) was a little thin and weak. The coconut cake was also a highlight. It was a huge slice with great coconut flavor and very light crumb and icing. My friend, an amateur baker, is skeptical of many restaurant desserts but was impressed by this one. We got a four top in the back corner of the restaurant, in a sort of nook. This was a great table that felt a bit private, but we also weren't overlooked by our waiter. Our waiter was friendly and prompt. The restaurant decor is trendy and modern with a very appealing style. A few things could be adjusted. The breakfast plate came with the tart plopped on top and nowhere to put it; please put it on its own plate. The tart, despite being a signature dessert, is always too doughy with not enough filling. The coffee was so-so. The restaurant was a bit noisy, but that's not too surprising for peak brunch service. The floor is also a bit slippery. Overall, we had a good time at Ted's. It's a solid, crowd pleasing restaurant.

I love this place. My wife and I go eat here all the time, whether we dine in at the restaurant or just order a sandwich and a milkshake at the counter, it's always good. We like most locations but this particular one is our favorite. Staff are very friendly and the ambience is comfortable.

This was my first ever dining experience in Washington DC, and I was so pleasantly impressed! My girlfriend and I were looking for brunch options in the Union Station/NoMa area and landed here. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was so fancy and clean. Their brunch menu has a variety of options, but my girlfriend and I were feeling a classic breakfast. I ordered the "Make your Mark" breakfast combo with 2 over medium eggs, bacon, tater tots, and a biscuit. My girlfriend got a spinach & cheese omelette with sourdough and hash. The food was INCREDIBLE! So tasty, especially speaking for the tater tots. They were lightly crispy on the outside, and very soft and flavorful on the inside. Melted in your mouth. I also really enjoyed the bacon and the biscuit, but the eggs were a bit runny. Still very good though, and I paired it with Chalula hot sauce. My girlfriend's spinach-cheese omelette was TO DIE FOR! I will definitely order this one when we come back. She also really enjoyed her sourdough and hash, and it was a good pairing with the omelette. This is a great option for brunch in the DMV area!

So good!! I went for dinner with my friends when visiting DC recently, and was very happy with my experience! I was very impressed by the number of vegetarian friendly options, especially since I tend to find it harder to find good options at brunch-oriented places (there is an all-day Brunch menu here!). There were a lot of very tasty sounding options and I had a hard time landing on one thing to order, but I ended up getting the Confit Shiitake Hash. I normally can't order hashes because they're typically made with meats I don't eat, but this one used mushrooms instead. Delicious!! I love mushrooms anyway but didn't realize when I ordered it that the mushrooms would be braised and cooked in a way to act as a meat substitute. At first I really thought I got the wrong order because the mushrooms looked and tore like real meat when cut, but they were so good with a definite meaty texture and taste. The sourdough that came with the hash was fresh, the potatoes were crispy, and the poached eggs were perfectly runny with a savory and rich hollandaise sauce. I probably could've done with some more of the hollandaise, especially to dip the bread in, but otherwise I have no complaints! My friends got the Shiitake Mushroom Bolognese, which came with the same braised mushroom pieces, and also said it was amazing. The portion sizes were good for about one serving. For beverages, they have a great and fun mocktail and cocktail menu! I wanted the Pears Well, which they unfortunately didn't have. Instead, I ordered the Rum than Ran, which appeared to be an approximate mocktail of a piña colada and came with a maraschino cherry, and was delicious, sweet, and had a strong pineapple flavor. I also tried my friend's Peachy Keen mocktail, and my other friend's Lavender Mule cocktail, and both were also balanced and very yummy. Any dishes with eggs were an extra 75 cents because of the egg shortage, which felt a little silly considering how meals already are upcharged from the production cost (the Confit Shiitake Hash was already $19, and became $19.75 with the upcharge). Also, a 5% service charge was added to the check and this wasn't mentioned before, which was kind of annoying. Overall though the cost felt okay for DC and the nice interior of the restaurant, but it's definitely not cheap. The service was great; we had a reservation and were seated immediately, but it did take a while to get our check after. However, the yummy drinks and expansive vegetarian-friendly menu definitely make this a place I want to visit again! Hope to be back!

Visited the new Ted's Bulletin in Noma with some girlfriends. Clean and modern restaurant design. Quick efficient service. We tried the fried pickles, Summer Vegetable Pappardelle, avocado toast and tuna poke bowl. The fried pickles were good, a tad salty. The summer vegetable pappardelle had some nice flavors, but was overcast with oily texture. The last tuna bowl and avocado toast were fine, not necessarily memorable. For drinks we had mimosas, turmeric ginger juice, kombucha. I've been to a Ted's bulletin in the past and enjoyed the milkshakes and desserts so would return for that but felt the entrees were overall salty or oily.
