The 10 Best Dine Out Lauderdale Dining Deals, 2024

"This Fort Lauderdale Asian street food-inspired spot has a major August in store. As part of Dine Out Lauderdale on August 8, Temple Street will host a “Mastering the Art of Dumplings” class, including hands-on dumpling making, a welcome drink, and, yes, dumplings galore. The cost is $55. Also, stick a pin on August 17, when the restaurant will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a luau." - Jesse Scott

"Asian-American comfort food is most certainly a real thing, and it is fantastic. Temple Street Eatery is primarily a dumpling and noodle bar that has the best miso-ramen pork belly soup I've ever eaten. You're safe to try any dish off that menu, every single one of them is delicious." - Nick Rourke

Order at the counter, they deliver the food to your table. Huge portion sizes. Cute, casual dinner. Had miso ramen soup and crispy shrimp appetizer. Really wanted to try the Godzilla but it would have been double the size.

Google
First time trying their food. Food was outstanding and the value was just right. The only suggestion I would recommend, is to have more than one ordering computer monitor system. With so many great options people don’t use the paper menus to discuss what they want before using the system which of course slows down the line and adds a non-productive wait time. I will definitely be back.

I recently visited Temple Street Eatery and had an amazing experience! I ordered their pho, and it was one of the most flavorful and satisfying bowls I've had in a long time. The broth was rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of spices, and the fresh ingredients made it feel healthy and nourishing. It's the kind of meal that leaves you feeling good, both physically and emotionally. The location is perfect—easy to find and with plenty of parking, which is a huge plus in this area. I didn’t have to stress about finding a spot, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready with a warm smile and quick service. Temple Street Eatery combines delicious food, a convenient location, and top-notch service in one spot. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner, it's a place that makes you feel welcome and cared for. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Try in Fort Lauderdale! Temple Street Eatery is an absolute gem! I went in with high expectations and left completely satisfied. I tried the miso ramen, bulgogi, wonton soup, wonton tacos, mini arepas, and Philly cheesesteak with fries, and every single dish was packed with flavor. The miso ramen had a rich, umami-filled broth, the bulgogi was tender and perfectly marinated, and the wonton tacos were crispy, fresh, and bursting with unique flavors. Even the Philly cheesesteak surprised me—it was cheesy, juicy, and just hit the spot. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide. Whether you’re in the mood for comforting ramen, bold fusion flavors, or just a great casual spot to grab a meal, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Wow, I’ve come in here a couple of times and each time I like to try something new. All I can say is I never leave dissatisfied. Everything has been amazing and I can’t wait to keep trying more. 100/10 in my opinion

Google
Food today was delicious!! Strangely, I have to give a shout out to the French fries though. That grill seasoning concoction was incredible. Super delicious. The fries had the perfect crunch too. My buddy had the Bamh-Mi, and he gets all the time, 5 stars. I had the shrimp and thought it was really good too. The sauces on the side were very tasty. The service was nice! We ate outside on the patio. Atmosphere I suppose could be improved, nothing was overly impressive. 5 stars overall!!

Google
I recently used temple street eatery for my son’s birthday party for easy shareable food and had a great experience! They advised me on what was popular and recommended for my guest size and the food was great, well packaged and came with all sauces (all labeled too, great for allergies). Super easy to communicate with and I would definitely use them again!! Thank you!

Google
I want to preface the review by saying the service was great 👍🏼 The shrimp wonton soup was average at best. What makes a good soup is the broth and noodles and this place fell short on both. I won't be getting it again. Thanks!

Yelp
Temple Street Eatery takes its name from the street in Hong Kong that houses a famous night market. Located off of Federal Highway in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Temple Street is co-owned by Alex Kuk who was born in Florida to parents from Hong Kong. His partners are chef Diego Ng, who was born in Venezuela to Chinese parents, and his aunt and uncle, Christina and Jason Huynh, owners of nearby Christina Wan's Mandarin House, one of the restaurants Kuk trained at. When creating his own restaurant Kuk was inspired to bring affordable Asian comfort food in the flavors of China, Japan and Korea to South Florida. I have been to Temple Street for two Yelp events, most recently for Kitty Boba, the new boba tea stall in Temple Street. While attending that event I saw that Temple Street was having a 10th anniversary party on Saturday night. I am so glad I came back for it because they went all out. The party spilled out out into the parking lot where there were vendors selling items and dancers from Polynesian Proud Productions performed. The night ended with an exciting fire dance. Inside Temple Street there was a special luau festival menu with appetizers and Hawaiian plates of teriyaki chicken and beef, lemongrass tofu, kalua pulled pork, crispy shrimp, and salmon poke along with specialty drinks. I had the teriyaki beef and Aloha Pog and they were both fantastic, especially that tender teriyaki beef which was so flavorful. I had a great evening celebrating with Temple Street. Congratulations on your 10 year anniversary and here is to many more!

Yelp
Passed by this eatery a few months ago and was curious because it was so busy. We finally got to come back and try it. It's in a strip mall, so there's lots of parking. The place is clean and bright and seats about 16 or so inside, with a few tables outside. When we first arrived around 6 pm, it was kinda empty. But it quickly filled up. It features food with an Asian flair and Hispanic touches. We had the pork dumplings appetizer, the Godzilla Ramen, and the Buddha Bowl. The dumplings were boiled and moist and delicious. The Godzilla ramen had pork belly, ropa vieja, Asian veggies, and a boiled egg. We loved the pork belly, egg, and veggies but the ropa vieja gave the broth a heavy taste. The ramen itself was fine. I ordered the Buddha Bowl with chicken and noodles. It also was accompanied by greens, marinated veggies, thick and chewy mushrooms (loved them!), and a sauce of choice (mine was soy garlic). Mix it all up and your tastebuds are in for a delightful treat. You order at the counter, where they ask for a tip to be included before you are even served. (I hate that; I tip at the table.) Your meal is brought to you. Our dinner for two with one appetizer and two entrees was about $46. We definitely will be back to try more from the varied menu.

Yelp
Came in for the first time to this location for dinner. It was about 7pm on a weekday and it was busy but plenty outdoor and a few indoor tables available. Nice and relax vibes. I've always been to the newest Pembroke Pines location , but never this one . The staff were super friendly and serviceable. You order at the counter and they bring you the food to the table. We tried a few things from the menu: Shrimp dumplings 9/10 super flavorful and perfect consistency. Chicken wings plain with sauce on the side 8/10 also well seasoned and I loved the chili sauce. Wonton shrimp tacos 6/10 they were light and crispy very spicy since it's top with kimchi Beef pho 6/10 broth was light and fresh , but if only had 3 thin slices of beef. It was mostly noodles. There's some other things i would love to try so I might check them out again since their Pp menu is more limited.

Yelp
Everything Ive tried here is so good. My favorite are the chicken dumplings and the korean bulgogi beef- both have a lot of flavor and the portion sizes are great.

Yelp
This was our first time here. Located on N Federal Hwy in the same spot as Kitty Boba Teahouse. A large menu with a great selection. We had miso ramen, Godzilla ramen, chicken katsu (which was my dish and I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it), and shrimp dumplings. The portions are large, so you will leave satisfied and not hungry. Service was helpful in recommending dishes since it was our first time there and quick in delivering our orders to our table. I hope to make it back here again.

Yelp
Went here for lunch and the food was delicious. The service was very easy as you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Situated in a plaza off US-1, it's easy to get to and has a nice feel when you walk in.

Yelp
I came here for the first time, Temple Street Eatery is pretty good and has different fusions. We ordered a few plates to try like the Ramen Beef Pho Noodles Soup, wings, shrimp dumplings, Shrimp wonton Tacos, and the Vietnamese lumpia all were very good some spicy but tolerable. Service could be better when ordering but the lady who brought out the plates to the table and cleaned up is very nice and friendly. They have plenty of parking, and are open from 11 am - 9 pm you can eat inside or outside as they have outside tables. If you're in the area, definitely give Temple Street Eatery a try.

Yelp
My best friend and I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Temple Street Eatery. I opted for the shrimp dumplings and a Buddha bowl with chicken and egg, while my friend indulged in the pork dumplings. The dumplings were an absolute standout. The accompanying sauce was a perfect balance of salty and sweet, elevating the flavor profile to new heights. The shrimp dumplings were some of the best I've ever tasted! The Buddha bowl was filling, although the chicken was a bit dry. However, the perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg and the delicious ramen noodles helped to balance the flavors. The addition of onions, carrots, and other veggies provided a nice crunch and helped round out the protein and carbs in the bowl. The soy garlic dressing was tasty, but I would've preferred a bit more to soak into the ramen. It's evident that Temple Street Eatery has a loyal following. The friendly and personable owners create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We learned about their upcoming 10-year anniversary celebration and wished we could attend. The restaurant's cleanliness and efficient service contributed to a pleasant dining experience. While seating is limited, it suits the casual vibe of the place. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu, especially considering their diverse offerings of salads, bowls, and ramen.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years as I live directly across the street. I typically pick something up to take home, but it's a small spot with orders placed at the counter and has both indoor and outdoor casual seating. The food is always good and everyone is always friendly. Some of my go-to menu items are the Buddha salad with the lemon grass chicken, the wonton noodle soup if I'm feeling sick (with some hot oil [up charge] added to make it spicy!) and the bulgogi bowl. I like to add their homemade chili crisp [up charge] to the bulgogi bowl to give it that extra flavor kick. They sell it, so I keep a jar at home as it is SO yummy and you can put it on many things! The only reason for the 3 stars and not higher is something that rubs me the wrong way, and I really hope they reconsider or I may have to reconsider my patronage, is the nickel-and-diming. It isn't just the up charges for the tiny portion of hot oil needed to give their food flavor. When you order online from their website for pickup, in addition to adding a tip for takeout counter service, they try to get you to add a $1.99 Covid relief fee (this is June of 2024!) and I noticed that recently they added an automatic $.99 service fee & $2.90 credit card processing fee. IMO that's the cost of doing business. I am not going to pay over $24 for a $16 item that I am picking up myself from your counter. And that's without the optional Covid fee because I would never even give that a thought...

Yelp
We stopped by for the Kitty Boba Yelp Event and stayed for some dinner. I like the order-at-the-counter and served-at-the-table concept. We ordered from the HH menu and the regular one. We got the TSE's Fiesta Platter for 2, it was only $30.00 and it comes with your choice of beer or wine! We got 2 glasses of Cabernet for our order. We also got a bowl of the Miso Ramen. The Fiesta Platter included: Furikake Shrimp Crackers (middle) Edamame (comes w/an oil-based sauce) Cheese Tequeños (comes with a yummy green sauce) Kimichi Quesadillas Frita Dumplings (comes with an orange yummy sauce) Every item that came with the platter was hot/warm and fresh as well as delicious. My top three favorites were the Frita dumplings , the Shrimp Crackers , and the Cheese Tequeños. The wine was nice but not chilled. The broth of the Miso Ramen was 7/10 The Pork Belly was an 8/10 (a bit too chewy for me) The noodles were a 7/10 It was a bit empty when we arrived but by the time we left, it was a full house! I loved the decor, my favorite pieces were the ラメン and dumpling signs.

Yelp
Located just north of Broward Blvd near Ft. Lauderdale, this Asian fusion restaurant is a solid, consistent choice. The have good noodle options, healthy bowls, a variety of apps and items to share, and a good happy hour. The Buddha bowl was filling and had a good variety but the lemongrass chicken on it was a little dry. The noodle dishes were filling and full of flavor, pure comfort dishes. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for quick, reasonably priced, comfort Asian food.

Yelp
We ordered at the counter. The female taking our order was very pleasant. The food arrived quickly and as ordered. The drinks were to the side and there was a drink station selling (I think) boba teas separately. The lighting was a bit bright but I guess that's expected. We did enjoy the decor and free parking was a plus for this area of town

Yelp
I happened to be trying out the new Kitty Boba Teahouse located within the Temple Street Eatery restaurant. The menu at TSE has some very delicious choices. I loved that they have pictures of many of their menu items on their laminated menu. It made choosing what to eat a little crazy. Everything looked so good, but I ultimately went with the Bahn Mi and the Crispy Pork Belly as a side dish. The sandwich was fresh and full of meat and veggies. The crispy pork belly was my favorite. I asked for a little chili oil to spice things up, and with the tangy sauce underneath, I was sad when it was all gone. The decor inside has an authentic street market feel that is fun and festive. Service was great as I ordered at the counter, and then they delivered it to my table. Worth tipping a few bucks because they do deliver the food and clean up the empty plates afterward. I will definitely be back, and if you check in on the Yelp app, there might be a free treat.

Yelp
Great food that we stumbled upon close to our hotel. I forgot to ask for one of the sandwiches without jalapeños for our toddler. She started crying when the bread that had touched the jalapeno was too spicy. The owner/manager(?) noticed that she was upset and had the kitchen make her a brand new sandwich. It was so sweet of them. Amazing place!

Yelp
We arrived early after a business meeting, about 11;30 for lunch. I like music but it was uncomfortably loud for lunch. I've been coming here often since opening. The prices really took a jump. I ordered tea to go along with my order and was told that you don't serve that. ( strange). There is a tea kiosk in the same space. ( seems like the guy behind the counter didn't know). Go to order tea, no tea. Oh what?? The girl behind counter didn't know how to operate the machine that produces hot water‍. About when I finished my noodle soup with mushrooms(warm not hot) she brings the tea and told me she figured it out. Then she presents me with an $8.00 tab. No thanks I said but here's a tip for you troubles. I gave her 2 bucks. That will be my last visit to TSE. Too bad . Once upon a time I really liked it.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places in FLL. The staff is SO NICE! They are always accommodating...the noodle soup always makes me feel better and I love the dumplings. I normally get take out but I have eaten in house and it's a nice casual dining atmosphere without crazy prices...imagine that! Go!

Yelp
This place was a real surprise. I made plans to meet a friend for dinner, and we were looking for a place near The Parker before the show. Temple Street Eatery showed up in a quick search. Let's start with the basics. You get in line, order at a cash register, pay for your order before you get your food, and it's delivered to your table. This isn't the place for you if you want table service (and the corresponding tipping experience). However, if you love great food, fair prices, and a funky low-key atmosphere, check it out. Parking at most places is usually challenging, but there was ample parking here, even during dinner hour. Delightful for sure. We started with a couple of different dumplings; you can get small plates with just two, which is fantastic if you like to try different things. We ordered the veggie dumplings which were lacking flavor. However, the shrimp dumplings were amaze-maze! I ordered the Goszilla Ramen with rice noodles; you can have different types of noodles; I like gluten-free. OMG, this was mind-blowing. Really, really great. My friend had the Spicy Miso Ramen, and wow, she actually didn't speak for like 3 minutes. If you knew who I was talking about, you wouldn't believe she could be quiet that long. Now, chips on the table here, it's about a half hour ride from my place. I am lazy and hate driving in traffic (duh, you live in where?) so if I tell you that I would make a special trip just to eat here again, T R U S T M E - it's worth it. There are no tablecloths, no entertainment, no fancy shmancy stuff, just eat-as-fast-as-you-can, great food. Word to the restaurant - Your prices are fair, and I appreciate great food at fair prices. Please don't raise them because I'm really cheap and even I would come back, drive a half hour to eat with my blabber mouth friends here - just cause the food is dope. Cool?
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
Only three pieces of meat in a bowl that consisted of about 80% bean sprouts. Chipotle style dining where you walk up and order at a counter. It's fine if you're starving to death but not worth the money or bean sprouts to me.
google avatar

Cheyanna A.

Yelp
I love this place and it brings me great pain that I live so far away from it. Went recently for happy hour after work with a friend and had the kimchi pork belly quesadilla. The pork was juicy and dilla was nice and crispy, I just wish it had been smothered more in kimchi but that's probably my own personal preference. My friend got the wings which are always fire.
google avatar

Stachia L.

Yelp
This place is spectacular for some fresh Ramen. The spicy beef Ramen had so much flavor it made you want to jump for joy. They gave chili oil to add and it was nicely blended. The flavor made my arm hair stand up. Lol The customer service was friendly and informative. They explained how they want to provide an opportunity for people to try great food with a twist of Florida culture. They provide fresh coffee at their café immediately to your left when you walk in. The decor was perfectly themed with red and tan colors. Open spaced so it looks bigger then it actually is. I would recommend more drink options at the establishment. Of course I'm thinking about different teas and fresh juice drinks. The bulgogi bowl my friend got was pretty good . I just didn't expect it to be a bit cold. I have been to many Korean restaurants where the bulgogi bowl items were hot. Come check them out if you're in town. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
I order the miso ramen and it does not disappoint. The buddah bowl with chicken with the spicy sauce is tasty and filling. Chicken wings are crispy

Yelp
5 star food, 4 star service, 4 star ambiance. Great food with good ambiance and decent service in this casual pan Asian bistro at the edge of Victoria Park and Flagler Village 5 star food. The food here is excellent. I highly recommend their Buddha bowl ( medium spice with chopped chicken is my fave : ) 4 star service. You order at the counter and it can be a bit slow to get someone's attention. There's also that annoying bit of being prompted to tip ahead of time on the counter app in front of the ordering staff. Rather than being coerced before I know what the service is like when the food arrives, I prefer to tip at the table. 4 star ambiance. Inside is great with quietness and widely spaced tables. Outside not much can be done...the sidewalk tables are essentially in the parking lot.
google avatar

Evelina K.

Yelp
My go-to in the area if I'm craving ramen. However, their other choices are all amazing too. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with a menu item. The staff is really nice and they bring the food very quick.

Yelp
I have had temple street eatery on my list for some time and we finally visited. I had the falafal bowl - it was okay. The edamame falafal balls were not super hot or crisp and the hummus was meh. I know, I know this is an Asian restaurant and I ordered falafal - but it was on the menu and in theory it sounded good. It was also dry as it had no dressing or sauce. I also ordered the shrimp dumplings. They were tasty and we all enjoyed it. My daughter had a Raman that came with meat - she opted for no meat but to have shrimp instead. As expected we were charged the full price of the ramen PLUS $6 for the shrimp. Why is when you add you are charged but when you take away a protein, you're not credited? That's every where, but it's frustrating. My husband had the Godzilla Ramen and enjoyed it. All in all, the space is clean - it's quick serve, but service was friendly. We may be back and I'll try something different.

Yelp
The theme was so cute on the inside. the service was super quick all the food came out fresh and tasty with lots of flavor and good portions. it was definitely a good meal and got straight to the craving for some good asian cuisine.

Yelp
When walking through the doors of Temple Street Eatery, you are warmly greeted by the employees. The dining area is very intimate, so if you area dining in you also have the option of outdoor seating. Attended Temple Street Dumpling making class, hosted by Alex. Where we we learn the traditional styles of preparing dumplings. What fillings go into them, and what we substitute. Loved the class, since it was very knowledgeable and it was 100 percent hands on. I definitely think this class would be perfect for a group or team building exercise. This class would also be part of For Lauderdale restaurant month! Dine Out Lauderdale, there will be 4 classes (16 ppl) for the month of August. First class takes place on August 12 at noon. Second class takes place on 17 August at 6pm, the third class takes place on the 24th August at 6pm and the final class takes place on the 31st August at 6pm. Each class include-  Small bites, 1 alcoholic beverage (must be 21+ to drink) & dessert A culinary demo on how to prepare your dumpling fillings as well on how to make different styles of dumplings Materials to make your own dumplings including recipe cards so you can take your own creation home to cook!  The price of this class is only $55. P.P . What are you waiting for go book your class !

Yelp
Phenomenal bulgolgi beef bowl with white rice, I had the cucumber salad and then poured the dressing on to the bowl for even more flavor . Wow wow highly recommended

Yelp
Thanks to Yelp for pointing out this fun eatery in Fort Lauderdale! The menu was incredible - so many fun options to choose from. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. I went with the shrimp dumplings and the Kimchi quesadilla, along with a beer. It's very casual (I brought my work laptop, and wasn't the only one). I love that it was easy to find, and there was free parking right in front. All of the dishes I ordered came with extra sauce - huge win for me. Prices were also very reasonable. The spicy mayo like sauce on the quesadillas had a nice kick to it. Staff was super friendly. From other reviews, it looks like they do a solid happy hour here - so I'll make note to come back! I am looking forward to coming back and trying more items!
google avatar

Atira S.

Yelp
Happened to come during happy hour, so I was able to order a couple different menu items. The staff was extremely friendly and offered recommendations about their milk teas & different dishes. My favorite was by far their yin yang milk tea-which is a combination of their house milk tea and cold brew. I also got the kimchi quesadilla, and it was pretty good. I would have loved a little more spice and kimchi in the quesadilla (it did come with some kimchi on the side as well) but overall it was great! Loved the gochujang cream and the lemongrass chicken inside was so flavorful. Chicken katsu bowl was good, but it definitely felt more like a salad with a side of chicken katsu. The chicken cutlet itself was small and thin, but it was very well seasoned and crispy. This would have been my favorite dish if there was just a bigger piece of chicken. Overall, I will be back to try some of their other menu items!

Yelp
Food: Ramen was ok. Appetizers as well. Not the best ramen around. Presentation isn't too shabby. It came out very quick. The menu is diverse. Service: Nice, patient, and accommodating. Ambiance: cool vibe. Interior is nicely designed. Bathroom was slippery!! Extremely slippery. It is super clean. Bathroom smelled like bleach or strong cleaning product. Located in a nice plaza. Nice area.

Yelp
Used to live across the street from Temple. Was there when it first opened. Good then, good now! In fact it was amazing! I ordered the shrimp wonton soup and it was full of flavor! The bok choy was crunchy and crisp and fresh and the ramen noodles were delicious. The shrimp dumplings in the soup were a great size and they give you so many which is great cause you get the bang for your buck! My husband ordered the bulgogi bowl and there was so much taste and flavor. I honestly forgot how great Temple Street is. Was super affordable too for the sizing of the portions. Going to go back soon!

Yelp
Very good place bot no good music, godzilla Ramen food amazing the best, service is not too fast but good.

Yelp
10/10, great service and food was amazing! I ordered the spicy miso soup and the katsu chicken bowl!

Yelp
Our first time here so we ordered a few things to sample the menu. It's difficult to say which was my favorite because I enjoyed everything we got. Shrimp wonton tacos were delicious. My daughter liked the pork dumplings and chicken katsu. My husband's favorite was the bulgogi cheesesteak. Definitely recommend trying this spot if you're in the area.

Yelp
TLDR: This is one of those restaurants that I found pretty average in terms of flavor but I would still come back to for convenience. Also a mid rating because these were dishes I can make at home as well. However, if you're not used to cooking Asian food, this meal would probably be more interesting for you! FOOD Shoyu soba: simple vegetarian soup noodle dish The base was mostly soy flavor. I wish they gave more toppings here, but it will fill you up given the amount of noodles. Buddha bowl w lemongrass chicken: for eaters who get tired of their bowl easily. I enjoyed the variety of toppings they give. HH kimchi quesadilla: this... was lacking kimchi unfortunately. I wish they either put more in the either quesadilla or more in the side. It tasted like a regular chicken and cheese quesadilla. Hong Kong Milk Tea: funny because I would comeback just for this one drink. It's SO hard to find HK MY in Florida (tbh haven't found a second spot that does it yet HH drink: I forgot the name of this (lol). But it was mango popping boba, sake based, and had a tajin like rim. Fun drink!! SERVICE Quick and easy, no complaints. Food was brought out pretty quickly MISC easy parking, not busy on a Saturday night

Yelp
It was lunchtime and after being at the range all morning I was starving. A friend recommended this spot so we gave it a go. The place is quaint and the atmosphere is laid back. We decided to have the mini arepas as an appetizer which were really good. They had shredded beef on top of them that was tender and juicy. After looking at all the choices on the menu I decided on the Godzilla Ramen and I have to say it did not disappoint!!! The broth was very flavorful and it was full of shredded beef, pork belly and a whole egg. Everything was cooked to perfection and the restaurant definitely lived up to it's ratings. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning to try some of the other items on the menu!!! Kudos to the Chef

Yelp
We came here for a special event -- their Chinese New Year brunch. The restaurant opened here eight years ago. The food is a unique "Chino Latino" mix highlighting the Argentinian and Asian/Chinese backgrounds of the owners with a few twists. It was a separate featured menu for the event of 5 items plus drinks: Frita Dumplings; Lomi Lomi Salmon; Char Siu; Curry Brisket Udon, and for dessert: Halo Halo. Each item was a fusion of flavors showing off the culinary creativity of co-owners Alex and Diego. Each of the dishes were wonderful and it was hard to choose my favorite from among them. The first item, the Frita Dumplings, however, are on their regular menu and was one of my top 2 favorites. I'd definitely order these again. Inside the crisply fried dough potstickers were chorizo (sausage). It was served on top of a spicy sauce with crunchy potato sticks. I'm not a big raw or sushi fan, but their Lomi Lomi may have converted me. Their salmon is cured in house and served like a ceviche. It was "melt in your mouth" yummy. The char siu was slices of roasted pork on top of a slaw with roasted Brussel sprouts. The "diner style" curry brisket udon was amazing. This needs to be added to their regular menu, for sure! The tenderest brisket meat and carrot pieces (like a stew) were served in the large bowl along with the chewy udon noodles. All was in their delicious curried broth that was addictive. And for dessert was a (Phillipine/Hawaiian) halo halo dessert with a mixed ube and tea ice cream along with rice pudding and flan and fruit. In full disclosure, I was a winner to this event having entered a contest on Instagram. Can't wait to come back to try some of their regular menu (and daily blackboard additions) -- their dim sum, small bites, and noodle bowls especially appeal. Although a banh Mi sandwich would be a great lunch.

Yelp
This was the first time I've walked into a bowl restaurant like this, and had a difficult time deciding on what to have. There were so many things on the menu that looked really good. I knew I wanted the bok choy, and it was an excellent choice. Although I would have liked a few more jalapeños in it, it was tasty and delicious. Oh, I did decide. I went with the godzilla ramen bowl. It had pork belly, shredded beef, a hard- boiled egg, beansprouts, green onions, and ramen noodles in a spicy broth. They brought me some extra of whatever spicy they used to make it hot, and of course, I used it. I really enjoyed it, and it made my nose run the entire time I was eating it. My wife and daughter were with me. My wife had a side of shrimp dumplings and an edamame falafel bowl. I'm not sure if she liked the bowl she had, but I do know she liked the shrimp dumplings. My daughter had the spicy miso bowl with shrimp instead of ropa veija. Even though she wouldn't admit that it was a bit too spicy for her, she seemed to enjoy it. As far as the restaurant goes, it's not very big, it's clean, and the guys working were friendly.

Yelp
My fav on the go spot for a great meal that does not jeopardize flavor! Top fav is the Buddha bowl with the Bimbap sauce on a bead of white rice. But just about everything on this menus is delicious. Staff is super nice, helpful and knowledgeable.

Yelp
I stopped in for my first time yesterday for lunch. We ordered pork dumplings, beef bulgogi bowl and the Asian slaw. I loved everything we ordered. Everything was served hot and it all tasted fresh. I loved all the flavors and the kimchi on top of the bowl was fantastic. Both of the owners were in and are incredibly kind. The lot had tons of free parking, the inside is cute but still casual and everything was clean. The menu was fun and unique and had so many things that I wanted to try! We ended our meal with the coconut rice pudding and ube ice cream which were also delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Yelp
Easy going staff with great attitude. I liked my plate as it was exactly what I needed. There were no heavy sauces or spices. The ambience was also very good. I liked the overall experience as I arrived half an hour before closure and not even for a second I felt like I not-wanted.

Yelp
Temple Street Eatery is amazing. The comments saying "I could make this at home" ??? Is the only reason you ever go out to eat because you couldn't make that at home? that is not always the case. Also, I doubt it would taste just like this. The fusion between latin and asian bites and cuisine is fun and allows you to have many options to choose from. The drinks are also so fun! and super tasty! The service is great, the vibe is great, me and my fiancé have been coming here for years and years. We even have a t-shirt :D The other negative reviews I've read are mostly, from what it seems, negative, ungrateful people that won't allow themselves to be pleased. One even said they would come here for one drink alone and still left 3 stars. Insane! (maybe it was the Ying Yang? personal favorite!) Get the Ying Yang drink (black tea+espresso w/condensed milk), the Godzilla or Spicy Miso Ramen, or the Mini Beef Arepas! - actually, Yuenyeung is a drink that originated in Hong Kong! grateful to bring us some authentic fun recipes from around the world! Truly, Temple Street Eatery is a gem, that delivers consistently tasty and fun food and is a place me and my fiancé look forward to going to every time and love knowing it's still there, doing well, in our neighborhood!

Yelp
The manager was very inviting and kind! Everything was clean and it was spacious inside. With seating outside as well. Everyone working was nice and the flow of things was pretty chill, but they were quick with the food/service. Our food was decent for the most part. Everything kind of lacked standout flavor. It wasn't bad! But, nothing that was like "oh yes I love this and will come back for it". If I'm in the mood for some convenient Asian food, then I wouldn't mind coming here. The ramen bowl was huge so it was worth the price. The wonton tacos however were small and for the price not really worth it. Dumplings are my absolute favorite food. Alas these didn't hit my heart like others have. It was cool stopping in at this place though.

Yelp
Extremely average. Best food there is the arepas. Tried the boba tea, passion fruit. Tasted like I just brushed my teeth before drinking it.

Yelp
Temple Street Eatery is a fine establishment. The service is actually pretty good, and all the staff are friendly. I do enjoy the set up or ambiance of the restaurant too, as it is very clean. The food is as "authentic" as you would expect from an Asian restaurant in South Florida. Presentation of the food is always nice. But they really get ya in terms of portions, as most dishes are packed with the noodles/rice and are skimpy on everything else.... I guess that's how you make money, because the meat is the most expensive part. For example, the pho broth is a bit one dimensional and they don't give you much meat for what you pay for. The soft boiled egg was, however, cooked to perfection. So they get a gold star for that! I have also tried the chicken cutlet, and the cutlet is excellent. If you get it, ask for extra sauce tho because it is just served on a mound of dry rice or noodles with like one cherry tomato cut in half and a handful of lettuce for garnish. Overall this restaurant might satisfy a craving for Asian food, but it's not worth more than three stars for me.

Yelp
This spot is pretty delicious - I tried out the poke bowl & the bulgogi bowl way back in the day (around 2016) and recall those were delicious. I recently tried out the pho and the ramen which both were great although I do like my ramen to be a bit more pork/protein based broth (which I believe this one is a bit lighter compared to other ramens that I've had). It was still delicious and the pork belly included in the ramen is second to none. I'll definitely be back here to continue my menu exploration soon!
