"Tempo offers a variety of traditional Turkish street foods including build-your-own flatbreads, salads, falafel, and the standout boat-shaped Turkish pizza called 'pide'. The limited menu features a 'street specialties' section with spicy grilled beef sausage, lahmacun, doner, falafels, and salads. The family-run business is operated by Bethesda restaurateur Ugur Altintas and his daughter Selin Altintas." - Tierney Plumb

Wonderful eatery. I loved the authentic flavours and the simplicity in taste. We tried the Chicken Pide and Kusbasili Pide. The serving portion is huge and can easily be shared. The service is quick as well. The owner and staff are very helpful and make you feel welcomed. I enjoyed visiting here and would definitely come again.

I recently tried this restaurant out of curiosity and my love for street food!! It was an amazing food experience that did not disappoint. The food was freshly made to order and I especially liked how they helped me customize it to fit my preference (egg + spicy!?!!). I ordered the ground beef Pride which was so different and good that it really has me questioning If I should ever bother with pizza again. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience that will quickly become your new normal lunch spot.

This was my first time trying Turkish food. I really liked it. Pide tastes so much better than thin crust pizza. I loved it. I liked their hummus and sauces. They have good variety of vegan, vegetarian and meat.

The food is delicious! You can make your own, which is a nice to have when you feel like doing so. All the meat here is Halal! The service is great, we felt so welcomed. The restaurant looks nice and super clean.

We saw this place walking down the street while visiting D.C. and wanted to try it out for lunch. It was pretty good. The owner was really cool and our food came out quickly. I've never had Istanbul street food before so I cant speak to the authenticity of it but the food was solid and I'd eat here again.

I really enjoyed my Doner Sandwich ($11). Lots of choices of good food at very reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, very clean, lots of seating.
