I’d give it closer to 4.5 stars. The beef wontons are amazing - nicely cooked flavourful and goes so well with the sauce. Must order you won’t regret. Beef meatball soup - soup base is great ! Meatball flavourful just a tad too chewy but overall great Had the beef shank noodle - maybe just be careful to take the meat out of the hot soup coz it will overcook. The least wow for me because of this reason. Overall impression - Not exactly easy to reach without calling a grab. So imo is good to come by if you’re not far away or if you super love beef.

i love the broth and the quality of the meat. we ordered the beef dumpling as well. it was a different experience as normally dumpling fillings have a rough and firmer texture, but what i had was the opposite. It was new but eventually I really enjoyed the dumplings! I would 100% come back here the next visit back to bangkok.

I had the braised beef soup and won tons. Definitely the best beef I've ever had in Asia so far. The place looks modest but the taste is over the ceiling! Certainly good spot!

The best beef noodle in Bangkok 🐮❤️☀️🍜—if you're a beef lover, this place is a must-try! There’s really no competition, I don’t even know who to compare it to because it’s already so far ahead in taste. 👅 ✨ The flavors are rich and aromatic, and the beef is tender with distinct textures from each part of the meat. You can clearly feel the difference in the chewiness with each bite. I enjoy every part, even the meatballs are delicious. But the highlight is definitely the shoulder and tongue—they’re absolutely mouthwatering! Every time I have it, I feel like having three bowls, but they give such a generous portion that I can barely finish one. The price is very reasonable considering the quality. The only downside is that the shop is a bit hard to find, and there’s no parking, so you’ll need to park at the nearby temple and walk over, or you can order for pickup. For tourists, it’s an easy walk, though. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, but the fans make it comfortable enough. The building has a cool, renovated vibe—an old structure with a mix of Thai and Chinese influences.

Had the noodle soup with tongue and beef wonton. Both incredible. The tongue was thickly sliced and so tender. The beef wonton was so juicy. And the price is so cheap. Highly recommended!

The broth was good with nice seasoning and bakance but the beef was a little chewy, I'm not convinced this places lives up to a Michelin recommendation.

This humble shop is known for serving up seriously tender cuts and bold, comforting flavors. We ordered three dishes: Braised Shank Beef Noodle Soup Ox Tongue with Rice Beef Wontons Every dish showcased the quality of the beef — fresh, perfectly cooked, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The ox tongue was especially impressive: soft, flavourful, and beautifully done. But my personal favourite? The beef wontons. Each bite was bursting with savoury goodness, and the beef inside was so soft it practically dissolved in your mouth. A must-visit for beef lovers — no frills, just incredible flavours.
