I'll start this by saying that this is not your average Chinese food place. From what little I know with my uneducated eyes and palate it seems far more authentic, from the food down to the decor and layout.
When I came in I was handed two different menus, but told by my server "order from here" and they pointed to one of the menus, which was more than a bit confusing but I rolled with it. The menus themselves are not entirely perfectly translated, and have an odd layout, luckily there are pictures of most of the food, however, since lots of it is dimsum, it all looks rather similar, so lots of it is a guessing game. I picked half a dozen dishes that seemed interesting essentially at random and hoped for the best.
Look, I'll be honest, I have almost no idea what I ate. The only things that were spelled out were some crispy fried shrimp sticks, which were absurdly good, and greasy in the best way, and some black truffle dim sum which was also excellent. All the food was good and unique and best part inexpensive. For once I even got myself a dessert, which were some sesame balls which I thought I was familiar with but the size of the ones they gave me were absurd. Each sesame ball was massive.
So, overall, neat looking place, great inexpensive food, but could probably work on a better menu or better explanation as to what's going on.
