Tenacity Craft

The SE MI Brewery Discovery Tour's next stop is: Tenacity Craft. I'm not sure everyone will be appreciative of this place. Their loss. This is a neighborhood brewery. Street parking, picnic tables in the outdoor space, a concrete bar, a little dark in some spots (check out the big, comfy couch!), and really nice, friendly people, both staff and customers. So many taps! Come check it out.

Visiting Detroit and told to go here. Omg amazing! Got a flight. Husband got four samples and I got two cider samples. Really interesting flavors. We ordered one pizza. Delicious. There’s sweetness to it that we can’t pinpoint but it’s so good. Crispy edges, tasty sauce. Would recommend this place for sure!

One of my favorite spots! Great beer/seltzers/bourbon/NA root beer, with a cute, non-crowded patio for dogs and kids. AND the absolute best Detroit style pizza. My four year old affectionately calls it "the pizza cafe that has beer for kids" root beer, that is 🥴

This place has some of the best staff in the whole city! We came here for my partner's birthday and they were kind enough to let us store a surprise birthday cake for a little while. Delicious pizza, plenty of great options on tap, and tons of outdoor space to hang out. Love this place and our neighborhood!

Beer was great. Service friendly. Playing what had to be the worst music I have ever heard. Death metal screeching vocals over random tempo music. 5 stars because the beer was great and awesome classic movie mural in the bathroom. Music? 0/5 stars.

My new home base taproom. Very rare to find a place that has Scotch Ale so as long as they have that…I’ll be there! Solid pizza too! Drew is often working solo but always delivers quality service. Props to him.

Such a great place! Neighborhood bar meets craft brewing! There is also a handful of non-beer options. Nice outdoor space for when the weather is warm. Staff are knowledgeable and super kind.

Love this place, every beer is solid and their cherry cider is a masterpiece. Best Detroit style pizza, there I said it. And awesome staff. Cool, chill vibe.

Found this spot off Woodward down a quiet street. Mothership in Flint where the beer is made however here they have their own bourbon. They have pre mixed drinks also and alcohol free ones too. Nice low key vibe- and tag a brew!

Great brewery! Had the Honey Blu Blu cider which was very good!! The pizza was wonderful Detroit style with the honey ... a new level!! Plan to go back in summer

I stopped by because my cousin is in giving birth nearby! Cool Spot! Love the honey on the pizza and good beer! Definitely check this spot out!

This is a super cute spot with great beer and outdoor seating, it doesn't get better than that! Flights are fairly priced at $16 for 6 pours and they have a wide selection of different beers and ciders. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me choose between a few beers I was considering. There is free street parking which is always a plus. I will definitely be back soon! We stopped here with visitors this weekend and it was a real treat! They have a really nice selection of hard ciders, including a cherry, two blueberry, a standard, and a fantastic blackberry hard seltzer. Their non-alc root beer is also great! They also do really quite solid Detroit-style pizza as well. Great service, great drinks, good pizza, easy parking, chill atmosphere inside. All said, a great newer addition to the Detroit brewery scene!

We had two different samplers of beer. Everything was really very good. And we were sitting outside with our dog and it was great.

Such a great local neighborhood bar. As a patron that lives within biking distance it is always a wonderful local spot to enjoy a cold craft brew on a beautiful day. Indoor is very chill with a geat bar space and nice little outdoor seating for anyone that wants to soak up the sunshine. Very small food menu of pizza with meat and pizza without both delicious Detroit style made fresh to order. Cant go wrong for a brew and beer at this hidden jem in new center

My kid 5, loved the pizza (without the hot honey sauce) and I love beer so this place works for both of us. I think the summer is probably a bit better for kids hanging outside but we claimed the couch and it was a nice setup. Got my butt kicked by a 5 year old at WAR but all good. Another beer helped with the loss.

This was both of our first trips to Tenacity in Detroit. We have been to the one in Flint and we enjoyed it! We both needed tags for this location so it was perfect. It was a week night and all was pretty quiet. We were able to sample a few of their beers and both ended up ordering the Amber which we really enjoyed. I don't think this location has food. It was pretty chilly in there but I'm always cold. The beer tender was helpful and passionate about his job. For sure we will be back :)

Went here for a first date meet up. Bartender was super cool. Vibe was super chill. Loved the decor and the blueberry beer they had.

Brand new brewery location, they are a satellite location with the main location in Flint so not their first rodeo! You would not know it was a brewery from the outside unless you knew where you were going as there is no signage out front! New signage with the Brewery name might definitely help drive business! But chill vibe with lots of outside seating which is my favorite this time of year! Lots of beer options to the point I had a hard time deciding my flight so there is something for everyone's taste! They also have their own version of what I would consider calzones which were very delicious! Awesome spot and would love to check it out again to try even more of their enormous beer list!

New Brew Pub in the city! What an absolutely cool spot, located in a city neighborhood. The main location is in Flint. They have a nice selection of beers and the mead was equally delish! I found it interesting that they don't name their beers here. They want to see what people order based on taste and not simply a name. I'm all about the Blueberry Wheat. Guess what? They are also on the TagaBrew trail. Come on out snd support this new pub. Live music on many nights They place appears to still be under renovation, but I just love it!

I don't know why more dog lovers don't come here all the time. Just a short walk from 3rd street barkpark, they have an outdoor area and are dog friendly. Not to mention they have a good selection of microbrews. Outdoor area is great.

Loved the dark wheat beer and good vibes in an unlikely location. And there's a farm out back!

This is my favorite brewery in the neighborhood. Relaxed atmosphere, fantastic beers... just a great place to meet up and chill.

Very artsy little place with some outdoor seating and a hip little interior vibe with coffee as well and that's a cool thing to see every once in awhile. Super Nintendo, a piano, leather couch... just check it out

When first looking for this place I wasn't sure if the building was the right one but, it was it! It's a great local brewery with a friendly staff. They a great variety of beer, great place to stop in for a good beer!

Tenacity has a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the beers and service. They offer coffee on Monday mornings which I will definitely check out if I'm in the area. It's pretty far away from a lot of the other breweries and popular bars in the city, but I kind of like that. It was only a few minute drive from Midtown.

So sad because I've been meaning to try this place. The man left in charge of the bar was not friendly and did not know what is really going on. Claimed it was his first day. The beer was great but needs a more friendlier touch. Will be back to try again but hopefully the vibe will be different.

I cannot say enough great things- amazing spot, highly recommend. Great beer and drinks, and an absolutely delightful staff/ owner.
