"Four year old Flint-based beer maker Tenacity Brewing is plotting a Detroit expansion. The brewery’s co-owner Jason Caya tells Crain’s that a coffee bar-taproom spinoff called Tenacity Craft is heading to a building at 8517 Second Ave. in the Virginia Park neighborhood just north of New Center. The new 2,000-square-foot outpost will feature onsite coffee roasting and brewing. The bar will also have a menu of snacks including pastries and items like nachos and tacos. If Tenacity receives state licensing approvals, wine and cocktails will also be on the menu." - Brenna Houck
