"Tenoch’s tortas combine all that is good in the world—soft bread, perfectly tender grilled meats, and zingy sauces—into one unbelievable lunch. Our favorites are the asada, featuring smokey charred beef, and the life-changing melty choriqueso that’s loaded with fried chorizo and melted cheese. Round out your order with their creamy horchata, and don’t sweat it when your large, saucy sandwich inevitably falls apart. Tenoch’s casual dining room is a forgiving spot for torta mishaps. " - lala thaddeus

"Over the years, this popular spot has become a staple in Davis, with a menu updated to include breakfast options. It’s best known for its tortas: Mexican sandwiches made with meat, sauce, and fluffy white telera rolls. In addition to the fabulous and affordable tortas, Tenoch also makes excellent burritos and tacos. Originally from Medford, this shop has expanded to locations in Boston, Cambridge, Malden, and Melrose." - Valerie Li Stack

"It’s no secret that the Tenoch tortas are exceptional. Tenoch — a small local chain with locations in Medford, Somerville, Melrose, and Boston’s North End — also has torta options that are fairly unique compared to the rest of the Boston torta scene, with both pescado (fish) and vegetales (roasted vegetables) on the menu. A spread of chipotle mayo on all of the tortas guarantees a creamy, spicy, and flavorful sandwich every time." - Karen Wilber

"Pretty much everything’s good at Tenoch, a counter-service Mexican place on Highland, so if you grab some tacos with carnitas or chorizo and melted cheese, you’ll be happy. But you really should be coming here for the tortas. The bread is perfectly toasted, they’re all under $10, and they’re stuffed with some great fillings like adobo pork or roasted vegetables. If you don’t know where to start, go with the campechana, which has both chorizo and carnitas." - dan secatore

The Tortas are simply a must get here! A delicious blend of just about everything u can think of including meat of your choice, cheese, veggies, avocado in a thick bread. Food is very savory and will fill you up. It also has a nice hint of spice which was a bonus. It is definitely a nice change from just eating burritos all the time! Highly recommend.

Stopped by this eatery after gym for the first time. I tried Plato. Very good. My husband tried Asada. Very very good. Definitely a repeat. Inside is clean. I like that. Next time I will try something else on their menu.

Google
We went here for lunch and it was just okay. Not great vegetarian options. The Vegetable Torta was fine, but not great- perhaps the meat ones are better. Beware that the Maize Quesadilla is more like an enchilada because of all the sauce on it. It just tasted like a ton of cheese but was pretty good, particularly with the addition of their chips. Not horrible for a quick bite, but wouldn’t recommend given the quality of other places in the area.

Google
Great little Mexican place a few steps away from Davis Square. We all got different tortas and had a great time. I like restaurants that just cut straight to the point with good food and a place to sit. I personally got the fish torta. It was soft and fresh and tasty! Definitely coming back.

Google
I regret avoiding Tenoch, because I have some high standards for Mexican food. Like why did I do that to myself? My friends love Tenoch's tortas and I see why, even though I'm not a torta fan. The bread is perfect - just ever so slightly crispy and not like you're biting into a cracker. The filling is hefty and flavorful and I was left feeling so full. However. I am a taco stan. And their tacos are CHEFS KISS. They're one of the best places in Boston. Every taco is fully loaded, the meats are flavorful, and I haven't had a dry one yet. Whenever the horchata is available , GET IT. It's also one of the best one I've had here. Not overwhelming sweet and nicely cinnamon-y!

Google
Ordered 4 quesadillas and two tacos online for pickup. Recieved four of the most undercooked and incorrect burritos and tacos. Not one quesadilla.

Manny M.

Google
Very good tacos & tortas. All the different types of meat were delicious. I ended up getting the carne Asada & I must say it’s one of those very few places where the meat has little to no fat on it , & I absolutely loved it. Can’t complain as it was fast service & a quick bite to eat. Does get busy sometimes but they keep it moving pretty fast, would recommend if your in the mood for some tacos.

Google
Small Mexican joint with good variety. Prices are good, staff was friendly. They are mostly known for their 'tortas'. I tried the pastor and it was good. Not great but good. The tacos looked great. Well located near Davis Sq. I would recommend you go try it once or if you're around.

Yelp
I recently dined at Tenoch Mexican restaurant and it exceeded all my expectations! The variety of flavorful tacos left my taste buds dancing, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with attentive service, made the dining experience truly enjoyable. I can confidently say this is a five-star gem for any taco enthusiast.

Lucy L.

Yelp
Sad to say I thought the Huarache with Asada was pretty terrible. The "Huarache" was just a larger corn tortilla. There were some potatoes lettuce and minced beef as "Asada" on top. They only had salsa Verde and it was kept in the hot table along with the other meats so it was boiled to death with no flavor, heat or tartness. No limes had touched it. I do not understand the high ratings. I'm bitter that yelp let me down sooo bad.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Just needed a quick snack. Wished I'd had more room because I wanted every taco on the menu. Settled on carnitas & sangria at an outside table.

Yelp
Out of the other Mexican taquerias in Davis Square, this is the best one Ive tried. I had the chicken burrito and taco de suadero. The chicken burrito was close to what I was looking for - good size, not too salty, includes all the textures. I wish that it was a little bit spicier because the side salsa we received did not have a kick. I would skip on the tacos, unless you are fine with tortilla that looks like its just from the grocery store. The meat however tasted great. I just wish that the sauce enhance it a little better. As for the service, I was standing in front of the cook for at least 5 minutes not knowing where to take the order. I hope they at least acknowledged me! But when they did take my order, they were kind and serviceable. I definitely like the decor in the walls and ceilings. Great location to chill and enjoy the ambiance. Overall this would have to be my go-to spot for burritos, and I will still be on a mission to find a spot for tacos.

Sharon P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the tostada, loaded with shredded pork. It hit the spot on a very cold night. Tenoch has a great menu, fast and friendly service, clean tables and very good value.

Isaiah T.

Yelp
Pretty good food, but the employees have really bad attitudes. I want to enjoy the food, but it's always soaking in grease from the meat. They don't drain it even after I asked them not to. The place is a little small and mostly clean. Please do better so I can come back

Barrett F.

Yelp
The food is really good, my only qualm is you've got to choose wisely a few of the burrito/tacos can be a bit on the greasy side. Nonetheless, I'll continue to go back, it's good food and super quick.

Angela S.

Yelp
What looks at first sight like a Chipotle knock-off offers much more than any chain ever could, doing so in an approachable and unpretentious manner. I've eaten a LOT of Mexican food in my life. I grew up on Taco Bell (gross, huh?), and eventually graduated from TexMex like ChiChi's and eventually your favorite local place that charges $9 for a 3# plate of food. Then my parents retired to Arizona where I first got a taste of AUTHENTIC Mexican food... and Tenoch took me back to the moment I realized just how GOOD Mexican food can be... when not ruined by us Americans. It doesn't matter what you want... tacos? Got 'em. Enchiladas? The best I've had in Boston in the 3+ years I've lived here. Tortas? Never had 'em, but people rave about them (I'll get to this later). Chips n' guac/salsa? Homemade and as good as they look/smell. Tenoch delivers the goods on a price point that undercuts the major players in the market (Chipotle, Anna's, etc.) and ooze value while delivering better tasting food. While they are universally known for their tortas (essentially cheese-stuffed paninis with meats and other toppings), I went with the enchiladas mole. Mole is one of those things that is either amazing, or cheaply done and nasty. There is no middle-of-the-road mole, and Tenoch is damn near the top - even when compared to the mole I've had in Arizona and Mexico. My wife had the tacos and they were fantastic. It's not a fancy place, it's not your bloated American chain, and it's NOT bland. You get better food at a cheaper price while supporting a small, local business. It's literally around the corner from us and we will become regulars. If you like authentic Mexican food, Tenoch is a MUST try.

Bonnie K.

Yelp
I ordered the pescado plate and the fried fish was dried, burnt and stale. Otherwise the plate including beans, rice, salsa, salad is all good. Unfortunately this is not the first time. It started perhaps a couple years ago that I noticed they no longer cook the pescado when you order. It's pre-made and sitting around.

Yelp
Update on my review from a year ago: Tenoch is definitely the best Mexican food in the Boston area. It is very close to my favorite restaurant in the area, too. Their tortas are FIRE. wowee those tortas taste good. They really stand out from the crowd. Their meats are so rich and savory. It's the perfect torta! As I mentioned in my previous review, I love the chicharron torta, but any flavor is good. Their chips also surprised me. They're actually quite addictive. Usually I don't expect to be wowed by chips and guac, but Tenoch's chips are next-level. I'm not sure why, but they have an amazing crunch to them. Maybe they're extra deep fried or something.

Alice D.

Yelp
Fantastic quality, amazing taste, kind service. What more can you ask for? I've only been here once before, but Tenoch never fails to disappoint. We came here for an early Wednesday dinner and were the only ones in the store upon ordering, but once we sat down the line really picked up. It seems like most people order takeout and don't eat in the storefront, but that might be a side effect of COVID and extra safety precautions. We were given our food pretty quickly upon ordering and you pick it up at the counter when dining in so it's not table service. You also can get some water from the front as they have a pitcher and some cups. Nonetheless, the space is friendly and casual and has a very chill ambiance. The quality and quantity of the food for its price is truly a steal. The torta is very filling and the chips and guac were made to perfection - wouldn't change a thing. I loved the bread the torta came on and how it was toasted to a wonderful crispy texture. If you're ever in the Davis area and want quality Mexican food, this is the spot to go to. Can't wait to go back and try their other dishes!

Camille C.

Yelp
Just came here for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back! We had the pastor torta and steak burrito. For my fellow spicy fans, you _must_ try their homemade habanero sauce. I want to take a bottle of it home it's so good!!

Pinkpeony L.

Yelp
Convenient little location of a small chain in a fun neighborhood. There are a few tables inside as well as outside. It's the typical torta, taco, burrito, enchilada, quesadilla place with choices of rice, beans, protein, and fillings.

Albert K.

Yelp
Best, no frills tortas, tacos, and burritos! Can't believe I have not tried this place till now after being in Boston area for almost 6 years. I would say this place is equivalent to El Pelon in Fenway and Chilacates. They offer variety of meats as well as a fish and a veggie option for your tacos and burritos. I tried their carne asada and my partner had their veggie offering, safe to say they were both great. Serving size was large and you could customize your meal however you like. The price point was good with better ingredients than your local Chipotle. Service was fast with a choice of sit down vs take out. Highly recommend this place to anyone who want to kick it up a notch from their usual Chipotle cravings!

Jason B.

Yelp
Best Mexican food I've had in Boston. It's comparable to the food I grew up with in LA, and that my mom made at home. The torta de milanesa is my favorite atm but ask me next week and my answer mag be different. Friendly coworkers that make me feel at home. My only wish is for spicier salsa options!

Andres D.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this little Mexican joint. The kitchen is real small here but they still manage to provide an impressive array of options. Came with a couple friends and all were happy. Of course they have the classic stuff you expect at an American Mexican place but they also had more deep cuts that I appreciated. The ambiance is very casual, and in fact the whole vibe is set up for a "come in quickly for takeout" experience, but eating in wall still fine. Not stellar but pretty cheap and well worth the price. Check it out!

Chief L.

Yelp
The food and service were excellent. Small place but had nice, flavorful, and fresh authentic food. Would highly recommend if you're in the mood for some Mexican food in the area.

Cindy H.

Yelp
No frills Mexican food that will not disappoint. I don't like tortas that much so I haven't tried them here, but the plates, tacos, and chips + guac are amazing. If you have the chips, you can't go back to something like Chipotle (and I hate that I am comparing them because Tenoch deserves so much better than that). If your bag of tortilla chips aren't greasy, you are doing it wrong. The guac is perfection and this is coming from a connoisseur of guac.

Stefanie Y.

Yelp
If Tenoch had existed back when I was at college in the area, I would have been here at least once a week. With a large menu featuring tortas, tacos, quesadillas, and more, and with all tacos very reasonably priced in the ~$3.50 range, you can't go wrong! I walked in sure that I wanted a torta. It was a cold day and something bready sounded perfect. Well...I saw the menu and knew I wanted to try as many flavor combos as possible, so tacos it was. All three of us ended up with carne asada (which were very hyped before we went and more than lived up to it!) and the fish tacos (which were fresh, crisp, and super tasty), but I also got the lengua taco, which was flavorful and tender. I appreciated the double-wrapped tortillas and the simple condiments of raw onion, cilantro, and green salsa, though I would have preferred self-serve salsa since they went a bit heavy on the pour. Orders come out lightning fast and there is counter and table seating, so we opted to just eat there, which I would recommend especially if you order the fish taco. Really looking forward to the next time I'm in the area so I can try one of those tortas!

James Z.

Yelp
Many of my friends from around Somerville and Cambridge speak very highly of Tenoch, even fondly when they've moved away from Davis/Porter. I'd have to say, more times than not I've been disappointed by when I've had at Tenoch. The good: The Torta are very good! Big sandwich that is very filling, and they have a ton of different filling options. If you're going to Tenoch, try a Torta! The not so good: The tacos at Tenoch are mediocre, sorrynotsorry. Small, bland, chewy tortilla... I've had them a few times and every time I've wished I had ordered something different. The Huarache wasn't anything to write home about either. It was a good helping of food but the flavors just weren't great. Maybe their carnitas are the filling to go with? I haven't had anything else from Tenoch but the Torta will probably be my go-to for now since they are close to my apartment. Their service is pretty fast and it isn't too expensive. Just really not a fan of their tacos.

Cristina R.

Yelp
The thing to get at Tenoch is the TORTA, aka Mexican sandwich of the gods. The soft bread perfectly absorbs the meaty juices and houses the white, stringy cheese. Each bite is bliss. Tenoch tacos are also solid and pretty affordable (for Boston). I especially enjoy the lamb one since you don't often see that option. The meat is tasty, and the toppings and tortilla taste fresh. Don't miss out on a geography - err tacography - lesson by checking out the map on the wall! It depicts where different tacos are from in Mexico. Now I just need to try them all!

Gauravi P.

Yelp
Can I live here? This is one of those establishments that cooks quality delicious Mexican food and charges quality prices. We came here on a sunny day later in the afternoon for lunch. There wasn't much of a crowd which was wonderful because Tenoch can get very crowded around typical meal hours. We ordered: 1.) Chorizo Taco 2.) Lamb Taco 3.) Chicken Quesadilla Both were delicious. I loaded my chicken quesadilla up too much so it ended up being more of a burrito which I was pretty happy about. Definitely come here if you love Mexican food and want an inexpensive and tasty bite to eat. Please note that this location does not serve breakfast despite the sign saying they do on their front glass door.

Rachel C.

Yelp
It's 100 degrees outside today and the Somerville branch doesn't have any AC. I'm pretty horrified that, with all the heatwaves that have been happening and all the heat warnings, management has just not cared about thier team's health. The staff was doing the best they could to mitigate the heat, but I was winded after 5 minutes. I can't imagine how hot it was behind the stove, and the staff have been there for hours. This is an OSHA violation. How dare you treat your staff like that?

Anna F.

Yelp
In torta heaven right now! Got the asada torta- fresh bread, steak, cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeño, and pickled onion. Has mayo too- so be sure to let them know if you don't want. A Mexican coke is the perfect pairing :).

Bruce K.

Yelp
After seeing all the perfect scores of this place, I just had to try it out and it did not disappoint. I walked by this place the other night when we decided to eat excellent Greek food that's just right next door. This review will be short and to the point: The meats here are awesome. I got the salad and picked al pastor as the meat and it did not disappoint. The salad was huge and was extremely filling, but on top of that I also ordered the tacos which were amazing out right by itself. I came out stuffed. This place is a small take out spot, but by all means there's plenty of seatings for those who eat their meals fast or just want to eat it there. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quick take out spot or something quick to eat. Tenoch will quench your craving for Mexican food. The burritos here are pretty massive as well, and if you decide to get that I would suggest that's all you get.

Catherine M.

Yelp
Would HIGHLY recommend this place. It was my first time going as one of my friends lives in the area. I had gotten a chicken burrito with everything in it and my boyfriend had the pastor torta. We both had a corona as well. They were super friendly, fast and efficient. I would definitely go back to try the tacos.

qiang s.

Yelp
Ordered 5 items takeout via grubhub, only received 4 items. Phone number can only goes into voice mail. Bad experience, can not believe there are so many positive feedback. Be cautious online reviews.

Jingwen Z.

Yelp
I've lived in the area for 10 months now and had no idea this place was so close by - and now I regret not having gone sooner! After moving to Boston, I have been hoping to find a Mexican place that lives up to my previous favorite place, and I think this is it. I had their al pastor torta this time around (one of my favorite items). The serving size is pretty generous for $8. The bread was actually one of my favorite parts - perfectly delicious and toasty. The meat is well-seasoned (though the sauce can get a bit too salty - water is key) and pairs really well with the large slice of pineapple that they put in the torta. I usually never finish entire tortas in a sitting, yet I finished this one (with some regret immediately after but also not really because it was so freaking GOOD). I will definitely be back to try some of their other items (I hope...the al pastor torta certainly set a high bar and it may become my go-to eventually). For comparison: I used to usually stop by Felipe's since it's also not too far from me, but once the novelty wore off, I realized their food is actually not amazing. Tastes fine, but messy and not finely assembled - if you've been there, you know. This was way better in terms of taste, ingredients, and presentation...and ambience and everything else. A new favorite spot!!

Melena S.

Yelp
This is a nice little Mexican place right by Davis Square with bomb ass food. It's not a dine in restaurant. You order at the counter, pick up your food, and sit wherever you want which is what I prefer for this type of food. I got a burrito and sangria. Sangria, bomb. Burrito, it was okay but I think if I got tacos, I would've been satisfied. Their burritos do have a lot in it, which I appreciate, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I got here right before the lunch rush, so I was able to get a table and my food in a timely manner. My friend came around the lunch rush and was still able to get their food in a timely manner. They have hot sauce that you should definitely get with your food, it just makes it so much better. Definitely coming back to try their tacos, love me some tacos. Parking in Somerville is bad as is and this is no exception. There is street parking but I had a tough time finding some so I parked in a parking lot and walked a little bit. Wasn't too bad though!

Madison M.

Yelp
Excellent food! I really enjoyed my carne asada burrito, and heard great things from my friends who ordered tortas. Will definitely come back!

Christina Y.

Yelp
I've been to Tenoch for the Torta Tenoch (very good) but this review is for their Breakfast Burrito: 12" flour tortilla, eggs, beans, potatoes, cheese, chipotle mayo, and ham (or chorizo). It's huge but it's SO good. This is not a burrito with an egg in it, this is the good stuff I dream about. This might be the closest thing to Austin-style breakfast tacos in the area? Or at least within a distance that my lazy butt can get to by 11am.

Ben P.

Yelp
Ordered takeout twice. Quesadilla both times, first time was pork and chorizo, which was good but the texture was a bit meh. Second time I got the steak. Both times I ordered extra meat. Food was very tasty and I really have no complaints. I definitely plan to return.

Franklin M.

Yelp
Best Mexican food in Boston. I've been coming here for several years now, they're consistently good. Their Tortas are something else, just thinking of them brings me joy.

John T.

Yelp
I crave the chorizo Torta! Greasy spicy goodness! Try it out. A little messy but worth it. Trust me.

Molly G.

Yelp
THIS. IS. THE. BEST. BURRITO. SPOT. IN. MASSACHUSETTS. Shoot, I would even go so far as to say the east coast. Their chicarron is the stuff dreams are made of and every bite of their tortas are heavenly. Since moving to JP a little over a year ago I make up excuses to run errands up in Somerville/Cambridge so I can be "in the neighborhood" to grab some Tenoch far too often. My current go-to? For the past year or so they've had a torta tres quesos on their specials menu (only at the Somerville location!) and I'm genuinely drooling as I type at my laptop just thinking about it. Gooey, melty cheese over your choice of protein (I go with the chicharron OBVI), sharply acidic pickled onions and peppers, a smear of refried beans, all on their famous telera bread. Order it now - thank me later. Don't forget to add a side of homemade guac and chips to your meal - always worth it. They also have some latino sodas and usually a few beer options too though I'm not sure how that's impacted by take out only. During covid they've pivoted to no indoor seating and a well spaced waiting line. You can also order and pay online or over the phone to grab and go. Everyone I saw was wearing a mask and they have hand sanitizer available. Love Tenoch. Will always love Tenoch. Please open a branch in JP.

paula w.

Yelp
Finally a place that gets it. I left full! I got the chicken burrito, and now I need a nap. So good. Don't waste your money on the other places, and their chintzy portions. Left off a star, cause I only had the one thing. Will be back!!

Iris I.

Yelp
Best Tortas around! All the food I've had here is very flavorful and the price is right. Staff is friendly and super attentive which is a huge plus!

Jose B.

Yelp
Same crepe as the rest of these mexican't joints in boston they don't even try it seems they misrepresente the culture and disrespect the clientele's food iq ijs.

Jillian K.

Yelp
My favorite place for quick Mexican food in Davis square. There are quite a few similar options in Davis square to grab a burrito but this has to be my favorite. The restaurant is small but cute and clean, plus all the food is easily taken on the go so the size isn't a problem. I ordered the Adobado house burrito which is pork with plantains - a new take for me and I'm glad I branched out!! Excited to try out the other options there.

Alyssa N.

Yelp
This spot is the bomb. If i lived in the area I'd be here once a week minimum. Service was fast as can be and the menu has so many good options. I like the tortas best, but the burritos and tacos are good too! I also love their salsa it's super fresh and tasty.

Brice B.

Yelp
Sometimes the burritos can be a little salty but the lamb burrito is great. Add a little hot sauce to the lamb burrito and you're good to go!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Fast food you can feel good about. Everything tasted good and fresh. Came in on a Sunday after watching Netflix taco chronicles. So we were ready! We tried carnitas, al pastor, chicken, steak, chicharrón tacos. Carnitas was the favorite. All really juicy and delicious. Price point is good, I wouldn't want to pay more than $3.25 per taco. They also have the full assortment of jarritos sodas as well as beer. They have a cool map that tells you the regions and their respective tacos. Staff was really friendly and it looked like they were having a great time at work. They have high chairs! The only unpleasant part of the experience was the AC wasn't working. We came back the next day to pick up dinner after work. I got the carnitas tacos and hubby got a torta, he made his own and combined carnitas and chicken. I had a bite, it was delicious. Definitely a wonderful, casual place to grab a bite or pick up food when you have a lazy day! I don't recommend Watching taco chronicles before you go, you may go overboard and over estimate how many tacos you should eat!

Heather M.

Yelp
Nothing but good things to say about tenoch. They are consistently great. The Davis square location is small but bright and inviting and while most people take their food to go but there is plenty of space to nestle in and take a seat (pre-covid). The tortas are the restaurants show stoppers in my humble opinion. They have perfected this Mexican sandwich. The soft baked bread, crisp & gooey cheese, the chipotle Mayo & meat all compliment each other so well. The bread soaks up all the juices and flavors and traps them so that you don't miss a note.

Rati V.

Yelp
Look no further for THE BEST BURRITO EVER. I know this is contentious and there are many wonderful burritos in Boston, but they have an incredible technique here where the meat and cheese is grilled together before the rest of the toppings are added, and it's a game changer. I ate here all throughout college and now that I'm back in the area I can't stay away. It's also just a very cute spot to eat, but I almost always get take-out. I heard the rest of their food is great too but I'll never know because I'm ordering that burrito every time until I die.

Kie W.

Yelp
I was so excited to order takeout, but a couple things went wrong. I selected a breakfast burrito because it was available on the takeout menu. Then, a few minutes later, I got a phone call saying that the breakfast burritos aren't available anymore at that time. That took me by surprise - and I was asked what I want instead. I struggled to think of options also not knowing what options I had and any constraints related to difference in price. I hastily said a veggie burrito, and also asked for guacamole. Went to pick up the burrito, got home to find that it was just rice, black beans, vegetables, NO guacamole or standard condiments to a burrito like cheese, sour cream, etc. PLEASE make sure your takeout menu is up to date by time of day, and if an option isn't available, the least you can do is to be thoughtful about alternatives you can offer, and trying to fulfill that order.

Yelp
A MUST TRY. I was craving tacos so I decided to try this eccentric place. I got the carnitas and took a small but appropriate sized bite. Best tacos ever. Their menu was almost unlimited. They make other tacos seem dull. YOU HAVE TO GO. - (Written by a ten year old;)

Yelp
These tortas are authentic af! It reminded me of Mexico City as I was eating it. The place looks small but it can fit lots of people. They do have other options that I will definitely try. My only complaint about this place is the young rude cashier. I was asking questions about some of their options and she was rudely addressing them not to mention she felt the need to scold me for skipping line. Had she bothered to ask and not just assumed, she would of known that the people in line were undecided and had told me to go ahead. I don't let snarky rude people deter me from anything and you shouldnt either! Try this torta!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Last minute saw the tres queso option for the Tortas, so I went with that with the veggies. They literally take 3 kinda of cheese, toss it on the grill until it's crispy, and put it on your sandwich. Clearly that's all one needs, but all the other extras on the sandwich like the mayo and beans are amazing as well. I can't wait to try the other things on the menu, but it would be hard to pass up getting the torta again! I would love for a veggie protein option like tofu or something similar to chipotle sofritas, but the veggies and beans were really great so can't complain too much on that front. Not to mention, the meal was 12 dollars including a corona!! There is definitely no better place that I've had Mexican food in Boston. Period.
