The 12 Best Hot Pot Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"Don a bib, hit the build-your-own sauce station (the crispy fried garlic oil is a winner), and get ready to worship at the altar of beef at Teo HotPot, a slick, high-tech induction hob operation in Fitzrovia. Teochew-style hot pot is all about high-quality beef cuts, soy-brine-marinated meats, and bouncy handmade fish and beef balls. It’s simpler and features a less oily broth, with an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients and subtle flavours. For broth options, try bitter melon or tomato soybean. Individual pots are also available, so vegetarians and vegans can choose their adventure, but where’s the fun in a solo hot pot? Non-hot pot highlights include deep-fried squid and crispy, gooey oyster omelette." - angela hui

Lovely fresh hotpot, really nice atmosphere and service. Fresh beef and vegetables, we choose the half mushroom and half beef bone soup base. The mushrooms one are rich and make the beef taste tastier and the beef bone soup base tastes sweet with the radish and sweetcorn, both soup base are drinkable. The rice stick are highlight, it just tastes so good with the satay sauce, highly recommend! Also the beef balls are so good, fresh and tender, taste definitely different with the frozen one. They also do cocktail, would definitely recommend!

I visited Teo Hotpot with my husband, mum, and aunt, and we had a fantastic experience. Nicky and the team provided excellent service — they were attentive, professional, efficient, and kind throughout our visit. The food was fresh and of high quality, and the environment was both unique and very clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again!

Really enjoyed my meal here. The ingredients were fresh, the broth had great flavor, and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially if you’re new to hot pot. The sauce bar was a nice touch, and everything came out quickly. The place was clean and had a relaxed vibe. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving hot pot. I’ll be back.

Very authentic Twochew (Chaoshan) hotpot experience, had the mooli soup base, tried different beef parts, all super fresh, and the Mickey pudding and munch bean pudding as deserts, super delicious 😋. Loved the decor of the restaurant, extremely nice presentation of the Chaoshan cultural elements, like the Kungfu tea, Chaozhou opera, Chaoshan lanterns. The waiters were extremely friendly, did an excellent job at explaining the hotpot experience to us, made useful recommendations, and were extremely attentive to us. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Would definitely visit again with more friends!

This is THE BEST hotpot in London! The clean and clear flavours reminded me of local Hong Kong hotpots, and upon some digging, Teo hotpot was established in Guangdong, so no wonder the Canton flavours are evident. Every part of the beef we ordered was delicious, favourites being the picanha cut which was super soft and tender, and the handmade beef balls were just incredible! They even had tripe on the menu which is my fav! The individual hotpot was such a great idea - I had the tomato, soy bean beef broth which was so delicious and my friends chose the bitter melon, dendrobium beef broth and satay beef broth, also very good. The staff were super lovely and attentive, the restaurant is air conditioned and spacious which made for a very comfortable dining experience. One of our friends has allergies and she was taken seriously, with the manager going through all the allergens with her whilst referring to a folder file with all the food info. Really professional. Everything was so good that I am already plotting my next visit!

We went to Teo Hot Pot as a sixteenth birthday treat after I had read the amazing reviews and wanting to try a hot pot in London. The restaurant didn’t disappoint! There are a delicious range of soup bases and we had a different one each. The quality of the beef, squid and vegetables was very high and fresh. My daughter’s boyfriend really enjoyed the meatballs which were so tasty as did I and he loved being able to cook his own food in such a wholesome way. We enjoyed some delicious and light puddings too and will definitely come back! The staff were so helpful and friendly which added to the experience.

We stumbled in on a whim with no idea what to expect. Dining was an experience! The staff was helpful and understanding; the food was delicious. Two ingredients per person hit the spot for us and it's easy to adjust for bigger and smaller appetites.

I recently visited Teo Hotpot in London, and honestly, it was such a cozy experience. The vibe inside is super clean and spacious, and it’s perfect for group dining – there's enough room to comfortably sit with friends or family and share the meal. The interior’s got this really nice Chaoshan style going on, which gives it a unique touch and makes it feel warm and inviting. Now, the beef? Wow. It’s super fresh, sliced really thin, and so tender. You can tell it’s high-quality because it’s got that perfect amount of marbling, which makes it melt in your mouth. If you're a beef lover, this is the place to be. I couldn’t get enough of it! The hotpot broth is something special too. They’ve got this slow-cooked beef bone broth that’s rich and full of flavor. It’s the kind of broth you just want to keep sipping. And the satay sauce? Must-try. It has this perfect kick to it that adds a whole new level of flavor to everything. I was dipping beef into that sauce, and it was *chef's kiss*. Oh, and let’s talk about the house specialty drinks. They’ve got some really interesting ones that pair nicely with the meal. Definitely worth trying out, just to add something extra to the experience. If you're into beef like I am, you’ll love Teo Hotpot. It’s a great spot to chat with friends about your favorite cuts of beef and try out new ones. I’m curious – what’s your go-to beef for hotpot? I highly recommend grabbing a shot of the beef being dipped into the broth in slow motion – it’s just so satisfying to watch. Overall, Teo Hotpot’s got that perfect combination of great food, cozy atmosphere, and authentic Chaoshan flavors. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
