Nestled atop Eataly, Terra serves up wood-grilled Italian delights with a lively atmosphere, perfect for everything from casual lunches to special celebrations.
"Eataly’s in-store restaurant Terra — which features a wood-burning grill — is offering New Year’s Eve dinner takeout packages for two, four, and eight people. The dinner for two option ($130) includes a salumi platter, honey-roasted ham, roasted Brussels sprouts, coal-roasted potatoes, creamy polenta, and candied fruits for dessert. Orders must be placed by December 27 (email bostonpreorders@eataly.com, or call (617) 807-7300) and can be picked up on December 31." - Terrence Doyle
"Terra, the restaurant on the top floor of Eataly, is supposedly famous for its wood-fired grill and oven. We actually like the greenhouse-style roof and hanging plants more, but hey, we weren’t hired to be part of their marketing team. We were hired, however, to eat food, which is hit or miss here. Most of the grilled items are pretty decent, if a little pricey (the brick chicken is $28, for instance), but we’ve had better pasta elsewhere. Nevertheless, it’s still a great spot to enjoy some vermouth, especially if the outdoor patio is open. Terra is currently open for indoor and outdoor dining, as well as takeout and delivery." - Joel Ang
"This newer sibling to Piattini (see below) features brick-oven pizzas (including a vegan option and a gluten-free option), pasta, hefty salads, and lots more. [Full service]" - Dana Hatic
