Terra - Review - Back Bay - Boston - The Infatuation

"Terra, the restaurant on the top floor of Eataly, is supposedly famous for its wood-fired grill and oven. We actually like the greenhouse-style roof and hanging plants more, but hey, we weren’t hired to be part of their marketing team. We were hired, however, to eat food, which is hit or miss here. Most of the grilled items are pretty decent, if a little pricey (the brick chicken is $28, for instance), but we’ve had better pasta elsewhere. Nevertheless, it’s still a great spot to enjoy some vermouth, especially if the outdoor patio is open. Terra is currently open for indoor and outdoor dining, as well as takeout and delivery." - Joel Ang

Where to Eat Near Hynes Convention Center in Boston’s Back Bay | Eater Boston

"Wood-fired dishes are the thing to get at Terra, located on the upper level of the Prudential Center’s Eataly Boston and open for lunch and dinner. Get a selection of charcuterie and cheese with one of Terra’s cocktails, or opt for wine and spaghetti al pomodoro. Terra also serves a “quick fire” lunch, with an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert, for $32. Those looking for something more fast-casual can peruse Eataly’s second floor, full of counter-service Italian options and a few other sit-down restaurants. [Full service]" - Dana Hatic

This place is a 4.5 however I gave it a 5, only thing I would take away is how expensive this place is. However the decor is unmatched, the service is impeccable, and the food is just enough that have you satisfied for the moment. Really like this place. I want to think of something to critique, however I couldn’t think of anything. Trust me I tried, even the open kitchen was cool. Really nice place, certainly will recommend and next time we in town we will return. Did i mention the espresso martini 🔥🔥🔥

This is such a beautiful spot for brunch and dinner! With a reservation, we were seated right away. Though the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Started off with Rustico bread, almost cut myself on the bread but it was still tasty. For drinks, I had Let it Bee while my friend had In Between Days, both were good but In Between Days for the win. For our main courses, I tried the perfectly al dente Spaghetto Pomodoro e Burrata, while my friends tried the Tonnarelli all' Astice and the Mafaldine al Ragu Di Terta. The food was a solid 10/10. Only one flaw, it was pretty big for us. I had been wanting to visit Terra for over a year and my best friend's birthday seemed like the perfect time to visit. I had put in a request for a tiramisu with the reservation. They completely forgot about it (this seems to be pattern and has happened to other guests). We had to go remind them about the birthday after they had brought us the dessert menus. Luckily they were able to add a candle last minute as they were bringing out the tiramisu.

Food was fabulous. Atmosphere was a gardener's dream: modern organic vibes like eating on a terrace that overlooked a tall building above it. The food was fresh pasta with a comforting feel. The tiramisu was to die for with a cascading sauce served tableside. Beautiful girls' night out or date night. I recommend a reservation.

Google
Loved this place! You have to go all the way to end/towards the back of Eataly before you see the stairs, but once you see it, you'll see a sign clearly which leads you to the rooftop. As soon as you reach the top of the stairs, it feels light and airy and you can see the kitchen to the right. I sat at the bar but was still able to appreciate the atmosphere. I had the chicken and the highly rated tiramisu. The chicken was moist and delicious and had the perfect level or crispy edges. The tiramisu was more than the picture can capture. It was creamy, light and delicious, I can say this was unlike any tiramisu I've ever had before. If you come here, you have to get it, or you're missing out!

Google
Exceptional experience! We are traveling for business and staying at Mandarin Oriental . We wanted to try Terra since it’s just steps away from our hotel. I was a little concerned about the food when I was reading the reviews before we went to the restaurant , but I have to say I was definitely impressed with the food, flavor, service and ambience! Everything was exceptional. Grilled giant shrimp is a must try~~ just the right amount of charred flavor. Otto bread with butter is right on. The spaghetti pomodoro was so al dental with just the right amount of sauce. I loved the hot roasted oyster . Now dessert …. Tiramisu is out of this world. Probably the best I have had …. Not overly sweet thank god! Service was excellent too, our server was very attentive , great attention to details! This place is worth flying back to Boston, said my DH.

Google
The experience at Terra was quite disappointing. The service was not very pleasant, which set the tone for the evening. Additionally, the dishes did not meet expectations; the food lacked flavor and felt very overrated compared to its price. Although the establishment had a promising ambiance, the lack of warmth in the service and the mediocre execution of the dishes make it hard to recommend for a satisfying culinary experience.

Google
the atmosphere here is so nice with the plants all around and the servers are very nice and friendly! my man and i got a few things to share, we loved the otto bread which came with butter and lard, so good!! the grilled prawn was disappointing, expensive but not a lot of meat; we were honestly expecting 3 or 4 large shrimps. lamb was good, definitely smaller than expected. wagyu was our main which we split, very delicious! the carrots threw us a off a little and the potatoes were good but lacked salt. the highlight for me was definitely the tiramisu! it was delicious, fluffy and airy. i loved the cream used, i’d get it again for sure!

Google
I visited Terra on a special occasion for brunch and my experience was mediocre at best. I did not have a reservation, but went up to the front desk and asked when a table would be available. I gave them my telephone number, and in about 15 minutes I got a text message telling me that my table was ready. Truth be told, the restaurant is nice inside, but I found the service and quality of the food to be lacking. We ordered the carbonara and salmon, which were close to $30 each, but the portions were incredibly small. The guanciale in the carbonara was overcooked to the point that it was as hard as a rock. In total, I'd be surprised if there was more than five mouthfuls of pasta there. The salmon was okay. It was my girlfriend's birthday, but they didn't have anything other than the ability to put a candle in a single pastry. The waiter actually forgot to do it until I reminded him after he had already brought the dessert to the table. However, it's important to note that the tiramisu was absolutely fantastic. Really mind blowing quality. The staff was a quite arrogant, any polite request, or interaction with them was not pleasant. It was as if we were annoyingly wasting their time instead of being treated as patrons at a nice restaurant. Furthermore, the plates smelled like bleach. Based on these factors I don't think I would come here again. The food sold downstairs at Eatily is quite good, but that doesn't also translate into the quality and service of the restaurant upstairs. If I were you I would definitely skip dining at Terra. There are many other better options in Boston. -1 star for service, -1 star for small portions for price, -1 star for poor food quality.

Yelp
We celebrated Father's Day here and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Christian was amazing -- he's very knowledgeable about the menu, took the time to explain everything to our parents, and even shared some Italian culinary traditions with us. He also made excellent recommendations for our table. We'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Came for the famous tiramisu, but ended up loving everything we ordered! This cozy little spot inside Eataly has a charming, nature-inspired vibe with lots of greenery and a warm open kitchen where you can watch the grill in action. We started with the lamb skewers ($17.50) -- nicely charred with that great charcoal flavor, though they could've been a bit juicier. The Cavatelli al Ragù di Terra ($32) was good but portion was kinda mini: the handmade pasta was perfectly chewy, and the pork and beef ragù was rich, hearty, and packed with flavor. The Tagliata ($49) was our favorite -- a wood-fired strip steak grilled to perfection: juicy, tender, and paired beautifully with roasted peppers and creamy mashed potatoes. And of course, the Tiramisu ($17) was the perfect finish. The mascarpone cream was soft and melt-in-your-mouth, balanced just right with cocoa powder -- light, luscious, and not overly sweet. We came at dinner time, so it was counter seating only, but the service was fast and attentive. Overall, a lovely experience -- definitely coming back!

Yelp
Disappointing Experience at Terra - Eataly Unfortunately, our recent visit to Terra left much to be desired. Several key elements fell short of expectations: Wine & Beverages: Both the rosé and white wines were unavailable chilled, and the sparkling water was also served warm. not ideal, especially on a warm day. Refrigeration issues! Food Quality: The octopus dish was undercooked and excessively fatty, lacking the tenderness and balance expected of such a dish. Service: There were noticeable delays in basic service, including a long wait for ice. Additionally, the server did not offer any recommendations, which would have been appreciated. Cleanliness & Safety: Most concerningly, there were rats seen near our table, a major health and cleanliness issue that seriously impacted our dining experience. We hope management takes these issues seriously and works to improve both service and sanitation standards.

Yelp
Great ambience. Service was friendly and laid-back. The food was just okay. The bread wasn't worth noting. The cauliflower plate was fine and got the job done. The pappardelle was very cheese-forward and lacked flavor complexity. I didn't enjoy the pasta's texture; it tasted overcooked or reheated. My friend's ravioli had a similar chalky feel. The stars of the meal were the desserts. The tiramisu was super fluffy and balanced--not too sweet or heavy. The terra tasted exactly like Ferrero Rocher. I'd honestly skip the meal and just order desserts next time.

Yelp
The setting and decorations are unmatched at Terra. The hanging plants and cute floral arrangements make this place the perfect spot for a date or a cute friendly lunch. I went with my mom and we had the best time! The service was good and our waitress was very attentive! The food was also good, but I do have a few little minor things! The chicken was a bit dry which is a bummer considering it is just chicken, a pesto sauce, and carrots. I wish that it was moister and that the skin wasn't so chewy. The carrots were tasty though! The stand out dish was probably the tagliatelle with the meat sauce. It was hearty and very tasty. And the pasta was cooked to perfection! The bread was good and I did like it with the butter and whipped lard--smoky. We also got the fondue but i didn't love how the side "bread" was croutons and we had to pick them up with little fondue sticks. It was impossible to eat! we got it to go with our bread rather than the croutons which seemed pointless. Again, the views were gorgeous and the food is good, but I feel as though I'd come back for the atmosphere before I'd come back for the dishes.

Yelp
It is a nice spot for some light fare and drinks. It was booked up Friday night but yet had plenty of empty seats and tables. Fortunately we squeezed in between some cancellations. The potatoes we love are back. Pork chop was good, juicy and tender. The service team was good. Christian introduced himself but then someone else tended to us during the entire dining experience. We didn't catch her name but she was nice. It was not so busy around 6pm but it was slowly building up. I would not rank this as $$. For the same amount of money I can go across the prudential center and get much more, feeling more fulfilled. This is more of a pricey establishment compared to neighboring options.
google avatar

Kirsten B.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful inside but this is the first time I ate on their patio. It was lovely and there was a nice breeze with the prudential building towering above you. The service was also very good they were so attentive. Will definitely go back!

Anna C.

Yelp
Okay so I don't usually leave reviews, but I absolutely have to shout out our server Christian because he was genuinely the best server I've ever had. Like... ever. He was super friendly and attentive without being overbearing, somehow always appeared at the exact right time, and gave really solid recommendations (which I actually took and loved -- rare for me). And THEN... he gave me cat stickers?? Like, actual adorable cat stickers?? I don't even know how to explain how happy that made me. It was such a small thing but also felt weirdly personal and thoughtful in the best way. I left dinner in a noticeably better mood than I came in, and honestly that was mostly because of Christian. If you go, seriously, ask to sit in his section. I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Yelp
I visited Terra at Eataly Boston for dinner and let me start this review off by saying, it's a beautiful restaurant on the third floor of Eataly! Now, when it comes to their food, price for food, & service, not so great. We had ordered all the pasta dishes they offer on their menu and I personally had the carbonara as my dish. The prices are STEEP for the quality of food, seriously not worth it. Very bland and had a difficult time finishing food. It's disappointing when the prices are similar to the top Italian restaurants in the city, but taste wise, doesn't compare at all. I am more satisfied when I eat at Olive Garden because at least the prices are fair and I get my money's worth! Also, the service was not tea when we visited. Our server avoided us like the plague. Overall, my experience dining here was not very pleasant and will not be coming back any time soon.
google avatar

George O.

Yelp
This place was gorgeous! I loved the natural light from the glass roof! Service was great, and food was delicious. We ordered the Bolognese, The spaghetti, also had coffee, gelato and the tiramisu! This place is upstairs inside Eataly.

Yelp
My fiancé and I got engaged a little while ago and wanted to celebrate with a nice meal. Before taking a trip to Boston, I saw alot of people posting Terra on Instagram so I gave it a shot. I made my reservation on Opentable and we were seated quickly upon arrival. I loved the romantic ambience of this restaurant and I'm sure it is beautiful during the day with the skylight. Our waiter Vinny was very attentive and he even brought us over a sweet cream gelato to celebrate our engagement which was very sweet! The pasta was delicious & very filling! The cocktails are a bit pricey, but it seems to be the standard in Boston. If you're looking for an intimate night out, I do recommend Terra!
google avatar

Yelp
Terra at Eataly in Boston was a total win! We kicked things off with the Insalata Estiva, which was packed with flavor.. crunchy, creamy, and just the right amount of zest. For lunch, I went with the Spaghetto al Pomodoro e Burrata, and let me tell you, it was a great call. The waiter recommended it and it did not disappoint .. simple, fresh, and ohh so satisfying! But the real star was the braciola pork chop with broccolini. It was seriously out of this world!! Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Overall, Terra gave us an unforgettable meal in a super cool, laid-back atmosphere. Definitely a spot to hit up again! PS. Any mocktail can be made into a cocktail, just ask the waiter & they'll recommend something fitting!
google avatar

Jasmine J.

Yelp
Finally came to Terra for a bday celebration! The decor and vibes were amazing. The food was also great! Really enjoyed the steak and truffle pasta. Was super excited for the burrata appetizer but I wish the bread were softer and warmed up.
google avatar

Courtney T.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance of the place and the service was decent. The drinks were good. We sat at bar where you could watch the cooks but wish there was a bit more space.

Yelp
Remy (the mouse) from ratatouille made a guest appearance, he had a friend as well. The food was actually good. The ragu was flavorful, the pasta fresh. During the meal though the mice were rampant...now, we were eating outside to be fair. But I've never seen so many mice like I have at this restaurant honestly. Seems like a serious health hazard, especially with the "fluids" mice can leave behind. Service was really good! Servers were very attentive. Prices were fair, we spent literally $444 for 6 people! Couple of drinks, all full meals. The food was plentiful. I don't think I would come here again...solely because I'd be in my mind too much about the mice quite frankly. If you don't care about that then check it out.

Yelp
I've always liked Eataly but haven't tried Terra yet so decided to give it a try. I was originally curious about Italian skewers but ended up ordering also the aged T bone along with the lobster squid in pasta. I think only the tiramisu and the potato side dish are worth the price. So first of all it's super crowded and you literally next to the other table but I can't fault them to make money. The decoration used a lot of fake flowers and I wouldn't say the setting is anything special. Service is as expected given the price. The food is alright but nothing spectacular so I don't think I would want to return as I'd rather have pizza from Eataly. The skewers are really boring as they are bland without much spice and the cardinal sin of kebab is to only use lean meat which even if tender gives a boring journey for your palate. The veggie kebabs such as the mushrooms actually taste better than meat. The aged T bone is just as expected extremely expensive and although I normally like aged steaks I don't think this is worth the price here. The meat doesn't have the flavorful bite you'd expect from an aged steak. The pasta is a letdown as well as the noodle is too hard so doesn't blend well with the squid ink flavor. Lobster is also slightly dry. The saving grace is the tiramisu which is amazingly good. Overall I think it's an expensive dinner not with the price. I guess Eataly is a good place for simple food such as pasta and pizza but not with going for fine dining.

Yelp
Terra at Eataly in Boston was nice !The Bolognese was flavorsome and filling, the atmosphere was excellent, and the service was great.
google avatar

Baran K.

Yelp
As much of a fan of Eataly as I am, this was probably one of the worst dining experiences I have had in Boston. With so much great Italian in this city, choosing Terra just seems like a bad idea to me. Even though the restaurant was beautiful, the food was so incredibly mediocre. I had the pomodoro, which reminded me of airplane food, lacking any flavor. We also shared a few appetizers (salads, burrata), but those were incredibly mediocre as well! I'm all about simplicity when it comes to Italian food, but there's a fine line between simple and elegant and bland and boring. Unfortunately, my meal at Terra was the latter.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
Food: The pastas were good (nothing super special though), but the real highlight had to be the tiramisu! Best tiramisu I've ever had. We also got the Burrata to share which was good. Service: Food was fast. Ambiance: Inside was really aesthetic, lots of indoor lighting. The main drawback was the bathrooms were quite dirty (I went there twice), which is disappointing as the restaurant itself is so nice and upscale.
google avatar

Nate P.

Yelp
The waitresses were very nice, and the open roof brought fresh air into the dining area. The pasta was soooo good .
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to try it out with our two young kids, hoping for a somewhat relaxing family dinner/ pre mother's day. Instead, the service was truly abysmal. It took ages for anyone to even acknowledge us after we were seated. We had to ask to place our food because the kids had waited enough at that point. And then there's the food. For the prices they're charging, the portions were laughably small. The atmosphere was nice however due to the lack of service we will not return.
google avatar

Carol S.

Yelp
It was amazing! Loved the rustic decor/ plants everything ! Best Bloody Mary I have ever had! Food was delish! Everything came out great ! Servers worked as a team very warm atmosphere .
google avatar

Yelp
I took my mom here for her birthday and unfortunately it was a lackluster experience. Nothing too terrible, but not great either. First of all the interior is so beautiful, it feels like you're in a greenhouse there's so many plants! It was a treat for the eyes. We got the grilled lamb, calamaro, and green salad. The grilled lamb and calamaro was pretty good and the salad was just okay. We got the ricotta ravioli and spaghetti--for an italian restaurant the pastas were mediocre and I thought the presentation was sloppy looking. The drinks and dessert were delicious. Service was good but a bit slow.
google avatar

Erika C.

Yelp
A hidden gem inside Eataly in the Prudential Tower! This spot is stunning with a wood-burning Italian grill centered in the open kitchen and greenery adorning the ceilings and walls. My now-husband and I went to celebrate purchasing his wedding suit a few blocks away on Newbury Street, so we cheersed with delicious cocktails and the 'Fornello Pugliese' - A selection of grilled Pugliese-style skewers inspired by the southern Italian region. Traditionally selected directly from butcher counters, the meat is cooked over an open flame before being served tableside. We had the best time here and would recommend for any type of celebration, date night, dinner with a friend or family.
google avatar

Amanjot K.

Yelp
The food was good but overall smaller portions and fairly expensive. The charcuterie board, the tiramisu and wine were good! Service was alright, it was a bit slower than we would have liked. It was a busy and lively night that we went.
google avatar

Yu Y.

Yelp
The dining area has amazing skylights, plants hanging everywhere and you can see shoppers down below. They were very kindly able to seat all of us together as a party of nine even though we had separate reservations. The grilled items were all very delicious especially the bread and skirt steak skewer from the fornello. Good for sharing. The fish was smaller than I expected. Pastas had a nice bouncy texture and freshly made.
google avatar

Katlin B.

Yelp
Our servers were very attentive, the food was so delicious. I ordered off the lunch menu and would highly suggest the Little Gem Salad and the Pappardelle Cacio e Pepe e Finferli. The beats in the Little Gem Salad were perfect with the pistachio pesto! But the green pappardelle was not only aesthetically pleasing but the Cacio e Pepe Sauce was some of the best I've ever had. One thing I would skip next time is an espresso martini stick with wine!
google avatar

Rad N.

Yelp
The ambience was nice and the service was good. The food was decent, but overpriced. I don't think I would visit again.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Skewer concept here is so cool, and we tried the lamb, which was delicious. The wood fired grill definitely adds a smoky flavor and finish. We sat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation, and it was actually more fun sitting here to watch the chef's cook. The sirloin was a nice cut of meat, very tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Loved the broccolini style. Mashed potatoes were a nice light addition as well. Tried the drink sugo verde, and it was limey and refreshing! Bustling spot at the second level of little Italy! A little bit of a hidden gem. Pricier than eating on the lower level but worth it.

Yelp
I love the vibe of Terra. Right when you walk in it feels like you're in a greenhouse and it is absolutely beautiful. The menu changes for what is in season so how can you beat that? I have also never been disappointed with anything that I have gotten off the menu. The pasta is fresh the bread is warm and even things that I am not sure what are always come out tasting delicious. I came to Terra for the second time last night and my friends and I were running very late. I called to let the host know and rushed to get there. Once we arrived we were still seated and greeted with a smile. I didn't even expect us to have a table at that point and we were just hoping to get squeezed in but they had saved us a spot anyway which took so much stress out of the night and was greatly appreciated! They validate parking so make sure to ask the host before you go!
google avatar

Mary E.

Yelp
We stopped by Terra for a late night dinner on a Friday night and were seated immediately with no wait. The hostess and waitstaff were all very welcoming, friendly and informative. After hearing the specials and reading the menu we opted for the daily sneak special, cooked medium rare. I don't mind steak on the rarer side, but some may send it back as it was on the rarer side and a little fatty. However, I enjoyed the meal and thought the meat was seasoned well and the veggies were cooked to perfection.

Yerina K.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cute and aesthetic place to eat, I would definitely recommend this place! The service was good and we were able to get a discounted price on one of the dishes due to there not being enough truffle, which was nice. The squid was really good and the pasta/ravioli was also solid but not worth the price. If you're looking to have a nice time without considering the prices then I would say to try this place out! Either way, you should come try at least once because it's cute!

Yelp
Such an amazing dining experience! Eataly itself is a fun experience and highly recommended, but the seated dinner at Terra was incredible. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was fantastic. Santos was our waiter, and he was able to recommend the perfect dishes for our entrees and desserts. He was very familiar with the menu and made sure we knew exactly what we were ordering and even made additional recommendations for our next trip. I recommend making reservations in advance as it pretty busy, even on a Monday night.

Yelp
Unfamiliar with the Boston food scene, I took to social media to identify the most unique dining experience in the city. Among the list of options was Terra- an Italian restaurant located on the rooftop of Eataly (an Italian Marketplace). I made a lunch reservation for 2 a week in advance to guarantee seating in the indoor dining area. We arrived a few minutes early and were immediately taken to our seats. I started things off with the Penelope, a crisp and refreshing rum-based cocktail. For the main entree, I ordered the Nasello. This dish included grilled Hake (flaky, white fish) and seasonal vegetables. Overall, the dish was prepared well and served hot off the grill. For dessert, I considered one of their many flavors of gelato, but instead ordered a cappuccino from their full coffee bar to avoid the pull of a post lunch nap. From start to finish, we were in and out in less than one hour. This left plenty of time to walk around Eataly and shop on nearby Newbury St.
google avatar

Sakurako K.

Yelp
I'm not entirely sure why I didn't make this place my special occasions restaurant sooner! Located inside Eataly in the Prudential Center (head up the stairs!) Terra has an open kitchen with a very visible wood burning Italian grill in the heart of it. The indoor portion of the restaurant is like a green house with glass ceilings and walls, with tons of greenery (real and fake) that makes you feel like you're dining inside a conservatory. My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary and we had a great time. The only slight hiccup was that our table wasn't quite ready at the time of our reservation and we actually ended up waiting easily 20 mins for it. What didn't help is that outdoors a rain storm came through so all the outdoor patio diners suddenly had to be rushed in and sat as well as we were waiting for our table (of course they prioritized us but still). We got the seafood grill for two, and rounded off the night with a flight of amaros (can't recommend enough), and quite possibly the most delicious dessert I've had ever-- a hazelnut cream filled dessert with chocolate crumble and truffle shell. Terra absolutely pulled through for our special occasion and we will be back!

Yelp
Tucked away on the rooftop of Eataly is Terra. It's a whimsical Italian restaurant filled with much natural light during the day and plants all around. We took a chance on a Saturday night, and it was packed. There was an hour wait to sit at the Chefs Counter and an even longer one for a table in the restaurant. The host said we could sit at the bar if anything opened up. After waiting a little, we were able to sit at the bar. I started with a classic Aperol Spritz, and it was very refreshing. We split the Prosciutto e Mozzarella plate to start. It comes with a lot and is a good appetizer if you want something classic. I then got the Spaghetto al Pomodoro e Burrata. This is their twist on classic spaghetti. It was good and I like how they put cheese on top. It's not a huge portion for $23 so beware of that. It's tasty though. Mine was served lukewarm so next time I would like it a little hotter. Normally I usually don't sit at the bar but I'm glad we did. The barstools are plastic so they weren't the most comfortable but it was still enjoyable. Our server was very attentive and kept coming to check on us and fill our water, so that was great. This was my second time here, and to be quite frank, the food seemed better the first time. I think the time I visited made a difference, before I came around noon on a week day with most tables empty. This time, the place was packed and it was 9:30 on a Saturday night. That being said, I'll give them some grace because I understand it's busy. I just expect a little more since this is a popular restaurant in the Prudential Center. All it was still enjoyable and it's a fun vibe in here, especially to bring out of town friends.

Yelp
Terra redemption ark! I had previously had a brunch here with a bad experience so I came in for dinner with an open mind and I'm very glad I did. U had the Ragu pasta on the dinner menu and it was phenomenal. Definitely would come back for that alone! Our server couldn't have been more attentive, he was constantly checking on our drinks (which were phenomenal as well) and asking what else we may need. The oysters we ordered were served warm so I probably wouldn't get them again myself, but my date loved them so if you're into that I'm sure they're great. The place itself is beautiful, it's in the atrium above Eataly. It may be hard to find your way in, but once you're there it's worth it (at least for dinner)!

Yelp
Although the decor and lighting was beautiful and the service was fast, Terra at Eataly was unfortunately mediocre. The polenta appetizer was bland. The sauce for the pasta was thin and underwhelming but the meat in the ragu was tender and flavorful.

Yelp
By far the worst service in boston, the only welcoming person was the host. All the servers were run and condescending. I had inquired twice with two different people on if the truffles would be table side. They both said yes, only for it to come out preshaved. The pasta is very mediocre for the price you pay and the only redeeming quality is the atmosphere. If you're going to act European then expect a European tip.

Yelp
This place was gorgeous, our food was incredible, and the service was excellent! It was a bit pricier than other comparable restaurants though-- likely wont go out of my way to go there again. But nothing bad to say about my time there!

Yelp
1000% recommend getting the tiramisu Portions area little small. It's inside (towards the back of Eatly)

Yelp
First trip for this Bostonian of over 50 years, and our party of four was generally pleased with our experience at Terra. The atmosphere was loud and crowded, but the wait staff and overall quality of the food were admirable. We opened with the bread and olive oil (Pane Rustico) which was gluten rich and dense (often free at most places, this offering was $5.00). The four of us shared an exceptional bottle of Barbara d'Alba "Castello di Neive 2022" and at $68/btl it was only twice the street price (if you can find it), so that was a highlight for us. Two of us had the Pasta "Tagliatelle al Ragu" at $31, and the other two had the pork chops "Braciola di Maiale" $39. Both dishes were excellent, but at these prices, one would expect some greens or other options on the plate. Portions were filling however, and they left us time for a divine dessert special: Creme brûlée with Tiramisu inside. Even though each dessert was $17, the special was to die for - totally great. The whole meal for 4 with tip came to $355, and thank goodness parking at the Prudential lot was reduced to $15 for the evening. Our server, Cristhian, was very attentive and engaged well with us. Another server removed some of our dessert plates while one diner was still eating the dessert and another had some precious crumbs to consume. On the whole, it was a good experience in Boston, meeting friends and having a great time.

Yelp
First time eating here after years of shopping at Eataly Boston and the entire experience was amazing. We had reservations on a Thursday night and only waited a few minutes to be seated. Host was warm and friendly, as was our server. We never felt rushed or abandoned. We shared the Fornello Pugliese for 2 with a side of charred broccolini and loved all of it. We took at least half home, and didn't have room for dessert. We took our leftovers home and fried them up for breakfast. Turned the leftover bread in to croutons. The ambiance is comforting and the scent of the wood fired grills is very inviting. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Last night's double date at Terra was another exceptional experience. As a returning customer, I continue to be impressed by the consistent outstanding service and ambiance. Our server, Santos, added a homey touch to our evening, making us eager to request his service during our next visit. The food lived up to the restaurant's high standards, with Santos recommending the delicious beet salad with mushrooms. While the fornello puglise and tagliolino al tartufo Bianco were mostly well-received, the only complaint was an overcooked and under-seasoned steak on the platter. Despite this minor flaw, Terra remains a stunning restaurant, equally captivating whether during the day or at night. And the tiramisu WOW! Don't think about it. Just order it.
