"Grilled meat can be found in every corner of the world. In Brazil (and other parts of South America), churrasco (which translates to “barbecue”) is the preferred form of grilling meat. The first thing diners notice at Terra Brasilis in Framingham is all the skewered beef, pork, and chicken being cooked over flames near the back wall of the restaurant. Be sure to try the picanha (fatty beef sirloin), and the chicken liver too. Prices are determined by the food’s total weight, unlike the all-you-can-eat fees typical at some Brazilian steakhouses. Terra Brasilis is open for indoor dining, takeout, and delivery. It also has a location in Worcester." - Tommy Ranucci

Google
It's a very nice buffet experience But it would be too expensive for the quality of food if you're to dine in. Best option is to take-out the food. All in all great meat options and food was good. Recommended and as mentioned, do a take out to your heart's content!

Google
The food is amazing here, and the staff are kind. A little pricey but if you go after 9:00PM the food is a little cheaper.

Slava Oleinik

Google
Very good Brazilian food. You come in, take what you want buffet style, weigh it and either eat there, or take it out. You simply pay for what you eat.

Myke

Google
The food was delicious & the place was packed with people it seems to stay consistently busy, we need one in Philly..

Google
Nice Brazilian eatery with freshly carved chicken, pork, beef, sausage. Comfortable seating, tasty food, nice people, plenty of parking. A very pleasant experience. Thank you!

Google
Classic and traditional Brazilian food served in the Brazilian style. It’s a buffet system and you pay by weight. They have the classic Brazilian barbecue grilled on a charcoal pit. Service is good, everyone was very polite. The buffet had many food options. Place is clean and price is fair.

Yelp
$50 (tip included) for lunch for 3 plus drinks. You can't beat it. Lots of salad options, 2 types of rice, 2 types of beans, 3 none bbq meat options, 1 being fish, lots of veggie sides, French fries and plenty of bbq meats to choose from. Tropical juices and desserts The staff was friendly and service was fast. There's nothing to complain about here! Simple, delicious, food, clean space very Brazilian feel. This represents everyday meals for Brazilians, not the Americanized view of rodizio.

Yelp
Clean, very friendly environment that makes me feel like I'm back in São Paulo. You just walk in, get your plate and load with salad and prepared dishes then you transfer to the Churrasco area (Brazilian BBQ) where you ask for the meat of your choice. I'm Picanha lover so I always ask for that. The food is always freshly made and served. This place is a semi-buffet that at the end charges by the weight of your chosen food. Every time I come to Framingham for work I visit here at least 1 time. Is good food and great meat. Also, they have Guaraná drink. This is staple in South American countries and specially in Brazil. Is the guaraná that is added in sports drinks but, less the kick. This goes really well with the meat.

Chay L.

Yelp
The food here is really good. The meat selection from their grill is really good and even though the price is based on weight, it only cost less than $20 for rice, veg and a great selection of Brazillian grilled meat, it's really value for money. The food is self service. The staff are also friendly. When I visited the first time, they patiently explain to me how the food and service works. Great place.

Yelp
Yum! I wish we had something like this in Orange County, CA. I feel like I only know Brazilian food as an AYCE option and sometimes, I really don't want AYCE and this is perfect for that. You literally are paying for what you get. There's lots of options of sides of food here to choose from and it's like cafeteria style where you go down the line and just grab what you want onto your plate. At the end of the line, there is the server that gets and cuts your meat for you. Pretty extensive list of choices for the meats available and cooked very nicely. I got the picanha and heart which were both really good. Just make sure you let them know how much or little you'd want. At the end, your plate gets weighed and you pay by the pound. Condiments to the side and I devoured the bottle of red chilis with my meal. Everything was very tasty and service was super nice and friendly.

Shashu B.

Yelp
This is an excellent casual restaurant. Self service buffet for the sides and some meat dishes, and then the grilled meats / steaks are all cut to order and then you pay by weight. Everything is delicious - especially the picanha (sirloin), lamb, and chorizo for the grilled meats, and the beans and the chicken/okra from the sides section. Restaurant is clean and comfortable and the service is friendly. Considering the quality and variety of the food, I think it is a great value for a meal.

Lau F.

Yelp
Buffet style Brazilian BBQ restaurant. Meat tough, dry tasteless. No beef long rib. No bbq pineapple. Buffet bar has standard fare. Service is OK. Parking lot small and usually full at lunchtime. Cheap fast food. Would not recommend.

R P.

Yelp
This cafeteria style eaterie offers the traditional Brazilian great piles of meat, fried plantains and a variety of other comfort foods. Come hungry and leave satisfied, and only a little lighter in the pocket. If looking to satiate a hankering, this could be the place.

M F.

Yelp
The large rotisserie has excellent choice cuts of different meats. The cook asks what you like, slices it, ensures you get exactly what you want and serves it to your plate. Everything was excellent and fresh. Friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices, clean place, has parking on site.

Young P.

Yelp
Came here on a random night to get dinner. I like the concept of this place. You literally go in and put whatever side dishes you want on your plate and the guy at the end of the line will cut whatever pieces of meat you want. They have a variety of meats to choose from so if you are into tasting different cuts of meat, this is definitely a good place to check out. You have to pay by pound so make sure to allocate your weight wisely. Personally, I think you should just go crazy with the meat and just make your own sides at home.

Yelp
Fantastic! This place is great. Nuff said. Ok, some more detail. This is a real deal Brazilian restaurant. This is no silly chain, gimmick shop. Enter Terra and all you will hear is Portuguese being spoken. When a place is full of locals - that is a good sign in my book. You walk in and straight to the back where you grab a plate and get in line, cafeteria style. You walk by an array of food items from rice and beans to fried shrimp, salad, pasta, etc. until you get to the main event.... Oh, the meat. The meat. The meat. The meat. They have beef on big skewers on a rotisserie that they slice off for you. They also have a few different kinds of sausage on the rotisserie as well. I got my meat medium with some spicy sausage as well. Oh, and don't sleep on the dessert counter either. I got a slice of the chocolate cake. It is off the charts good, made with what seems to be condensed milk. The staff here is super friendly as well. We stuffed ourselves for about $12 per person. It truly was fantastic.

Yelp
Husband and I started going here about a year ago, the perfect option for dinner on nights when husband gets out of class late. After 9pm the food is 30% off, sometimes you might have to remind the cashier because sometimes they forget. One of the guys who mans the meat is fantastic about shaving off fatty pieces, another regular guy we see isn't as great about it. But a pretty decent selection of meat at 30% off and you literally don't have to do any work, really can't complain. The sirloin is fantastic. Everyone is pretty friendly. Love the food, have gotten to try a lot of new things. Also love supporting a local place :)

Yelp
Here for a week and staying with a good friend and fellow capoeirista in Framingham and before I came here to visit constantly told me how Brazilian Massachusetts is and I didn't realize it until the numerous stores! This place is cut and dry "por kilo" meaning per pound in which you pile up your plate, they weigh it and everytime you come back for more whether it be desserts, drinks or more food, you pay at the very end. The sides are typical Brazilian: salad, rice, beans, some sort of a casserole, fries, etc. Their meat is at the very end and is fresh, well prepared and very good. (you really can't fuck up Brazilian churrasco. It's just rock salt) They honestly should invest in a beer/wine license. I would have loved to have a Brahma or a Skol alongside my pichana e arroz but it's all good. Second time in one week I've been here. The staff is nice and the food is delicious. Beleza!

Barbara J.

Yelp
This is my favorite go to restaurant for healthy eating. A fine and tasty variety of salad, toppings, tart and tangy vegetables, pastas and potato salads and rice and beans. Their beef stew topping is mouth watering and their sliced beef is delicious, not too salty so you can actually taste the meat! Best value by the pound but best of all the food is delicious. It's my go to place where I can serve myself. The staff is always friendly and accommodating as to how I like the meat sliced and fat removed. It's my go to place when I don't have time to cook!

Gregory C.

Yelp
Terra Brasilis is my favorite place to get a quick bite to eat. Well stocked buffet with a good amount of variety. Meat spins on swords over coals all day imparting a nice grill flavor. You can eat there for $10 or less a person and walk out full. I wouldn't call it health food but if you stick to meats, rice, and veggies it's a lot healthier than many restaurants. You will most likely be greeted in Portuguese but the staff all speak enough English to serve and check you out without any confusion. Overall, great buffet with tasty meats at a great price.

Kat H.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant for the first time, wanted to like it. Ordered chicken and beef stew. Menu said it comes with rice and vegetables. When it arrived it saw that it has pork on the vegetables and we can't eat it. Too bad!

Char W.

Yelp
Food was stale. Waitress was rude and rolled her eyes when I brought it to her attention. They at times inflate prices per lb of food. Luckily I reviewed my bill and pointed it out to them. I then spent the night in the toilet with runny stomach. Stay away unless you like having an upset stomach. Worst Brazilian food I have ever had.

Jackie C.

Yelp
The people are so friendly and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Tilapia and Fish from the trays. It was my favorite! But definitely don't forget to save space on your plate for all the meat The ambience is good, tons of seating. There was also tons of parking when we got there. You won't regret eating here!

Jane L.

Yelp
Probably I am a horrible customer who come here after 9pm for 40% off discounted price for the to-go option. But it's difficult to resist this option. I am often surprised how similar the Brazilian food is when compared to Korean dishes. For example, this place often have intestine soup, fried pork skin, or salted dried fish dishes, which are very similar to the comfort food in Korea. The okra, fried plantains, fish soup, potato salads, and pork dishes are my favorite too. But the highlight is the meat. I always get medium-rare. I am glad that this place is in Framingham. Oh and make sure to try their desserts. Flan was good and I am trying different cakes every now and then. My friend likes the cashew juice so I tried it once and it was very interesting taste (In a good way). The chocolates and snacks near the counter is almost impossible to resist.

Yelp
Dropped in for lunch on a Monday to find this small low key downtown Framingham spot humming. I'm pretty new to Brazilian food but the buffet was well labeled and the short line moved quickly. The meat carver offered several choices and I chose the roast beef. He carved me some well done after either misunderstanding or not hearing me say rare. He somewhat willingly corrected it and oh my was I glad, as the beef was soooooo good. I can't wait to go back. Price was reasonable and place clean though not particularly warm or attractive. It could use some design touches

Bethany B.

Yelp
Let me start this by saying that I was born in PA and raised in NH. I know NOTHING about Brazilian food. That being said, I am constantly showing up at Mr Bethany's place of employment so that we can have a lunch date here. He thinks I'm being romantic, I just love the food!! ( and Mr Bethany, but he comes home every night:) There is a dish made with yucca flour, beans, kale, eggs, & chicharrones ( fried pieces of pork meat w/ a good layer of crispy fat) that I have a craving for weekly. I also love their chicken gizzard stew (what?), and sausages. The meats are best when they first open -- and it's hard sometimes to get rare pieces, which I prefer. The lamb & chicken wrapped in bacon are usually very tasty stand bys too. I also always get my portion in the to-go container because my eyes are always bigger than my stomach -- but this never a bad thing. Say "Hello" to the owner, Lyndon. He's doing a great job here!

Luz Cynthia T.

Yelp
My husband and I came across this establishment by pure coincidence and we were pleasantly surprised The staff was very helpful and friendly. They explained the whole process to us about how the you pay I think it was $8.39 lb which was a reasonable price in our opinion considering the food options and quality. We both ate a good amount of food and each had a soda and paid $32 with the 20% tip.

Ben A.

Yelp
I haven't been to this restaurant for about ten years - back then, it was called Cafe Belo. It hasn't changed at all since then, and that's a good thing. Such an incredible variety of entrees, sides and desserts for such a low price! Plus, helpful waitstaff were bringing me samples of different desserts and dishes to try. Truly an example of Brazilian kindness. I won't wait another ten years to come back!

Zoe P.

Yelp
Delicious and cozy. But not 5-star Brazilian buffet perfection. Honestly, there just aren't enough salads. What's there is good, but they need more variety. I expected more bean and grain mixes and I'm perfectly happy to keep searching the numerous Brazilian buffets of Greater Boston until I find them. The sirloin and sausage were delicious though, and so was the flan. And we really liked the Saturday night dinner crowd - families, older folks, everyone - though in our mall-and-laudromat wear we were seriously underdressed by comparison. Also, no pao de queijo?

Linda T.

Yelp
Great food. Will definitely be going back. I love that you pay by weight, and you get to take home what you can't finish.

Charmie C.

Yelp
Great Brazilian buffet at affordable prices. I had some fried plantains and a bit of beef, and that came out to $3.66. The beef was well-seasoned and tender. Fried plantains were sweet and not overly oily.

Nicole S.

Yelp
I went to the other location on 135, but they don't have a review site and I'm just a tad too lazy to set one up so this one will have to do. Solid performance! I'll confess, when it comes to Latin cuisine I am a Mexican expert but a total tard when it comes to Brazilian. Couldn't tell you what is authentic, but I've eaten at a few Brazilian buffets and I just love all that meat on a spit. I also feel really ripped off when I go to a traditional buffet because I never can eat enough to make it worth it. This was the perfect alternative. I got a full plate of meat and rice and beans and sides for $9 at dinner since they charge by the pound. It's buffet so it's not the best quality but really good flavor and a good casual dinner. I got just enough food to make me full and happy!

Mike B.

Yelp
My wife and I had to be in Framingham, my old home town, for a function. We found this on Yelp and gave it a try. Great food! Atmosphere is casual, clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the beef empanadas appetizer, carne asada, and a chicken dish. Plus a passion fruit and milk smoothie which was wonderful. Very reasonably priced.

Eva H.

Yelp
Food is good and authentic. The food is weighed by the pound. Which I guess works out cause you make your own plate and can have all the variety you want or not. Staff are friendly and the orange juice is freshly squeezed everyday!

Matt L.

Yelp
I work in rotating offices around Massachusetts, and rarely work in Framingham but every time that I do, I come here. This place is the real deal, and they have absolutely fantastic food, and I make it a personal goal to stop here whenever I can!

Guillermo M.

Yelp
We loved the meat, the okra, the potato salad and the rice. Great comfort food for a good price. You can taste multiple plates and have delicious meat. I recommend this place if you want to have a tasty dinner with good value.

G T.

Yelp
Cafeteria style with absolutely incredible roasted meats. Hot and cold bar items are also great, amazing value. Staff is friendly

Karen L.

Yelp
BEST Brazilian food in Framingham. They have 30% off take out after 9pm. I have been going there for years and will continue to go. I love their chocolate puddim which is a chocolate custard cake, my number one choice when I go there.

Nate T.

Yelp
Excellent food buffet style(you pay by the pound), friendly service, good prices, too! We stopped for dinner off the turnpike, then bought more for dinner the next night. Customers were all Brazilian.

Diego C.

Yelp
I drive almost 15 min everyday to come to this restaurant. The food is prepared with love, I can taste it. And good for the kitchen staff. But the service... Today I found out why is so terrible. Natalya the "manager" show me today why almost all the staff in this place is so rude and why the customer service is so bad. She is a really bad example. Good for me there are many other restaurants so I don't have to come here again. Good customer service means helping customers efficiently, in a friendly manner. Providing good service is one of the most important things that can set your business apart from the others of its kind.

Cheuk S.

Yelp
I went there with a co-worker for a quick lunch. I work in Natick and the location was about a 10 minute drive. For the quantity and quality of food that you receive, it was worth the trip for lunch only. Price was fair although they have the layout as a buffet style, they charge by the pound either eat-in or carry out. There was one waitress there to clean up after you, not really serve you or anything. So service was what it is. The ambiance was perfectly cozy and we saw all kinds of people there with a good mix of construction workers, office workers, and family with kids. So overall the place felt clean and comfortable. The food choices were limited but they were of good quality. I had several meats with rice and veggies. The veggie was quite fresh and tasty, the rice mixed with a Tripe(cow stomach) meat and broth was really good. I also had fried chicken wing which was okay as the flavor wasn't there but the meat was tender and cooked about right. I also had the pork(baked I think), which was okay as flavor was so-so and meat was dry as I think they overcooked it a bit. As for the lamb(grilled), it was also a bit dry inside but not by that much but the flavor was there to make it up. There were other meats there such as beef and chicken which I didn't get a chance to try. So overall, a decent place to go for lunch only, especially if you are looking for some place new to try out and am sick of going to your usual places during lunch time. I would only recommend it under those circumstances. I probably wouldn't outright recommend it unless someone suggested it.

Tuyen V.

Yelp
The meat is great for the price with a variety of meat. The buffet is ok, I only go for the salads at the buffet.

Kevin L.

Yelp
Food is not good at all. Dull and bland in flavor..feels like they aren't even trying. Not to mention it's super expensive...$7.99/pound?? Way to rip people off

Deirdra B.

Yelp
Went for lunch. Food was good. Meat was a little dry but still tasty. My husband and I split a piece of cake (vanilla with strawberry filling) and it was phenomenal. Great value for the price. If you come here def try the cake.

Aaron H.

Yelp
Outstanding food at reasonable prices. If you don't like salt it's not the place for you. Pick and choose what you want to eat from the buffet table and large array of grilled meats. The only down side is once in a while the meat gets a bit well done.

Christina M.

Yelp
Can't believe we didn't know about this place before, love these type of places (which are hard to find in the Boston area, in my opinion) My mom had recently came here with a friend and she kept raving about it so she brought us here. The price is amazing, $8/lb which is more than enough to satisfy you with delicious, flavor-able meat cooked beautifully. The people who worked there were very friendly and answered our questions since we were "newbies". Good nutritious, tasty meal for a great price. Adding to our list of places to take people when they come visit us!

Maura C.

Yelp
This place was excellent. Very well run. The food was amazing and the people serving were really sweet. Would definately return. They also have free coffee.

Lino C.

Yelp
The worse experience that I had in any restaurant. Food had no taste, meat taste and look like old and expired . In comparison I would give McDonald a five star. Workers are great.food?Eek. That was my experience. Hope they will fix that. Ill not go back to find out. We left most of our food on the plate. Yes it was Last week we went to the airport (Logan)and stop there for launch in our way back between 1 an 2 PM Hope this helps you fix the problem

Priscilla I.

Yelp
Coming from Texas these gems don't come around so often unless you want to pay an arm and leg at Fogo! Amazing homemade Brazilian food and the price is even better!

Cindy H.

Yelp
Like most of you Yelpers, I came here at night for the discount. The food still really adds up because of the heavy meat, but that isn't why my rating is only three stars. The meat was very overcooked and dry. I also thought it lacked flavor. This was really disappointing as I tried out many different cutlets. The sides did no favors either. I thought the selection was just OK.

Espresso T.

Yelp
Not the best bbq I've had, but it was decent and given the prices and item selections, I would come back again. The rice was very flavorful. I like the beans sew too; the meat were fine though some were too burned. While it is a no frill kind of establishment and you are not waited on, the place is clean and the tables nice enough to feel that you are dining there. And, as long as you are not at one of those tables where there is another table literally next to yours, it is a good casual food joint where one could have good conversations with friends along with good food.

Sonnque G.

Yelp
I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE this place. True, the buffet selection is not the largest and not many options, but what I like, they got and I LOVE IT!!! I especially love their plantain, potato salad and i think it is some sort of pasta salad and there BBQ meats. My whole office LOVES ordering from here!!

Christina A.

Yelp
Had an absolutely wonderful experience here today! The staff was very friendly (they explained exactly how everything worked when I walked in), the food was delicious (so much variety, delicious tender meat, and yummy desserts), and the restaurant was very clean. Staff was very quick to clean off tables when people were done. Best of all, the meal only cost (for two people) $18! Absolutely going back again. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

S P.

Yelp
Lets start out by saying this is a great place to go into and get delicious food at a fairly good price. BUT if youve noticed on their website they have recently added online orders and delivery. The first time I ordered from there the delivery was very slow about an hour and a half but the food was amazing so that made up for the wait. The other night I tried out their online ordering once again it was 815pm. An hour and a half goes by and I called them wondering where my order was and a very nice woman stated that they were very busy and the driver is about to leave now it will arrive in 15 minutes. At this point I was okay with the wait considering my boyfriend wasnt home for dinner yet. 15 minutes go by 30 minutes go by...45 minutes go by and I call back. Aparently the computer crashed and she didnt know my number to let me know.. (even though I called 45 minutes before)She then offered to put a credit on my account or send the food tomorrow considering they were closed by this time. I was FURIOUS and demanded my money back. Not to mention the driver was swearing in the back that he had to go back out and didnt know where i lived. By the time it was 10:45pm the driver came with my money back. I would NEVER recomend delivery from them.

John O.

Yelp
Typical brazillian lunch spot. The buffet had rice and black beans which is all I was looking for. the grilled meats were good, and the selection was decent. The sirlion, med rare, was good, and I love any place I can get grilled chicken hearts. The chicken and pork sausages were great.
