Terra Mia Pizzeria

We came for my brother’s birthday lunch on our way to the beach. We are all vegetarian. We got the vegetarian pie, pesto pie, and eggplant Parmesan. The pizza was good. Thin, well cooked. We ran into a little road bump when we dung into the veggie pie. My dad got a slice of pepperoni and that made us all very vigilant. It tasted good but I felt cautious and had to look at each bite. The eggplant Parmesan was the hardest to eat because I was afraid there would be a slice of meat. Though Santiago was super nice. He offered to make up for that mishap, but we didn’t want to waste food so we denied and said we would return another day. They have spacious indoor seating, you can call to make reservations, and some outdoor community seating. There’s a restroom for customers.

My buddy just brought me here with his family. he loves the place. He was right... the pizza is awesome. He is from New York and he says this place hits the mark. They have a good selection of pizza by the slice (I think they had at least 10 to 12 (or more) different pre-made pizza toppings types available by-the-slice and good lunch specials. The pizza choices that they had were specialty too, it wasn't just cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. They had quite a few that were random good combos, like feta spinach on white pizza, mushroom sausage pizza, jalapeño feta mushroom sausage pizza, meatlovers type option, non-meat options, etc etc. I can't remember all of the tasty looking combination that they had. I wish I could have ordered 1 of each lol. I was there for lunch and got 3 big slices of pizza + fountain drink for $13. The slices are as big or bigger than costco and much more authentic. I'm a big eater so I got 3 slices, but I could have gotten away with the 2 slice + drink meal special and still been really full. They do serve beer and they have specials that include a beer instead of fountain drink. So it's a great place for good food with value, but I was very impressed by the friendliness and appreciation of the guy who was working the register. He was super cool, appreciative that we came in, prepped our food well, attentive to details, service was quick. I'm not sure if he was the owner or an employee, but his positive vibe will keep me going back because I like supporting good people. Hypothetically, If the pizza quality were equal between Terra Mia and another pizza place, I would choose Terra Mia to support good people.

The coworkers decided to try this place. We ordered 4 different pizzas. All very delicious and yummy. My coworkers were happy and pleased. Rudy is the owner and he was there. His team provided us an excellent service today. Thanks so much Rudy for the great food and service.

Ok. People here are FANTASTIC! Friendly, funny, and very attentive to their customers and their food. Onion rings (new). Really good. Meatballs? Really good. Pizza ? It’s ok. No fantastic… not horrible. Just a little bland. But. Overall for a reasonably priced pizza joint with great people ? I like this place !

I was the first customer in for the day. I ordered a single pizza, wings, and a salad. Their internet went down so they waited almost an hour to make my order. Edit(reply): It was 10/13/25 I was the first one to walk in and order at the counter. People were getting their slices they ordered quickly and someone who ordered after me even got their pizza like 30 minutes before I got mine. When I finally got my order they also forgot my salad and I had to go back. My pizza wasn't complicated, it was a 14 inch pepperoni.

The best pizza I ever had . Long story I am a driver ( medical paid raids ) and I drove a young man one day and I asked him if he is hungry 5 years ago. Based on location where I picked him up I know they are hungry 🤷‍♀️ . He said yes but he asked me if I can drive him to this place to buy him a slice of pizza. I bought him a whole pie and myself a slice and I was blown away . Every time I get around the area I am coming and buy a pie. And the garlic knotts amaizing . Please come and try .

I've been eating at Terra Mia for years. The food is fantastic and the employees and owner (Rudy) are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. If you like New York style pizza with a thin crust and lots of different toppings, then Terra Mia knocks it out of the park. On Saturday night we went in and found they have a new extra large 28" pizza. We ordered one with sausage, peppers, and onions. It was MASSIVE and easily fed the 6 of us with 3 slices left over. The flavor was incredible, the crust was just crunchy enough to give it texture, and the sausage was the sweet and spicy italian sausage you would expect from am authentic New York pizzeria. I can't recommend Terra Mia highly enough. If you are ordering pizzas for your Super Bowl party, then check out their new 28" pies. Great food, great service, and great people. What more could you ask for?

Did a takeout order of a large vegetarian pizza. "Large" is a misnomer because the thing was simply enormous! It's only two dollars more than the smaller pizza, so a no brainer. It was the ideal ratio of sauce to cheese to vegetables. Crust was still reasonably crunchy after a half hour drive. Taste was delicious! It was Valentine's Day and the place was packed, so clearly everyone loves them!

This is the email I sent to them a few days ago and since I have not heard back from them, I am posting it here. Because of the staff, quality of the pizza and their lack of concern - I am downgrading MY review to 2 stars. 1 because it was hot and 2 because it was a good size for the money ************************************************************* I have been getting the same pizza from you since I discovered your place about 6 months ago. Every time it has been as good, if not better than the last, so I stopped going to Pizza 900. However, last night was ZERO. Started with the guy at the Register. I gave him an older $20 bill and he looked at me and the bill at least 10x trying to determine if I was giving him a fake bill or if I was a scammer. HOW RUDE When I got my pizza, I usually put oregano parmesan cheese and garlic powder from a table. I noticed the chili oil and since my wife hates it, I asked for a small container to put some in. He says we charge for it, I said I can put it on my pizza for free, right? He says yes.....SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE???? He gave me an eye like I was trying to scam him out of chili oil. I put some on half and left. When I got home this was NOT the pizza I ordered (see attached picture) I ordered a Veggie pizza, NOT a spinach pizza. Where are the veggies? Looks like you ran out of artichokes as the last 3 times my pizza was loaded with them and other veggies. Look at this pizza, does this look like a pizza you would want to serve?

I have been to the Tustin location several times and always loved it, 5 stars for that location. I decided to try the Laguna Hills location and I'll say that the pizza is just as good, but the service was not as good. The cashier wasn't friendly and didn't give me a cup, I had to awkwardly grab one from the stack behind the register, and I was given the wrong slices for my to go order. I'll probably stick to the Tustin location going forward ETA in response to the owner, your cashier didn't tell me to grab my own cup so I stood awkwardly, and also the cups weren't by the soda machine (like they are in Tustin). Hope you can take the feedback constructively and communicate it to your staff. Cheers

Pizza is so good! Do not use the online app to order a pick up! Call instead! Grub Hub handles the pick up order and never notified me my order was ready. Finally called the restaurant after 1/2 hr and they confirmed my order was ready and waiting, but now cold. Lesson learned!

Some of the best New York style pizza I've had in the California since relocating from New Jersey. Very generous with toppings. Get yourself a sausage and green pepper pie and you'll be a happy camper.

Went in to get a couple slices for lunch. The owner says "I've been seeing you in here a lot recently...whats up with that? You don't have a kitchen? ". Guess he doesn't want my business. The pizza is pretty good but there are better spots around.

Been going there for a while. Thin crust style piazza. Service was fine; they take phone orders and online orders. Grubhub prices are a few dollars more. Wait time reasonable. House pizza is a flavor bomb, which is our favorite, but supreme tastes "healthier." Sometimes they gave us a little garlic knot on the side (if you order later in the day).

Super pizza and tasty garlic bread knots. Fast and friendly service. I've only had takeout but the place looks clean and organized.

The lunch special is really solid for the price. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it's really good for a quick lunch. Things got pretty busy when I went for lunch, but for the price, this is about as good as you can get, especially nowadays with rising inflation and prices.

Love this place. Been coming here for many years. Best one in OC in my opinion. Got the cheese pizza with basil. Delicious. Quick service, plenty of room for dine in and clean restaurant overall. Casual for sure.

Very good place for NY style pizza, at very reasonable prices. Unlike what it says on-line, there is space for dine-in, though the majority were doing pick-up. Terra Mia specializes in New York style pies, and their 18" has 8 large slices that are sized as what you would imagine a pizza slice would be. They also have a good assortment of slices ready to reheat, if that's all you need. The manager/staff was rightfully proud of the awards that they are getting. We ended up getting two 18" pies: Hawaiian ($23.50) and Deluxe ($24.50). Both were generous with their toppings. It took us about 30 minutes to bring the pizza home. Everyone agreed it was good pizza, and worth going to again if in the area, especially if you are able to dine-in.

Fantastic pizza! I grabbed a pepperoni and basil pizza. The pepperoni was delicious and basil was sliced fresh. I really enjoy places that can take a basic idea and elevate the flavor profiles. The crust was thin and light. I also grabbed some garlic knots which had tons of roasted garlic on it as well. Staff was friendly and got our order done quickly. Plenty of table seating inside.

Terra Mia is legit New York pie. I order it crisp (not well done). Try to eat it as soon as you can out of the oven. The House pie is great too-feta bacon spinach pepperoni. I highly recommend Terra Mia.

Forget about it This is what you want This is the best pizza I've had in Southern California, California God I'm so glad I just found this place It's absolutely delicious I live about 45 minutes away from here and I'll be driving 45 minutes to get this pizza from now on The crust is perfect. The flavors are perfect. The ranch is perfect. The Parmesan is perfect. The peppers are perfect. Oh man this is awesome. And it's right off the freeway.

This is my absolute favorite place to get pizza from. It is amazing every time and I will go here forever till the end of time. My favorite is a white jalapeño cheddar pizza. Yum Yum party in my mouth. I don't know of another place that even comes close. They have the best pizza in all of California. The owner of this business is always courteous, always takes the time to say hello, and remembers my face. Great ambiance inside Resturaunt I have a glass of wine while I wait for pizza. Always the best pizza--must have once per week. Perfect crust and fresh, juicy tomatoes in our aromatic Margarita pizza. Unfortunately, tiramisu not as good today. It was frozen and tasteless. Thank goodness there's a great bakery around the corner.

I have tried the lunch special pizzz by the slice before and the pizza was fantastic on two occasions. This time I dined in with my wife and we tried the half pepperoni and half bbq chicken large pizza. At the time we ordered we weren't told the half and half would be a whopping $7.00 extra ($3.50 for each half). When I actually paid for the pizza, I realized I was charged extra. When the pizza arrived, it was super soggy and the chicken half didn't taste good. If I would have known how much the half and half would be, I would not have ordered it.

Went to get dinner here today. We got 4 slices and 4 garlic knots. I got the house pizza which is bacon, pepperoni, spinach and feta. It was delicious. The service was great. The guy at the casheir was very friendly and informative.

Went to visit a friend in Laguna yesterday and he said I need to try this out. So we ordered a pepperoni pizza and the pizza was the closest I've had to NY ever. The service there is friendly and attentive. The ambiance was nice, but we took the pizza to go.

I've been coming here for years after my dear friend from New York recommended it. Their pies are delicious! I usually get the house special, and cheese for my kids. However, the wait times can be quite unpredictable. They often tell me 20-30 minutes, but even on weekdays, it's not very reliable. I've waited an extra 15 minutes past the estimated time, and sometimes when I arrive early, my pizza is already cold. Despite this, the pizza is worth it. Their large pies are only a few dollars more, so I always get one for the leftovers. Plus, their pizzas freeze wonderfully.

Always good food especially their sandwiches and great lunch specials Monday-Sat I think. It could be 7 days a week. !

Very expensive 19 for meatballs and a salad. I paid they asked for extra dressing and they want $1. You don't give enough to begin with . I hate places that Nicole and dime their customers. I know everything is expensive but you only give me a tiny amount for a big salad.

We're back! This time we tried the meatball sandwich and the garlic knots and both were equally delicious. I had to order the calzone again because once you try it you want to have it again and again. Not pictured - the cannoli. The pastry was flaky and crispy which is a sign that they are filled to order. Amazing!

A very nice place and I have to say , the best pizza Ive ever had. My go to place from now on. Give it a try.

This is my favorite pizza in town! Very authentic and the cherry on the top is Rudy. The owner is extremely personable and obviously takes good care of his staff. Try their house pizza as well as their white pizza is to die for!

Terra serves large sized thin crust pizzas that, in my opinion, are comparable to places like Sal's. They had a variety of excellent flavors. The Sunday Special is a treat: 3 single pieces and a drink for $10.24 out the door. The interior feels like an authentic pizzeria. Parking was confusing because the whole area is under construction right now (February 2024) so be on the lookout for the signs to the business if you have 't been here before.

We always enjoy coming. They have amazing GF pizza and delicious large salads. Great service too!

Great Pizza and Breadsticks. All the food is good! Meatballs are delicious as well. I would definitely recommend.

The food is amazing but a little inconsistent. I always order a large pizza but every time I do, I get a different slice count. They could be big slices which gives me like 6 slices or they could be smaller 8 or 10 slices.. doesn't bother me too much since I'm still getting the same large pizza but it is kind of difficult if you're sharing. The Buffalo chicken wings are nice a smoky with a lot of sauce. Tender and juicy. But this is also inconsistent. Sometimes I get a lot of sauce and sometimes it's just not up to par. Garlic knots are always great. Soft, fluffy and airy, I always make sure to order 2 of these so I can eat through the day. Meatball and marinara is one of my go to orders as well since their meatballs are pretty big. Nice and meaty with a little bite. They give you a lot of marinara which is good for when I order my garlic knots. I'm not sure if their inconsistency is because everything is made in house or their lack of care but I'm still going to keep coming back for my pizza fix because their pizza is amazing.

Ah, nothing like entering a pizzeria and seeing stacks of humungo garlic knots behind a display case. And, yes, they are absolutely worth getting!! Super fluffy and spongy (for you makeup people out there they reminded me of hydrated Beautyblender sponges LOL). Top-notch garlic-buttery goodness. Once you eat one it's very hard to not eat more lol. Oh and about the pizza here: delectably crispy.....almost cracker-like! Ordered a Hawaiian; liked that the ham slices were crispy on the edges but wished that the pineapple pieces were bigger and were drained longer to remove more of the can syrup. Also got a cannoli. Pretty decent. Shell could've been crispier but still appreciative that the filling wasn't overly sweet like cannoli at other places. Friendly service and place has chill neighborhood pizza spot vibes. Even if you're not a fan of thin-crust pizza I you should still check this place out for the garlic knots!

First time here based on YELP comments. House pie is fantastic & we really liked the pepperoni pizza too. Very friendly staff & excellent service. Looking forward to trying other menu items. We will be back soon!

Really good stuff. Grabbed the house pie and didn't realize it isn't made with sauce until I got home haha. Oh well, good reason to go back soon to try more stuff. Pizza was nice and crispy, no flop. Went in on a Friday around dinner time and they were super busy. Think the cashier said it was as 40 min wait so I grabbed a beer and my order was ready before I even finished my beer. They did forget the dessert I ordered though but good thing I noticed when I got to the car. Also got the antipasto salad which was good as well. I'm curious what Portnoy would score this pizza! #onebite

Owner is super down to earth and helpful. The staff is open to helping you make a decision and giving great feedback on how they feel about the pies. They have a couple tvs to watch games and the vibe around the restaurant is very chill. Ambiance is relaxed no pressure to be dressed a certain way very casual. Food in terms of appearance and taste was top notch. The cheese that's used is perfect and the ingredients are premium. Crust is thin and has good sturdiness for a great crunch! Highlight recommend this spot!

So disappointing! We've enjoyed these pizzas in the past...last night we ordered 2 pizzas (margarita & Hawaiian: there was ALMOST NO CHEESE , just dry crust with a little sauce on both pizzas..we won't go back again

Excellent food at a great price. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they have messed up my Doordash order a couple of times. Still, the food is outstanding, and as a former New Yorker, I'm really glad that I found this gem of a restaurant.

Great little pizza joint. Lunch special 2 slices and a drink for about $7. Slices are not just cheese or pepperoni. My favorite is the spinach ricotta, and house special. Pizza is thin crust and just good. The staff is alway pleasant, and there's plenty of seating.
