First impressions were not great. The curb appeal is terrible. It's located in a strip mall right next to a laundry mat with virtually no parking available other than valet in the back. No one was manning the front, but when I got a waitress' attention in the back area, I was given complimentary champagne and taken to a booth. Music and atmosphere were great but it was absolutely empty. My friend and I were the only customers for the entire time we were there 4:30p-6:40p. I ordered off the HH menu and had 3 drinks, the stroganoff pasta, and the salmon fried deviled eggs. Everything was pretty good. Pasta beef pieces were a little too fatty, though, and had some gristle pieces that weren't very appetizing. Drinks were pretty good but were a little bit too watery for my liking. But overall, I would have given it another shot because service was great, and the vibes were there. My friend and I had a great time. That is until the bill came. Imagine my surprise when my bill came out to $92. I found that strange and asked the server if the gratuity was already included, which it was. I found that weird since I've never been pre charged a tip for a group of less than 6 people. Also, my bill wasn't adding up. The device showed that my subtotal was $62, and the final was $92. After I got a printed receipt, it turns out that a delivery fee was charged of $24. That's almost 39%. I've never heard of a place charging almost 40% tip before. Although I had a decent time, I will never be going back to this place again. It's a shame, too, because I would have loved to add it to my rotation of places to hang out. If you want a decent experience but overpriced food and astronomical hidden fees, you can try this place out. Otherwise, save your money for a nice steakhouse instead.
