"Neighborhood restaurant Terra has been around since 2006, and always puts out exciting plates pulling from around the globe, like Korean short rib wraps or fried kibbeh, but if you’re looking for a Southern spread selection, go for the pimento cheeseburger pizza. Tip: Every Wednesday is Pizza and Pinot Night where a pie and a bottle cost just $32." - Erin Perkins

"A Columbia mainstay since 2006, Terra continues to keep it fresh with daily specials highlighting local ingredients. There are few greater pleasures than dining on Terra’s shaded patio on a balmy day. It’s easy to stop in at happy hour to enjoy a cocktail from the bar (perhaps a shiso gin and tonic, with fresh grassy shiso leaves, bright lime zest, and house tonic) with an appetizer, perhaps Korean-inspired short rib lettuce wraps or fried oysters. Patrons looking for a full meal should stay for chef Mike Davis’ seasonal specials, like his recent take on eggplant parmesan, served with a fennel, celery, and parsley salad. The staff is top notch, always ready to recommend a dish and the perfect wine to accompany it." - Anne Wolfe Postic

"The bar at Terra shines under the watchful eye of general manager Matt Catchpole, a cocktail pundit in his own right. Regulars fill the bar at the neighborhood bistro in trendy West Columbia for well-executed classics and seasonal sips constructed with housemade cordials and local ingredients. Dinner fish specials are often caught by chef Mike Davis and the lamb mac has never left the menu." - Stephanie Burnette

"Beneath Terra's unassuming striped awning and simple sign is an honest-to-goodness neighborhood bistro that's welcoming from the moment you walk in. Exposed brick, a cozy bar, and an ever-changing menu makes the restaurant comfortable but never stale—and if that's not the recipe for success, we don't know what is. Chef Mike Davis sources great products, follows the seasons, and edits his dishes so there's just enough going on. Therefore, it's often hard to make a decision on what to order—everything looks good. Anything seafood is usually a winner, but if there's triggerfish on the menu, by all means, pull that trigger." - Stephanie Burt

Pleasant early Father’s Day dinner at this fine restaurant. The cocktails were excellent. We were a party of five. The lamb Mac was a group favorite; everyone enjoyed it. The house salad with goat cheese was also good. Two orders of the ribeye steak and fries were brought to our table. Perfect medium rare with excellent fries. My scallops were perfect. The lamb entree was also very good. The one thing I would like to add, apart from the excellent food was the time given to us at the table to talk and enjoy the atmosphere between drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. I was pleasantly surprised that we were not “rushed” out in any way. You don’t see that in many restaurants in the US. I will be returning, for sure

5 ⭐ all around Service was great and the food was amazing. Cocktail/ wine list is unique and interesting. We had the Korean BBQ lettuce wraps, fried oysters, soft shell crab, and steak & fries. All perfectly done and delicious. Highly recommend.

We were in the area today just as they opened and grabbed a seat and so happy we did. The pork chop was so juicy and flavorful and the squash blossoms were amazing.

Walked in for dinning and was told by hostess that it was a 2 hour wait but we saw empty tables available. We decided to go to the bar to take a look at the menu. Bartender was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu selections. She also told my guess and I that we could be seated immediately. Food and drinks were great.

We had a not so pleasant experience at a nearby establishment, and because we had driven to this side of town for my birthday celebration. We arrived, were seated and had a wonderful appetizer of short rib wraps. My wife ordered a dish of flounder that they were out of but substituted with Snapper. I got the pork chop with the pimento cheese spoonbread, and broccoli. For dessert we shared the Blood Orange Pudding Cake. ALL was delicious, and the service was even better.

This riverside eatery is a great place to take in the city skyline view. There are amazing menu options for vegans, beautiful specially made cocktails, alongside seasonal wines and beers.

Google
I like the funky jazz music they have in the background. The list of beers is amazing. I recommend the tiny bomb pilsner with the cold oysters. I will come back definitely. Update, New years dinner here 2023. I highly recommend the fried oysters. There was also a potato pancake with caviar, excellent 👌👌👌. Our waitress, Kaitlin was the best.

Google
The food was excellent. Our server Jazlee was great! Highly recommend the steak and the flounder. And our desert with in house made ice cream was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Always excellent food and great service. Their drink menu is good as well. Lovely place to have a quiet dinner, a romantic dinner or just a gathering of friends. Make sure to leave room for dessert

Yelp
I'm the type of Mom who loves celebrating every possible thing, every day and I'm all about experiences. When celebrating my sons latest accolades in the Columbia area, I found myself spending a good amount of time trying to curate the perfect graduation day for him (from my Airbnb, to his favorite little traditional celebratory dessert and meals). I really wanted to pay homage to the fact we were in Columbia and try many of their local restaurants while selecting places that felt in line with our usual vibe. Terra was a fantastic choice! We shared a really lovely dinner here together. My mom, my sons girlfriend and I each ordered a different cocktail. They were all great but I think my sons girlfriends took the cake. A mezcal based drink (and I don't typically love the smokiness of a mezcal) but this drink was very very good. My mom had a unique cocktail that incorporated peanut butter and jelly. Very impressive! My tequila based grapefruit cocktail was refreshing but certainly the most basic of the bunch. We ordered many items to share family style between the five of us, because we often want a little bit of everything when trying a new spot. The Korean short rib lettuce wraps were insane good! The lamb Mac (which I kept referring to as lobster Mac) followed and was also very, very good!!! We shared the pimento cheeseburger pizza - holy moly! Delish! And the fresh fish of the day (soooo yummy). My mom always orders her own things and shares with us, she had the green salad (sooo yummy! I had a good bit of it) and the Trout (also very good!). I think a fish dish is definitely the move here. We ordered two, I'd strongly suggest at least one. They are very nicely done. Every item we ordered was 5 star! I'd highly recommend Terra based on our experience. Great spot for a nice dinner.

Yelp
Delicious food and an elegant locals atmosphere. Menu is a bit limited on main course options, but all of the choices looked delicious. The wine list and drink lists were very good and provided many options. Servers seemed a bit overwhelmed but worked hard and were very knowledgeable. I decided to start with the lamb Mac which was absolutely amazing! It was a creamy mac & cheese with goat cheese and fontina, with bits of smoked lamb shoulder throughout. I would get this every time. For my main course, I decided to go with the Carolina heritage farms, pork chop, which had a Hispanic flair, and was very flavorful. All in all, I was very happy with my experience, the meal, and the atmosphere.

Yelp
Ok... so beyond impressed, was traveling for work and a friend suggested, they were spot on. We sat at the bar, staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The BEST paper plane I have had in a long time!! Fried oysters for apps, with swamp sauce Grilled Grouper was cooked to perfection The pork Milanese was one of the most creative concoctions I have tasted, so delectable!! Did not take a ton of pics but we were thoroughly enjoying!

Yelp
Made reservations for a Saturday evening at 5:15. They opened at 5pm so not many people when we arrived but the place quickly started to fill up. Service was good as the waitress had great suggestions. For starters ordered raw oysters and simple salad, both were great 5/5. For entrees we had the steak and soft shell crab. The steak was cooked perfectly was great flavor. The crab was the best soft shell I've ever had. I'm hesitant ordering soft shell because the shell texture can be tough to get pass but theirs was perfectly executed and full or great flavor. Also had the sherry cocktail with was like a Smokey margarita made with mezcal, really good. The ambiance was nice. It's very spacious and clean and they have free valet parking!! Would recommend!

Jeff N.

Yelp
Both the scallops and trout were amazing. Great service and a nice ambiance. We'll definitely be back. Would like to see a little more extensive dessert menu.

Yelp
Terra is unique in many ways: according to the chef, who visited our table after our meal, he's owned it for 17 years. So to longevity I would add a quiet, pleasant ambience, great service, and innovative, and flavorful dishes. If you want to kick your meal off with some nice drinks, the wine and and beer list is extensive, I admit I wasn't familiar with most of the wine labels. I had an old-fashioned with Maker's and I was quite satisfied. We ordered a bottle of Zinfandel. Dry for a Zin but a good choice. Kudos to our server Halle, very pleasant and accommodating. Our appetizers consisted of the fried kibbeh, Brussels-nomiyaki, Korean short rib lettuce wraps, domestic shrimp remoulade, and some green salads. This reviewer was fortunate to have sampled most of the starters. They were all good but the stars of the "starter show" were the brussels and lettuce wraps. The brussels sprouts are shredded and seasoned with ginger mayo, fish sauce caramel, and Bonita flakes (they sway!). Great crunch and savory heaven. We had some great entrées as well: pork Milanese, steak frites, vegetable explosion, vegetable plate, and lamb chops. I don't think you could go wrong with any of these entrées. My pork was served with a romesco sauce. The flavor was strong with a touch of smokiness; the ribeye steak had a good flavor. I had a chance to taste the vegetable explosion. Authentic Unami with this one! We wrapped up this epic meal with some great desserts. The carrot cake came highly recommended. It was good, but not the best we've had. If you're looking for a unique dining experience and great service, Terra will not disappoint.

Alexis N.

Yelp
Love this place! Love the food, great atmosphere, and convenient location for us. We've always had good service too!

Samantha S.

Yelp
Terra was the perfect restaurant for a birthday dinner. My guests and I enjoyed several dishes that incorporated some of the freshest ingredients. The lamb Mac and cheese was the star. The service was great and the complimentary valet parking was an added bonus.

C C.

Yelp
Ambiance really nice in Terra. We have eaten here a number of times over the years and feel very comfortable in this space. Server was attentive, if sometimes not always accurately informed. The food was as advertised and amazing. This is always a good choice for a special evening out.

Lindsey B.

Yelp
I had the pork chop entrée, which was a tractive to look at, but I found it a little bit less than exciting. By contrast the makers, mark ice cream was top-of-the-line. The beet salad was acceptable and interesting, but the price was far more than you would think for what you got. my next trip I'll go back to the standard, which is the pimento cheese burger pizza. Newcomers better be prepared to spend $200 for two people

Tori E.

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner after a bourbon tasting party with my husband & we are already set on coming back again! We ate with a couple new friends we just made at the bourbon tasting. When we got there, we ended up sitting at the bar area because we didn't make reservations and the wait was going to be 30 mins, which was totally fine. Next time though, we will make reservation. After we sat down, we were greeted by our server and we ordered our drinks. Then, I ordered the Korean BBQ lettuce wraps and my husband ordered the steak frites. Our friends ordered a couple pizzas and were happy with their orders. The food was great! It all tasted so fresh & delicious! I was very satisfied with my Korean BBQ lettuce wraps & my husband loved his steak and fries. I love that they change their menu every week, too. It makes me want to come back and try more!

Yelp
Love Terra. We walked in and since no reservations we sat at a first come bar table. Great atmosphere of a restaurant where clean lines meets classy. Menu is extensive for drinks , craft beer and various wines . Small plates or large plates items exist from vegetarian to carnivores. We enjoyed the fried oysters for an appetizer 10 pieces with a two different dipping sauces Tender and not overly fried Two of us ordered the Wreck fish with fried okra and a gently spicy hot sauce along with blacked eye peas. While I ordered the shrimp with fresh greens. This was light,, fresh and clean tasting. Through out the evening we ordered drinks whole waiting for food.. Now all was very good except...service was slow to get drinks, slow to get food, slow to get check..we felt like we we were regularly looking for our wait staff to come back.. This was frustrating.. this type of restaurant should have service that anticipates a patron potential needs or want a. Now I understand some businesses need help...but it seemed like they had the proper ratio of staff to patrons. Hopefully this will get better Definitely worth another trip... even with the questionable service

Grayson M.

Yelp
I've been here twice. Once was many years ago, and once was a few weeks ago. I enjoy a nice Michelob with my dinner, but they don't have any typical domestic beers, and the recommended light beer was not very good. I had the scallop dish, it was nothing special. The corn served with it had a weird after taste. The service was good. The charcuterie board was OK, I wouldn't order it again. Not very many things included on it and can't really share it with more than two people. Would I return? Maybe. There are definitely better options in town, in my opinion.

Emmaleigh F.

Yelp
We went for the Pinot and Pizza night - highly recommend! So fun for a girls night or date night idea!

Kimmy N.

Yelp
You can check out all my other food photos on Instagram at adventures_in_eating_ I came to Tara to check out these two items on the menu. First let me say I'm not a fan of Mac and cheese, but oh my gosh!!!! This lamb Mac and cheese was epic. There was a party in my mouth! Korean short rib lettuce wraps was awesome. I love that this place has its own dedicated pizza maker and it's on Pizza oven. Sitting at the bar is great for watching how they make pizza

Victoria R.

Yelp
Terra was an experience that I need more of! Everything was phenomenal. I had the oysters on the half shell with the mignonette that made me want to cry tears from the angels. I then tried the fried oysters- I have never liked fried oysters so for me to say they were good is a major deal. I also tried the lamb Mac and cheese! Good heavens that is a combination only the amazing chef could think of. I finally arrived to my entrée which was the ribeye... my goodness! I tried eating it slow to savor every bite but it was so good I couldn't slow down. I will be back again. Standing ovation to the chef!

Matt A.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing!!! The service, the food no complaints! Steak was cooked to perfection and I'm pretty sure I could have cut it with my fork! From Georgia, but will definitely be back!!

Kathryn D.

Yelp
We we're not impressed with the service/food was okay but not great for the price. We'll go somewhere else another time. Sorry

Martin H.

Yelp
So freaking good. I enjoyed a fantastic dinner with my wife for my birthday and I'm glad we came here. It's not just about good food. It's about atmosphere , wait staff, drinks and the depth of the food flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant. It is worth it!

Willie V.

Yelp
Best place ever. I was a little suspicious, but they provided a wonderful dining experience. Food was incredible, wait staff polite, informed and right on time, not overbearing. The venue was well lit, with nice decor.

Kathy R.

Yelp
The food was outstanding! We had the rib-eye and the trout. The trout was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Very delicious. The dessert was ridiculously yummy! Called the KitKat. So yummy!! Service was very good. And the atmosphere is lovely.

Cindy M.

Yelp
One of Columbia's best. Farm to table freshness. Every Wednesday is pizza and Pinot noir. If you want a thick crust, this is not your place. Thin crust, fresh ingredients, baked in front of you. Pure deliciousness. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A must visit restaurant in Cola.

Rebecca N.

Yelp
We've been here a few times now and every time it's been delicious! I remembered to take photos this time. The wait for our food was longer than usual but the staff was friendly and mildly (in a good way) apologetic. Highly recommend any of their seafood dishes! Haven't tried their Wood Oven Pizza yet but I've heard good things and people seem to always order it at other tables. Will try next time!

Allan F.

Yelp
We were given a list of places to try that we shouldn't take the kids. We were able to easily make a reservation online and were sat immediately when we arrived. The restaurant looks amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious. The lettuce wraps and the cream less creamed corn were so delicious and totally unexpected. They looked good but was surprised by how good. We will definitely be back and even though it would be good for older children ours are really young and don't think this would be a place for them.

Shaun K.

Yelp
Best fine dining food and experience in Columbia. Chef Mike walks around to make sure your food and experience is excellent. We've NEVER had a bad meal here.

Ray D.

Yelp
They have a Great pimento cheeseburger pizza and wonderful adult beverages. Also tried the Steak Frites and it was amazing. Oh and don't forget the Chocolate Bombe for dessert.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The food is very expensive. It is a different cuisine if you're daring. You will likely have to go to McDonald's after to be full.

Carolina H.

Yelp
There are only a handful of exceptional restaurants in Columbia, SC. Terra is at the top of this list. The menu changes seasonally and always features local offerings and exciting flavor combinations. Terra has the best Angus ribeye in town and boasts a stellar cocktail list. The staff are accommodating, friendly and extremely attentive; there's also complimentary valet parking! Terra deserves 10 gold stars!

Gabriela B.

Yelp
First, I will start off with the "Eddie Must Go" cocktail that I ordered. I am not embellishing when I say that this is the best cocktail I have ever tasted at the many restaurants I've visited in the last five years. It was the perfect blend of spicy, tart, and refreshing! My pan seared sea scallops were flavorful and cooked to perfection! My two friends got the pork chop and fish and loved every bite. To finish, we had a lemon tart and thought it was refreshing and a perfect way to cap off the night. From the outside, Terra didn't seem like much, but when we stepped inside, we were taken aback by the swanky vibe. Such a stunning spot!

Wendy B.

Yelp
Great for a nice dinner! Great date night option!! Or meet your girlfriends for wine and dinner!!

Karen F.

Yelp
It's been 3 years since my last review of Terra, but I've dined there multiple times since then. The food continues to be excellent; several months ago, the steak I ordered on that visit was the absolute best I have ever had. On my most recent visit I ordered the pork chop which was cooked perfectly (med. well but remained moist). They were accommodating a private party in a separate room so there was a lot of wait staff traffic down the main aisle and unfortunately, I think our server was not as attentive as those we've had on prior visits. But I would still give Terra five stars. Their outside dining in the courtyard is a nice option, too.

Gina C.

Yelp
PIZZA is incredible! Thin crust is awesome! Only 3 options but ingredients are incredible. Wednesdays = pizza & wine special! $25 pizza & bottle of Pinot Noir. Other menu items absolutely delicious too!

Tiffanie C.

Yelp
Beautiful decor, valet parking, gorgeous delicious food... Excellent price on Hendricks MArtini w/ cucumber $8.50 Soup tonight: amazing! Ordered the oyster app Butchers plate Porkchops

Dan M.

Yelp
We had shark, pork chop and 12 oz steak. Steak was tasty but fatty. A bit high at $44. Real complaint was a $12 drink that had a HUGE rectangular piece of ice so you got a small amount of alcohol.

Omer G.

Yelp
Been here a few times. The recent visit, was a little hurried since I arrived 10 minutes before closing. Ordered the Mahi (no pork in gravy-my personal choice). It was mouthgasmic; the right balance of cream, heat, texture. No skimping on portions either. I'm not a southern food devotee typically (tend to find it bland) but Terra has made me re-evaluate that with this recent experience. Check them out!

Jonathan J.

Yelp
Out running errands and decided to give a try. Food was really good and I definitely will return. Discovered that they regularly update their menu so look forward to what new items they have. The service was great....our waiter was very attentive, knew the menu well, and provided recommendations. Now the food: Pimento Cheeseburger pizza: server said it was his best pizza and it was delicious. Very subtle pimento taste too it but it worked well Lamb Mac: so good. Definitely worth trying. It is always on the menu apparently. It wasn't a firm Mac, a little more runny sauce but the flavors were amazing. Really enjoyed it. Key West cannoli - if you are craving a tangy dessert...this is is! Very sweet and perfect balance with the key lime and coconut meringue

Audrey C.

Yelp
Such a pretty restaurant, the atmosphere is a little bit more upscale. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The food is from farm to table with local products. All our meals were tasteful, colorful without any overpowering spices. The menu is pricier than other restaurants but does reflect the quality and products used.

Makaela P.

Yelp
I came with a big group for a medication review dinner type of event. The restaurant had a separate area for groups that allowed us to be in a private place with room to sit as well as projector for the meeting. The food was excellent and have nothing but great things to say about it. I got the 12 oz steak ribeye with mashed potatoes, which was great. It was cooked to the correct temperature and wasn't too pink in the middle, which I like. The wait staff was super nice and helpful! I'm so glad that I went to the meeting and that it was hosted here! Parking is pretty small but they do have valet parking and there's free parking in the area. *the meal came with the event so I didn't have to pay for it but I'm not sure if it would be worth $30! Just FYI* Customer Service: everyone was super friendly and attentive

Jonny E.

Yelp
We called for reservations for a marriage Proposal event when we arrived they didn't find the Reservation and offer us to sit on the bar like a dogs I will never ever put my little fingers over this place

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my experience and will definitely come back. If you haven't done so, you should check this place out!

Rachel B.

Yelp
So happy I finally went to Terra, as it's been on my list of places to visit in Columbia for quite some time! Just outside of the downtown area, it's in a more residential part of town. Quiet, not a lot of foot traffic, with breathtaking views of the downtown skyline from tables by the window. Valet is offered, as parking is limited. Once inside, it's quiet and intimate. A great spot for a romantic dinner if you so choose, but there were also quite a few people coming from the office, like us. We started off with a few drinks from their impressive wine/cocktail lists. I can't for the life of me think of the names of the drinks, but both of mine had a smokey whiskey in them. One with rhubarb and the next with strawberry. Ah-mazing! There were 2 of us, so naturally we ordered 2 appetizers! The "Quack Madame" includes the most tender duck confit and quail egg I've ever had. It was, in a word, brilliant! It's the stuff Foodie dreams are made of! We also had the Butchers Plate. My friend and I were torn on that ... I loved the pate, him not so much. He loved the pickled snap peas, but not I. The good news is that there was plenty to choose from between those and the charcuteries, so we each got what we wanted! They had a crispy quail appetizer special that sounded to die for. Maybe next time! For our main course, I had the Pork Chops with the bourbon jus. Great flavor, cooked well, and the veggies were packed with flavor. My friend had the Moules Frittes (mussels) and unfortunately, wasn't wowed. Not too much broth in the bowl and they were a bit bland. Presentation of both was exquisite. Dessert ... can you say "Delish?" We shared the Nutterbutter Pie and it was the perfect ratio of cold chocolate to smooth nutter butter filling, on top of a graham cracker crust. Served with a scoop of ice cream. It was so very good! All in all, great meal. The duck appetizer really was phenomenal and I can't wait to get it again!

Craig C.

Yelp
I'd probably go back, although I was a little surprised by what was on my plate at first. When I thought of Quail, I thought it might be like duck. I was expecting a small amount of meal with no bones. What came out on my plate horrified me at first; I couldn't believe two quails we're doing the slip and slide with the sauce. I guess I just didn't know what I was ordering! I could've done without the bones. I did enjoy the meat, but I was a bit shocked at first. The lamb Mac and cheese was absolutely to die for. The Kimshi appetizer was a tad salty but good, and the pizza was pretty good too. Service was very fast for the appetizer but we waited about 30 minutes for our dinner to come out. Overall a pretty good restaurant with a nice atmosphere!

Meredith B.

Yelp
It was our first time at Terra and we came for our first anniversary. Food and drink prices were high, but portion sizes were good. Food tasted delicious though a little heavy on the salt. Wait staff was excellent and helpful and we had no problem getting a table reservation. Very unique, French-influenced dishes, not a lot of options for vegetarians. Not necessarily black-tie, more casual. Would go back!

Lior M.

Yelp
We have arrived for an event invitation !! The guy at the reception tried to sit at the bar and was very rude .. We told him we called to make a reservation the day before and he still had not seated us I will never get close to this place

Abigail R.

Yelp
Decided to try this place on a whim last weekend. The food was amazing! My fiancé ordered the steak, which was cooked perfectly (rare but charred on the outside). I ordered the Lamb Mac and Cheese with the Brussels Sprout salad as my side. Both were fantastic! I could have ate the salad every day for an entire week. So many good flavors, the freshly grated Parmesan was a great touch. Lastly, I had a Pisco Sour while waiting, very yummy and just as I remember from visiting Peru! Will be coming here again.

Colleen M.

Yelp
The food was fine but 55 bucks for a steak with a tiny potato the size of a dinner roll and literally two pieces of broccolini...not worth it. My boyfriend and I split an appetizer and steak plus a drink each and still ended up with a 120 dollar bill, which sure if the food is great. The food was fine but not at all worth the price.

John C.

Yelp
Good food and service. Outrageously expensive cocktails. Do not plan on drinking much.

H B.

Yelp
I hate Yelp bc they bully restaurant owners to pay them, but I wanted to write a review for this restaurant bc I LOVE their food. One of the best 3 restaurants in Columbia. I know all of the great places to eat in Columbia, this one will not disappoint you. Chef has won numerous awards and it's obvious that he is constantly trying to improve his menu. The jerk chicken egg rolls with banana catsup are amazing!! I hope they keep those on the menu! Loved the Quack Madame, oysters and Duck entree. Those are my favorites. Soft shell crab was excellent as well. The creme brûlée dessert was a miss for me, but their homemade ice cream rocks my world.

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Went for a birthday dinner here and the food I tried was good. I ordered the swordfish dish that had curry sauce, plantains, black bean fritters, and coconut rice. Incredible. I also tried the lamb mac and cheese and it was perfect. They made my Hemingway Daquiri perfectly. Just like I like it. I forget the red wine we ordered for the table (Termosa or something like that) but it was deep and bold. Really good dining experience here. There was a bit of a wait between appetizers and the main course even though it wasn't a full house, but the food was worth the wait.
