The 17 Best Places To Eat & Drink At The Battery Atlanta

"Terrapin Taproom is attached to Truist Stadium, so on- and offseason, it’s a good spot to live and breathe all things Braves. If you’re with a big group or just enjoy screaming at the TV while you watch a game, you’ll fit in perfectly with the noisy atmosphere. If you need some carbs and protein to soak up the numerous Terrapins you consume, they collaborate with Fox Bros. to serve menu favorites like the pulled pork sandwich and beef brisket. The barbecue options are limited, but it’s still a reliable choice to satisfy those cravings." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford

Amazing service + great food = fantastic time! Our server, Dawn, was amazing. She provided wonderful service, made really helpful recommendations and made our brunch perfect. The biscuits were so fluffy and just delicious! We had crispy potatoes with tender yellow/red bell peppers. Pancakes were huge and tasty. Fantastic brunch with family - thanks and be sure to ask for Dawn!

Google
Nice taproom! Arrived during the lunch hour and found the place mostly empty. Bartender was friendly and very attentive. Ordered the brisket tacos and found them to be tasty but they were served a bit lukewarm rather than truly hot. The food came out quickly, however. Had three beers while here; a Pilsner, kölsch, and Belgian Tripel…all three were enjoyable for their style. Overall, a good place with some solid beers.

Google
Food 4/5 We ordered smoked wings and brisket Taquitos. The wings were pretty good but the brisket taquitos were very salty. But it wasn't a problem, the staff fixed it right away. Service 5/5 We were greeted with smiles from so many staffs as we walked in. Got seated right away and the our server was on point. Atmosphere 5/5

I typically frequent the original location, however, I took a leap of faith and tried this one and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I sat at the bar and Dawn took excellent care of my date and I. She didn’t try to upsell or pry, but she knew the perfect balance between great banter and exceptional service. The food came out quickly and fresh. The brisket is absolutely succulent and had an excellent bark. The ribs could use some more smoke, but famous and tender as usual. Must try the baked beans, potato salad and collard greens. Will be visiting again.

Google
Truly awesome. Pictures of fried pickles and fried jalapeños were after we had already had some. The half and half basket was awesome. Battered perfectly and perfect crispy. The Brisket sandwich was full and juicy. Pork had outstanding flavor. I expected so much less the quantity was great. I had the green beans was great side. Could not finish pickles and Brisket sandwich plate. Considering its in battery the pricing wasn't bad at all especially considering the serving sizes. My wife loved the beer options. Highly recommend if you are there. Show up early if going to Braves game.

Google
Apparently this is gone. In someone's brilliant wisdom they converted good barbeque and good beer into the most boring beer. They do still have fox bros. Super disappointing.

Brian Lawson

Google
Best smoked wings I ever had! No need for sauce. My kids had barbecue pork sandwiches and they loved it. The beer was great too. Prices are really cheap for the amount you food you get. They have military discount too. Service was impeccable!!! I'd recommend this place!

Google
Stopped by to grab dinner to go but I liked the atmosphere so much I decided to stay and eat at the bar. Understandably different than during a game, my visit was relatively quiet and calm. Their pulled pork sandwich was great, but it was their house BBQ sauce that really stunned me - A+! Food wasn't cheap (appetizer and an entree with one side was $18) but also didn't break the bank.

Yelp
The ambiance & area here are great, we actually sat outside & enjoyed people watching while we waited for our food. We came for their famous pimento cheese burger with bacon & everything else on the inside. The burger is huge (we shared between the 2 of us). Their fries were seasoned well & were crispy. They have a yummy spicy bbq sauce that isn't sweet (yuck I can't stand sweet bbq sauces) but is the vinegar based one that has a kick to it.

Yelp
My friend and I went here after enjoying a nearby event. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated. But during a baseball game, I could see the wait being long as it's right at the Braves stadium at The Battery. We mainly visited as we knew they served Fox Bros food. And it didn't disappoint. The menu was slightly different than the menu at Fox Bros standalone locations but the recipe was still the same and delicious. I got the pulled pork sandwich and the chili Mac with water. The sandwich was delicious as always. The chili Mac is EXTREMELY spicy. So beware but tasty. And they still serve plastic straws with their drinks which is a negative for me. Inside the space, it is a bar atmosphere which is perfect for being at a stadium.

Yelp
This spot is right outside the gates to Truist Park and is probably packed on game day. For a tourist on a non game day, it was dead. It is your average sports bar vibe but man, this is some good bbq. I tried the "burger" which is stuffed with brisket slices, bacon, cheese pickles, tomato, onion, slaw, sauce for $17. It was a hefty burger but that bbq was perfectly smoked and didn't even need any bbq sauce. I got the side of mac n cheese. While it was a small portion, it was creamy and a very good mac. We split the beer flight ($14) and picked some light and fresh beer samples. Our waiter was very helpful and even gave us a replacement for a beer we didn't like. Highly recommend the Quality Haps beer which is brewed onsite.

Yelp
Went late on a Friday night. A non-game day so we (party of 4) were able to get seated almost immediately. The food was okay The chicken tenders were really good and the brisket was fantastic Lots of TVs with games on... so the noise level is exactly what you'd expect. Not overly loud. Not sure I'd go back...

Yelp
My niece and I went here for drinks before a show at the Roxy as I know Terrapin has good beer. The place was busy but not packed, and we took the last couple seats at the bar. The beers did not disappoint, I had the Tripel Buzz, that was a good representation of the Belgian style, and the Brew Lab Milk Stout, and a second one because it was so good! We had a side of onion rings for a snack, which were good. I guess because it is part of the ballpark and people take the drinks to go, they served us drinks in aluminum Braves cups, which I can understand during the season, but we're sitting at the bar, so glass drinks would have been nice. But, I'm sure they have a good reason. I will say our bartender was a mixed bag. He wasn't very friendly, and while the bar was busy, he never checked on us, so we had to catch him to get drinks. On one round, my niece couldn't make up her mind and switched drink orders, which visibly frustrated him, and he huffed when he had to switch out a glass. I get his frustration on her changing her mind, but I believe a good bartender wouldn't let this show. He and another bartender had a repeated low key argument in front of us too, so maybe he was just having a bad day.

Yelp
Our bartender Mario saved this from being 2 stars. Wide-ranging custom beers, and the servers themselves work very hard in a busy environment. We came on a non-game day (it was a watch party) but no crowd to speak of... As I said, our bartender Mario was great. One mistake we made was ordering food. Just ordered the Taquitos. Taste was fine, and seasoned pretty well. They were undercooked though so a tad doughy, but tastes ok. Catch is, it took 25 mins to get an order of taquitos. That's pretty insane. This is the second time in a row here where the food takes forever. They need to really improve the wait time for food.

Yelp
We wanted to watch the Braves since they were home, and Fox Bros bar-b-q kiosk was the perfect spot to feel like you're in the stadium! Our server Malikah was very kind! We ordered the 2 meat combo. My boyfriend did not like the baked beans and substituted them instead for the green beans and they were much better! I enjoy both of my sides, the collard greens and the chili mac & cheese! I highly recommend the smoked wings and collard greens! We will definitely return, especially during a Braves game!

Yelp
Service was solid. food was fox bros bbq ambiance was a modern sports bar. now that that is out of the way, lets dive in. Fox bros is probably the best bbq in the atl area. the fact that you can get it right outside of the ballpark now is nothing short of a dream. I love the brisket and pickles, but try what you like. it is all great. The location is brand new and a bit hard to find if you dont know what you are looking for. the parking is a bit of a mess, but there is a large parking structure a few blocks away. If you are in the mood for baseball, beer, and bbq, there is no better spot to hit up. end of story.

Yelp
We came here to grab a quick bite and got seated right away. We ordered their signature burger, tacos and pickle chips. Portions were very generous. Pickle chips were my favorite. They were crunchy which is a key! Burger was massive and delicious, while tacos could've used a little bit more flavor. Overall a great place to grab a bite while visiting the Battery

Yelp
Food - Fox Bros BBQ ... need I say more? Nah, we LOVE Fox Bros and go whenever we're down in Decatur. My 9 year old eats a pork sandwich with fries and my 6 year old eats Mac n cheese with fries. My husband switches it up but always always gets the Frito Pie...I usually get the pork sandwich also, but their sides are all delicious so there is no "go to" there. We love that you can head into Terrapin and eat before the Braves Game. Just remember if you get there around 5:00 pm you will be waiting. We got there at 6pm last time and got to sit at 7:15 pm. Their wait times are accurate and the hostess is usually quite gracious and kind when delivering the news. Once you eat, get your tickets out and go in through the back to the stadium.

Yelp
Food was really good! Service was fantastic. Alex and Maddie at the upstairs bar were so funny and fantastic during our visit. Took great care of us.

Yelp
Went to the game and decided to eat somewhere else and I tried this version of Fox Brother's. Now I always loved the one in east Atlanta but this one was newer and I was skeptical I had 3 meat plates and it satisfied my tastebuds. The ambiance is open with a lot of moving parts, especially on game day but I endured it and wish I came another day Service decent, didn't like to go cups with food but that's the norm nowadays ‍ The food hit on all angles, hot and ready. The sausage was a little undercooked for my liking and my fave banana pudding which is my favorite was horrible at this location ‍ I couldn't eat it because when she brought it out it was off by the sight of it and that made me upset but the food had me so full I didn't remain upset when I left. Other than that fair place to eat.

Yelp
Love visiting this brewery! Lots of options, most of them are hoppy, good quality beer. Love getting the los bravos while in town for a game. They do have food, but we haven't eaten here. It's conveniently located with an entrance right into the stadium so you don't even have to leave to go into the game. The workers are all very nice! They have TVs to watch the game. They also have upstairs and outdoor seating in addition to the main room.
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance was a bit quiet, but still fun. I ordered the flight of beers. You get 5 beer samples for $14. They have lighter beers and stronger beers like 9% alcohol. The server, Justin picked the 5 samples for me and they were delicious. The coffee one was the strongest. Some sweeter and some more bitter. It was a fun experience. The chicken wings were good. The drumstick was ok. Not amazing like the reviews but good. Overall I would recommend this restaurant just for the flights and the service. Justin was really attentive and a amazing server. Happy Beer Tasting!

Yelp
My bf and I came here for dinner. The battery is such a fun/relaxing way to get a little exercise in and enjoy window shopping, drinking, etc. this place has a great view of the shops on the outside seating area. The food was very tender! Both the brisket and pork had great flavors, very soft and chewable, no fatty pieces... which I loved. The bun was soft which is a plus, but also greasy all over for some reason. The macaroni was really good and pairs great with the beans! I do wish they had more than two bbq sauces. I wasn't a fan of either but I settled with one. I would come back here for sure! The service was really good as well! Multiple people there to help you out . Great for family dinners.

Yelp
We came on a weekday, non game night, maybe an hour before closing. There were a good amount of people at the bar, but not many customers seated eating. We were able to walk right in and be seated. The staff were very helpful and courteous. I usually order brisket from Fox Bros, but this time I decided to try something different. We ordered drinks as well as the bbq totchos, brussels, and the Texas turkey. The food was decent, nothing to really rave about.

Katrinka S.

Yelp
I recently had an excellent experience here. I brought my grandson here prior to the Luke Bryan concert. My grandson has anaphylactic allergies to eggs, dairy, and peanuts. His food cannot touch eggs, milk, or peanuts and cannot have food that is processed on equipment with eggs, milk, or peanuts. The chef Charmaine Peurifoy was so professional and attentive. She listened and informed us of what she could prepare safely for him. We had a great experience that was safe and tasty! Kudos to the Chef and the staff!
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
I stopped in here for dinner on a weekday. I was able to get a seat at the bar easily since baseball wasn't in season. The bartender was fast and friendly. While the beer was good, the food was pretty poor. I had the 2 meat meal with brisket, wings with cornbread and potato salad. The sides were bland and lacked any real flavor. The wings were pretty good but the brisket also lacked any real flavor. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this spot for food. If you're looking for a drink before the game, this is a good option but I'm sure it gets packed on game day.

Yelp
This is a very unassuming place at the battery. In addition to serving delicious terrapin beer on draft ( so many choices ) they also have fox brother bbq!! We went by with a group of 8 on a weeknight and it was slow so seated right away. That said they are so understaffed and there was one waiter serving 10-15 parties. We enjoyed the time with friends and the noise level is good for conversation. They do host events and Trivia so follow their social media or call ahead. Parking at the battery is free for the first few hours at the red parking garage. There's also a decorated Christmas tree that you can see from the restaurant. Check it out

Yelp
My friend and I popped in here since we were meeting up with a larger group for a nearby bar. Since we had time to kill we grabbed a drink really quick from their outside bar. We decided on their Forty four (gin) and peach (vodka) drink. I prefer my drinks to be less sweet so I was happy with my gin drink but the peach drink was also not bad! Prices were fair costing around $26 for two standard cocktails. Bartender was nice and efficient with making the drinks. Overall, we had a good experience and wouldn't mind doing what we did again.

Yelp
Went to this spot for a Friday afternoon meal in the Battery. Went with the brussles and hazy IPA to start. They both were very good. I did like the feta on the brussels and the IPA was nice and cold on a warm afternoon. For lunch l ordered the brisket plate with greens and mac n cheese. It was all good, the greens were cooked nicely just a little strong on the vinegar. The mac n cheese was very good and creamy. The brisket was also good the right amount of bark/crunch with a little fat for moisture. The wait staff was good and prompt, she also provided good recommendations on the choices. A good spot to chill for a good lunch.

Yelp
DISCLAIMER: If you are going on a game day, prepare for at least an hour wait, to the very last minute. Food was absolutely delicious. There is something for everyone including children (but not vegetarians, even some of the sides have meat in them). Our table had ribs, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and brisket. Now the brisket comes in 2 ways: lean or fat! That fattier brisket was amazing. You don't need any sauce for the food either but they do have a regular BBQ sauce, spicy BBQ sauce and spicy vinegar to add to your food. The side dishes were very good as well, about 8 to choose from including macaroni and cheese, baked beans and collard greens. They also have their in-house Terrapin beer on tap with flavor options too. Being in Georgia I had peach of course. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Trent N.

Yelp
Come here for beers and people watching. The wings are ok as are the brussel sprouts. Definitely more a sports bar/brewery feel. I like that it is literally connected to the Braves stadium. Solid service.
google avatar

Jenn B.

Yelp
My husband and I had tickets for the Braves vs Giants game. Love the Battery!! Hot day, all the kiddos enjoying the water squirting up! Stop at Terrapin for a couple margaritas as we did in the past. Server who took our order and payment forgot to get our drinks...so new bartender gave us double shots!! Worth the wait!
google avatar

Kim W.

Yelp
Chicken was not cooked all the way through. Ribs were just ok. Been to other Fox Bros. and the food was much better.
google avatar

Mahlah R.

Yelp
We beat the rush and had a late lunch before a braves game. Loud atmosphere if that bugs you which it didn't for me. Did a 2 meat plate and it was good. Decent BBQ - 3.5 rounded to 4 stars

Yelp
Terrapin taproom is a sports bar and American food establishment located just outside of the Atlanta Braves stadium in a cool area with other sites and places to eat and drink called the battery. Me and my buddies were in town on a weekend getaway and was walking around the local professional teams stadiums when we came across this area and place to eat. Located on the backside of the stadium it actually connects to the inside of the stadium as well so I imagine That is very convenient on games days. The vibe in This place was very cool and fun which is idea for a sports bar. The cool turtle decor everywhere including the Water tower out front was fun. Our tables were very sticky but as tj waiter told us that is common. So maybe they should pony up and get some new tables because it was kinda gross. The menu is a bit limited. I personally order the frito pie. Which is frito chips with bbq on them. I previously had something like that in Saint Louis once and I must have been spoiled as the plate was massive and this was literally just a small bag of Fritos with mediocre tasting bbq on it. My buddies go some wings and a pulled pork sandwich. They wasn't blown away either. Kits very average tasting food. I tried a few wings and o would concur. Just very ordinary tasting. Nothing that would clamor me to come for the food. Overall as alluded to This is a cool place and I'm sure game days here are a blast. I'm not sure I would recommend coming strictly for the food. But I would say come for the atmosphere and a good time.

Ricky B.

Yelp
I got a Togo order here and every person I spoke with was very nice and made sure I was taken care of. They even offered me a free bottle of sauce because my food took too long in there eyes (like maybe 15 minutes). Best accommodation I have ever experienced.

Yelp
Sat outside on a mild Wednesday. Wasn't crowded. Husband ordered the seasonal. The waitress returned to deliver the news that they were out. He tried ordering another seasonal. Waitress came back to advise they were ALSO out of that. While kind of her, she came to the table with a substitute, but it was vastly on opposite end of the flavor/profile spectrum from what he was trying to order. To skip the drama, he opted for a liquor mixed drink instead. Not a good look for a taproom, for starters. As for dinner, we opted to share some BBQ. To channel Vivian Ward a la Pretty Woman, "Big mistake. HUGE!" Brisket was offensively dry. Straight up cardboard level. Could barely saw through it with the cheap plastic ware the serve up. The plate also shared space with what they referred to as "smoked chicken". Nowhere does it mention bone-in. It was greasy and flavorless. The sides came with green beans. Salty. Served with huge chunks of what I would assume ham, but it wasn't mentioned on the menu either. The only redeemable factor was the tots, which came out crispy and hot. However, any restaurant with a deep fryer could accomplish that. Long story short, a $60 dinner later, we left offended that Fox Bros slapped their name on this TERRIBLE BBQ and that Terrapin's representation at the Battery is this lackluster. Do better.
google avatar

Stefan H.

Yelp
Come for the beer, not the bbq Hanging around checking The Battery is a fun time and if you're hungry and thirsty, what is better than a brewery and a bbq spot all in one, especially a bbq joint known well in the Atlanta area Unfortunately the food standards here are not the same as you would find in Dekalb. The pulled pork was dry, brisket just OK, collard greens salty as the ocean and a dry Mac and cheese The beers on the other hand were great and if you're here for the brews, then I would stay as long as you'd like but for food try a different spot. The service was fine and the ambiance is cool for a game day so if you're just looking for a decent vibe then this place isn't too bad

Yelp
On this particular evening, I visited Terrapin Taproom to catch up with my frat brothers. I've been to The Battery numerous times, but never ate at this restaurant. The Service: Our waitress was nice & gave us lots of suggestions based on our appetites. The Parking: If my memory serves me correctly, The Battery offers free parking for the first two hours. After that, there's a charge. But if you're frugal like me, you won't mind leaving & returning to get a new ticket so you don't have to pay. Finesse. The Atmosphere: Bar vibes. The have regular tables as well to sit and eat. It feels very open. The Food: I ordered the 2 Meat Combo ($21.50), which is a choice between Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, 1/4 Smoked Chicken, Chicken Salad or 4 Smoked Wings. I chose the beef brisket & 4 smoked wings w/ Tater tots & Greens. VERY good!! I really enjoyed it. Overall, I'd definitely come back. I really enjoyed the food and environment.

Yelp
The food was pretty good, nothing to rush out or changed plans to have. The service was lack luster. After the food came (with which there was an issue) the server was MIA for about 15-20min. I SPECIFICALLY asked for NO mustard on my sandwich. When it was placed in front of me (as you can also see in the pic) there was mustard on the sandwich and it appears that there was an attempt to remove it. NOT happy

Yelp
Terrapin is a brewery that Ben has been wanting to go to but their main location is in Athens, GA, which was just a little too far of a drive back north than what we wanted to do on this road trip. Luckily, they have a taproom location. What we didn't know was the taproom was located at the new-er Truist Park where the Braves play at. Driving up we were surprised but not as much as how the park is laid out once you're in the area. It is amazing. We found our way to Terrapin and sat at the bar to see what options they had for Ben. One of the great things about breweries having different locations is that sometimes they have taproom exclusives even for their separate locations. That was the case here at Terrapin as you could see that they do brew right on location and the beertender advised us on what was just for that location as they had a flight list for their ATL Brew Lab. Bonus for Ben. Our flight had on Brew Lab German Pils, Sample Port Lager, Walk Off, Full Count and Paint the Corner. They do have a full menu that I read over but I noticed that they get their BBQ from Fox Brothers, which is an Atlanta staples I know about from Food Network so we decided to wait on the food and that if we were going to eat Fox Brothers, we'd rather do it at their restaurant.

Yelp
Great place to stop for a nice draft went out at the battery ordered a Braves game. Tonight was the first night I had any food at this place. Had a couple appetizers: The BBQ Pork Nachos and the Onion Rings. The nachos were pretty lame, just like the cheap ballpark nachos except these had pork on them. The problem was that the pork was not hot but almost cold and then was in cut in huge chunks that you had to tear apart by hand - and who wants to do that when eating nachos? The onion rings were simply OK, but the dipping sauce was very good. I'll try their other menu items some other time, but based on tonight's appetizers 2 stars on the food is the very best I could give. 4 stars for the beer and the location.
google avatar

Stuart S.

Yelp
It's all right. The beer definitely beats the food. But we came here as a central area to meet some old college pals. In a sports environment sans the braves. Will come back in the summer months to slosh down more brewskis.
google avatar

Dena H.

Yelp
I came from out of town and wanted to try some southern BBQ so we ate here while walking around truist park. The food here was good but not the best BBQ, I've had better. The brisket nachos were good if you're looking for something to share or a small plate.

Yelp
I went to Terrapin to grab a beer and dinner. They were pretty busy for a non game night. I grabbed a seat at the bar, and Alex greeted me right away with drink selections. I started with the Hopsecutioner IPA, which was great! For dinner, I had the Texacutioner, which was a outstanding sandwich. I wasn't crazy about the green beans side, but overall, dinner was great, with fantastic service! I would recommend to anyone who wants a place to hang out, watch sports, have great/attentive service, eat great food, and enjoy local beer! Cheers!
google avatar

Amber T.

Yelp
This is a perfect place to stop in before a Braves game or for just hanging out in the Battery! Our server Justin was great! The brisket is amazing (sandwich or Taquitos we had both) and I recommend their White sauce Management is really nice too

Yelp
Gonna be honest, came here more for the Fox Brothers than the beer, but was happy with both by the time I left! Pretty sweet location at the Battery, as they are technically attached to the actual stadium, on the first base side of things, so as you can imagine, during game days of non-Covid years, this place is packed from one side to the other! During my recent visit, there was a game going on, but given Covid, it was a regular day at the restaurant, which made for a shorter than normal wait - and I wasn't complaining! I already had some friends at the bar, so I wasn't waiting for a table, but when I arrived there were about 10 people waiting to be seated and it took them 20 or so minutes to get through that line. So, they were pretty efficient with turning the tables. We were sat at the bar, which was staffed with (2) bartenders. I sat down and was walked by at least 5 times before one of them decided to check to see if I wanted/needed anything. I will say that the service at the bar was simply atrocious. The bartenders were not friendly, helpful or attentive...nor did they understand the proper way to wear a mask. To be honest, they just seemed disinterested. Food wise, we started with the fried pickles which were decent. They were crispy and tangy, and plentiful! For our main dishes, we all got something with pulled pork in it, as one would expect when Fox Bros was slinging the meat. I ended up with the Totchos, a bed of crispy tater tots topped with pulled pork, cheese sauce and jalapenos...and of course you can coat it with your preferred bbq sauce. I will say that I really enjoyed the totchos and my peers really enjoyed their bbq sandwiches. To wash the tots down, I scrolled through their list of draft beers and landed on the Love is Love. It was a light IPA that partnered perfectly with the salty pickles and tots. Speaking of those things, while the service of ordering or generally being cared for was lackluster, the delivery of the food was expeditious and friendly - the food runners were on point! Overall, this is a solid bar/restaurant when you are in or around the Battery. I will say that they are not social distancing here, but I think that runs true around the Battery. Every table was filled, as well as every seat at the bar and the distance between everything was normal. I don't live far from the Battery, so next time I am there wondering around, I will probably be doing it with the Terrapin in my hand...but I don't think I will be dining in again.

Yelp
Sat at the bar with the Braves game on the TV right in front of me. Ordered the Smoked Wings. Ample size and very flavorful. Couldn't even finish all 12. Had 4 for breakfast the next morning! Bartender/server was very cool. Chatted us up but kept his "COVID distance" and wore a mask. I had asked for another Frenchy's Blues and afternoon about 5 minutes he realized he forgot so he gave me one on the house. Now that's customer service!!

Yelp
Great value for the food. Great food. Our server Andrew was amazing. The atmosphere by the ballpark is great. Definitely recommend hitting this soot before going to a Braves game.

Yelp
Just an OK barbecue establishment that my buddies and I stop by to have a quick lunch. We were hungry so we went in here and I got a barbecue pork sandwich and macaroni and cheese with brisket on it and neither one was very good to be honest. Rotten really worth the money table was sticky I'm just really didn't have a really good time to be honest none of us really liked our food

Yelp
Had the best chicken wings of my life. Saw an IG post with their Chef Charmaine talking about their Jamaican Jerk Bourbon smoked wings. My wife and I went there 2 hours later and saw Chef Charmaine there. She said that the Jamaican wings are not on the menu but will make them for us. My wife usually doesn't like wings but loved these. We got bleu cheese dressing and ranch dressing but really didn't need them. We also got the pulled chicken salad with bbq vinaigrette dressing. First time at the Battery and will definitely be back.

Yelp
We visited Terrapin Taproom while in Atlanta taking in a concert and decided to check out The Battery. They're so many restaurants and shops at The Battery we had a hard time determining where or what to eat but ultimately chose Terrapin Taproom, I really wanted BBQ, so here we was! The atmosphere was really cool and chill. Our waitress was knowledgeable of the menu but like everywhere else the restaurant was short on staff. I ordered the two meat combo, brisket & chicken. Everything I ordered was ok but not great, I expected more smoke flavor, chicken was chewy and brisket was overcooked. The best dish was the mac and cheese. The Taproom was very good the on-site brewery was cool to see and the beer had a unique but flavorful style. With so many choices at The Battery I'm sure we'll try something else next time.

Yelp
We came in to eat after a long day at work. It was busy and we really weren't in a hurry. We ordered drinks and food. It took a while for food to come out, well at least 3 of the 4 of us. My half smoked chicken was no where to be found. 10 minutes later the server came back with it and said "they had to go get it off the grill"! So my expectation was that it would be piping hot. Ummmmm no, it was barely luke warm, bordering on cold. I got the servers attention and told her. She eventually brought another out but I just declined and ate what i had. We asked for it to be taken off the bill, she said that the manager would probably give a discount. I was expecting an apology and/or the manager coming over, but nope, no where to be seen. I would not go back to this restaurant.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the food selection. I thought it was going to be like stadium food since it's so close to the braves stadium. They had one of my favorite appetizers, fried pickles. I had a brisket sandwich and they give you the option of sliced or chopped. I opted for the chopped and this brisket was so tasty. It was a very filling sandwich that I only ate half and brought the rest home for my husband. I had a very tasty drink called the son of a peach and I highly recommend if you're in the mood for a sweet drink. I went with a very large group of coworkers and it the service was quick and the server helped us with a smile and great wnergy

Yelp
They have Fox BBQ, but as a vegetarian i didn't eat that. Those with me did and enjoyed it a lot. i got a salad and it was really really good. The service was ok. The beer selection was very limited. I would expect when visiting a taproom that they would have all of the beers to try. Good for business, good for PR. They only have a few IPA's, which i don't like. How can a taproom not have a big selection. This knocked them down a star.

Yelp
They wouldn't serve me a drink. I am 21 years old. This is absolutely ridiculous it is the SEC championship and they won't serve me. I would not recommend this place to anybody the food is awful the setting is even worse and the staff is worse than worse. Zero stars. Don't come here.

Yelp
Brisket was really salty. We went on a slow day and the service was still slow. My friends ordered a flight of beer and was told to wait to get the last one because they were supposed to be getting it shortly and she never got it. Not to mention it was her birthday. The greens were really good and as were the rest of the sides. We got a bunch of variations of the Mac and cheese too and that was really good. The cornbread is really dry but the tater tots were really crispy.. but who can mess up tater tots.. overall it was fine. I've definitely had better bbq
